Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concepts of freedom to learn and freedom to learn from an Islamic perspective. The research method used is the library research method. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The approach used is a descriptive study. The research results explain that Islam has never limited the learning process. This concept of freedom to learn was previously implemented by the Father of Indonesian Education, namely Ki Hadjar Dewantara. However, the concept he founded continues to undergo changes and follows changes along with changes in education ministers.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berperan penting dalam membantu peserta didik sekolah dasar memahami materi abstrak, seperti pada mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPAS) materi daerahku dan kekayaan alamnya, terutama pada tahap keterampilan kolaborasi dan pemahamannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penggunaan media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan pemahaman siswa kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Sampel terdiri dari 42 peserta didik kelas IV yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen (21 peserta didik, menggunakan media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus) dan kelas kontrol (21 peserta didik, tanpa media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, tes, dan observasi, dengan analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, homogenitas, independent sample t-test, dan N-Gain dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus efektif meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik, dibuktikan dengan rata-rata persentase angket pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 78,08% (kategori efektif), lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 45,15% (kurang efektif). Uji independent sample t test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelas dengan perolehan nilai t = 3,338 dengan Sig. One-Sided P = < 0,001 dan Sig. Two-Sided P = < 0,002 (sig < 0,05), dengan rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen 52,6037% (cukup efektif) dan kelas kontrol 17,1617% (kurang efektif). Observasi juga menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 100% dan kelas kontrol 55,84%. Kesimpulannya, media Rekayasa Gunung Meletus efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial materi daerahku dan kekayaan alamnya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan pemahaman peserta didik kelas IV SD.

Abstract

The COVID-19 outbreak throughout the world forced the government of Indonesia to shift academic programs into online mode. The objectives of this study are to describe the teachers' strategies for teaching narrative writing during the COVID-19 outbreak and to find out the teachers' reasons to choose the strategies. Therefore, a qualitative research design was applied and the data was gathered through semi-structured interviews and online observation. Two exemplary teachers were involved as the respondents in the present study. Data coding was conducted to analyze the data gained from those research instruments. The findings revealed that the first respondent (JY) used cooperative learning, group discussion, and translation as her strategies in teaching English narrative writing text. Meanwhile, the second respondent (RN) used guided questions, cooperative learning, and translation as her strategies for teaching English narrative text during the pandemic. The findings showed that the first respondent (JY) utilized those strategies to increase students' participation, enhance students' vocabulary mastery, and developed student writing ability. Meanwhile, the second respondent (RN) utilized the aforementioned strategies to enrich students' vocabulary mastery, and improve students sentence structure.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika di Madrasah Aliyah masih menghadapi kendala rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa akibat keterbatasan sarana praktikum dan dominasi pembelajaran berpusat pada guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa MAN Kota Palangka Raya melalui asistensi perancangan berbasis eksperimen sederhana. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan service learning melalui tahapan perencanaan, aksi, refleksi, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 68,57% siswa berada pada kategori baik dan sangat baik dalam penyusunan laporan praktikum. Nilai percepatan gravitasi yang diperoleh siswa relatif mendekati nilai teoritis meskipun masih dipengaruhi keterbatasan alat dan ketelitian pengukuran. Kegiatan ini terbukti meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa, kemampuan analisis data, serta pemahaman konsep gaya gravitasi, sehingga berkontribusi positif terhadap pembelajaran fisika yang kontekstual dan aplikatif di madrasah dengan keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium.

Abstract

In education, reading ability is a very important basic skill. However, not all students are able to master reading skills well, especially students who have dyslexia. Based on initial observations at SD Negeri 2 Sukamulya, it was found that several students had difficulty recognizing letters, arranging letters into words, and reading fluently, thus hampering the learning process. Therefore, learning media is needed that suits the characteristics of dyslexic students, one of which is through the use of Canva-based audio-visual media. This research aims to determine the characteristics of dyslexic students, describe the application of Canva audio-visual media, and analyze the effect of its use on improving the reading ability of dyslexic students at SD Negeri 2 Sukamulya. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a One Group Pretest–Posttest design. The research subjects were five dyslexic students who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through reading and observation tests, while data analysis used normality tests and hypothesis testing in the form of paired sample t-test. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in students' reading abilities after being given treatment using Canva audio-visual media. The average pretest score of 38 increased to 52 on the posttest. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.033 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Canva-based audio-visual media has a significant effect on improving the reading ability of dyslexic students at SD Negeri 2 Sukamulya.

Abstract

This study examines how students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) view the role of Islamic law in supporting the creation of social justice in Indonesia, since their perspectives have not been widely explored in previous research. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, the study involved UPI students from various study programs who filled out an online questionnaire based on a Likert scale. The data collected were then processed through descriptive statistical analysis to identify general tendencies in students’ understanding and assessment of Islamic legal principles. The findings show that most students hold a positive view of Islamic law, particularly regarding its emphasis on justice, public benefit, and equality. They also consider Islamic law compatible with the Indonesian legal framework and see its values as relevant to social issues faced today. In general, students perceive Islamic law not only as a set of religious rules but also as a moral foundation that can contribute to efforts toward building a fairer society. These results indicate that UPI students recognize the potential of Islamic law to play a constructive role in strengthening social justice in Indonesia.

Abstract

Hijab merupakan penutup kepala yang kini secara pergantian zamannya mengalami perkembangan pesat dengan model yang beragam. Tren hijab di kalangan perempuan modern bukanlah hal yang baru lagi sehingga hijab yang awalnya fungsinya untuk menutup aurat, mengalami perkembangan menjadi sebuah fashion dan tren. Dalam nilai hijab dalam praktik perempuan modern tentunya beragam, ada yang berhijab, tetapi masih menggunakan pakaian ketat, dan sebagainya. IPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji tentang internalisasi nilai hijab dalam praktik perempuan modern. Penelitian ini mengguakan metode kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan, yakni sumber data primer yang mana berasal dari hasil wawancara dengan subjek. Sedangkan sumber data sekunder, yakni berasal dari referensi jurnal, skirpsi, buku, dan sebagainya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yakni berupa observasi dan wawancara.
