Abstract

The behavior of tourists in throwing rubbish in the Sombs Opu fort area is the cause of the decline in the aesthetic value of the environment. This research aims to analyze tourist behavior in throwing away rubbish in the Somba Opu fort area with the hope that tourists can better understand the problem of environmental pollution. This research uses a description method carried out through a survey with a data collection method using a questionnaire. The research location is the Somba Opu fort area with the research sample being tourists from the Somba Opu fort, Barombong District, Gowa Regency, Makassar City, totaling 30 people. Then the research data was analyzed to determine the behavior of tourists throwing rubbish in the Somba Opu fort area with the research results from highest to lowest being an attitude indicator of 87%, a knowledge indicator of 80%, and an infrastructure indicator of 63%. Research results show that this is due to tourists' lack of awareness of the risks posed by waste that is disposed of inappropriately. The high level of tourist knowledge cannot be a benchmark for awareness of maintaining the beauty of the Somba Opu fort area.

Abstract

The critical reasoning dimension of students in history learning is quite low, causing a lack of ability in solving problems, lack of curiosity, and learning that is still monotonous makes students lazy and bored in the learning process. To overcome this problem, one of them is done through the Pancasila student profile, by applying 6 dimensions. The purpose of this study was to analyze the obstacles and impacts of the Pancasila student profile of the critical reasoning dimension on the history learning process in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. This study used a qualitative method. The subjects of the study were 35 students of class X-5 of SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin using a questionnaire and 5 students in-depth interviews, 1 history subject teacher, and a curriculum representative. Data obtained through observation of teacher activities, student activities, critical reasoning skills and student motivation in the learning process. Data analysis techniques in this study were the implementation of learning and evaluation. In the application of the Pancasila student profile, the critical reasoning dimension has obstacles, namely internal and instrumental factors, as well as negative and positive impacts. The conclusion of the study was several obstacles and impacts that occurred in the learning process, but could still be overcome by schools and teachers. Suggestions for school principals, teachers, and other researchers are that this research can be used as an option in implementing the Pancasila student profile in the critical reasoning dimension in the history learning process.

Abstract

Fever in children, if not properly managed, can lead to several negative effects such as excessive fluid loss through evaporation, dehydration, seizures, decreased consciousness, and even death if left untreated. Non-pharmacological interventions to reduce fever include water tepid sponge therapy and cool patch therapy. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest and posttest three-group approach. Respondents were divided into three groups: water tepid sponge, cool patch, and control. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and the Mann-Whitney test. The Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.000 in the Water Tepid Sponge group, 0.000 in the Cool Patch group, and 0.002 in the control group. The Mann-Whitney test showed no significant difference between the pre-test body temperature of the Water Tepid Sponge group and the control group (p = 0.063 > 0.05), while a significant difference was found in the post-test (p = 0.000 < 0.05). For the Cool Patch group, there was no significant difference in the pre-test compared to the control (p = 0.672), but a significant difference was found in the post-test (p = 0.001). The Mann-Whitney test comparing the pre-test and post-test temperature differences between the Water Tepid Sponge and Cool Patch groups showed a significance value of 0.000. The mean rank for temperature reduction in the Water Tepid Sponge group was 35,27, while in the Cool Patch group it was 17,73. Both Water Tepid Sponge and Cool Patch therapies have an effect on reducing fever in pediatric patients in the Parkit Ward of QIM Hospital Batang. Water Tepid Sponge therapy is more effective than Cool Patch therapy in reducing fever.

Abstract

The digital transformation of public services necessitates the adoption of technology that is not only functional but also aligned with user expectations and operational goals. In this context, this study investigates the influence of perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) of the Marine Traffic and Transportation Management Information System (SIMLALA) on employee performance at the Directorate of Marine Traffic and Transportation, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. As digital platforms become integral to public service delivery, understanding the user-centric aspects of system implementation is crucial. Adopting a quantitative research approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 152 system users affiliated with marine transportation companies across Indonesia. The analytical method employed was Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), enabling the examination of complex relationships between constructs. The results indicate that both PU and PEOU significantly and positively affect customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is shown to have a substantial positive impact on employee performance. PU and PEOU also directly influence employee performance, indicating that the effectiveness and usability of SIMLALA contribute not only to external user satisfaction but also to internal organizational efficiency. Importantly, customer satisfaction acts as a strong mediating variable, bridging the effects of PU and PEOU on performance outcomes. This implies that improving the user experience through functional, intuitive systems can enhance service quality and employee productivity. The study contributes to the growing body of literature on technology acceptance and public sector digitalization, particularly in maritime transportation. It also provides practical recommendations for policymakers and system developers to prioritize usability and customer experience in designing and implementing digital public services, thereby ensuring both user satisfaction and enhanced institutional performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus pada permasalahan yang terjadi dengan adanya kesenjangan antara harapan dengan fakta yang ada dilapangan bahwa siswa belum mampu menyampaikan ide atau gagasan berdasarkan pemahamannya dan siswa belum mampu memberikan jawaban yang berbeda dan bervariasi dalam menyelesaikan suatu soal atau permasalahan yang diberikan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan model pembelajaran project based learning untuk memfokuskan pada kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah kelas XI di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap kemampuan belajar siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain pretest posttest. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning berjumlah 31 orang siswa dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan jumlah siswa 31 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai yang telah di uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran dan uji daya pembeda. Teknik analisis data diuji sebanyak tiga kali, yaitu dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada uji-t, data berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata 78.23 kemudian meningkat menjadi 85.48, sedangkan berpikir kreatif pada kelas kontrol memiliki rata-rata 74.84 menjadi 79,03 mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Pada uji hipotesis yang menggunakan Independent Sample t-Test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada kedua kelas, namun peningkatan yang terjadi pada kelas eksperimen lebih signifikan, dengan nilai p dua sisi ( p dua sisi ) sebesar 0,007 dari pengujian tersebut mendapatkan hasil maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran project based learning terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan berpikir kreatif siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning , dilihat dari hasil yang signifikan pada penggunaan model PjBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada proses pembelajaran sejarah kelas XI di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Kalurahan (BUMKal) Sambirejo, yang didirikan berdasarkan Peraturan Desa Nomor 5 Tahun 2016 dan direvisi dengan Peraturan Desa Nomor 3 Tahun 2019, telah berperan sebagai pilar utama dalam pengembangan ekonomi dan sosial di Kalurahan Sambirejo sejak tahun 2016. Dengan visi mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui berbagai sektor usaha, BUMKal telah mengoptimalkan potensi lokal dan menjalin kerjasama lintas sektor. Unit percetakan BUMKal Sambirejo, sebagai salah satu unit usaha, menghadapi sejumlah tantangan dalam pengelolaan lingkungan, desain produk, dan tata kelola keuangan. Program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut melalui peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, adopsi teknologi ramah lingkungan, dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip tata kelola perusahaan yang baik. Melalui pendampingan diharapkan unit percetakan BUMKal Sambirejo tidak hanya mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap lingkungan dan masyarakat. Konversi limbah kertas menjadi produk yang bernilai tambah, pengembangan desain produk yang inovatif, serta peningkatan transparansi keuangan merupakan beberapa contoh upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat peran BUMKal Sambirejo sebagai motor penggerak pembangunan berkelanjutan di tingkat lokal. Dengan demikian, masyarakat Sambirejo dapat merasakan manfaat yang lebih nyata dari keberadaan BUMKal, baik dalam bentuk peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi maupun peningkatan kualitas lingkungan hidup. The Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMKal) of Sambirejo, established based on Village Regulation No. 5 of 2016 and revised by Village Regulation No. 3 of 2019, has played a pivotal role in the economic and social development of Kalurahan Sambirejo since 2016. With a vision to improve the community's welfare through various business sectors, BUMKal has optimized local potential and fostered cross-sectoral collaborations. The BUMKal Sambirejo printing unit, as one of its business units, has faced several challenges in environmental management, product design, and financial governance. The community service program implemented aims to address these challenges by enhancing human resource capacity, adopting environmentally friendly technologies, and applying good corporate governance principles. Through mentorship, it is expected that the BUMKal Sambirejo printing unit will not only be able to improve efficiency and productivity but also contribute positively to the environment and community. The conversion of paper waste into value-added products, the development of innovative product designs, and the improvement of financial transparency are some examples of efforts made to achieve this goal. This community service program is expected to strengthen the role of BUMKal Sambirejo as a driving force for sustainable development at the local level. Thus, the people of Sambirejo can feel the more tangible benefits of BUMKal's existence, both in terms of improved economic welfare and improved quality of life.

Abstract

Penyakit kencing manis (Diabetes melitus) merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular (PTM) dimana kadar gula darah meningkat (hiperglikemia). Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit kronis yang akan menetap seumur hidup. Semakin tinggi prevalensi Diabetes Melitus dapat menyebabkan komplikasi seperti kerusakan pembuluh darah ke otak, jantung, perifer, sel saraf, mata, ginjal, dan bahkan berujung kematian. . Tujuan; Mengetahui Perbedaan terhadap 2 responden sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan penerapan senam kaki terhadap sensitifitas kaki terhadap sensitivits kaki pasien diabetes di RSUD Salatiga Metode; Jenis penelitian ini studi kasus yang menggunakan metode diskriptif Hasil; Setelah diberikan terapi Senam kaki diabetic selama 2x sehari selama 3 hari berturut turut dapat meningkatkan sensitivitas pada kaki. Kesimpulan; Terdapat perbedaan perkembangan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan senam kaki terhadap sensitivitas kaki

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the paradigm of balance between academic achievement and student well-being within the education systems of three OECD countries Japan, Denmark, and Finland. The primary objective is to explore how these nations interpret and implement the concept of equilibrium between academic demands and students’ emotional needs, as well as how their educational policies shape learners’ character and intrinsic motivation. The background of this study arises from the global disparity in educational orientations that often emphasize academic performance and testing outcomes while neglecting students’ psychological welfare, happiness, and holistic development. In many countries, excessive academic pressure has led to negative consequences such as stress, depression, and loss of learning motivation. Conversely, nations like Denmark and Finland demonstrate that prioritizing student well-being can foster meaningful and sustainable learning quality. This research adopts a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data were collected from national education policies, OECD reports, scientific publications, and previous studies. The data were analyzed through Comparative Qualitative Analysis (CQA) to identify similarities, differences, and underlying philosophical values in the educational paradigms of the three countries. The findings reveal that Japan emphasizes work ethics, discipline, and collective responsibility; Denmark prioritizes psychological welfare and learning autonomy; while Finland successfully integrates both through flexible curricula, non-competitive assessment systems, and high teacher professionalism. The implications of this study highlight the necessity for educational reform that balances academic demands with student well-being. The results conclude that an ideal educational paradigm should cultivate the development of whole individuals intellectually competent, emotionally fulfilled, and morally grounded.
