Abstract

This study addresses the low entrepreneurial readiness among vocational education students, a condition that persists despite the increasing national demand for young entrepreneurs. This gap is evident in the lack of practical skills such as identifying business opportunities, calculating production costs, and effectively marketing products. The aim of this study was to strengthen students' entrepreneurial capacity through an integrated mentoring model tailored to their learning context at SMK Al-Furqon Bondowoso, Indonesia. The method used was a community-based training approach that included seminars, workshops, coaching, and hands-on practice during a three-day intervention (January 4-6, 2026). The findings indicate an increased understanding of entrepreneurial concepts, competency in calculating production costs, pricing, and profit margins, and improvements in designing basic marketing strategies using offline and online media. Participants also demonstrated a shift in attitudes toward entrepreneurship as a viable career path that can be planned as early as possible. The study concludes that context-responsive mentoring can bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in vocational settings and has the potential to be replicated to support entrepreneurship development in similar institutions at the secondary education level. These findings also emphasize the importance of an entrepreneurial empowerment model for the younger generation.

Abstract

Waqf assets play an important role in sustaining religious, educational, and social activities in rural communities. However, many waqf assets remain vulnerable because their legal status has not been formally documented through a Waqf Pledge Deed (Akta Ikrar Wakaf or AIW). This community service program aimed to strengthen the legal protection of waqf assets in Kemirian Village, Indonesia, by improving community legal literacy and facilitating the administrative formalization of waqf assets. The program employed a participatory assistance approach that integrated legal education, waqf asset identification, document inventory, administrative verification, social mediation, and facilitation with the Waqf Pledge Deed Official (PPAIW) at the local Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). The implementation revealed several barriers to waqf legalization, including incomplete historical ownership documents, limited administrative capacity among nazhir, operational constraints, and concerns regarding potential social tensions with heirs. Through intensive assistance, community administrators were supported in organizing required documents, understanding legal procedures, communicating with relevant institutions, and advancing the waqf pledge process. One identified prayer-room asset successfully progressed through a critical stage of waqf legalization, providing a practical reference for other community-managed religious assets. The program demonstrates that participatory assistance can bridge the gap between religious recognition and formal legal certainty. It also highlights the strategic role of higher education institutions in strengthening nazhir capacity, facilitating institutional coordination, and supporting sustainable community-based waqf governance.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini menganalisis praktik pernikahan dalam masa Iddah di Desa Wonosuko yangdipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal, seperti tradisi lokal, tekanan sosial, dan faktor ekonomi. Tujuanpenelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara hukum Islam dengan praktik di lapangantentang iddah, serta mengungkap faktor-faktor penyebab penyimpangan. Penelitian ini menggunakanpendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologis melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kajiandokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik Iddah sering diabaikan akibat pemahamanyang terbatas, tekanan ekonomi, dan pengaruh tradisi. oleh karenanya, diperlukan pendekatanedukasi hukum Islam yang kontekstual dan dukungan sosial-ekonomi untuk memastikan penerapansyariah yang sejalan dengan konteks lokal.Kata kunci : Pernikahan, Masa Iddah, Hukum Islam AbstractThis study analyzes the practice of marriage during the Iddah period in Wonosuko Village, influenced by variousfactors such as local traditions, social pressures, and economic conditions. The research aims to identify the gapsbetween Islamic law and its practical implementation regarding Iddah and to uncover the factors causingdeviations. This study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method through interviews,observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Iddah practices are often neglected due to limitedunderstanding, economic pressures, and traditional influences. Therefore, a contextual Islamic legal educationapproach and socio-economic support are needed to ensure the implementation of Sharia aligns with the localcontext.Keywords : Marriage, Iddah, Islamic Law
