Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi keefektifan Word Wall Media sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran berbasis kuis dalam pengajaran penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Singaraja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain post-test control group design, penelitian ini melibatkan 2 kelas dengan jumlah siswa 64 orang. Beberapa instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, seperti nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa dalam penelitian ini, yang menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen memperoleh nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi yaitu 74,21 dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata 59,53. Uji t menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yang berarti Word Wall berbasis kuis berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pencapaian kosakata siswa. Sebagai kesimpulan, penggunaan Word Wall Media sebagai metode pembelajaran berbasis kuis memberikan hasil yang baik terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa. Penelitian ini mendukung penggunaan teknologi permainan sebagai metode inovatif dalam pendidikan, yang memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih dinamis dan interaktif, serta memotivasi siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode design thinking berbantuan media smart box dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Caringin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimen, yang membandingkan dua kelompok yang dipilih secara tidak acak. Semua siswa kelas VIII masuk kedalam populasi penelitian. Sampel dipilih secara sengaja (purposive sampling), yaitu kelas VIII-9 sebagai kelompok eksperimen (32 siswa) dan VIII-10 sebagai kelompok kontrol (32 siswa). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes awal (pretest), tes akhir (posttest), dan observasi. Hasil uji statistik dengan independent t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi <0,001, lebih kecil dari 0,05, yang menunjukkan ada perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Selain itu, uji N-Gain menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks pidato dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,68 setelah penerapan metode design thinking berbantuan smart box. Abstract

All aspects of community life, whether political, social, cultural, or economic, are regulated by law. Therefore, the existence of this law is universal. Development and reform give rise to social changes that give rise to social problems, which puts pressure on the law because the law must be able to overcome these problems. The aim of this research is to analyze social changes in the development of law in Indonesia. This research uses a statutory approach, also called a statutory approach. The results of this research show that law and social change have a close interaction in the context of social change. Both have an impact on each other. Changes in law are influenced by changes in society, and vice versa. Social transformation in society is influenced by legal changes as well. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, social changes in the development of law in Indonesia are: 1) Law Number 11 of 2008 was born, which regulates electronic information and transactions. Law plays two important roles in social change: law as a tool of social control and a technique of social engineering; 2) institutions have an important role in society; the existence of Rukun Warga (RW) and Rukun Tetangga (RT) officials as well as Village Government institutions is also crucial. The role of the village government and RT-RW can be utilized to empower the community effectively in carrying out prevention. 3) Providing legal understanding refers to awareness of the rules established by written law for behavior, namely what the community can and cannot do.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of students and teachers at SDN 3 Tumbang Tahai, Palangka Raya City, in managing organic and non-organic waste. The activity was carried out on August 7, 2025, through several stages, namely preparation, counseling, demonstration, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The counseling method was used to provide conceptual understanding regarding types of waste and their environmental impacts, while demonstrations and practical activities on waste sorting and processing organic waste into compost were conducted to instill applicable skills in the participants. The results show that participants were able to identify the differences between organic and non-organic waste, practice proper waste sorting, and understand the basic composting process. Teachers also gained new insights that have the potential to be integrated into learning activities and environmentally friendly school programs. Overall, this activity contributed positively to fostering environmentally conscious behavior in the school and supported efforts to create a clean, healthy, and sustainable learning environment.

Abstract

Education is critical because, without education, it is difficult for society to develop and will be left behind. Education is one of the efforts to improve the quality of human energy sources, encompassing both physical, mental, and spiritual aspects. The problem-based learning (PBL) learning model is one of the learning models that can help students develop their critical thinking skills to solve problems. This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this study is a literature review. A total of 15 relevant articles were selected and analyzed to determine the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' critical thinking skills. The results of this literature review indicate that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has a significant impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. Through Problem-Based Learning (PBL), students engage in a real-world problem-solving process, encouraging them to think analytically, critically, and creatively.
