Abstract

This study addresses the critical need for cost-effective, earth-abundant alternatives to Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) by developing transparent and conductive Copper Stannate (CuSnO₃) thin films via sol-gel dip-coating. Using diethanolamine (DEA) and monoethanolamine (MEA) as chelating agents to enhance film stability and uniformity, the synthesized films were calcined at 550 °C, yielding predominantly amorphous structures that minimize grain boundary recombination. Characterization revealed crack-free morphologies with a thickness of approximately 1.88 μm, while optical analysis showed band gap energies ranging from 2.16 eV (DEA) to 2.31 eV (MEA), suitable for visible-light absorption. Electrical measurements indicated significant improvements in conductivity, with MEA-modified films achieving 173.58 S/m and DEA-modified films reaching 3600 S/m.When used as photoelectrodes in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs) with natural sensitizers, the films demonstrated successful photovoltaic performance, with Quercetin yielding the highest power conversion efficiency of 0.26%, thereby validating solution-processed amorphous CuSnO₃ as a viable, low-cost material for scalable optoelectronic applications.

Abstract

Tropical cyclones in the Southern Indian Ocean pose severe threats to coastal infrastructure and socio-economic stability, yet predicting their recurving trajectories and intensity remains a significant meteorological challenge. This study evaluates the performance of a particle-motion-based machine learning framework, utilizing the Trackpy library, to forecast cyclone behavior. Leveraging historical data from 2018 to 2025 (JTWC and IBTrACS), the model treats cyclones as physical particles with temporal inertia, employing a multi-lag feature to capture movement momentum. Evaluation using a dataset of 115 cyclones (78:22 train/test ratio) reveals that the Trackpy framework achieves high spatial precision, with Mean Squared Error (MSE) values of 0.1728 for latitude (±33.3 km) and 1.0250 for longitude (±53.2 km). While the intensity prediction yielded a higher MSE of 47.7544 (approximately 6.9-knot deviation), the model successfully captured major strengthening and weakening phases across prominent cyclones, including TC Wallace and TC Neville. These findings demonstrate that integrating temporal inertia is highly effective for maintaining trajectory consistency, establishing Trackpy as a robust architectural foundation for operational forecasting. Further optimization via hybrid models and additional meteorological variables is recommended to enhance intensity accuracy.

Abstract

The PBL model has relevance and potential in developing 21st-century skills. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method to identify PBL research trends in science courses at universities. A literature search using the app Publish or Perish with the Scopus database and data from journals indexed by SINTA (Science and Technology Index) in the last 10 years, from 2012 to 2021. In this study, there are 32 articles about PBL research in science lectures, including physics, chemistry, biology, and natural science.  The trend seen is a rise in publications addressing various facets of critical thinking abilities. Among research publications, quantitative research is the most common type. Quasi-Experimental designs are most often chosen by researchers, while RD designs are still little used. Chemistry is a subject that is most often chosen as a research subject. Meanwhile, the test is the most commonly used instrument for collecting data on 21st-century student skills

Abstract

Infusion is one of the most frequently used medical mechanisms as a therapeutic. The volume of infusion fluid, when not monitored regularly, can harm the patient. When the infusion fluid has run out and is not immediately replaced, the air will enter the blood vessels. Infusion monitoring in Indonesia is still done manually. Previous research has developed an infusion monitoring device using Arduino however, this device generally lacks remote monitoring capabilities, thus tending to use microcontrollers inefficiently. To address these issues, an Infusion monitoring system was designed using the NodeMCU ESP8266. This device reads the number of infusion fluid drops using an Optocoupler sensor, and a Load cell sensor measures the percentage of remaining fluid. Measurement results can be detected easily and quickly via a smartphone. The innovation in this system lies in the Internet of Things (IoT), which enables remote control. The research conducted was to determine the design specifications and performance specifications of the device. This can be seen from the results of the device design specifications, namely the average accuracy of the infusion rate of the number of drops/minute is 98.89% with an average accuracy of 98%, while the average accuracy of the remaining infusion fluid percentage is 96.8% with an average accuracy of 98%. This system offers an efficient and controlled solution for combining infusion fluids. By integrating IoT technology, this research paves the way for the development of more advanced infusion monitoring systems, supporting improved patient care in the era of global healthcare

Abstract

Standard competency of graduate students of class XI in Physics learning is considered not optimal. One of the contributing factors is the unavailability of the Physics E-Module, which contains model steps and is integrated with a learning approach in order to direct students in active learning. This study aims to produce a Physics E-Module based on an integrated project-based learning model with an Ethno-STEM approach on smartphones for class XI high school students with valid, practical, and effective criteria. This is development research using the Plomp development model consisting of three stages: Preliminary Research, Development or Prototyping Phase, and Assessment Phase. The instruments used in this research include three questionnaires for preliminary study, validity and practicality, attitude observation sheets, written test sheets, and skills assessment sheets. The result obtained was a Physics E-Module based on an integrated project-based learning model with the Ethno-STEM approach on smartphones for class XI high school students who meet valid, practical, and effective criteria.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam ilmu keolahragaan merupakan sesuatu hal yang wajib diperhatikan oleh setiap praktisi serta akademisi keloahragaan. Pengukuran merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam setiap tahapan pembinaan olahraga. dalam pengukuran, pemanfaatan teknologi sangat dianjurkan dalam mencapai validitas data yang akurat dan tepat. selain itu, pelaksanaan tes harus pula dilakukan sesuai prosesur dan ketentuan yang terstandar, dan ini memerlukan tenaga ahli dan berpengalaman serta tersertfikasi. Hirilisasi hasil penelitian diharapkan mampu memberikan berbagai manfaat dan menjadi salah satu asset yang dapat digunakan Perguruan tinggi dalam hal pendapatan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mengembangkan sebuah pusar layanan tes dan pengukuran kondisi fisik yang diharapkan mampu memberikan sumbangan nyata pada masyarakat dalam hal pemanfaatan teknologi keolahragaan. Selain itu, Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satu sector yang dapat memberikan pendapatan bagi PT. Produk yang ditawarkan dalam program ini adalah Penyewaan alat-alat keolahragaan, pelayanan tes dan pengkuruan keolahragaan dan penjualan produk-produk hasil penelitian dosen yang berkaitan produk inovasi keolahragaan. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pola Kerjasama dan pola penjulaan langsung dan tidak langsung. Indikator keberhasilan dilihat dari pemasukan yang diperoleh selama 1 tahun pelaksanaan yang dilihat dan dilaporkan pertriwulan. BErdasarkan evaluasi serta perhitungan clasflow, diketahui program telah berhasil memperoleh benefit sesuai dengan prediksi.

Abstract

Indonesia's. STEM education is one method that may help students succeed in the modern world. This study set out to assess the quality of prior work that looked at how STEM education affected students' capacity for critical thinking. Level of education and learning model were the moderators taken into account in this research. In order to get quantitative data, the researchers used meta-analysis to determine the impact size of each study that was relevant. Journals acknowledged with an ISSN between 2020 and 2025 were the criterion used to look for national and international journals that have been researched by previous researchers. According to the impact size study of STEM education on students' critical thinking abilities, which was conducted across all educational levels and models, the findings were in the high category. This suggests that students' critical thinking abilities may be enhanced across all educational levels via the use of the STEM method in the classroom.
