Abstract

The hospital is one of the workplaces that has a high risk of danger that can cause accidents or work-related illnesses. The application of OSH culture in hospitals is needed to minimize incidents of accidents and work-related illnesses by hospital standards or targets to achieve zero accidents. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to find out the determinants of implementing OSH culture at RSIA Bunda Ciputat in 2022. This quantitative observational study used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used a total sampling of 118 workers, which was carried out in December 2022 at RSIA Bunda Ciputat. Data analysis with logistic regression (=0.05). The application of OSH culture at RSIA Bunda Ciputat is not optimal; only 40.7% of respondents applied well, and 59.3% did not do well. Leadership and attitude simultaneously affect the application of OSH culture after being controlled by perception and action variables (p = 0.00). The most dominant factor in implementing OSH culture is leadership (p = 0.011, B = 1.999, OR = 3.001). There are 4 factors (leadership, attitude, perception, and action) that influence the application of OSH culture at RSIA Bunda Ciputat, and 2 factors, including perception and action, are confounding factors. Suggestion: One of the strategies needed to increase the application of an occupational health and safety culture in hospitals is to optimize the functions of the occupational health and safety committee, supervision, and training related to worker health and safety.

Abstract

The design of a Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) server for the Internet of Things (IoT) utilizes Eclipse Mosquitto as the core server software. The process begins with installation and basic configuration, including port setup, authentication, and encryption to ensure secure communication. Further customization is implemented to meet specific project requirements, such as configuring connection protocols, access permissions, quality of service (QoS) levels, and message retention policies. Integration with other Eclipse platforms, such as Eclipse Paho, supports the development of MQTT clients for IoT devices, enabling bidirectional communication between the server and devices. Additional tools like Eclipse Vert.x or Eclipse Hono may also be utilized to enhance device management and enable more complex message processing. Testing results indicate that the MQTT server implemented on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ successfully received and transmitted data. The ESP32 device also achieved successful data communication via the MQTT server. The system can be accessed across different networks, offering flexible communication without reliance on the same local network. This implementation demonstrates the reliability of MQTT as a robust solution for IoT communication.

Abstract

The tourism sector is a priority driving the regional economy. One effort to build tourism is through the popularity of influencers who can be an alternative used indirectly to re-promote regional tourist destinations. Influencers actively utilize digital media as well-known as digital workers. This research explores the phenomenon of social media influencers in relation to digital workers regarding freedom as content creators and content commodification. Therefore, this research aims to describe the phenomenon of Influencers as Digital Workers in Indonesian Tourism Development in terms of content creation, content production and freedom in selecting tourism content. The method in this research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach based on the concepts of digital labor, social media influencers and tourism development. Primary data from interviews with six local influencers who are members and ambassadors of the Generasi Pesona Indonesia (GenPI) community. Secondary data was obtained through journals, e-books, books, blogs and informant’s social media. To code the interview manuscript and create the co-manuscript networks, we used atlas.ti . The research results show that the communication process by influencers begins with input including content production competencies, content distribution competencies, interaction competencies, public persona, relationship quality and ability to influence. Then in terms of the role of local influencers as content creators, multiplicators, moderators and protagonists. Meanwhile, the output produced by local influencers is in the form of content, reach, interaction, personalization, peer effect, authenticity and credibility. In addition, the outcome is content distribution on various digital media platforms. Finally, in terms of impact, it includes networking and interaction.

Abstract

Dalam konteks pembangunan perkotaan dan pengentasan kemiskinan, akses terhadap perumahan layak bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah merupakan isu strategis yang memerlukan perhatian serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis dampak kebijakan perumahan subsidi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat berdasarkan literatur ilmiah global. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) terhadap 634 artikel dari database Scopus periode 2020–2025, serta analisis bibliometrik menggunakan VOSviewer untuk mengidentifikasi tren dan tema utama. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan perumahan subsidi efektif meningkatkan kesejahteraan melalui perbaikan kondisi ekonomi, rasa aman, dan akses terhadap layanan dasar seperti pendidikan dan kesehatan, terutama di wilayah dengan tata kelola dan infrastruktur yang baik. Namun, tantangan masih ditemukan dalam aspek distribusi dan kualitas bangunan. Penelitian terdahulu juga menekankan pentingnya perencanaan partisipatif dan kolaborasi lintas sektor agar kebijakan perumahan subsidi dapat lebih inklusif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan dalam mendukung pengurangan kesenjangan sosial dan pembangunan kota yang berkeadilan.

Abstract

This research entitled "Internet of Things-Based Room Temperature Control Based on the Number of Occupants in a Room," aims to design and implement a room temperature control system that is responsive to the number of occupants in a room, using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. In this modern era, the need for thermal comfort in workspaces is increasingly important, especially in the context of efficient work environments. The proposed system utilizes ultrasonic sensors to detect the number of occupants and DHT22 sensors to monitor temperature and humidity. The collected data is then used to automatically adjust temperature settings, thereby creating a comfortable and energy-efficient environment. The results show that this system can improve occupant comfort and optimize energy use. Furthermore, integration with the ThingsBoard platform allows remote temperature monitoring and regulation, providing additional flexibility for users. Thus, this research is expected to provide an innovative solution for smarter and more efficient room temperature control.

Abstract

Budidaya jamur merupakan salah satu usaha agrikultur yang membutuhkan pemantauan kondisi lingkungan secara terus-menerus untuk memastikan pertumbuhan secara optimal dan kualitas hasil panen yang bagus. Perubahan kecil dalam suhu dan kelembaban dapat berdampak signifikan pada pertumbuhan jamur. Oleh karena itu, sistem monitoring yang efisien dan real-time sangat diperlukan. Pada penelitian ini dibuat sebuah sistem untuk memonitoring serta mengontrol suhu dan kelembaban pada ruang budidaya jamur. Pada sistem yang telah dibuat menggunakan sensor DHT22 untuk mengukur suhu dan kelembaban pada ruangan budidaya, hasil pengukuran akan ditampilkan melalui layar LCD. Ketika kondisi kelembaban salah satu sensor lebih kecil dari 85-90%, maka relay akan menghidupkan pompa, kemudian ketika kelembaban pada ruang budidaya lebih besar dari 85-90% maka pompa akan mati. Menjaga kondisi lingkungan sesuai dengan parameter ini dapat membantu memastikan pertumbuhan jamur kuping yang sehat dan produktif. Penggunaan sistem monitoring berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dapat sangat membantu dalam memantau dan mengatur kondisi ini secara real-time, sehingga memungkinkan tindakan korektif yang cepat jika diperlukan.

Abstract

Kebersihan toilet umum merupakan aspek krusial bagi kesehatan dan kenyamanan masyarakat, namun sering kali terdegradasi akibat perilaku pengguna yang tidak bertanggung jawab, seperti tidak menyiram setelah digunakan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan akumulasi urine yang memicu pelepasan gas amonia (NH₃) sebagai sumber utama bau tidak sedap. Ketergantungan pada metode pemantauan manual menjadikan manajemen kebersihan tidak efisien dan sering kali terlambat. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini mengusulkan sebuah sistem monitoring berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem ini dirancang dengan arsitektur master-slave yang andal, menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 sebagai unit pusat dan Arduino Nano sebagai node sensor di setiap bilik. Deteksi bau dilakukan menggunakan sensor gas MQ-135 untuk amonia, didukung oleh sensor DHT11 untuk data suhu dan kelembaban. Ketika konsentrasi amonia melampaui ambang batas yang ditentukan, sistem secara otomatis mengirimkan notifikasi real-time kepada petugas kebersihan melalui WhatsApp. Hasil pengujian lapangan selama enam jam di lokasi toilet umum menunjukkan kinerja sistem yang sangat baik. Ambang batas bau tidak sedap berhasil ditetapkan secara empiris pada konsentrasi >0.50 ppm. Sistem sukses mendeteksi 19 kejadian bau tidak sedap dengan rentang konsentrasi amonia antara 0,74–1,97 ppm, dengan puncak deteksi terjadi pada jam sibuk dan memberikan notifikasi secara konsisten dalam waktu hanya 1 detik.

Abstract

There has been an increase in discussion about gender mainstreaming-related issues on media. Mass media producers’ awareness about gender equity has remained questionable, even regarded as not presenting gender equity as expected. This study attempts to focus on how the production of news programs in Radio Sonora Semarang regarding the issue of gender equality, particularly to what extent the role of women in the process of radio program production. Using a qualitative approach and conducting interviews with Radio Sonora's journalists and the production program team, the findings have revealed that Radio Sonora Semarang highly upholds the values of gender equality in the production process of its programs. There has been mutual respect amongst media workers both men and women in the radio Sonora during program production process. Indeed, women can take roles equally to men without leaving their nature as women.

Abstract

Environmental change and lack of waste management efforts now become crucial issues that often go unnoticed and can be fatal to society. The existence of Solo Bersih Community (KSB) is a non-profit organization that emerged with a movement to create concern for the environment and waste in Solo City (Surakarta) to bring a change in people's behavior for the better. This study aims to determine the application of social marketing by KSB. This research is also supported by social marketing theory, conducted qualitatively descriptive with case study method. The main data obtained from the study were sourced from interviews and observations. A literature study was conducted to find supporting data. This research resulted in findings of four important points that become a benchmark for the success of KSB’s social marketing, including the implementation of persuasive activities in campaigning public awareness, applying four levels of communication approach to target adopters in delivering campaign messages and building strong community representatives, the role of stakeholders in collaborating on program implementation, and sufficient access to information media as a transmission channel for delivering messages to the public. KSB also optimizes four communication strategies, namely redundancy, canalizing, informative, and educative. It can be concluded that social marketing in a community is the key to changing people's behavior if it can be applied with effective communication strategies.

Abstract

The use of Instagram social media has increased to the private level, such as Nature Tourism which has visitors with the characteristics of finding out all Nature Tourism information through Instagram. Therefore, it is necessary to manage social media content to become a means of communication between the company and its audience. This research uses interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman. The theory used is The Circular Model of Some by Regina Luttrell in her book Social Media How to Engage, Share, and Connect. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are observation and interviews with key informants, namely the management team of tourism social media and the informant is the head of the social media management team. This research uses source triangulation for data validity techniques. The results show that managing Instagram content starts with understanding the purpose of using social media and addressing issues on content posted by tourism. The optimize aspect includes time, content analysis, and understanding of Instagram branding strategies. The management aspect is done by creating a posting schedule, and management control is used to assess and be responsible for the management of the company. In the engage aspect, establishing a good relationship with the online community (followers) to get Instagram exposure on the content created.
