Abstract

This study examines the curriculum and learning processes implemented at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan and Pembangunan Islamic Elementary School, focusing on integrating character values. Utilizing a qualitative research methodology, the investigation collects data through in-depth interviews, direct observations of classroom activities, and analyses of relevant documents, all aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the educational practices at these institutions. The findings indicate that both Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pembangunan and Bina Insani Elementary School exhibit distinctive learning characteristics that set them apart from other Islamic educational institutions. The academic policies at these schools have successfully embraced digital learning models that are closely aligned with character education. This approach effectively fosters essential character values among students, including a heightened sense of responsibility and a strong discipline regarding the appropriate use of information technology. The results suggest that the integration of digital learning with character education can substantially enhance the overall development of students within Islamic educational environments.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process and analyze the impacts of online and offline learning at SDN Makassar 01 Pagi during the Covid-19 period. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this study with three instruments, interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation. The subjects were teachers of class IV of SDN Makassar 01 Pagi. The data were analyzed using Miles’ & Huberman’s analysis consisting of three steps, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions drawing/verification. The results indicated that SDN Makasar 01 Pagi implemented asynchronous online learning using WhatsApp and Google Classroom. At the same time, offline learning was carried out in that school with limited students and learning time by implementing health protocols and the media used, such as books, worksheets, teaching aids and media in the school environment. In addition, online and offline learning had positive and negative impacts. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dan menganalisis dampak pembelajaran online dan offline di SDN Makassar 01 Pagi pada masa Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tiga instrumen, yaitu pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas IV SDN Makassar 01 Pagi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Miles & Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga langkah yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDN Makasar 01 Pagi menerapkan pembelajaran online asinkron menggunakan WhatsApp dan Google Classroom. Sementara itu, pembelajaran luring dilaksanakan di sekolah dengan siswa dan waktu belajar yang terbatas serta menerapkan protokol kesehatan.Media yang digunakan seperti buku, LKS, alat peraga dan media di lingkungan sekolah. Selain itu, pembelajaran online dan offline memiliki dampak positif dan negatif.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and review several articles discussing students' learning difficulties in understanding material related to curved-sided geometric shapes in elementary schools. The research method employed is a literature study, in which data is collected from various scientific journals relevant to students' learning difficulties in comprehending curved-sided spaces. The findings indicate that students face multiple challenges, including difficulties in understanding basic concepts, remembering formulas, and applying appropriate problem-solving strategies. Common errors include procedural mistakes, difficulties in transforming information, and improper use of mathematical symbols. Factors contributing to these difficulties include a lack of interest in mathematics, the abstract nature of mathematical concepts, and insufficient practice in applying the concepts learned. This research is expected to serve as a recommendation for teachers and education practitioners to improve teaching methods and provide more intensive exercises to help students better understand the concepts related to curved-sided spaces.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cidokom 03 pada kelas IV yang diambil semple sebanyak 33 siswa dari jumlah populasi 37 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode mixed metode (Metode Campuran) deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada pembelajaran matematika materi FPB dan KPK berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep matematika yaitu Translation, Interpretation dan Exstrapolasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah sebanyak 10 butir soal essay pada materi FPB dan KPK. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa secara keseluruhan berdasarkan hasil rata-rata tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep sebesar 64.40% termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Urutan penguasaan berdasarkan indikator mulai dari prolehan tertinggi indikator translation 7,51%, indikator interpretation 6,54%, dan prolehan indikator terendah ekstrapolasi 2,00%. Sehingga secara keseluruhan berdasarkan hasil rata-rata pencapaian indikator adalah 5,35% dengan kategori cukup. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan pemahaman konsep pada penelitian ini di sebabkan karena faktor dari diri individu itu sendiri dan faktor keluarga dan lingkungan sekolah.    Kata Kunci: Pemahaman Konsep, Matematika, FPB dan KPK

Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk menanamkan keterampilan kewirausahaan adalah melalui kegiatan pembelajaran, termasuk dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi aritmatika sosial. Untuk memperjelas hal ini, penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan bagaimana pembelajaran matematika dengan fokus pada aritmatika sosial dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian kepustakaan (library research). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelaah buku, literatur, catatan, dan berbagai laporan terkait melalui sumber seperti Google Scholar, Research Gate, DOAJ, dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika, khususnya aritmatika sosial, dapat mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan siswa melalui berbagai metode, model, atau media pembelajaran yang mempercepat pemahaman siswa. Aritmatika sosial juga dapat menumbuhkan karakter serta minat wirausaha sebagai bekal masa depan siswa.

Abstract

An study of typical mathematical difficulties primary school pupils encounter while trying to grasp data presentation material is presented in this article. Through a qualitative method, this research seeks to identify the primary challenges faced by students and offer workable answers. The research approach is a study of the literature, looking at many publications from 2014 to 2024 with an emphasis on conclusion identification analysis. According to the findings, students' primary challenges include comprehending foundational mathematical ideas, lacking motivation and enthusiasm in their studies, and a dearth of useful resources and instructional strategies. Diagnostic assessments, project-based learning (PjBL), interactive teaching materials, the use of visual aids, regular evaluation and feedback, and the application of educational technology are some of the suggested remedies. These findings' practical ramifications emphasize the need for a better method of teaching mathematics to primary school pupils that emphasizes conceptual comprehension and contextual application.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Pembangunan Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dan desain penelitiannya adalah Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dipilih secara teknik cluster random sampling dimana sampel dipilih secara acak sehingga diperoleh kelas II E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas II F sebagai kelas kontrol. Pemahaman konsep mengacu kepada indikator pemahaman oleh Russefendi yaitu: translasi, interpretasi, dan ekstrapolasi. Instrumen tes berupa uraian berjumlah 6 soal dan instrumen nontes berupa lembar wawancara dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh nilai 0,003 yang bernilai 0,05 dan hasil perhitungan besaran pengaruh dengan nilai 0,42 kategori rendah. Jadi disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran TGT terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students' creative thinking ability in mathematics learning in elementary school. The research carried out is using a quantitative approach and the method used in this study is quasi-experimental. The research design used in this study is posttest only control design. This study compares the experimental class that applies the Problem Based Learning learning model with the control class that applies the Discovery Learning model. The population in this study is 74 students. The sample consisted of 49 students in grade IV of SDN Jurang Mangu Timur 02 with class IV B as an experimental class of 24 students and class IV C as a control class of 25 students. The data collection technique uses tests and documentation. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class was (84.70) higher than the average value of the control class of (71.00), with the calculation of (6.887) > ttable (2.013) at a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' creative thinking ability in elementary school grade IV mathematics learning.

Abstract

Abstract This study is aimed to analyze students’ conceptual understanding and their self-regulated learning in mathematics between students who are treated using the e-learning model web enhanced course and those who are taught with the power point and to find out the appropriate e-learning design in learning math for elementary school. This study was conducted through quasi-experiment with a pre test-post test control group design. The population of this study is all of the 5thgrade students of private Islamic Elementary School (MI) in Jakarta, while the sample is taken from two classes of the population. The instruments used in this study are the essay, questionnaire, and observation sheet. The results showed that 1) students’ conceptual understanding of mathematics using e-learning model web enhanced course is better than students who get the learning using power point, 2) students’ self-regulated learning treated using e-learning model web enhanced course is better than students’ who get the learning using power point, 3) e-learning design that fits in the learning of mathematics in primary schools is e-learning design, incorporating text, images, and animations as well as providing convenience for group discussion. Based on these results it can be concluded that the e-learning web-enhanced model affects the conceptual understanding of mathematics and self-regulated learning of elementary school students.   Abstrak Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pemahaman konseptual siswa dan pembelajaran mandiri dalam matematika antara siswa yang diperlakukan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis internet dan siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan power point dan untuk menemukan bentuk pembelajaran berbasis internet yang tepat dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk sekolah dasar. Studi ini diadakan melalui quasi-experiment dengan bentuk pre test dan post test. Populasi studi ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas 5 MI di Jakarta, sedangkan sampel diambil dari dua kelas dari keseluruhan populasi. Instrument yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah essay, questionnaire, dan lembar observasi. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) pemahaman konseptual siswa dalam matematika dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis internet lebih baik dari pada siswa yang belajar menggunakan power point, 2) pembelajaran mandiri siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis internet lebih baik dari pada siswa yang belajar menggunakan power point, 3) bentuk pembelajaran berbasis internet yang cocok dalam belajar matematika untuk sekolah dasar adalah bentuk pembelajaran berbasis internet, memasukan teks, gambar, dan animasi senyaman mungkin untuk diskusi kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis internet mempengaruhi pemahaman konseptual pelajaran matematika dan pembelajaran mandiri siswa sekolah dasar.   How to Cite : Arifin, F.
