Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the strategy carried out by the Tourism Office in developing Makassar city smart branding. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in an effort to develop Makassar city smart branding. This process shows that every strategy undertaken, starting from publications, events, news, community involvement, informing of image, lobbying and negotiation, and social responsibility, has been carried out jointly by the city government and the community. In each strategy, show participatory or planning that involves the community because in this strategy the community is given understanding and knowledge related to tourism in order to create a more qualified young generation by seeing the potential, opportunities and problems that will be faced by the community.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pembagian erja, komunikasi dan kesatuan tindakan antara Ombudsman dan Inspektorat Pengawasan Daerah Polda Sulsel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif, data yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber baik dari kepala keasistenan bagian pencegahan Ombudsman, Pengelola IT, dan data Ombudsman, anggota Dumasanwas Inspektorat pengawasan daerah Polda Sulsel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, studi dokumentasi, media review dan observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyaian data dan verifikasi data. Pengabsahan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik dan waktu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koordinasi yang terjalin antara Ombudsman dengan Inspektorat Polda Sulsel terjalin dengan baik. Dilihat dari pembagian kerja yang dimana masing-masing instansi bekerja sesuai dengan tugasnya masing-masing. Komunikasi yang terjalin juga baik, karena setiap ada anggota kepolisian yang melakukan tindak maladministrasi, kedua instansi selalu berkomunikasi mengenai tindak lanjut laporan.Kata Kunci : Koordinasi, Pencegahan, Maladministrasi

Abstract

This study  aimed to explain the responsiveness of the implementation of public services at the Department of Population and Civil Registry of Bone Regency. This study used a qualitative method. The research data were collected by means of participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study showed that the ability to respond to the community was good, it was seen from the use of the Head of Service's mobile number as a public number, the speed of service was not good due to the usual network errors and less government apparatus compared to many people, the accuracy of serving was good in accordance with standard operating procedures(SOP), Accuracy in serving was good because it was electronically based, timeliness of service, namely processing time until verification must be on schedule, ability to respond the complaints was  good because it had received complaints and filled out Google Forms implemented by the Regency Population and Civil Registry Office. Keywords: Responsiveness, Public Service

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership on employee performance at the Gowa Regency National Land Agency. Leadership is a determining factor in an organization or company. The type of research used is quantitative research. The data sources used in this study are primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires with the number of respondents 50 people. Respondent data were analyzed by simple linear regression using SPSS version 25 application.The results of this study indicate that the leadership at the Office of the National Land Agency of Gowa Regency got results of 89.3% which was classified as very good. The performance of employees get results of 88.5% which is also classified as very good. Then the results of the T test, the regression coefficient value for the Employee Performance Variable is 0.965 with a significance of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 indicating that leadership has a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of government in overcoming damage to road infrastructure in Bone regency. The method of this study used descriptive qualitative. The number of informan were 4 people. The result of this study showed that the role of government had performed its duties and responsibilities as an organizer policy. And in the provision of government facilities, it needed to review location so that the government knew the needs.. but in a large project or development.. it was hard for the ragional government or related agencies to give authority to their work partners then the work partner who would be responsible for the provision of facilities. The ragional government or related agencies continued to carry out their supervision and could not be separated responsible. Keywords: Government Role, Road Infrastructure Damage

Abstract

 The aim of this research is to examine the effectiveness of boats crossing the Jeneberang River as an alternative public transportation in Taeng village, Gowa district. The aim of this research is to find out how effective the management of boats crossing the Jeneberang River is in meeting public transportation needs in Taeng Village, Gowa Regency. The type of research used is qualitative research, the data sources used are primary and secondary. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the research show that the effectiveness of ferry boat management as an alternative to public transportation in Taeng Village, Gowa Regency, is an indicator of achieving goals that have been effective in terms of service to transportation users. In terms of integration, the effectiveness of ferry boats is not yet optimal due to the lack of satisfaction in handling the causes of boat accidents. And from the adaptation indicators it cannot be said to be effective because the management of ferry boats in terms of providing innovation to ferry boat users still seems slow in providing adjustments such as inadequate supporting infrastructure (facilities and infrastructure).

Abstract

This study aimed to find out how the application of the HRM function in improving the special police duties in Class 1 Prison Makassar City. This study used qualitative descriptive research. The number of informants in this study was 5 people. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively. The results of the study showed that the application of the HRM function in improving the special police officers'  in Class 1 Prison in Makassar City had been oriented to improve the tasks or competence of the National Police Station in developing the inmates who were already competent and in line with the tasks and training that had been received by the police station staff, then applied it directly in his task of fostering prisoners, with the aimed was prisoners could be useful in the community and no longer commit crime. But in the case of oversight carried out by the police station  was not optimal, because there were still violations, namely the smuggling of cell phones that recently occurred in the last few months. Supervision should be carried out more stringently and monitored every 2 times 24 hours so that  no more suppliers broughtbelectronic for prisoners.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of the study was to determine the work discipline of the village apparatus after the division in Buriko Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency. The number of informants in this study were 5 people. This type of research is qualitative with the type of qualitative research that emphasizes the subjectivity of human life experience. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the work discipline of the village apparatus after the division in Buriko Village, Pitumpanua District, Wajo Regency was not yet fully effective, this can be seen from the indicators (1) Preventive Discipline, Discipline attendance during the Pandemic period decreased so that people were still minimal to take care of all files related to the Office The village as well as uniform discipline and the presence of employees have not been thoroughly disciplined, because there are still staff who are seen hanging around outside the office during working hours. (2) Corrective Discipline, To improve discipline so that things do not happen that have been experienced by some people, the Village Head needs to improve further to supervise his staff who violates the identity of wearing casual clothes to the Village Office despite the pandemic, which can make people confused when they are in the village. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the Effectiveness of the Problem Solving Approaches in Fostering Public order and Security at the Kahu Police station, Bone Regency. This study used a qualitative approach that provided an overview or phenomena and problems that occured. Data collection techniques were observation, media review, interviews and documentation. The results of this study showed the effectiveness of problem solving approaches in developing Kamtibmas, there were three criteria, namely: Goal Achievement, Integration and Adaptation. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the effectiveness of the Problem Solving Approach in the Guiding Kamtibmas in achieving the goals had run well and did not take a long time and it had reached the final goal of mediation. However, in the integration process, there were still people who did not know the forms of socialization carried out by Bhabinkamtibmas and did not know the existence of Bhabinkamtibmas in their villages.

Abstract

 This research aims to determine the effect of implementing Good Governance on employee performance at the Population Service Office. The type of research used is quantitative research with an explanatory survey approach, the number of respondents was 45 people. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research show that there is an influence between the variables of implementing Good Governance and the performance of the Majene Regency Population and Civil Registry Service employees. The implementation of good governance is based on aspects of transparency, participation and accountability. percentage of 69.44%. Meanwhile, employee performance conditions show a percentage of 80%. The influence of implementing good governance on employee performance was presented at 30.3%, while 70% (100% - 30.3%) indicated that employee performance can also be influenced by other factors and causes outside the aspect of implementing good governance, such as aspects of work motivation, discipline, benefits. to organizational culture which also plays a role in optimizing employee performance.
