Abstract

One of the efforts in children's health services to prevent disease is the basic immunization program. Determining the type of immunization is based on expert studies and epidemiological analysis of diseases that arise. This research aims to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and the provision of basic immunizations in PMB Rini, Sunggal District in 2023. This type of research is research using an analytical survey with a cross sectional method approach. . The population is all mothers who have 1 year old babies registered in PMB Rini, Sunggal District, totaling 42 people. The number of samples used was 42 people obtained using the total sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses chi square. The results obtained in this study were that from 42 respondents, there was a relationship between the maternal knowledge variable and the provision of basic immunization with a value of p = 0.023. It is recommended that the community health center increase the knowledge of mothers who have 1 year old babies to increase education regarding the provision of basic immunization.

Abstract

Breast milk is the best food for babies which contains white blood cells, proteins and immune substances that are suitable for babies. Breast milk is very suitable for meeting the baby's needs in all respects, namely carbohydrates in the form of lactose, polyunsaturated fatty acids, lactalbumin protein which is easily digested, contains lots of vitamins and minerals, a calcium phosphate ratio of 2:1 which is an ideal condition for calcium absorption, and contains anti-infective substances. This research aims to determine the relationship between attitudes and knowledge of breastfeeding mothers and exclusive breastfeeding for babies 0-6 months in Gunung Paribuan Village, Deli Serdang Regency in 2023. This type of research is research using an analytical survey with a cross method approach. sectional. The population is all mothers who have babies 0-6 months in Gunung Paribuan Village, Deli Serdang Regency, totaling 61 people. The number of samples used was 61 people obtained using the total sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses chi square. The results obtained in this study were that from 61 respondents, there was a relationship between the attitude of breastfeeding mothers and exclusive breastfeeding for babies 0-6 months old, showing that the p value = 0.012 < 0.05. There is a relationship between Mother's Breastfeeding Knowledge and Exclusive Breastfeeding for Babies 0-6 Months, showing that the p value = 0.002 < 0.05. It is recommended for Health Workers to increase education regarding Exclusive Breastfeeding.

Abstract

Introduction: The most common anemia in pregnancy is iron anemia, this is caused by a lack of iron intake in food due to reabsorption disorders, digestive disorders and bleeding. Method: counseling for targets is carried out orally. Results: Participants in this activity were all 46 pregnant women who visited PMB Lismayani Lubis, Simalungun Regency. Conclusion: From the results of the counseling, it was found that there were still pregnant women who did not receive enough support from their families in consuming Fe tablets, especially in reminding them of the schedule for taking Fe tablets. This community service has been carried out from August-October 2023, for exactly 3 months

Abstract

Background Exclusive breastfeeding in the world is still very low. The problem is that mothers do not breastfeed their babies on the first day because of the mother's fear of not having enough breast milk, flat nipples, swollen breasts, breast abscesses, sore or cracked nipples. This pain will make a mother become stressed. The aim of this community service program (PKM) is to increase the empowerment of husbands in carrying out oxytocin massage for breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the independent midwife practice of Rimenda Br Tarigan, Medan Denai District in 2024. The method used is counseling on targets carried out verbally. The results are based on the results of the service implementation. Participants in this activity were postpartum mothers who visited the Rimenda Br Tarigan Independent Midwife Practice as many as 46 people.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition of hemoglobin (Hb) levels in the blood (Hb <11gr/dl) caused by a lack of nutrients needed for the formation of hemoglobin. This condition causes new problems for babies, such as low birth weight, decreased immune status, possible physiological disorders, and infant growth and development. This study aims to determine the Relationship between Parity and the Incidence of Anemia in Pregnant Women at PMB Pratama Madina Medan Tembung, Deli Serdang Regency in 2024. This type of research is an analytical survey study with a cross-sectional method approach. The population is all pregnant women at PMB Pratama Madina Medan Tembung as many as 30 people. The number of samples used was 30 people obtained using the Total sampling technique. The data analysis technique used chi square. the results obtained in this study were from 30 respondents, there was a relationship between Parity and the Incidence of Anemia in Pregnant Women showing that the p value = 0.015 <0.05. It is recommended for Health Workers to increase counseling related to the Incidence of Anemia in Pregnant Women.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a special condition for a woman as a prospective mother, because during pregnancy there will be physical changes that affect her life. During pregnancy there will be many changes, both physical, social and mental changes. Pregnant women must have adequate nutrition, because the nutrition obtained will be used for themselves and their fetuses. For pregnant women, basically all nutrients require additional, but what is often lacking is protein energy and some minerals such as iron. This study aims to determine the Factors That Influence Pregnant Women in Carrying Out Breast Care at the Aramo Health Center UPTD in 2023. This type of research is an analytical survey study with a cross-sectional method approach. The population is pregnant women with a total of 52 people in April-May 2023. The number of samples used was 52 people obtained using the Total sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses chi square. the results obtained in this study were from 42 respondents, there was a Relationship between Education and Breast Care at the Aramo Health Center UPTD in 2023 showing that the p value = 0.032 <0.05. there was a Relationship between Age and Breast Care at the Aramo Health Center UPTD in 2023 showing that the p value = 0.024 <0.05. there was a Relationship between Parity and Breast Care at the Aramo Health Center UPTD in 2023 showing that the p value = 0.021 <0.05. there was a Relationship between Knowledge and Breast Care at the Aramo Health Center UPTD in 2023 showing that the p value = 0.021 <0.05. there was a Relationship between Attitudes towards Breast Care at the Aramo Health Center UPTD in 2023 showing that the p value = 0.021 <0.05. It is recommended for Health Workers to increase counseling related to Breast Care.

Abstract

Infancy between the ages of 6-24 months is a golden age for child growth and development. This period is a good opportunity for parents to strive for optimal child growth and development. One effort that parents can make to achieve this is through good and correct parenting patterns given to children. This study aims to determine the Relationship between Mother's Knowledge and Attitudes with the Provision of Complementary Foods (MP-ASI) to Children Aged 6-24 Months at PBM Susi Rini Safitri, Simalungun Regency in 2023. This type of research is an analytical survey study with a cross-sectional method approach. The population is all mothers who have children aged 6-24 months as many as 42 people. The number of samples used was 42 people obtained using the Total sampling technique. The data analysis technique used chi square. the results obtained in this study are from 42 respondents, there is a relationship between maternal attitudes and the Provision of Complementary Food for Breast Milk (MP-ASI) in Children Aged 6-24 Months shows that the p value = 0.000 <0.05. there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and the Provision of Complementary Food for Breast Milk (MP-ASI) in Children Aged 6-24 Months shows that the p value = 0.012 <0.05. Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months and continuing for 2 years in addition to providing adequate complementary foods (MP ASI) has been proven to be an effective intervention that can reduce infant mortality. This study aims to determine the relationship between oxytocin massage and breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the Madiri Rimenda Br Tarigan Midwife Practice, Medan Denai District in 2023. This type of research is research using an analytical survey with a cross sectional method approach. The population was all post partum mothers who visited the Madiri Rimenda Br Tarigan Midwife Practice, Medan Denai District, totaling 34 people. The number of samples used was 34 people obtained using the total sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses chi square. The results obtained in this study were that from 34 respondents, there was an effect of oxytocin massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers, showing that the p value = 0.000 < 0.05. It is recommended for Health Workers to increase education regarding Exclusive Breastfeeding.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the third trimester at the Laubaleng Community Health Center, Karo Regency in 2023. This type of research is research using an analytical survey with a cross sectional method approach. The population is all pregnant women in the third trimester of the Laubaleng Community Health Center, Karo Regency, namely 58 people. The number of samples used was 58 people obtained using the total sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses chi square. The results obtained in this study were that from 58 respondents, there was an influence between maternal age and the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women, showing that the p value = 0.001 < 0.05. There is an influence between maternal education and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the third trimester, showing that the p value = 0.021 < 0.05. There is an influence between maternal knowledge and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the third trimester, showing that the p value = 0.010 < 0.05. There is an influence between maternal parity and the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women, showing that the p value = 0.038 < 0.05. It is recommended for health workers to increase education regarding anemia in pregnant women.
