Abstract

This study aims to comparatively examine the role of Scout and Flag-Raising Troop (Paskibra) extracurricular activities in strengthening students’ nationalism. The research employed a quantitative approach using a causal-comparative design. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation involving students who were both active and inactive in Scout and Paskibra activities. The sample consisted of 98 students selected proportionally based on their participation. Data analysis was conducted using the Mann-Whitney U test due to the non-normal distribution. The results revealed that participation in Paskibra had a significant positive impact on students’ nationalism, whereas participation in Scout activities showed no significant effect. However, students actively involved in Paskibra had relatively higher nationalism scores compared to other groups. These findings emphasize that the effectiveness of extracurricular activities in fostering nationalist character is highly influenced by the quality of student engagement and the nature of the program. Therefore, structured, consistent, and value-oriented extracurricular programs such as Paskibra can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen students' nationalism in schools.

Abstract

This study focuses on the role of the principal in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 9 Mataram, with two main research questions: (1) How is the principal's role in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 9 Mataram? and (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum? This qualitative descriptive research collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving the principal, vice principals of curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, student affairs, and teachers. The data were analyzed using three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings: (1) The principal plays several roles in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, including as an educator who guides, mentors, and evaluates teachers; as a leader who makes decisions and shows strong commitment; as a manager who oversees curriculum planning, implementation, organization, and evaluation; as a supervisor who monitors and assesses teacher performance; and as a motivator who continuously encourages teachers to stay enthusiastic in supporting the success of the curriculum. (2) The supporting factors include the availability of adequate facilities, good coordination, and a reward and punishment system, while the inhibiting factors involve teachers who lack understanding and digital literacy, which hinders innovation and alignment with the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan tradisi Kalei Bunti dalam pernikahan suku Mbojo serta makna simbolis pada tradisi Kalei Bunti. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis etnografi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tradisi Kalei Bunti dalam pernikahan suku Mbojo studi di Desa Bolo Kabupaten Bima memiliki beberapa rangkaian kegiatan. 1) Kegiatan pada tahap persiapan yang meliputi: (a) Musyawarah persiapan pelaksanaan, (b) Persiapan alat dan bahan. 2) Pada kegiaatan inti yang meliputi: (a) Wura Bongi Monca, (b) Hadrah, (c) Kalei Bunti. 3) Tahap Penutup. Kemudian terdapat makna simbolis pada tradisi Kalei Bunti yang meliputi: 1) Makna simbol Visual yang meliputi: (a) Makna simbol pada pakaian adat, (b) Makna simbol pada tandu, (c) Makna simbol pada Bongi Monca. 2) Makna simbol peristiwa/kejadian yang meliputi: (a) Makna simbol perempuan yang di usung, (b) Makna simbol tradisi Kalei Bunti yang dilaksanakan sebelum Akad.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to increase student activity through the application of the learning model.Problem Based Learning on the Pancasila Education subject in class XI TBKR 2 SMKN 1 Selong. This study used Classroom Action Research. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles and through the application of the modelProblem Based Learningto achieve the desired success target. The results of this study indicate that in Cycle I the implementation of learning showed a figure of 66.6% then increased in Cycle II to 88.8%. Meanwhile, student activity in Cycle I reached 50% then increased in Cycle II to 87.5%. With these results, it can be said that the Classroom Action Research conducted successfully met the success indicator of 80%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement in civic education learning outcomesthrough the implementation of Active Learning model of the Role ReversalQuestion type among Class VIII A students at SMPN 21 Mataram. The researchemployed a classroom action research design. The subjects of the study were 32students of Class VIII A. Data collection methods included test, observation, anddocumentation. The instruments used were tests and observation sheets. Datawere analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. Thesuccess indicator of the action was set at ≥75% of students achieving a minimumscore of 75. The results showed an improvement in Civic Education learningoutcomes after applying the Active Learning model of the Role Reversal Questiontype in both Cycle I and Cycle II. In Cycle I, 37.5% of students scored ≥75, whichincreased by 56.25% to 93.75% in Cycle II. The average student score alsoincreased from 72.53 in Cycle I to 82.62 in Cycle II, reflecting an improvement of10.09 points. These findings indicate that the Role Reversal Question type ofActive Learning is effective in enhancing students Civic Education learningoutcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Faktor-faktor penyebab pernikahan usia anak di Desa Setanggor Kecamatan Sukamulia Kabupaten Lombok Timur; (2) Dampak pernikahan usia anak di Desa Setanggor Kecamatan Sukamulia Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor penyebab pernikahan usia anak di Desa Setanggor Kecamatan Sukamulia Kabupaten Lombok Timur adalah: (1) faktor individu, yaitu anak menikah di usia anak dikarenakan atas kemauannya sendiri tanpa ada paksaan dari siapapun. (2) faktor pendidikan, yaitu rendahnya tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan orang tua menyebabkan mereka cenderung menikahkan anaknya di usia anak. (3) faktor sosial budaya, yaitu lingkungan dan adat istiadat. Dampak pernikahan usia anak di Desa Setanggor Kecamatan Sukamulia Kabupaten Lombok Timur memiliki dua dampak, yaitu dampak positif dan negatif. Dampak positif terdiri dari tiga dampak yakni: (1) menghindari zina, (2) mendewasakan diri, (3) belajar bertanggung jawab. Sedangkan dampak negatif meliputi: (1) dampak ekonomi, yaitu anak yang menikah di usia anak mengalami kesulitan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari dikarenakan belum mapan secara finansial. (2) dampak kesehatan, yaitu anak yang menikah di usia anak mengalami gangguan kesehatan selama mengandung, hingga melahirkan sebelum waktunya yang menyebabkan anak terlahir prematur dan mengalami stunting.

Abstract

Mangan klor merupakan salah satu tradisi yang ada di Kecamatan Lenek dimana tradisi mangan klor diwujudkan dalam bentuk membagikan nasi dan lauk kepada tetangga di sekitaran lingkungan tempat tinggal yang memiliki acara gawe. Setiap ada acara Begawe pasti ada yang namanya mangan klor yang dilakukan khususnya masyarakat Lenek Lombok Timur. Tujuan diadakanya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam mangan klor dalam sebuah tradisi begawe pada masyarakat di Kecamatan Lenek Lombok Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasli penelitian menunjukan bahwa mangan klor dalam tradisi begawe pada masyarakat di Kecamatan Lenek memiliki dua tahapan yakni pra acara dan acara puncak. Masing-masing tahapan memiliki rangkaian. Mangan klor biasa dilakukan pada saat ada acara begawe dan dilaksakan selama 7 hari. Keunikan pada tradisi ini adalah saat proses mangan klor dimana masyarakat duduk berbaris dengan rapi di tepi jangan untuk menunggu diberikan nai dan lauk. Selain itu pada mangan klor dalam tradisi begawe pada msyarakat di Kecamatan Lenek memiliki beberapa nilai yang terkandung didalamanya. Nilai tersebut antara lain; Nilai kebersamaan, nilai tolong menolong, nilai keindahan, dan nilai kebudayaan.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the principles of transparency, accountability, participation and factors that take into account the principles of transparency, accountability, participation based on Law Number 6 of 2014 in Pernek Village, Moyo Hulu District, Sumbawa Besar Regency. The subjects of this study were the Village Head, Head of Finance, Village Secretary. The subjects of this study were selected based on the timing of the administration in Pernek Village, Moyo Hulu District, Sumbawa Besar Regency. The informants in the study were traditional leaders, religious leaders, community leaders. The data techniques used, observation, and documentation. The results show that 1) The application of the principles of transparency, accountability, participation is in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2014 in Pernek Village, Moyo Hulu District, Sumbawa Besar Regency, this can be seen in the activities of implementing village governance, which are carried out by village officials, 2) Factors that influence the application of the principles of transparency, participatory accountability, in the Pernek Village are internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include facilities, understanding, village government programs. Then external factors in the form of community cooperation, community ideas, leadership of the village head.

Abstract

The problem of plastic waste is an environmental issue that requires addressing through public policy as a regulatory-based control instrument. This study aims to analyze the implementation of East Lombok Regency Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2021 concerning the limitation of plastic waste generation through the INGES Waste Bank Program in developing ecological citizens, and to identify the driving and inhibiting factors of its implementation. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of the Regional Regulation was carried out through four main programs: waste management socialization, a waste sorting movement from home, exchanging waste for WiFi vouchers, and processing waste into useful items. The implementation of these programs has resulted in increased environmental knowledge, environmental skills, environmental ethics, and environmental participation, reflecting the strengthening of ecological citizenship in the community. Driving factors for implementation include the existence of clear policy regulations and a strong commitment from the Dasan Lekong Village Government and the INGES Waste Bank management. Factors inhibiting implementation include budget limitations to support program facilities and infrastructure, practical lifestyles of people who maintain the use of single-use plastics, and unequal public awareness.
