Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pandemi COVID-19 telah menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan dan dampak negatif bagi perekonomian Indonesia, yang mengakibatkan penurunan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang signifikan pada tahun 2020. Hal ini berdampak terhadap peningkatan kerentanan ekonomi yang mengancam ketahanan ekonomi. Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh penerimaan pajak, suku bunga, harga minyak mentah, harga emas, Indeks Dow Jones, COVID-19, nilai tukar, dan IHSG terhadap ketahanan ekonomi. Selain itu, penelitian ini merumuskan strategi mitigasi kerentanan ekonomi di Indonesia akibat pandemi COVID-19, apakah strategi lockdown tepat untuk diterapkan atau sebaliknya. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi logistik dengan data variabel harian dari Maret-Desember 2020. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerimaan pajak di masa pandemi COVID-19, suku bunga di masa pandemi COVID-19, harga minyak mentah, Indeks Dow Jones, dan IHSG berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketahanan ekonomi. Pada saat tidak dilakukan intervensi kebijakan, ketahanan ekonomi pada kondisi ideal lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kondisi normal dan kondisi sulit. Strategi kebijakan untuk memitigasi kerentanan ekonomi pada masa pandemi COVID-19 adalah menjaga penerimaan pajak tidak turun serta menurunkan suku bunga dan kasus COVID-19 secara simultan sehingga kebijakan full lockdown tidak tepat digunakan. Kesimpulan: Implikasi kebijakan untuk menjaga penerimaan pajak tidak turun dapat dijalankan melalui: penetapan prioritas perpajakan, perluasan basis perpajakan, peningkatan kepatuhan dan pengawasan, optimalisasi implementasi peraturan perpajakan, dan insentif pajak. Implikasi kebijakan untuk menurunkan suku bunga adalah mendorong Bank Indonesia agar menurunkan suku bunga IndONIA di pasar uang antar bank. Implikasi kebijakan untuk menurunkan kasus COVID-19 dapat dijalankan melalui: ketegasan dan konsistensi pembatasan sosial, peningkatan kegiatan pemeriksaan, pelacakan, dan perawatan, peningkatan sosialisasi dan penegakan hukum, serta percepatan vaksinasi.

Abstract

The integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts across various academic fields has attracted significant scholarly attention, particularly regarding its application in the realm of Islamic communication. This conceptual paper explores the potential of STEM as a framework for advancing communication strategies within Islamic contexts. It begins by defining Islamic communication, which involves the dissemination of Islamic values and teachings through diverse communication mediums. The paper then investigates how the interdisciplinary nature of STEM emphasizing problem-solving, innovation, and technology can enhance and refine communication practices within the Islamic world. Drawing from existing literature in both Islamic studies and STEM education, this paper examines how STEM principles can provide novel perspectives for improving the effectiveness of Islamic messaging, addressing contemporary challenges in media, and fostering digital literacy among Muslim communities. Furthermore, the paper explores the role of STEM in the development of innovative communication tools and platforms that align with Islamic ethical values while engaging effectively with modern audiences. Through a conceptual framework, this research aims to propose pathways for integrating STEM into Islamic communication practices, suggesting strategies to expand the reach and impact of Islamic messages in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The paper concludes by identifying potential directions for future research, particularly in exploring the practical applications of STEM in Islamic communication, and its implications for Islamic scholars and communication professionals.

Abstract

Globalization has not only had a positive impact on tolerance, but also a negative one. The pilot project for the launch of the Pancasila Village is one effort to develop community tolerance. This study has three objectives: (1) to determine the implementation model for the Pancasila Village pilot project in developing community tolerance, (2) to identify the reasons why the launch of the Pancasila Village is appropriate at this time, and (3) to determine the extent of community participation in ensuring the success of Pancasila Village programs. This community service activity was carried out through methods of outreach, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, and program sustainability. The study concluded that, first, the implementation model for the Pancasila Village pilot project in developing community tolerance involved both physical and non-physical activities. Physical activities included installing street signs, displaying the national emblem on each house, and naming the Ngemplak Village field as the Pancasila Village Field. Non-physical activities included focus group discussions (FGDs), outreach, outreach, and so on. Second, the rationale for declaring Ngemplak Village a Pancasila Village is appropriate at this time because of the deviant behaviors and inferiority complexes resulting from globalization. Third, community participation in the success of the Pancasila Village, in efforts to develop societal tolerance, is significant and urgent.

Abstract

The tea plant (Camellia sinensis L.) is renowned for its medicinal benefits, largely attributed to its secondary metabolites, which demonstrate significant antioxidant potential. This study focused on evaluating the antioxidant activity of green tea extract and determining the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of sunscreen formulations containing the extract. The green tea was extracted using a combined Pulsed Electric Field- Microwave-Ultrasonic Assisted Extraction (PEF-MUAE) with distilled water as the solvent. The obtained extract underwent phytochemical analysis and SPF assessment. Various sunscreen formulations were tested for washability, total phenolic content, antioxidant activity, and SPF. The antioxidant activity and total phenolic content of the cream were measured using UV-Vis spectrophotometry, while SPF values were determined with UV-DRS spectrophotometry. The first formulation (F0) consisted of only the cream base, made without green tea extract or TiO₂. The second formulation (F1) was made with TiO₂ but without the extract. The third formulation (F2) contained the extract without TiO₂. Finally, the last formulation (F3) included both green tea extract and TiO₂. The extraction method produced a yield of 38.8%, with all cream formulations exhibiting ease of washability. The antioxidant activity of F0, F1, F2, and F3 was measured at 30.977, 32.866, 34.661, and 28.172 ppm. The total phenolic content and SPF values for the various cream formulations (F0, F1, F2, and F3) were 156.506 ± 10.824, 266.391 ± 33.760, 604.978 ± 22.815, and 680.873 ± 25.881 mg GAE/g for total phenolics, and 14.647, 22.656, 55.136, and 62.935 for SPF values.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menemukan model penerapan pemberdayaan perempuan dalam pengelolaan UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah) sebagai sarana mewujudkan asta cita kedua, ketiga, dan keempat menuju Indonesia Emas 2045; 2) mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan kurang berkembangnya UMKM di Desa Bolon; 3) menemukan solusi-solusi apa saja yang dapat dilakukan guna mengembangkan UMKM di Desa Bolon, Colomadu, Karanganyar; dan 4) menemukan model pemberdayaan perempuan dalam pengelolaan UMKM untuk mewujudkan asta cita menuju Indonesia emas 2045. Metode pengabdian yang dipakai adalah dengan menggunakan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang berorientasi pada pemberdayaan masyarakat. Karena pemberdayaan harus selalu memenuhi kebutuhan dan penyelesaian masalah yang ada di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Pemberdayaan kaum perempuan dalam pengelolaan. UMKM ini menunjukkan adanya kesetaraan gender. Banyak kegiatan atau pekerjaan yang bisa dilakukan oleh ibu-ibu atau kaum perempuan yang tidak kalah dilakukan oleh kaum laki-laki karena sifat pekerjaan itu yang membutuhkan ketekunan, ketelitian, dan sebagainya. Dengan tumbuh dan berkembangnya UMKM-UMKM maka membuka lapangan pekerjaan baru yang bisa mengatasi pengangguran di desa Bolon, Colomadu, Karanganya. Hal ini akan berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan ekonomi desa, meningkatkan taraf hidup warga sekitar sehingga bisa mengatasi perekonomian yang mereka hadapi.

Abstract

Pecahan merupakan salah satu topik matematika yang hampir selalu menjadi masalah bagi siswa sekolah dasar (SD). Masalah tersebut muncul karena umumnya siswa tidak memahami konsep pecahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain (design research) yang dirancang untuk memberikan suatu pertimbangan yang baik terhadap proses pembelajaran operasi pecahan melalui dugaan-dugaan yang dibangun dalam kerangka analisis hypotetical learning trajectory (HLT) yang kemudian diujicobakan dalam pembelajaran matematika realistik (PMR). PMR mendasari dari seluruh kegiatan penelitian desain riset. Hasil penelitian ini tergambar dari teori instruksional lokal (local instructional theory). Design research dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu desain pendahuluan, percobaan mengajar yang terdiri siklus 1 dan siklus 2, dan tahap ketiga analisis retrospektif. Penelitian melibatkan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 29 siswa kelas V di SDI Nurul Hasanah yang terdiri 4 orang siswa pada siklus satu dan 25 siswa pada siklus kedua. Hasil penelitian dapat menunjukan bahwa serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran dengan PMR dapat membawa siswa dari situasi konkret menuju situasi yang lebih formal. Siswa mampu mengerjakan bilangan pecahan dari bentuk kontektual dengan disertai alasan.

Abstract

Di abad ke-21, pendidikan Sains, Teknologi, Teknik, dan Matematika (STEM) memainkan peran penting dalam membangun tenaga kerja yang kuat untuk era digital. Bidang STEM sangat penting untuk inovasi, pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan daya saing global. Namun, ada kekurangan tenaga profesional terampil di bidang STEM, yang merupakan tantangan besar bagi bisnis dan industri. Era digital telah mengantarkan teknologi baru dan tuntutan akan pekerja terampil dengan pengetahuan dan keahlian mutakhir. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk mempromosikan pendidikan STEM dan mendorong siswa untuk mengejar karir STEM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang melibatkan empat dosen dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara wawancara. Hasil penelitian dapat dicapai dengan menyediakan pendidikan STEM berkualitas tinggi, menyempurnakan kurikulum, melibatkan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran langsung, dan mengembangkan kemitraan antara industri dan akademisi. Kesimpulannya, berinvestasi dalam pendidikan STEM sangat penting untuk membangun tenaga kerja yang lebih kuat di era digital dan memastikan bahwa individu dan komunitas berkembang dalam ekonomi abad ke-21. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti meningkatnya permintaan akan tenaga kerja STEM yang kuat di era digital, menekankan kebutuhan untuk memprioritaskan prakarsa pendidikan dan pelatihan STEM. Pembuat kebijakan harus mengalokasikan sumber daya untuk meningkatkan kurikulum STEM, mempromosikan pengalaman belajar langsung, dan mendorong kolaborasi antara lembaga pendidikan dan mitra industri. Selain itu, pendidik harus fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan literasi digital di kalangan siswa untuk mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi pasar kerja yang berkembang. Perusahaan harus berpartisipasi aktif dalam membentuk program pendidikan STEM, menyediakan magang, dan peluang bimbingan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan keterampilan dan menumbuhkan tenaga kerja yang sangat terampil. Penelitian mungkin mengandalkan ukuran sampel yang terbatas atau wilayah geografis tertentu, yang dapat mempengaruhi generalisasi temuan. Selain itu, fokus studi pada tenaga kerja era digital mungkin mengabaikan sektor penting lainnya atau kemajuan teknologi di masa depan. Selain itu, penelitian tidak mempertimbangkan pengaruh perbedaan budaya, sosial ekonomi, dan gender pada pendidikan STEM dan pengembangan tenaga kerja. Studi masa depan harus bertujuan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan. In the 21st century, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education is critical in building a strong workforce for the digital age. The STEM field is crucial to innovation, economic growth, and global competitiveness. However, a shortage of skilled professionals in the STEM field is a massive challenge for business and industry. The digital era has ushered in new technologies and demands for skilled workers with up-to-date knowledge and expertise. Therefore, promoting STEM education and encouraging students to pursue STEM careers is imperative. This study used a qualitative method involving four lecturers with interview data collection techniques. Research outcomes can be achieved by providing high-quality STEM education, enhancing curricula, engaging students in hands-on learning activities, and developing partnerships between industry and academia. In conclusion, investing in STEM education is critical to building a more robust workforce in the digital age and ensuring that individuals and communities thrive in the 21st-century economy. The implications of this research highlight the growing demand for a strong STEM workforce in the digital age, emphasizing the need to prioritize STEM education and training initiatives. Policymakers should allocate resources to improve STEM curricula, promote hands-on learning experiences, and encourage collaboration between educational institutions and industry partners. In addition, educators should focus on developing critical thinking, problem-solving and digital literacy skills among students to prepare them for the evolving job market. Companies should actively participate in establishing STEM education programs, providing internships and mentorship opportunities to bridge skills gaps and cultivate a highly skilled workforce. Studies may rely on limited sample sizes or specific geographic areas, which can affect the generalizability of the findings. In addition, the focus of studies on the digital age workforce may need to pay more attention to other essential sectors or future technological advances. In addition, the research does not consider the influence of cultural, socioeconomic, and gender differences on STEM education and workforce development. Future studies should aim to overcome the limitations.

Abstract

Mashlahah murlah is something that is good according to reason with the aim of realizing benefit or avoiding harm for human survival. This research aims to: Find out the rice import policy in Indonesia, the impact of rice imports on farmers, find out the form of farmer protection regarding the rice import policy from a mashlahah murlah perspective. This type of research is normative juridical with a conceptual approach and statute approach. The nature of this research is descriptive analysis. The data is processed and analyzed using qualitative methods. The results of the research provide an answer, namely: The policy of importing rice on a large scale from the beginning of 2021 to 2023 and even now is not appropriate because it causes greater harm, especially for farmers. on rice imports, as well as causing a decrease in farmers' income and disrupting the ideals of food sovereignty in Indonesia, the rice import policy from the Mashlahah Murlah perspective on farmer protection actually creates legal protection which must prioritize the welfare of farmers and society, helping farmers increase their income and quality of life in order to create food sovereignty in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kontrak baku/ kontrak standar adalah kontrak yang isinya sepihak ditentukan sepihak yang memiliki posisi yang lebih kuat. Polisi pelaku usaha lebih kuat dibandingkan konsumen. KLasul baku ditentukan dalam Pasal 18 UUPK, Dalam praktek ditemukan pelanggaran pengunaan kontak baku, . yang melatar belakangi penulis menulis artikel “Pelanggaran pengunaan kontrak baku dalam transaksi bisnis”. Rumusan masalah, apa bentuk pelanggaran kontrak baku dalam kegiatan bisnis dan bagaimana bentuk pertanggung jawaban pelaku usaha. Metode penelitian mengunakan penelitian kepustakaan mengunakan data sekunder terdiri dari hukum primer, bahan hukum sekunder. Data sekunder hasil penelitian kepustakaan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Kesimpulan, bentuk pelanggaran dalam kontak baku pelaku usaha menolak resiko, menolak pengembalian barang dan uang yang dibayar, tulisan kecil kecil sulit dibaca dan dipahami. Pelaku usaha bertanggung jawab atas kerugian yang dialami konsumen berdasarkan tanggung jawab produk, tanggung jawab konstruktual berdasarlan wanprestasi, perbuatan melanggar hukum. Penyelesaiannya dapat dilakukan diluar pengadilan atau di pengadilan. Saran, konsumen sebelum menanda tangani kontrak baku untuk membaca dengan teliti, cermat, hati hati dan aktif bertanya kepada pelaku usaha.

Abstract

The study investigated how the Read, Answer, Discuss, Evaluate, and Create (RADEC) learning model affects sixth-grade students’ higher-order thinking skills at SD Al Husna in Tangerang City. Using a quantitative method, The study used a quasi-experimental design with a control group that was established pre-test–post-test. Through a saturated sampling approach, every student in the sixth grade was included as part of the study. The experimental group, Class VI A with 18 students, received instruction through the RADEC model, whereas the control group, Class VI B with 23 students, was taught using conventional methods. Students’ higher-order thinking skills were evaluated through a written assessment comprising nine essay questions. A t-test was used to analyze the data. As indicated by a t-value of 0.994, which was less than the t-table value of 2.022, the pre-test results showed no discernible variations in the starting abilities of the two groups. In contrast, post-test results indicated a t-value of 2.617, surpassing the t-table value and demonstrating that the experimental group's progress was noticeably higher than the control group's. These results suggest that the RADEC learning model offers more advantages than traditional teaching in fostering critical, analytical, and creative thinking. As such, RADEC presents itself as an effective instructional substitute for enhancing higher-order cognitive abilities in elementary education, encouraging students to become more reflective and self-directed learners.
