Abstract

This study aims to obtain evidence concrete about the effect of parental attachment, teacher support, and learning motivation on science learning outcomes of elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of the study was 189 students of class V SDN Gajahmungkur in the academic year 2019/2020 with a sample of 128. The sampling technique used two stage random sampling. The data collection technique used unstructured interview techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that parental attachment had a significant direct effect of 23.9% on student learning outcomes. Teacher support has a direct effect of 29.9% on students' science learning outcomes and learning motivation has a significant direct effect of 29.1% on science learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of technology in education has become an unavoidable necessity in this digital era. This article discusses the implementation of training for lecturers at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Cenderawasih University in implementing the Learning Management System (LMS), an online platform that is able to increase the efficiency of teaching and learning at the tertiary level. This training aims to improve lecturers understanding and skills in using LMS as a means to manage learning material, present material interactively, and facilitate communication between lecturers and students. Training methods include practical training sessions, case studies, and group discussions. Training findings showed a significant increase in lecturers understanding and skills regarding LMS use. Lecturers are able to seamlessly manage their courses, present material more interactively, and take advantage of the collaborative features of the LMS. These resultas provide a positive picture of the potential of LMS in improving the quality of teaching at FKIP Cenderawasih University. Keywords: Learning Management System (LMS), Training, Lecturers

Abstract

This research focuses on differentiation learning carried out by teachers at SD Negeri Inpres VIM I Kotaraja Jayapura City, Papua Province as a demand for curriculum changes. The background of the problem comes from the difficulty of identifying learning needs, learning styles, interests of students from different social backgrounds. This requires teachers to be able to create learning that suits the needs and abilities of each student. In this case, implementing differentiated learning can be a solution to overcome student diversity. The expected result of this research is a better understanding of the application of differentiated learning and improving the quality of learning at SD Negeri Inpres VIM I Kotaraja Jayapura City, Papua Province through differentiated learning. In addition, the recommendations of this research are to increase the application of differentiated learning in elementary schools, and its availability. source of information for teachers and other researchers.

Abstract

Currently, educators or lecturers are required to convey differentiated learning methods and use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. Knowing each students strengths and weaknesses helps lecturers create learning designs that can improve learning outcomes that have been determined, especially in course on ethics and the teaching profession. In the PjBL model there are stages or steps to solve current problems from the material that has been prepared. By solving problems in groups and creating a work in the form of a product, students will work together and be actibe to complete their assignments. This research activity aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes using the PjBL learning model in the ethics and teaching profession course. The research method that will be used is the qualitative method, which is a research method that emphasizes analysis or description. The research results clearly show a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif di SD Inpres Pir II berfokus pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi di lingkungan Pendidikan dasar. Isu pokok melibatkan kebutuhan akan pendekatan inovatif dalam pengajaran di era digital. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menciptakan dan mengintegrasikan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan pelatihan, mediasi dan konsultasi. Guru-guru di SD Inpres Pir II diberikan panduan dalam menggunakan teknologi terkini untuk menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan berinteraksi. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan teknis guru tetapi juga memperkuat keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Langkah-langkah konkrit yang diambil selama pelatihan, memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas Pendidikan di SD Inpres Pir II. Pelatihan ini dapat menjadi model bagi sekolah-sekolah lain dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran di era digital.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran. Namun, guru-guru di SD Inpres Koya Tengah masih terbatas dalam pemanfaatan teknologi ini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran berbasis video menggunakan aplikasi CapCut yang dikenal mudah dioperasikan dan memiliki fitur-fitur kreatif. Melalui pelatihan ini, guru-guru diharapkan dapat membuat video pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan dinamis, sehingga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan meliputi demonstrasi penggunaan aplikasi, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan intensif. Guru-guru dilatih untuk memahami fitur-fitur dasar CapCut seperti pemotongan video, penambahan teks, efek suara, dan transisi, serta penerapan kreativitas dalam penyusunan materi ajar berbasis video. Setiap peserta kemudian membuat video pembelajaran sederhana sebagai bagian dari evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru mampu menguasai teknik-teknik dasar pengeditan video dan menghasilkan materi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga berhasil meningkatkan rasa percaya diri guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pengajaran. Simpulannya, pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran dengan CapCut di SD Inpres Koya Tengah telah memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi. Diharapkan kemampuan ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the implementation of differentiated instruction in classes with students with special needs, evaluate its effectiveness, and provide recommendations for improvement. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method at SD Inpres SKP F3 Arso, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed  that the implementation of differentiated instruction, through content, process, and product classification, successfully enhanced the academic achievement and socio-emotional development of students with special needs. Teachers demonstrated  a good understanding of adapting teaching strategies to meet individual students needs. Challenges such as limited teachers knowledge of differentiated instruction can be addressed through training and collaboration with experts. This study concludes that differentiated instruction is an effective solution for improving the quality of learning in inclusive classrooms. Recommendations include teacher training development and registering the school as an inclusive institution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk kesiapan guru di Jayapura dalam melaksanakan program inklusi di sekolah dasar, mengingat beragamnya latar belakang budaya, etnis, dan kondisi sosial ekonomi di wilayah ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 42 guru di SDN Inpres Kotaraja, Jayapura. Instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara dan kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terhadap konsep pendidikan inklusi mencapai 97%, dengan guru mampu mengimplementasikan pendekatan yang tepat untuk peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Guru juga telah menggunakan strategi dan model pembelajaran yang sesuai, meskipun terbebani oleh tugas administrasi. Lingkungan belajar yang disediakan sekolah cukup mendukung, namun masih diperlukan peningkatan alat bantu pembelajaran. Dukungan orang tua memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan program inklusi, meski hanya 60% keluarga yang berpartisipasi aktif. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran penting bagi pemangku kepentingan kebijakan dan pihak terkait dalam meningkatkan kesiapan guru dan dukungan bagi program inklusi di Jayapura.Kata kunci : Kesiapan Guru, Pendidikan Inklusi, Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus, Jayapura, Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Abstrak Penguatan kompetensi digital guru merupakan kebutuhan mendesak di era transformasi digital pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru SD INPRES PIR 2 ARSO, Papua, dalam membuat video pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan aplikasi Kinemaster. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dengan melibatkan 14 guru sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi langsung, praktik mandiri, diskusi kelompok, dan tanya jawab. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman teknologi digital, dari 30% menjadi 85%. Sebanyak 12 dari 14 guru berhasil menyelesaikan video pembelajaran berkualitas baik, dengan 80% video memenuhi standar kualitas yang diharapkan. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan perangkat dan koneksi internet. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung proses belajar-mengajar, membuka peluang untuk pengembangan program pelatihan lanjutan di masa mendatang Kata kunci: aplikasi kinemaster; kompetensi guru; literasi digital; video pembelajaran. Abstract Strengthening teachers' digital competence is an urgent need in the era of digital transformation in education. This community service activity aimed to enhance the skills of teachers at SD INPRES PIR 2 ARSO, Papua, in creating interactive educational videos using the Kinemaster application. The training was conducted over 2 days, involving 14 teachers as participants. The methods used included interactive lectures, direct demonstrations, independent practice, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The training results showed a significant improvement in digital technology understanding, from 30% to 85%. Twelve out of 14 teachers completed high-quality educational videos, with 80% of the videos meeting the expected quality successfully standards. The main challenges faced included device limitations and internet connectivity issues. This activity successfully improved teachers' digital competence in utilizing technology to support the teaching-learning process, opening opportunities for the development of advanced training programs in the future. Keywords: digital literacy; educational video; kinemaster application; teacher competence.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of puzzle-based learning media in improving students' understanding of the life cycle. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) consisting of two cycles. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class 3C of SD Negeri Inpres Yotefa. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation of student activeness and interviews with teachers. Data analysis was done descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that the use of puzzle media contributed positively to students' understanding. In the pre-cycle, only 40% of students reached the KKM (≥75). After the intervention in cycle 1, the percentage of completeness increased to 57.2%, and in cycle 2 it increased again to 60.7%. This increase indicates that puzzle-based learning helps students understand the concept of the life cycle better than conventional methods. This study provides implications that puzzle media can be an innovative alternative in science learning in elementary schools, especially for conceptual materials.
