Study findings about students' learning needs became the basis for this research. To improve high-level cognitive learning outcomes based on students' metacognitive characteristics, this research will apply Discovery Learning. This research uses Solomon Four Groups Design, a type of quasi-experimental research methodology. The research population was 216 fourth grade students at Al Kautsar Elementary School. In keeping with the research objectives, a cluster random sampling approach was used to select the sample for this investigation, resulting in a total of 112 students. The data analysis method uses the Man Whitney test which is non-parametric. Research findings show that discovery learning is effectively implemented in elementary schools because it can foster student participation in learning activities, which in turn can improve cognitive learning outcomes at a high level based on students' metacognitive characteristics.

Komunikasi antar budaya merupakan suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh dua orang atau lebih, namun pada latar kebudayaan yang berbeda atau dapat dikatakan komunikasi yang dilakukan sesuai suku dari daerah masing-masing. Mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dalam melakukan komunikasi antar budaya belum berjalan dengan baik karena masih terdapat sikap etnosentrisme dalam diri setiap mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pengamatan awal ketika ditemukannya masalah yakni mengenai sikap etnosentrisme mahasiswa yang masih mengedepankan budaya nya sendiri ketika melakukan komunikasi antar budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik angket dan wawancara. Populasi dalam Penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan IPS FKIP Universitas Lampung. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji regresi sederhana, uji hipotesis dan uji koefisien determinasi Hasil data penelitian ini telah didapatkan pengaruh positif dengan persentase sebesar 51,2%. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan komunikasi antar budaya akan berdampak positif pada sikap etnosentrisme pada diri setiap mahasiswa. Komunikasi antar budaya juga dapat menumbuhkan suatu sikap pada mahasiswa untuk selalu berpegang teguh pada bhinneka tunggal ika dan menerapkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam diri setiap mahasiswa.

Peran pemerintah desa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan gotong royong sangat memungkinkan agar dapat membangun kesadaran masyarakat desa. Oleh karena itu perlu suatu strategi maupun kebijakan agar dalam pelaksanaannya dapat berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menjelaskan peran aparatur desa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan gotong royong pada masyarakat di desa Girimulyo Lampung Timur. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif karena penelitian ini berusaha mendeskripsikan fenomena, gejala sosial yang sedang terjadi dan sesuai dengan keadaan sebenarnya dalam masyarakat. Informan penelitian ini adalah kepala desa, aparatur desa dan masyarakat di lingkungan dusun dua. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa hal pertama, melalui kegiatan gotong royong yang dilaksanakan kebersamaan antar masyarakat dapat terjalin dengan baik; kedua, aparatur desa sebagai motivator telah bekerjasama dengan masyarakat dalam hal ini bersama-sama dalam meningkatkan pembangunan desa melalui pelaksanaan gotong royong; ketiga, peran aparatur desa sebagai fasilitator cukup membantu masyarakat Desa Girimulyo.

The existence of Sedekah Bumi has decreased due to globalization. This has become a problem in Pekon Merbau in the social and cultural fields, such as the loss of the original culture of an area such as Sedekah Bumi. The current of globalization has had a major influence on Indonesian culture, including the Sedekah Bumi ceremony. The rapid pace of information and telecommunications can actually lead to a tendency that leads to the waning of the value of cultural preservation. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing the influence of globalization on the existence of the Sedekah Bumi tradition in society. The research method used is a quantitative approach with descriptive methods, then data collection techniques in the field are carried out by means of observation and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study indicate that globalization affects the existence of the Sedekah Bumi in Pekon Merbau. This is shown from the results of the simple linear regression analysis test showing the t-count value of 3.136 and the sig value of 0.002. Thus it can be concluded that t hitung > t table is 3.136 > 0.67581 and the value of sig < 0.05 is 0.002 < 0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Globalization is a factor that can affect the fading of the existence of the Sedekah Bumi in Pekon Merbau, so that if globalization is positive, the influence will be positive on the existence of the Sedekah Bumi which indicates that the Sedekah Bumi tradition will increasingly fade. On the other hand, if globalization is negative, the impact will be negative, which means the Sedekah Bumi tradition will be stronger and continue to be preserved.Keywords: Sedekah Bumi, Globalization, Existence

The village government as a stakeholder who is responsible for developing the potential that exists in the village, one of which is the potential of human resources. Youth is an important component in the village as a partner of the village government to work together to advance the welfare of the village. Based on the Republican Theory of Citizenship that individual freedom exists in a guarantee of state security that is under the legal order and the virtues of citizens (civic virtues) to be able to participate in it. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the role of the village government in carrying out youth development efforts in Braja Asri Village as an effort to establish civic virtue. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the implementation of guidance from the Braja Asri Village government has not been effective because the village government is still focusing on the physical development of the village, the lack of motivation from the youth themselves, the personal busyness of each young man. This affects the process of forming civic virtue in the youth because there needs to be good cooperation between fellow components, namely the village government and the youth.Keywords: Village Government, Youth Development, Citizenship Civilization

The skills and participation of citizens are urgently needed for progress and prosperity in the community. Volunteerism opens opportunities for each individual to participate and contribute based on the knowledge and experience he has had in previous voluntary activities. Qualitative research implemented on this research, and ethnography method to explore the cultural background and young people engagement. Young people participation in voluntary activity has a positive impact on building community solidarity that strengthens togetherness and kinship. Sympathy and empathy are strengths in increasing individual motivation in voluntary activities. Volunteerism creates space for interaction and communication between individuals involvement in social activities. Social capital that runs well will bring about social welfare, this can be started from the involvement of individuals called active citizenship. The implications from the research are: 1) community need some positive activity and opportunity to engage; 2) the more young people engage with the social activities the more they are trained and experienced.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa PPKn Universitas Lampung terhadap Permendikbud Nomor 30 Tahun 2021 Tentang Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan Seksual di Perguruan Tinggi sebagai wujud literasi hukum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif pendekatan kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa PPKn Universitas Lampung Angkatan 2018, 2019, dan 2020. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan alat bantu angket yang disebarkan secara online dan dalam menganalisis data peneliti dibantu dengan SPSS 25 juga Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa PPKn Universitas Lampung Angkatan 2018, 2019 dan 2020 terhadap Permendikbud Nomor 30 Tahun 2021 Tentang Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan Seksual di Perguruan Tinggi dalam pengetahuan, pemahaman, sikap dan perilaku sangat baik sehingga bisa dikatan literasi hukum mahasiswa 2018, 2019 dan 2020 sangat baik.

Moral education through voluntary work or volunteering greatly supports the development of individuals and society specifically in the improvement of social and practical skills, knowledge and experience. Voluntary activity not only forms common good but also develops a caring attitude to act and has a strong interest in working together to make a better community in the aspects of community's role and responsibility. Qualitative research with an ethnographic approach was carried out during the 2018’s Krakatau Festival cultural event which involved 60 volunteers. Observations, interviews, and documentation studies are important parts of data collection and data analysis significantly. This study found that the pattern of responsible activities and implementation of voluntary work can strengthen volunteering awareness and always foster a pattern of good cooperation with fellow volunteers and other work units as a moral responsibility and moral education that is very beneficial for volunteers in the future. The next researcher can conduct research on good volunteering planning preparation and effective and efficient cooperation patterns. Kegiatan kesukarelaan tidak hanya membentuk kebaikan bagi masyarakat (common good) melainkan juga mengembangkan sikap kepedulian untuk bertindak dan memiliki semangat yang kuat dalam bekerja sama untuk membuat lingkungan masyarakat lebih baik dari aspek peran masyarakat dan tanggung jawab. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografis dilakukan selama acara budaya Festival Krakatau 2018 dengan melibatkan 60 relawan. Observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi menjadi bagian penting untuk pengumpulan data dan analisis data secara signifikan. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pola aktivitas dan implementasi pekerjaan kesukarelaan yang dilakukan dengan penuh tanggung jawab dapat memperkuat sikap kepedulian relawan dan selalu membina pola kerjasama yang baik dengan sesama relawan dan unit kerja lain sebagai tanggung jawab moral dan pendidikan moral yang sangat bermanfaat bagi diri relawan di masa depan. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian mengenai persiapan perencanaan kerja sukarela yang baik dan pola kerjasama yang efektif dan efesien. Classroom learning is extremely important for students, providing a structured environment supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. Classroom learning allows students to interact with teachers in real time; this offers the opportunity for immediate clarification, feedback, and guidance, which is critical for deeper understanding. Building interactions by seeing stimuli and gestures appropriately takes a classroom where interactions occur naturally which can be observed directly. Online classes present fairly short class meetings and do not involve emotional well between teacher and students. Qualitative research with a case study approach in the article reveals the need for direct interaction in the classroom teaching-learning process. 10 respondents were middle school teachers who taught in several schools in Bandar Lampung. Classrooms must be used as fun spaces filled with motivation for students related to critical social values, cooperation, respect, empathy, critical thinking, and responsibility are essential for the student’s holistic development.

History subjects have a role in building historical awareness and preventing learners from being blind to historical values. This condition requires teachers to involve students in interpreting and analyzing historical artifacts and primary sources, as well as constructing and criticizing narratives about the past. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of developing an interactive module based on Liveworksheet in constructing history learning to improve the historical thinking ability of high school students in Bandar Lampung City. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), adopting the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung and SMA YP Unila Bandar Lampung. The validity of the material, media, and design, as well as the small group test of the Liveworksheet-based interactive learning module, yielded an average score of 95.2%, categorized as very feasible. The effectiveness of the Liveworksheet-based interactive learning module in improving the historical thinking ability of high school students in Bandar Lampung City is evidenced by the increase in pretest and posttest results. Based on the feasibility validation results, a significant score of 95.2% was obtained, indicating a very feasible module. Additionally, the effectiveness of the development reached 95.5%, showing that the Liveworksheet-based interactive learning module has a significant impact on improving the historical thinking skills of high school students in Bandar Lampung City, with criteria categorized as very effective.
