Abstract

This research deals with an analysis of deixis used by Steve Harvey on YouTube channels based on Yule’s theory. The objectives of this research are to identify the types of deixis used by Steve and the guest on Steve’s TV Show on the YouTube channel video and to identify how the use of deixis affects the meaning of the whole utterances of Steve and the guest. The data of this research is the utterance of Steve and the guest that contains Deixis. In this research, the writer analyzed the deixis found in the videos "Childhood Sweethearts Reunite 50 Years Later" and "15 Years Old Wig Designer Is Changing Lives." The video was taken from Steve TV Show’s YouTube channel. This research used descriptive qualitative research. In this research, the instrument of collecting data is observation and documentation. The result of this research shows that on the “Steve TV Show” YouTube Channel there is a total of 316 deixis. They categorized as person deixis is 231 data, spatial deixis is 47 data, and temporal deixis is 38 data. The use of the deixis in the conversation refers to various references depending on the context of the conversation. Moreover, the use of deixis helps the hearer avoid ambiguity and misunderstanding about the utterance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauhmana peranan Guru PAK dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan agama kristen bagi siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 13 Pematangsiantar. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif, sedangkan analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian hipotesis adalah korelasi product moment pearson dengan alat pengumpulan data adalah angket untuk variabel X (peranan Guru PAK) dan variabel Y (dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan). Untuk mengetahui sejauhmana peranan guru PAK dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan agama kristen bagi siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 13 Pematangsiantar digunakan uji statistik korelasi Product Moment Pearson, dan dari hasil korelasi diperoleh r = 0,61 dengan uji determinasi sebesar 37% dan untuk mengetahui signifikan tidaknya koefisien korelasi pada taraf nyata (?) = 0,05. Maka diadakan uji t dengan kriteria pengujian jika t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel ( 4,49 ) > ( 1,67) pada taraf signifikan 1-0,05 dengan dk = n-2 maka hipotesis di terima. Dengan demikianlah dapat kemukakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang berarti antara peranan guru PAK dengan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan agama kristen bagi siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 13 Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct socialization regarding the introduction and benefits of TOEFL to grade XII students at Teladan High School in Pematang Siantar. This service activity was held a day on December 14, 2023. The implementation was carried out by the lecture and training method. Lectures and training in the form of material delivery on TOEFL and its benefits in the world of education. This research was conducted at Teladan High School Pematang Siantar involving 38 students of class XII MIPA 4. This socialization implementation consisted of three sessions, namely giving pre-test questionnaires about the TOEFL test, lecture sessions or explanations of socialization materials about the TOEFL test, and discussion sessions and giving post-tests to test students' understanding of socialization materials. The results of this socialization activity showed that students who participated in the initial socialization were not familiar with TOEFL and had never heard of it before. However, after gaining knowledge about TOEFL through socialization, their understanding increased and they were very enthusiastic. Post-test results showed a significant improvement until 30% in student scores if compared to pre-test

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the extent of the role of Sidi Catechism in building faith to shape the character of Sidi participants at HKBP Sukadame. The research population was Sidi participants at HKBP Sukadame with a total of 46 people. This research uses a descriptive method while the data analysis used in hypothesis testing is Pearson Product Moment correlation and the data collection tool is a closed questionnaire for variables Pearson Product Moment correlation statistics, and from the correlation results obtained r = 0.372 with a determination test of 13.69% and to determine whether the correlation coefficient is significant at the real level (?) = 0.05. Then a t test is carried out with the testing criterion if tcountgreater than ttable(2.67) > (1.67) at the significance level of 1-0.05 with dk = n-2 then the hypothesis is accepted. In this way, it can be stated that there is a significant relationship between the role of Sidi Catechism in building faith and forming the character of Sidi participants at HKBP Sukadame. Abstract

Masalah yang sering terjadi di dunia pendidikan di wilayah Indonesia seakan-akan tidak ada habisnya. Seperti : perkelahian, tawuran, diskriminasi, fanatik, masih sering ditemukan di wilayah Indonesia. Disamping itu, banyak pihak yang mengatakan pendidikan Agama dan pendidikan multikultural belum tertanam dengan baik di hati para siswa, sehingga siswa melakukan perbuatan yang tidak baik. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, penulis melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana peran pendidikan agama di Indonesia dengan tujuan penelitian: (1) Untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan Pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Multikultural di Indonesia. (2) Untuk meneliti atau mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kegiatan Pendidikan Keagamaan dan Pendidikan Multikultural Indonesia. (3) Untuk mencari model implementasi pendidikan Agama dan Pendidikan Multikultural Indonesia dalam mewujudkan kerukunan antar umat beragama.Penulis dalam riset ini menggunakan metode penelitian Kualitatif. Jenis penelitian Kualitatif yang penulis gunakan adalah Studi Kasus.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara.

Abstract

Perundungan yang terjadi di sekolah merupakan aksi yang meresahkan. Salah satu yang penyebab aksi perundungan adalah kurangnya kontrol diri dalam proses perkembangan anak remaja. Hal ini harus dipahami oleh para remaja dalam pertumbuhannya melalui edukasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat (PkM) Internasional ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang urgensi pengembangan karakter dalam mencegah perundungan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa dari program studi Pendidikan Agama Kristen bersama mahasiswa dari Universitas Ceko. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10-11 Juli 2024 di sekolah menengah tingkat pertama (SMP) Kalam Kudus 1 Medan. Dalam upaya mencegah perundungan di sekolah, maka seluruh pihak harus bersinergi untuk memberikan edukasi tentang dampak perundungan tersebut. Hal ini tidak bisa dibiarkan, karena akan semakin mendorong pelaku untuk melakukan aksinya. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini mahasiswa Universitas Ceko juga memaparkan bahwa diantara negera Hongaria dan Polandia, salah satu negara yang paling rendah tingkat perundungan adalah Republik Ceko. Pemerintah Republik Ceko sangat tanggap dalam upaya menertibkan negara tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah bentuk ceramah, sharing/tanya. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui kegiatan ini adalah siswa dapat memahami dampak negatif perilaku perundungan, sehingga siswa semakin mampu mengontrol diri dan mampu menanamkan sikap saling menerima satu dengan yang lain.

The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation of learning media based on the Canva application increases students' interest in learning in Christian religious learning in Class VIII SMP Marisi Medan with a total of 26 people. This research uses a descriptive method, while the data analysis carried out by hypothesis research is product moment person correlation and the data collection tool is a questionnaire. From the test results, a correlation (r) of 0.63 was obtained with a determination test of 39.69% and to determine whether the correlation coefficient was significant at the real level (a) = 0.05 then a "t" test was conducted with the testing criteria if tcount obtained from the calculation is greater (>) than ttable at a significance level of 1-0.05 with dk= n – 2 then the hypothesis is accepted and in other cases it is rejected. From the test results obtained tcount > ttable (3.98 > 1.71), then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, a significant relationship can be found between the implementation of learning media based on the Canva application in increasing students' interest in learning in class VIII Christian religious education subjects at Marisi Medan Private Middle School. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see how the Giving Question and Getting Answer Learning Model is applied to student learning outcomes in Class VII Christian Religious Education Lessons at Pembangunan Galang Middle School. This type of research is classroom action research with the research population being all class VII students at Galang Development Middle School. Where in this research used cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of research and observations carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that the application of the GQGA learning model in improving student learning outcomes in class VII religion lessons at SMP Pembangunan Galang is said to be successful. The results of the research stated that the application of the GQGA learning model showed an increase in student activity from the learning outcome value data in cycle I. The number of students who completed their studies was 11 people (45.8%) while in cycle II the number of students who completed their studies was 19 students (88 .33%) increased learning outcomes from cycles I and II by 41.6%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan aplikasi media pembelajaran Kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Agama Kristen kelas X SMA Yapim Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa/i kelas X SMA Yapim yang berjumlah 40 orang siswa, dimana dipilih sebagai sampel yaitu: Kelas X.1 sebagai kelas kontrol dimana diajarkan model pembelajaran konversional dan kelas X.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran konvensional dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran Kahoot. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dalam bentuk Multiple choice yang telah dilakukan uji instrumen validitas nya. Setelah dilakukan perlakuan yang berbeda diperoleh nilai rata- rata post- test kelas eksperimen adalah 75,75 dengan standart deviasi 6,93. Dari hasil uji hipotesis dengan α = 0,05 diperoleh˃ (3,75 1,687) sehingga ditolak dan sebaliknya diterima. Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan aplikasi media pembelajaran Kahoot terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Selama proses pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen, dilakukan observasi aktivitas belajar siswa diperoleh nilai akhir dengan kategori sangat baik.
