Abstract

Abstrack: The background of this study is students low in mathematical of VII grade at SMP Negeri 4 Mandau. The aimed of study is to find out whether there is significant effect of using “problem based learning model” toward students mathematical of VII grade at SMP Negeri 4 Mandau. The study employed the pre-experimental research focus on the static group comparison study design. The sampling of technique was purposive. The samples were two classes that have been purposive sampling after normality test and homogeneity test with the class as an experimental class and control class as a class. There were two sampling in this study; the experimental class was using “problem based learning model” and the control class with scientific approach learning. Data analysis technique used was t-test . Based on the final results of data processing obtained t > t table (1.714 > 1.666) meaning that the application of methods of problem based learning affect learning outcomes in mathematics class VII SMP Negeri 4 Mandau on the material algebra. The finding of this research showed experimental class better than control class (78.13 > 71.13). So, it can be concluded there was significant effect of using problem based learning model toward student’s mathematical of VII grade at SMP Negeri 4 Mandau on the first semester academic years 2016/2017 on the material algebra.Key Word : The result of mathematical, problem based learning model, pre-experimental research.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study is the restrict of mathematic learning instruments as supporting learning referring to Curriculum 2013. This study aimed to develop mathematics learning instruments with guided discovery model on circle’s topic for 8th grade SMP/MTs. Learning instruments which will be developed in this study are syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheet. This study method used is ADDIE model by Dick and Carey that consist of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Test instruments that used in this study are validation instrument that is validation sheets to evaluate the advisability of syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheet and then practicality instrument that is questionnaire which will be filled up by students to evaluate practicality of student worksheet. Learning instruments that has been developed is being validated by three validators and being tested in a small test group consist of five on June 9th–10th, 2016 in SMPN 1 Pekanbaru for student worksheet. Based on the data analysis, it can be conclude that mathematics learning instruments is very valid with mean score of syllabus is 4,49, for lesson plans is 4,31, and for student worksheet is 4,22. This student worksheet also valued as very practical with mean percentage of student responses is 4,87 with 97%.Key Word: Mathematics Learning Instrument, Guided Discovery Model, Research andDevelopment, ADDIE Model

Abstract

Abstract. The research was conducted in the sixth grade in second semester of academic year 2014/2015, in the first cycle of action is refers to measure the implementation of cooperative learning NHT structural approach, further in second cycle, the action taken is based on the reflection of the first cycle. Each cycle has four statges were sequenced are: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. From the data analysis of students’ mathematics learning outcomes, is an increase in students’ mathematics learning outcomes both in the first and the second cycle. In the first cycle the learning outcomes increased by 23,81% from the the base value before implementation measures. However, in the first cycle the percentage of students who reached the KKM is still beloq 75% so that researchers are trying to fixed the learning process by coninuing the action in the second cycle. In the second cycle also applied cooperative learning NHT, structural approach. Clasically, the students’ test socers who reached KKM in the second cycle increased by 19.05% from the students’ test score in cycle I. Based on the data analysis that obtained during the research and discussion in chapter IV, it conclude that the implementation of cooperative learning structural. Approach numbered heads together (NHT) can improve the students’ mathematics learning outcomes in clas VI.B SDN 007 Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu of academic year 2014/2015 on the basis competence simplify and sort the fractions, convert the fractions form to decimal form.Keywords: Mathematics learning outcome, Cooperative learning, Numbered Heads Together

Abstract

bstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and learning outcomes math class VIII B Hubbulwathan MTs Duri by applying Cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type. The subjects were students of class VIII B with heterogen academic ability. This research is a class action with two cycles. Each cycle has four steps, the steps are the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Results showed activity sheets and teacher observation of students have not done well yet after taking action. There is no improvement in thestudents learning process and no increasing in the number of students who achieved at UH minimum completeness criteria end of each cycle compared to the number of students who achieve minimum completeness criteria on base score. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can not improve the process of learning and improving mathematics learning out comes of VIII B Student in the MTS Hubbulwathan Duri on second semester of academic year 2013/2014, because the students do not master the prerequisites lessons as supporting material of the subject being studied.Keywords: Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: Based of this research is the student‘s learning result in mathematics grade III SDN 112 Pekanbaru under the Mastery Minimum Criteria. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathermatics by applying the model of cooperative student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Subjects in this research were student of class 111 SDN 112 Pekanbaru that were 37 students consisting 22 boys and 15 girls. This reseatch is a class action research by two cycles. Each cycle has four phases, they were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research instrument which consists of learning tools, which are Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plans, and Student Worksheer. The data analysis technique utilized comsist of descriptive data analysis technique which is divided into qualitative and quantitative data analysis technique. The result from this research shows the activity of the teacher and student had performend well after has been made. An increase in the number of students who received grades of 20 and 30 as many as 26 students on first cycle and 28 students on second cycle. That is also an increase in the number of students who achieve a score of  KKM on the base. The development of the results of this research indicate that the application of the cooperative Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve the learning process and improve studen’s learning resuits in the class III SDN 112 Pekanbaru  on the academic year 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research were 37 students of class VII1 SMPN 8 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018, consist of 17 boys and 20 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced and actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (29,73%) to the first test (51,35%) to the second test II (72,97%). For the skills of basic score the first test (35,14%) to the second test (54,05%), Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning model of Problem Based Learning can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VII1 SMPN 8 Pekanbaru in academic years 2017/2018 for the subject matter the set.Key Words : Mathematics Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action resesarch that aim to improve the mathematics learning outcomes with applied the learning cooperative model of Numbereds Heads Together (NHT)type. The research consist of two cycles, each cycles has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is students of class VIIA SMP Negeri 35 Pekanbaru in academic years 2018/2019, which amounted to 40 students consist of 16 boys and 24 girls. The instrument of data collection in this research were observation sheets and student mathematic test. The observation sheet were analyzed in qualitative descriptive, while the students mathematic test were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. Most of students were very confidenced and activated in learning process, such as while there were finished mathematic’s problem that given, presenting the result of problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test and second test. The results of this research showed an increasing number of student learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (42,5%) to the first test (52,5%) to the second test (57,5%). Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to improve the learning process and improve the learning outcomes of students of class VIII MTS Nahdiyah Tapung Hilir odd semester of the academic year 2017/2018. Form of research conducted is action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. The subjects consisted of 14 male students and 21 female students with heterogeneous ability. Instrument in this research of development there are 2 that is learning devuce and instrument dara collection. Instrument of data collection in this research is observation sheet and test of mathematics learning result. The observation sheets were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, while the mathematics learning outcomes were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. From the qualitative analysis it can be seen that there is improvement of learning process from before action to cycle I and cycle II. Students are seen actively participating and becoming more independent in the learning process. The results of this study indicate the number of students who reached the KKM increased from the basic score of 16 students (45.71%) to UH I amounted to 28b people 80%) and UH 2 amounted to 31 people (88,57%)..The result of this research shows that applying cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) approach can improve learning process and can remind learning result mathematics students of class VIII MTS Nahdiyah Tapung Hilir academic year 2017/2018 on the subject matter of analyze data besed on data attribution, mean, median, mode and data distribution to take conclusion. And explain the empirical an theoretical opportunies of an event from an experiment.Keywords: Mathematics learning outcomes, Cooperative learning, Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to develop computer-based learning media assisted by worksheet for derivative of algebra function. Development model using 4D model by Thiagarajan,et al there are (1) Define; (2) Design; (3) Develop; and (4) Disseminate. This research is limited to develop stage. On define stage, researcher make need analysis, on design stage make the paper based design, and on develop stage, media made by using Microsoft Office Power Point, then validated by four validators and revised based on validator's suggestion. Media was tested at two steps in class XI SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, there are small group test with six students and large group test with class XI MIA 10. Based on the results of data analysis obtained the result validation of media is 3,65 means very valid with the details are 3,56 for material aspect, 3,83 for learning aspect, 3,68 for program aspect, and 3,62 for display aspect, whereas for worksheet is 3,66 means very valid. Based on students questionnaire obtained the percentage of practicallity is 95,83% means very practice in small group test with the details 100% for material aspect, 97,2% for learning aspect, 91,67% for program aspect, and 91,67% language aspect. On the large group test obtained 94,25% means very practice with details are 92% for material aspect, 95,3% for learning aspect, 92% for program aspect, and 100% for language aspect. It can be concluded that computer-based learning media assisted by worksheet for derivative of algebra function are very valid and very practice for every aspects.Key Words: Computer-Based Learning, Research and Development, Derivative of Algebra Function.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop a practical computer-based learning media model of an interactive tutorial on the topic of Relation and Fungtion. This study use research and development (R & D) method. Development model used in this study is a model of educational Plomp consists of four stages (phases), namely: (1) the initial research, (2) design, (3) the realization phase, (4) the testing evaluation and review phase. The data analysis technique that is used is the quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the model of computer-based instructional interactive tutorial has praktical. Because these media is very valid, considered to be experts with an average value of 3.54 and this media have a very good assessment result from the achievement and response quetioner with the average rating score 92.19%.Key words: Computer-Based Learning Media, Interactive Tutorial, Research And Development (R&D), Practical,
