Abstract

Aims to Know the Concept of Instilling and Implementing the Internalization of Al-Maun's Values at LAZISMU. This research method uses qualitative research methods, namely in the form of written or spoken words from people and actors who can be observed. This data was obtained from literature studies, interviews and observations to determine the concept of planting and the implementation of the Internalization of Al-Maun's Values at LAZISMU. The results obtained are the concept of embedding Al-Maun's Values in Improving the Quality of Service at LAZISMU Medan City, namely 1) the Concept of Internalizing Al-Maun Values at LAZISMU Medan City, namely through the Method of Habituation of Worship with the concept of empowering orphans and poor people, Strive for social services good service to the people of Medan, especially orphans and needy children and 2) Implementation of the Internalization of Al-Maun Values in improving the quality of services, namely Lazismu in the Implementation of Al-Maun values through the Mentari Scholarship program, namely social care compensation to ensure the continuity of education through parenting in a form of scholarship for students who come from underprivileged families who are followed up every month financed by Lazismu, providing regular basic necessities to the poor from people who pay tithe, infaq and alms

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan budaya modern seringkali membawa tantangan dalam menjaga dan membentuk karakter yang positif pada anak, termasuk dalam aspek religius. Lembaga pendidikan di tingkat anak usia dini, seperti Tadika Suria Edukids Centre, memegang peran krusial dalam memberikan pendidikan yang tidak hanya meliputi ilmu pengetahuan umum, tetapi juga mengintegrasikan nilai moral dan agama yang mampu membentuk perilaku religius. Penelitian ini membahas tentang konsep manajemen pendidikan karakter dalam membentuk sikap religius murid di Tadika Suria Edukids Centre. Tujuan penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan rumusan masalahnya. Adapun tujuan tersebut untuk dapat mengetahui apa saja konsep manajemen pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan, untuk dapat menegetahui faktor pendukung dari manajemen pendidikan karakter dan untuk dapat menegtahui kendala apa saja yang terjadi dalam penerapan konsep manajemen pendidikan karakter dalam membentuk sikap religius murid. Penelitian ini tergolong sebagai penelitian di lapangan. Teknik yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengamatan langsung di lokasi penelitian yaitu, di Tadika Suria Edukids Centre Puncak Perdana, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Wawancara juga dilakukan dengan para tenaga pendidikan terkait, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui pengurangan data, penyajian informasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diterapkan dengan metode triangulasi.Konsep pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan di Tadika tersebut memiliki dampak yang signifikan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai religius pada murid. Dengan mengintegrasikan ajaran agama ke seluruh aspek pembelajaran dan kegiatan sehari-hari, lembaga ini berhasil menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan karakter religius. Meski terdapat beberapa kendala, upaya yang dilakukan oleh lembaga untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai religius layak mendapat pengakuan dan perlu terus ditingkatkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of educational management in improving children's religious character at Tadika Brilliant Buds Edukids, Malaysia. Using a qualitative approach through observation and interviews, the study found that the application of educational management including planning, implementation, and evaluation can consistently create a conducive learning environment for the development of religious character in early childhood. Integration of religious values in learning, habituation of religious activities, and collaboration between teachers and parents are key factors for success. The main challenges faced are the diversity of children's backgrounds and the lack of parental involvement, but can be overcome with an adaptive and innovative approach. The results of this study are expected to be a reference in the development of religious character education in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi guru dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa di Tadika Didik Bistari Gemilang. Kompetensi guru berperan penting dalam meningkatkan perkembangan yang optimal pada aspek kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah observasi non-partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi berdasarkan konfirmasi guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Untuk penarikan kesimpulan dan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik dan member checking. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru dalam meningkatkan kompetensinya adalah dengan menghadiri pelatihan, mengikuti kursus, serta memanfaatkan media sosial yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilannya dalam mengajar. Dalam meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa, guru menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif seperti penggunaan media kartu pembelajaran, serta melaksanakan aktivitas yang dapat melatih keterampilan motorik halus dan kasar siswa menggunakan alat bantu aktivitas psikomotorik. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi guru adalah kurangnya dukungan sebagian orang tua terhadap anaknya dan minat siswa yang berubah saat proses pembelajaran. Kedua kendala tersebut harus ditangani dengan baik agar tidak menghambat proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya adalah kompetensi guru berperan penting dalam perkembangan yang optimal pada kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa, sehingga pengembangan kompetensi guru harus terus dilakukan dan didukung oleh pihak sekolah dan lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

This study examines Azyumardi Azra’s thoughts on Islamic education in Indonesia. Azra emphasizes the necessity of reforming Islamic education to adapt to contemporary developments while shaping human character based on Islamic values. His proposed concept aims for Islamic education to evolve in accordance with the teachings of the Qur’an and as-sunnah. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method through a literature review of Azra’s works, including books, articles, and manuscripts sourced from libraries. The findings indicate that Islamic education in Indonesia requires reform to address modern challenges. This reform involves a textual understanding of Islamic teachings and the integration of religious knowledge with general sciences. The objective is to produce a Muslim generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, and capable of adapting to changing times. Azyumardi Azra’s thoughts serve as an important inspiration for the development of Islamic education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Character education is an important foundation in developing students with integrity and noble character. This article discusses the formation and development of character education through the Simpatika Model, an approach that emphasizes empathy, dialogic communication, and active participation in the learning process. This model was developed to create a learning environment conducive to the internalization of character values such as responsibility, honesty, cooperation, and social concern. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach through literature review and limited observations. The results indicate that the implementation of the Simpatika Model encourages emotional and social engagement in students and strengthens synergy between schools, families, and the community. This model is relevant for implementation as a holistic and sustainable character education strategy. This research recommends broader implementation of the Simpatika Model through teacher training, strengthening the role of teachers, and developing educational policies that support character values.

Abstract

Low early childhood learning engagement in Indonesia poses a serious challenge in national education quality development. Based on the data of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2023, as many as 47% of early childhood children show low learning interest, which is rooted in learning approaches that do not match the child’s characteristics. This study aims to explore strategies for improving learning engagement through strengthening teachers’ competencies in the application of play-based learning. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation and documentation in early childhood institutions. Data analysis was conducted with the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through the process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Study results show that play-based learning has positive implications on increasing motivation, active participation, as well as holistic child cognitive, social-emotional, language, and motor development. However, the effectiveness of this approach is highly dependent on teachers’ competence in designing, managing, and evaluating educational, structured play activities. Findings also affirm that enhancing teacher professionalism, through training, accompaniment, and reflective collaboration, is a major key in optimizing the implementation of play-based learning. This study recommends the importance of integrating a playful approach in the early childhood curriculum and strengthening teachers’ pedagogical capacities as a strategic effort in building a foundation of participatory, inclusive, and child development-oriented education from an early age.

This research aims to analyze the problems of implementing the Independent Curriculum at MTsN 1 Medan. To find out this problem, the author uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. To analyze the data, the author uses qualitative descriptive analysis, namely processing data and describing situations according to the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The subject studied was the Deputy Principal for Curriculum at MTsN 1 Medan. The obstacles found include the diversity of student characteristics, low motivation, limited infrastructure, difficulty carrying out assessments, teacher workload, and limited learning time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep agama, motivasi manusia dalam beragama, serta kebutuhan manusia terhadap agama dalam kehidupan modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) yang bersumber dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan literatur relevan. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi, membaca, dan pencatatan terhadap sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agama memiliki peran fundamental sebagai sistem nilai yang mengatur hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, sesama, dan alam semesta. Motivasi beragama timbul dari dorongan spiritual, psikologis, sosial, dan moral yang bersumber dari fitrah manusia untuk mencari makna dan kedekatan dengan Tuhan. Agama juga memenuhi kebutuhan dasar manusia, baik dalam aspek spiritual, moral, maupun sosial, yang menjadikan hidup lebih terarah dan bermakna. Dalam konteks pendidikan, nilai-nilai agama penting diterapkan untuk membentuk tanggung jawab dan akhlak peserta didik. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa agama bukan sekadar sistem kepercayaan, tetapi kebutuhan esensial manusia modern dalam menghadapi krisis moral dan spiritual.
