Abstract

The rise of juvenile delinquency, klitih, and good pornography circulating on social media, television broadcasts, news reports. This is because children and adolescents to adults lack character education and assistance (guidance) from the closest people and parents. The purpose of this study is to describe early childhood or those seen from the point of view of character education in Islamic education. As an anticipation of the negative impacts of gadgets, handponds, and gedged. This research is based on literature review. This type of research uses a literature review. Data is generated or obtained through literature data, books, journals, and online news exposures. Data collection techniques come from primary data, secondary data, and reference sources from books and journals that are relevant to the research theme. The data analysis technique uses content analysis of the contents of the literature research. The results of the study found that there were elements and motives for juvenile delinquency, children could not be directed and managed by their parents, it was difficult for their teachers and parents to regulate and guide them. There is content that is not useful, as well as sites that are not good. This is due to the low and weak character education and guidance of Islamic education for children. The importance of being selective and smart in social media. The implications of this research are character building and guidance in the perspective of Islamic education.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak signifikan terhadap kondisi sosial-ekonomi masyarakat di Bantul, Yogyakarta, khususnya di Dusun Mutihan. Banyak warga mengalami PHK, penurunan pendapatan, dan kesulitan ekonomi, namun distribusi Bantuan Langsung Tunai (BLT) dari pemerintah dinilai tidak merata dan tidak tepat sasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis ketimpangan distribusi BLT dan dampaknya terhadap tiga profesi rentan: guru honorer, karyawan swasta, dan pengusaha bus. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara, serta dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru mengalami pemotongan gaji, pengusaha bus kehilangan pelanggan, dan karyawan swasta di-PHK. Ironisnya, BLT justru diterima oleh warga yang tergolong mampu secara ekonomi, memicu kecemburuan sosial dan ketidakpercayaan publik terhadap kebijakan distribusi bantuan. Sebagai solusi, penelitian ini merekomendasikan pendekatan Moderasi Beragama Islam—yang menekankan nilai empati, keadilan, dan kejujuran—untuk memperkuat keadilan sosial. Reformulasi kebijakan bantuan berbasis nilai-nilai moderasi dan Pancasila dinilai penting untuk menciptakan distribusi yang lebih adil dan merata.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has created new dynamics in religious practice, particularly in the tension between spirituality and adherence to health protocols. Lockdown policies that restricted public worship activities, such as the closure of mosques and prayer rooms, triggered various responses, including the narrative “fearing hell more than Covid-19.” This article argues that the development of moderate religious attitudes can be conceptually constructed through integrating neuroscience perspectives with the living fatwa of Muhammadiyah scholars during the pandemic. This study employs a qualitative literature-based approach, drawing on key sources concerning religious moderation, Muhammadiyah fatwas related to Covid-19, and relevant literature on neuroscience in Islamic education. Data were analyzed using content analysis methods that emphasize intertextuality and conceptual articulation. The findings indicate that a moderate religious attitude is not merely normative-theological but is also closely linked to cognitive and affective processes in the human brain, as reflected in the practice of living Islam. This study reinforces the importance of fatwas as both an ethical reference and a subject of critical analysis through neuroscience within contemporary Islamic studies. The article contributes to broadening the academic framework of religious moderation through an interdisciplinary approach between Islamic studies and neuroscience.

Abstract

Tradisi Nyadran merupakan kearifan lokal yang memiliki potensi signifikan dalam pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji transformasi tradisi Nyadran dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis humanisreligius di Dusun Mutihan, Desa Wirokerten, Kecamatan Banguntapan, Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Informan terdiri dari warga setempat, tokoh masyarakat, serta ustadz atau pemimpin tradisi Nyadran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik Nyadran mengalami pergeseran dari sekadar ritual ziarah menjadi sarana pembelajaran nilai-nilai seperti syukur kepada leluhur, gotong royong, dan refleksi spiritual keislaman. Nilai-nilai ini berpotensi diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan formal maupun nonformal. Namun, tantangan seperti menurunnya minat generasi muda dan pengaruh modernisasi menjadi hambatan dalam pelestariannya. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa integrasi tradisi Nyadran dalam pendidikan karakter dapat menjadi strategi inovatif yang menggabungkan pelestarian budaya lokal dengan pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model pendidikan berbasis budaya serta memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan dalam pendidikan karakter di Indonesia.

Abstract

Background & objectives: The implementation of a child friendly school ecosystem through religious habits and a humanist approach highlights the need for research on effective governance to create a safe, comfortable, and character building school environment. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of the learning ecosystem with humanist religious principles, identify strengths and weaknesses, and provide strategic recommendations to improve adaptive and relevant learning. Method: Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, this research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Kleco Yogyakarta. The research followed four main procedures: 1) preparation, including problem identification and instrument design; 2) implementation, involving data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation; 3) analysis, where data was systematically processed and interpreted; and 4) reporting of findings. Informants, including teachers, students, and school principals, were selected through purposive sampling based on their relevance to the research objectives. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by descriptive analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The study found that SD Muhammadiyah Kleco, Yogyakarta, implements child friendly schools through a noncoercive approach, strengthening Islamic character, and teacher-student-parent collaboration. The religious humanist approach emphasizes respectful interactions and moral education. Contribution of theory: Futuristic learning integrates technology but faces challenges in consistency and infrastructure. Supporting Al-Attas' Islamic Education Theory. Recommendations: This study recommends further research on technological adaptation and child friendly school policies in Islamic education.

Abstract

Penerapan metode Imla' menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk akses teknologi dan kurangnya pelatihan guru. Meskipun terdapat tantangan yang ada, peluang untuk mengembangkan metode Imla' melalui integrasi teknologi dan pendekatan pembelajaran kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan tematik di kelas VIII MTsN 2 Pacitan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Imla' di MTsN 2 Pacitan yang dipadukan dengan aplikasi digital kahoot dan jamoard mendongkrak keterlibatan siswa dan meningkatkan kemajuan mereka dalam menulis. Tantangan tetap ada, termasuk distribusi teknologi yang tidak merata. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup peningkatan akses teknologi, pelatihan untuk guru dan siswa, dan pendekatan diferensiasi dalam pembelajaran. Dengan penerapan solusi ini, diharapkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis Bahasa Arab dapat ditingkatkan, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih baik dan efektif.

Abstract

 Arabic language learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) still faces several obstacles besides the geographical factor of the school which is located in a remote area so that appropriate innovation is needed so that it can increase students' interest in learning, if this is allowed to continue then learning seems ineffective and difficult for students to accept. Therefore, an innovative and interesting learning strategy is needed. This study aims to implement a picture-based learning strategy in Arabic language learning for grade 1 at MI, this strategy uses a method of images that are relevant to the learning material to improve student understanding and retention. The results of the study showed that the picture-based learning strategy was able to increase students' interest and motivation higher, students' understanding and focus also improved, and improved Arabic language learning outcomes. Therefore, the strategy of using relevant images can be used as an alternative learning and can also be an additional teaching material for effective and interesting Arabic at MI.

Abstract

The prevailing issues in education have shown that schools and teachers have struggled to implement effective Arabic learning methodologies. While teachers comprehend various teaching approaches, these methods are often ineffective for students. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the al-sam'iyyah al-syafawiyyah learning method in teaching Arabic at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The research used a qualitative method to involve teachers and students within SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis followed Miles and Huberman's data display, reduction, and verification techniques. Triangulation was utilized to fortify the research data from fieldwork and primary sources (literature). The study revealed significant disparities between the al-sam'iyyah al-syafawiyyah method and the conventional teaching approaches practiced by teachers at the school. According to teacher feedback, the predominant method used thus far has been lecturing, resulting in 60% of students not mastering the 'mufradāt.' Conversely, the implications of the al-sam'iyyah al-syafawiyyah method indicated highly engaged, active, and practical students. This method primarily focuses on enhancing student concentration through listening, imitating teacher explanations, and practicing the fluency of 'mufradāt.'

Abstract

The development of the flow of Arabic knowledge at the pesantren level (Madrasah Aliyah, Madrasah Diniyah, and Madrasah Ta'wiliyah). Demanding increased Arabic learning to santri. However, this is inversely proportional to the fact that students are declining in developing Arabic mufrodat and linguistics material. This study aims to analyze the Arabic language learning model based on multiple intelligences from a neuroscience perspective. The setting of this research is located in the Himmatul ‘Amilin Islamic Boarding School in Yogyakarta. The subjects of this research consisted of the leaders of Islamic boarding schools, musyrif, and ustadz. Subject selection was carried out using the purposive sampling technique to obtain objective and valid data. The approach in this research is to use a case study-based qualitative method. Researchers in collecting data using observation methods, direct interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was followed by Milies and Huberman, namely by displaying data, reducing data, and verifying data. The results of this study explain that learning Arabic based on multiple intelligences increases the intelligence of students in learning Arabic mufradat and linguistics (mufradat, Arabic morphology, and Arabic syntax). From some of the material taught, namely about everyday mufradat and understanding of shorof in the isim file chapter. In this case, multiple intelligences are combined with neuroscientific theory between the interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence centers in the right brain and left brain. This research has implications for the improvement and development of students in understanding Arabic material (quwaidul arabiyah) in today's Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Education in the era of transformation affects the development of science and technology since teachers are directed to be innovative in language teaching. This study aimed to develop Arabic language media based on brain-based learning for SMK (Vocational High School) Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta during the Covid-19 period. This study employed Research and Development (R and D)method with the development model proposed by Borg and Gall. The research subjects consisted of ten students and three teachers. Research data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The researchers implemented the data analysis technique by Miles and Huberman. Furthermore, the researchers ensure the data validity by triangulation. The analysis indicated that the Arabic language media was feasible to be used. The validity had been tested by two material experts and two media experts. Material expert 1 gave an average score of 4.27, and material expert 2 gave an average score of 4.81, both within the high category. On the other hand, media expert 1 gave an average score of 4.42, and media expert 2 gave an average score of 3.71, both within the high category. Also, the product had been tested on ten students during the small-scale trial and the large-scale trial. According to material experts' validation, the weakness of the product was related to the title of the material and the duration. Therefore, the developed media could increase mufrodat mastery in the industrial 4.0 era.
