Abstract

The creative process in formulating the background concept of work carried out by an artist with various new and unique works sometimes gets less appreciation, even though there are many new ideas that need more attention. This study examined the motivation and creative process of Nanang Garuda in creating Wayang Pulau (a traditional puppet from Indonesia). The research approach used descriptive qualitative methods in the form of field research at the Garuda House Museum. Data collection used observation, interviews, documentation and recording. The validity technique used triangulation of data sources. Data analysis used data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of the study are as follows. First, Nanang Garuda always creates unique works. His work motivation is his love for Garuda bird with the vision and mission of reviving and rebranding the Garuda which is currently being forgotten by many Indonesians. The stages of the creative process carried out by Nanang Garuda are in the form of preparing to collect information on various problems regarding Indonesianness. The incubation of ideas is done by looking for answers based on Googling and books. The illumination stage is carried out by visualizing the idea into a work. Lastly, the verification stage is done by evaluating each completion of the work and at the end of the wayang show. The researcher's suggestion is that Nanang Garuda's hard work and dedication should always be used as an example of enthusiasm in spurring work. Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah bagaimana pelaksanaan dan bagaimana hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran apresiasi melalui pendekatan kritik Wachowiak dan Clement menggunakan media pembelajaran Kokami Batik Grobogan pada siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 1 Godong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan dilaksanakan melalui pengamatan terkendali. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, Kokami Batik Grobogan terdiri dari kotak, amplop dan kartu apresiasi. Selain itu juga dibuat buku pedoman apresiasi. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran terdiri dari pengamatan terkendali 1 dan pengamatan terkendali 2. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran diawali dengan memberi penjelasan materi pembelajaran kemudian mendiskusikan pertanyaan evaluasi kelompok pada kartu apresiasi secara berkelompok yang kemudian dipresentasikan hasilnya di depan kelas dan ditutup dengan penarikan kesimpulan hasil pembelajaran serta setelahnya memberikan soal evaluasi individu. Kedua, apresiasi siswa tumbuh dan meningkat selama pembelajaran. Terbukti dengan tumbuhnya apresiasi siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dan hasil nilai rata – rata evaluasi diskusi kelompok dan evaluasi individu yang meningkat. Saran yang diberikan seharusnya guru dilatih dalam memberikan pemahaman tentang materi apresiasi dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Sehingga pembelajaran seni rupa tidak hanya terpaku pada kegatan praktik dan penugasan saja sehingga tidak membosankan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan eksplorasi motif batik kontemporer pada Rumah Batik Wardi; bentuk motif batik kontemporer hasil eksplorasi pada Rumah Batik Wardi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, perekaman, wawancara dan studi data dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rumah Batik Wardi mengembangkan berbagai motif batik kontemporer dengan basis unggulan dan kearifan lokal. Bentuk yang dieksplorasi sebagai motif batik kontemporer merupakan berbagai hal yang menjadi ciri khas Kabupaten Purbalingga. Motif-motif tersebut meliputi motif flora, fauna, lingkungan alam dan motif batik klasik.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the meaning of music notation writing of gitar tunggal Lampung Pesisir written by Imam Rozali. Imam is a gitar tunggal player who wrote his technique and playing style in notation symbols. This article uses a case study research design with pattern matching techniques (Yin, 2018). Data were collected through observation, interviews, document analysis, and audio recordings.  A series of tests were carried out on the notation and other supporting information to improve the validity of the data.  Laboratory analysis was carried out to describe signs, interpret symbols, and compare Western musical notation. As a result, (1) the music notation written by Imam Rozali is a musical expression used as a medium for remembering; (2) the writing of Imam Rozali’s musical notation constructs his musical identity as a Gitar tunggal Lampung Pesisir player; (3) Imam Rozali’s music notation symbolizes an indigenous style which has its concept of gitar tunggal music; (4) Imam Rozali tries to add value to his musical identity among gitar tunggal players because the notation is a symbol of intellectuality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of garap on music accompaniment of Rejung Rasan-Dirasan in Musi Rawas Regency. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection used: (1) recording technique, both audio and audiovisual; (2) notes; (3) in-depth interviews with some informants; (4) literature study and documentation analysis. The primary data source analyzed was Cikwan as the speaker and some of the public figures in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. The study results show that the garap form of oral-literary is different from the music structure of Javanese gamelan tradition in general. It submits to the techniques of Rejung Rasan-Dirasan in Musi Rawas Regency. ------- This study aims to describe the form of working on the musical accompaniment of Rejung Rasan-Drasan in Musi Rawas Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study used: (1) recording techniques, both audio and audiovisual, (2) recording, (3) in-depth interviews, (4) literature study and documentation analysis. The main data sources analyzed were Cikwan as a speaker and several community leaders in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. The results of this study indicate that the form of working on the oral literary art of Rejung Rasan-Dirasan is out of the structure of the rules of Javanese gamelan music which is certainly different from the structure of Javanese music in general but is subject to the technique in the musical Rejung Rasan-Drasan in Musi Rawas Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the strategy of learning western music based on Microsoft Team and YouTube Post-pandemic media in class XI of SMA N 1 Gubug, Grobogan Regency. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The data in this study are descriptions of online western music learning strategies using Microsoft Team and YouTube obtained through interviews and observations as the main data and documentation as supporting data, with the research subjects being principals, music teachers and student representatives. After collecting data, qualitative data analysis was then carried out. The results of the study show that the learning of western music based on Microsoft Team and YouTube media has been carried out starting in the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. The media was used by music teachers to provide post-pandemic western music materials. The media used is adjusted to the teaching material, namely in the form of displaying modules, videos, word files uploaded in Microsoft Teams. Music assessment carried out includes three aspects, namely the assessment of attitudes, knowledge and skills. Learning evaluation is carried out by the school every month, western music learning is carried out well from the participation, activeness and participation of students in participating in learning activities. The teacher becomes easier in delivering the material, the interaction between the teacher and students is more active. The effectiveness of western music learning for the criteria of teaching quality, suitability of the level of teaching, intensive learning is said to be effective. However, the criteria for the time required can be said to be ineffective.

Abstract

One of the architectural relics in Kudus beside the Menara Kudus Mosque, there is the Gate of Wali Loram Kulon Mosque. The gate implicitly functions as a religious, social and cultural center for the Loram community. This study aims to describe the function of Wali Mosque gate for the Loram Kulon community in Kudus Regency. This research studied the individual functions, social functions and physical functions. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Meanwhile, data analysis used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Loram Kulon community around Wali Loram Mosque is a religious community. It was proven by the belief in carrying out the Shari'a, traditions and customs as well as social and cultural life. Harmony and tolerance are the results of the gate function. There are three traditions that exist and lead to the gate of Wali Loram Kulon Mosque in Kudus. They are Sego Kepel or rice ball tradition, Nganten Mubeng Gapuro, and Ampyang Maulid tradition. People believe that bad things will happen if they do not carry out the traditions. Therefore, the inheritance of cultural values can certainly be structured and transmitted at least through the local schools in Loram Kulon village, Kudus Regency to convey the local wisdom continuously.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan tentang (1) konsep pendidikan dan pembelajaran seni rupa, (2) memilih jenis seni rupa dan media berkarya berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013, (3) berkarya seni rupa sesuai dengan prosedur, dan (4) membuat RPP dan penerapannya di kelas kepada Guru SD. Penataran dengan metode ceramah, tanya-jawab dan brainstorming dilakukan sebagai bentuk pemberian pemahaman tentang konsep pendidikan dan pembelajaran seni rupa di SD. Workshop untuk menganalisis kurikulum terkait dengan berbagai istilah, jenis dan media seni rupa di SD. Peserta terdiri dari empat SD Negeri di Kecamatan Ungaran Timur. Oleh karena keterbatasan waktu dari pihak mitra, maka kegiatan pelatihan dilangsungkan mulai 29 April sampai dengan 22 Juli 2017; dilaksanakan setiap hari Sabtu, dari pukul 08.00-12.30, dan penyusunan rancangan pembelajaran berikut penerapannya dilakukan mandiri dengan monitoring Tim.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pembelajaran ragam hias berbasis eko-budaya pesisiran pada saat ini masih sangat jarang dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses penilaian pembelajaran ragam hias berbasis eko-budaya pesisiran siswa kelas VII SMP dalam masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengabsahan data melalui teknik triangulasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Perlunya penilaian berbasis digital mengingat penilaian manual memiliki berbagai kelemahan terkait dengan analisis data yang dinilai kurang efektif. Kemampuan literasi penilaian yang dibutuhkan guru saat ini sangat berbeda  disesuaikan dengan situasi pandemi Covid-19. Artikel ini akan membahas tentang sistem penilaian otentik  dalam pembelajaran seni rupa pada materi ragam hias berbasis eko-budaya pesisiran yang menggambarkan kemampuan siswa secara lebih menyeluruh mulai dari aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengembangan karakter. Berkaitan dengan keterampilan, kemampuan, dan persepsi yang dibutuhkan guru dalam lingkungan digital, dan akan menunjukkan pentingnya mengadaptasi berbagai teknologi untuk tujuan penilaian ini.  Selanjutnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa penilaian otentik pada pembelajaran ragam hias berbasis eko-budaya pesisiran berimplikasi positif guna membangun kapasitas kreatif dan kesadaran budaya pada diri siswa.Abstract:  Learning decorative varieties based on coastal eco-culture at this time is still very rarely implemented. This study aims to describe the assessment process of decorative learning based on coastal eco-culture of grade VII junior high school students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses qualitative methods. Data collection through observation, interview, and documentation. Data transfer techniques through triangulation techniques. Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The need for digital-based assessments considering manual assessments have a variety of drawbacks related to data analysis that is considered less effective. The assessment literacy skills needed by teachers today are very different according to the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic. This article will discuss about the authentic assessment system in fine arts learning on decorative materials based on coastal eco-culture that describes students' abilities more thoroughly ranging from aspects of knowledge, skills, and character development. It relates to the skills, abilities, and perceptions teachers need in a digital environment, and will demonstrate the importance of adapting various technologies for the purposes of this assessment.  Furthermore, it can be concluded that authentic assessment on the learning of decorative varieties based on coastal eco-culture has positive implications in order to build creative capacity and cultural awareness in students.

Abstract

Pembentukan BUMDes ditentukan berdasarkan potensi yang dimiliki masing-masing desa. BUMDes Berkah Alam Lestari (Mitra) yang terletak di Desa Ngesrepbalong, Limbangan, Kendal memiliki fokus bisnis utama dalam sektor pariwisata dengan fokus tiga unit usaha yang berada di Secepit (Gunungsari), Bendolimo dan Siratangi. Potensi lokal yang dimiliki Desa Ngesrepbalong terdiri dari atraksi wisata alam, keanekaragaman hayati, atraksi budaya dan produk olahan lokal. Permasalahan yang dialami mitra adalah (1) BUMDes belum memiliki proses perencanaan bisnis khususnya terkait dengan kegiatan bagi hasil (SOP), (2) BUMDes belum memiliki kapasitas SDM untuk mengelola bagi hasil dari kegiatan usaha, (3) Belum adanya perancangan destination branding sebagai identitas untuk memperkenalkan pariwisata Desa Ngesrepbalong, (4) Keterbatasan kapasitas SDM dalam pengelolaan media dan publikasi untuk promosi wisata, (5) Keterbatasan kapasitas SDM pemandu wisata untuk berkomunikasi mendampingi tamu dan wisatawan. Solusi yang ditawarkan mitra melalui peningkatan profesionalitas kelembagaan dan kapasitas SDM BUMDes, branding dan promosi wista berbasis digital, dan peningkatan kapasitas SDM pemandu wisata melalui storytelling.
