Abstract

Meskipun konsep HOTS menekankan kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan penciptaan, namun pada kenyataannya masih banyak peserta didik yang hanya menerima informasi dari pendidik tanpa melibatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau kolaborasi antar sesama peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap higher order thinking skills (HOTS) peserta didik melalui diimplementasikannya model pembelajaran search solve create and share (SSCS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen. Terdapat dua kelas pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran SSCS dan kelas kontrol yang diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas X7 dan X8. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes untuk mengetahui HOTS peserta didik. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil yaitu sig. 0.000 < 0.05 oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengimplementasian model pembelajaran SSCS berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan nilai HOTS peserta didik secara signifikan.

Abstract

One of the elements contributing to teenagers' moral deterioration is technological advancements in the digital era that are not aligned with their moral progress. This study aims to discover the moral issues of teenagers in the digital age, the concept of morality in Islam, and moral teaching from the perspective of Islamic education. This study employed library research with a descriptive-analytic approach. The study findings indicate that the sophistication of digital technology has negative consequences for teenagers, pushing them further away from religious ideals. The purpose of moral education in Islamic education for teenagers is to live according to Allah's commands and carry out their duties as servants of Allah and His representatives on earth. As a result, Islamic education is inextricably linked to efforts to instill Islamic educational values, including moral values known as akhlak.

Abstract

The current post-pandemic period has a significant impact on learning, particularly in Islamic religious education subjects. As a result, many students are less focused on attending lessons, their learning motivation and participation levels are decreasing, and their social intelligence is low because they are used to online learning, which has few face-to-face meetings. They are unable to adapt to the transition from previously online to hybrid learning methods. This study aimed to discover the Islamic religious education teachers' strategies for fostering and actualizing students' social intelligence in the post-pandemic period at MA AL-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The research method employed was qualitative field research. The data collection techniques employed were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Triangulation can be used to validate the data. The research findings revealed that in order to develop and actualize students' social intelligence, teachers employed cooperative and affective learning strategies that are implemented in four areas: methods, media, learning materials, and learning evaluation. Finally, fostering and actualizing students' social intelligence necessitates creative and innovative strategies to ensure proper development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the optimization of digital literacy as an effort to build the character of the digital generation in line with values in Islamic education. The study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Data were collected from various references related to the digital generation, digital literacy, character education, and Islamic education. The findings indicate that optimizing digital literacy integrated with Islamic character education values has significant potential in cultivating the character of the digital generation to be wise and ethical in utilizing technology and digital information. The implementation of digital literacy strategies in online learning, parental supervision, and social media campaigns is key to the success of character building for the digital generation in the current all-digital era. This research is expected to provide theoretical and practical contributions to educators, parents, and policymakers in building the character of the Indonesian digital generation, aiming for them to grow into a resilient and morally upright golden generation in 2045.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah upaya yang direncanakan untuk menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang mendukung suasana belajar, hal ini memungkinkan peserta didik untuk secara aktif mengembangkan berbagai potensi mencakup kekuatan mental, kontrol diri, kecerdasan, kepribadian, moralitas, serta pengetahuan umum dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh diri mereka sendiri ataupun komunitas mereka sesuai dengan dasar hukum. Kualitas pendidikan Indonesia masih rendah di tingkat global, berdasarkan data populasi dunia pada tahun 2021. Indonesia mewakili 54 dari 78 negara. Negara -negara Asia Tenggara seperti Singapura, Malaysia dan Thailand sangat baik. Sementara itu, 10 negara dengan sistem pendidikan terbaik adalah Amerika Serikat, Inggris, Jerman, Kanada, Prancis, Swiss, Jepang, Australia, Swedia, dan Belanda. Kualitas pendidikan yang buruk di Indonesia disebabkan oleh berbagai masalah, termasuk fasilitas fisik yang rendah, kualitas dan dukungan guru, layanan siswa, pelatihan yang adil, relevansi pendidikan, dan biaya Pendidikan. Minat memainkan peran penting dalam belajar karena motivasi siswa menurun tanpa minat.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk menganalisis eksperimentasi model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik terhadap mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental. Dalam penelitian ini, kelas VIII.11 ditetapkan sebagai kelas eksperimen, sementara kelas VIII.3 berfungsi sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,200 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,067 untuk kelas kontrol, yang berarti data terdistribusi normal. Sementara itu, uji homogenitas menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,885, yang menunjukkan bahwa data bersifat homogen. Berdasarkan hasil uji t, diperoleh nilai signifikansi (sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,001. Karena nilai ini lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka H0 ditolak, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan model PjBL terhadap peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik. Pendekatan yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL untuk mengukur minat belajar siswa, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran PAI. Implikasi penelitian ini untuk berkontribusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan, terutama dalam memahami pengaruh PjBL terhadap minat belajar siswa dalam PAI, yang hingga kini masih jarang menjadi fokus penelitian.

Abstract

This article aims to revisit the ancient manuscript titled ‘Risalah Perhiasan bagi Anak-anak Perempuan’ from the 20th century Lingga=Riau Sultanate. The Manuscript contains teachings on ethics and morals for women, especially those who have reached puberty or adolescent age, which are reinforced with verses from the Qur’an. This research employs historical methods with four stages: Heuristics, Source criticism, Interpertation, and historiography. The primary source used is the ancient manuscript ‘Risalah perhiasan Perempuan pada Anak-anak Perempuan’ obtained throught the british library website. The findings of this study reveal that the manuscript, originating from the Lingga-Riau Sultanate, discusses not only how women adom themselves with jewelry, but also emphasizes that jewelry signifies more than wealth; it pertains to behavior, morality, and women’s obedience to Allah SWT. in addition, the manuscript serves as a medium for moral and spiritual education for women in shaping an Islamic character for the Riau communitu to this day. Therefore, it is quite natural that Riau is one of the regions in Indonesia tat still strongly adheres to malay culture. The studi of this manuscript is importans to understand women in Malay culture and the formation of women’s indentity, aswell as how Islmic values are internalized daily life through traditional literary works. Key word: manuscript, Culture heritage of the Malay, Sultanate of Lingga-Riau.   Abstrak:  Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji naskah kuno yang berjudul “Risalah Perhiasan bagi Anak-anak Perempuan” pada masa Kesultanan Lingga-Riau abad ke-20. Naskah tersebut memuat ajaran tentang etika dan moral bagi perempuan khususnya yang telah memasuki usia baligh atau remaja yang dikuatkan dengan dalil-dalil al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dengan empat tahapan. Yaitu Heuristik, Kritik Sumber, Interprestasi, dan Historiografi. Sumber primer yang digunakan adalah Naskah kuno “Risalah Perhiasan Perempuan pada anak Perempuan” yang didapat melalui website British Library. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pada naskah yang berasal dari sebuah Kesultanan Lingga-Riau ini tidak hanya membahas mengenai bagaimana perempuan dalam mengenakan perhiasan, perhiasan tidak hanya bermakna sebagai sebuah harta melainkan mengenai perilaku, akhlak dan ketaatan peremuan kepada Allah SWT. selain itu, naskah tersebut berperan sebagai media pendidikan moral dan spiritual bagi perempuan dalam membentuk karakter Islami bagi masyarakat Riau hingga saat ini. Sehingga wajar sekali jika Riau adalah salah satu wilayah Indonesia yang masih sangat kental dengan budaya Melayu. Kajian terhadap naskah ini menjadi penting untuk memahami perempuan dalam budaya melayu dan pembentukan identitas perempuan serta bagaimana nilai-nilai keislaman diinteralisasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari melalui karya sastra tradisional. Abstract

This article discusses the role of the Fourth Division of the Indonesian Navy in maintaining Indonesian independence during the physical revolution (1945–1949), particularly in the South Kalimantan region. The writing uses historical methods that include heuristic stages, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography to construct a structured national historical narrative. The results of the study show that the Indonesian Navy made significant contributions through naval operations, resistance coordination, and efforts to secure Kalimantan's territorial waters. Despite facing limited weaponry and a Dutch naval blockade, the Fourth Division of the Indonesian Navy was still able to carry out its role as a maritime defense fortress and a symbol of resistance against colonialism. The success of their operations not only maintained territorial integrity but also strengthened the de facto legitimacy of the Republic of Indonesia in the region. This study contributes to filling the gap in the history of the revolution in South Kalimantan with a maritime history approach.

Abstract

This study examines the mobilization of youth in South Sumatra through the formation of Gyugun during the Japanese occupation from 1942 to 1945. It aims to explain the strategic reasons behind Japan’s decision to designate South Sumatra as a defense base, analyze the mechanisms of youth mobilization, and identify its impact on national consciousness and the formation of Indonesia’s military forces. The research employs the historical method, including the stages of heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Primary sources consist of the newspaper “Kita Sumatora Shinbun” (1944) and combined with supporting secondary sources in the form of two books authored by Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara. The findings indicate that South Sumatra held strategic importance due to its geographical location and petroleum resources, which were vital to Japanese military operations. Youth mobilization was carried out through propaganda, selective recruitment, and intensive military training in Pagar Alam, Karang Dalo, and Palembang under strict Bushido discipline. However, this policy proved paradoxical, as Gyugun training intended to produce loyal defense units instead fostered national awareness, covert resistance, and laid the foundation for the establishment of the BKR, TKR, and ultimately the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). The study concludes that Gyugun mobilization exhibited a dual character: while strengthening Japanese control, it simultaneously served as an incubator of nationalism that gave rise to Indonesia’s national military forces.

Abstract

This study examines the political career of Maria Ullfah from 1934 to 1947, as well as the influence of her family and education on the formation of her political consciousness. Born into an educated priyayi family, Maria Ullfah had access to extensive formal education from an early age, eventually pursuing legal studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Growing up in a family environment closely connected to intellectual traditions and the colonial bureaucracy, combined with her experiences witnessing injustices against women, nurtured her social sensitivity and early commitment to gender equality. Her Western education and interactions with figures of the national movement, such as Sutan Sjahrir, further strengthened her awareness as part of a colonized nation in need of change. Upon returning to Indonesia, she actively participated in women’s organizations, educational institutions, and the national movement, playing a key role in the Indonesian Women’s Congress, KOWANI, and literacy eradication efforts. During the revolutionary period, her intellectual capacity and dedication led to her being appointed a member of the BPUPKI and later becoming the first female Minister of Social Affairs. Her contributions not only opened public spaces for women but also played a significant role in the political processes leading to the establishment of the Indonesian state. This study demonstrates that family background, education, and personal experiences were significant factors in shaping Maria Ullfah as a central figure in the women’s movement and the struggle for independence.
