Abstract

Viral marketing is a marketing strategy that is currently widely used. The existence of social media supports the viral marketing strategy to become a effective marketing strategy for introducing a new product to potential customers. This strategy is said to be effective because at low costs it can reach a wider market. This study aims to examine how viral marketing influences the interest in visiting. The independent variable in this study is viral marketing, and the dependent variable is the interest in visiting. Respondents in this study were TikTok users who had seen content about the Kintamani Bali Caldera Nature. The sample was determined using Slovin's formula with a total of 100 respondents. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques in this study include descriptive statistical analysis, simple linear analysis, validity and reliability tests, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 25. The results of the study show that viral marketing has a positive and significant effect on the interest in visiting, with the T-test result of sig. value 0.003 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination shows 84%, meaning that the influence of viral marketing on the interest in visiting is 84%.

Abstract

Tourist guides need to improve their competence in interpreting a tourism site. The ecotourism tour guide training program initiated by the Tourism Office of Klungkung Regency aims to enhance the quality of tour guides in the region. With the goal of providing unique and memorable tourism experiences for tourists, this program contributes to the development of tourism potential and local economic growth. The training is attended by forty prospective tour guides from diverse backgrounds and interests. Collaborating with lecturers from the Institute of Tourism and International Business in Denpasar as speakers, the program prioritizes the quality and professionalism of content delivery. Discussions encompass critical aspects of tour guiding, including designing effective tours and building positive relationships within the context of tourism. Participants are provided training in formulating engaging and relevant tour materials, along with opportunities to practice presenting their own content. The implementation stages of the Community Engagement (PkM) program include pre-implementation, execution, and evaluation. The Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involves various stakeholders in discussing issues faced by tourism villages in Klungkung Regency regarding tourism development, aiming to identify problems and solutive steps. The education method is employed during the execution phase to enhance participants' ability to access relevant information, supplemented with pre- and post-tests to measure comprehension. The evaluation stage encourages participants to apply learned guiding techniques and receive feedback from the speakers. The execution of this program is intended to create a positive impact in the tourism sector of Klungkung Regency, employing a systematic approach that identifies issues and applies practical solutions. The engagement activities showcase active participant interaction in gaining knowledge about effective tour design and practical guiding skills. Therefore, this program is anticipated to elevate the quality of local tourism with skilled and knowledgeable tour guides, providing meaningful experiences for tourists visiting Klungkung Regency.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan merangkai bunga dan bahasa Inggris yang diselenggarakan oleh IPB Internasional di Panti Asuhan Ananda Seva Dharma. Pelatihan merangkai bunga bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan seni dan kreativitas anak-anak, sementara pelatihan bahasa Inggris bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi mereka. Metode pengajaran yang digunakan meliputi sesi teori, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung. Selain itu, diberikan pula kegiatan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kerjasama dan komunikasi antar peserta. Pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi anak-anak di Panti Asuhan Ananda Seva Dharma. Keterampilan merangkai bunga dapat menjadi sumber penghasilan di masa depan, sementara kemampuan bahasa Inggris dapat membuka peluang pendidikan dan karir yang lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, program pelatihan yang dilakukan oleh IPB Internasional memiliki nilai yang signifikan dalam memajukan potensi anak-anak panti asuhan dan memberikan mereka kesempatan untuk meraih masa depan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi jabatan, dan kompensasi secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Pizza Hut Cabang Sunset Road Point Bali. Lokasi penelitian ini di Pizza Hut Cabang Sunset Road Point Bali. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda, Uji Koefisien Determinasi, Uji F dan Uji t. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa: (1) promosi jabatan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana diperoleh nilai t-hitung 3,028 dan signifikansi 0,004. (2) kompensasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana diperoleh nilai t-hitung 3,066 dan signifikansi 0,004. (3) secara simultan promosi jabatan dan kompensasi berpengaruh signfikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dimana diperoleh nilai F-hitung 20,738 dan signifikansi 0,000. Besarnya pengaruh promosi jabatan dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan adalah 52,9%. Saran yang dapat diberikan peneliti adalah Pizza Hut Cabang Sunset Road Point Bali diharapkan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan memperhatikan variabel promosi abatan dan kompensasi This study aims to determine the effect of promotion and compensation partially and simultaneously on employee performance at Pizza Hut Sunset Road Point Bali Branch. The location of this research is Pizza Hut Sunset Road Point Bali Branch. The sample used in this study were 40 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this research is the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient of Determination Test, F Test and t Test. From the research results, it can be seen that: (1) job promotion has a significant positive effect on employee performance, where the t-count value is 3.028 and the significance is 0.004. (2) compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, where the t-count value is 3.066 and the significance is 0.004. (3) simultaneously promotion and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance, where the F-count value is 20,738 and the significance is 0,000. The magnitude of the effect of promotion and compensation on employee performance is 52.9%. The suggestion that researchers can give is that Pizza Hut Sunset Road Point Bali Branch is expected to improve employee performance by paying attention to the variables of promotion and compensation

Abstract

Semenjak terjadi wabah Covid-19 yang di Indonesia tahun 2020 awal sektor pariwisata Indonesia mengalami penurunan dimana-mana tidak terkecuali di Bali. Sebagai salah satu sektor bisnis yang banyak menghasilkan lapangan pekerjaan karena mampu menampung tenaga kerja yang sangat besar, pariwisata dianggap oleh sebagian masyarakat sebagai entitas yang dirugikan. Pengaruh pandemi covid-19 ini menyebabkan Pura Tirta Empul mengalami penurunan wisatawan sehingga membuat para pelaku wisata untuk berlomba menariw wisatawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah yaitu mengetahui dampak positif dan negatif pandemi covid-19 terhadap objek wisata Pura Tirta Empul, serta pengelolaan strategis. Teknik yang digunakan adalah Non-probability sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu pengelola dan masyarakat sekitar sebanyak enam orang. Data penelitian bersifat kualitatif berupa dampak positif dan negatif pandemi Covid-19 terhadap dampak pariwisata Tirta Empul diperoleh dari wawancara, pengamatan, pemotretan, perekaman. Dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh pandemi covid-19 bagi wisata Tirta Empul adalah perkenomonian masyarakat menjadi turun. Dampak positif yaitu masyarakat menginstropeksi dan lebih mawas diri. Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan diantaranya adalah gencar mempromosikan objek wisata Tirta Empul ke sektor-sektor pariwisata stakeholder terutama travel agen dan hotel-hotel. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan bekerjasama antar pengelola objek wisata Tirta Empul, desa adat dan pemerintah. Masyarakat juga mengelola lahan yang ada dengan melakukan kegiatan positif seperti menanam sayuran. Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia since early 2020, the Indonesian tourism sector Since the Covid-19 outbreak in Indonesia in early 2020, the Indonesian tourism sector has decreased everywhere, including in Bali. As a business sector that generates many jobs because it is able to accommodate a very large workforce, tourism is considered by some people as an entity that is disadvantaged. The influence of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused Tirta Empul Temple to experience a decline in tourists, making tourism actors compete to attract tourists. The purpose of this study was to determine the positive and negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Tirta Empul Temple tourist attraction, as well as strategic management. The technique used is Non-probability sampling. The research sample is the manager and the surrounding community as many as six people. Qualitative research data in the form of positive and negative impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the impact of Tirta Empul tourism were obtained from interviews, observations, photo shoots, recordings. The negative impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic for Tirta Empul tourism is that the community's economy has decreased. The positive impact is that people introspect and are more introspective. Efforts made include intensively promoting the Tirta Empul tourist attraction to the tourism sectors of stakeholders, especially travel agents and hotels. This is done in collaboration between the managers of the Tirta Empul tourist attraction, traditional villages and the government. The community also manages the existing land by carrying out positive activities such as planting vegetables.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) Opening And Closing Restaurant di The Trans Resort Bali. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan cara menyesuaikan (SOP) Opening dan Closing Restaurant dengan kenyataan dilapangan untuk mengetahui apakah semua prosedur yang berlaku disudah dilakukan dengan baik dan benar. Berdasarkan hasil obervasi yang telah dilakukan terdapat dua prosedur pada saat opening dan closing yang tidak dilakukan. Prosedur yang tidak dilakukan adalah 1) Prepare dan set up semua table dengan placemate, cutletires set, salt and papper bowl dan sugar bowl, 2) Pindahkan ke dalam semua kursi yang berada di area pooldeck/outside restoran untuk menghindari kursinya basah apabila terjadi hujan pada malam hari, sehingga prosedur yang tidak dilakukan tidak sesuai dengan Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). Industri perhotelan atau restoran dapat merujuk pada penilitian ini untuk meninjau kembali penerapan (SOP) pada saat opening dan closing. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) Opening And Closing Restaurant at The Trans Resort Bali. The methods used in data collection are observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative, namely by adjusting the Opening and Closing Restaurant (SOP) with the reality on the ground to find out whether all the procedures that apply have been carried out properly and correctly. Based on the results of the observations that have been made, there are 2 procedures during opening and closing that were not carried out. The procedures that were not carried out were 1) Prepare and set up all the tables with placemates, cutletires sets, salt and paper bowls and sugar bowls, 2) Move all the chairs in the pooldeck/outside area of the restaurant to avoid the chairs getting wet when it rains. at night, so the procedures that are not carried out are not in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP). The hotel or restaurant industry can refer to this research to review the implementation (SOP) during opening and closing.

Abstract

The development of Virgin Beach which has not been maximized has caused many complaints from tourists, both aspects of completeness of facilities, accessibility. Tourist preferences and satisfaction are important factors in developing Virgin Beach to make it better in the future. This study aims to find out the preferences and satisfaction of tourists in Virgin Beach, Karangasem, Bali. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, the number of samples of 40 visiting tourists taken using incidental sampling techniques. Questionnaires that are distributed using a Likert scale have been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics with the assessment categorization method based on the average score and IPA (importance performance analysis) with a method of looking for gaps between expectations and performance. The results of this study conclude that tourist preferences in Virgin Beach are good, have an average value of 3.6 in the interval of 3,5 - 4,2. While tourist satisfaction shows from 5 variables, namely: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangible evidence, only responsiveness and assurance variables that have performance in accordance with tourist expectations and are able to satisfy tourists while physical evidence and reliability variables have lower performance from the expectations of tourists so that they have not been able to support the satisfaction of tourists on Virgin Beach and the empathy variable is not too expected by tourists to support their satisfaction at Virgin Beach. And it is necessary to develop from the aspect of tourist facilities, and improve service performance.

Abstract

Paksebali is a newly developed tourist village in Bali. The development encounters challenges on the destination management, promotion, and stakeholders’ support. This study aimed at formulating strategy and construct the tourist village development model. Observation, interview, documentation, and FGD were used to collect data which then analyzed descriptively using qualitative and SWOT analysis. The study displayed the current condition of Paksebali is in the growth-oriented strategy. The construction of Paksebali development model towards smart eco-tourism village destination was initiated with identification of supporting components. This can be formulated into a tourist village development strategy including ICT-based management.Paksebali is a newly developed tourist village in Bali.
