Abstract

The aim of the study is to analyze the conceptual understanding and self regulated learning in mathematics between students who got the e-learning model web centric course and learning with the power point, and to find out the appropriate e-learning design in learning math for elementary school. The subject of this study is all of the 5th grade students of Islamic Elementary School (MI) private in Jakarta, while the sample is two classes of the population. The instruments used in this study are essay, questionnaire, and observation sheet. The results showed that 1) the conceptual understanding of mathematics students who get e-learning model web centric course better than students who get the learning using power point, 2) self regulated learning of students who get e-learning model web centric course better than students who get the learning using power point, 3) e- learning design that fits in the learning of mathematics in primary schools is an e-learning design, incorporating text, images and animations as well as providing convenience for group discussion. Based on these results it can be concluded that the e-learning web-centric model of course affect the conceptual understanding of mathematics and self regulated learning elementary school students.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is often one of the scary lessons for some students. SAVI is one of the solutions to overcome this problem because it is the way students learn, both students who tend to be audi, visual and audio-visual. This study measures the SAVI Approach (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, and intellectual) in Mathematical Communication. Research methods used are experimental quasi using Pre-test and Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Studies have shown that the ability of mathematical communication taught by the SAVI approach (somatic, visual, auditory, intellectual) is higher than that of a student-led with a collaborative process. Hypothesis testing was carried out with a significance level of 5%; the results of hypothesis testing on the results of the posttest data using independent t-samples obtained a sig post value of 0.002 <0.05, meaning that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The Savi approach (somatic, visual-auditory, intellectual) teaches the students mathematical communication abilities: 85% of the written text aspects, 69% of drawing aspects, and 79% of the mathematical expression.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media called Vennify for teaching Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM), as well as to assess its feasibility and effectiveness in enhancing the conceptual understanding of mathematics among fifth-grade students at SDN Jurang Mangu Timur 02. The research employed the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection instruments included validation questionnaires from media experts, subject matter experts, field practitioners, and conceptual understanding tests administered to students. The research findings indicate that the Vennify media received a feasibility score of 100% from the media expert (categorized as “Highly Feasible”), 78% from the subject matter expert (“Feasible”), and 100% from the field practitioner (“Highly Feasible”). A field trial was conducted involving 26 fifth-grade students, which revealed a significant improvement in their conceptual understanding of mathematics. This was evidenced by an increase in the average pre-test score of 59.49% to a post-test average of 82%. Based on these results, Vennify is deemed feasible and effective to be used as an alternative learning media to support the improvement of elementary students’ mathematical concept comprehension.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas strategi pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi dalam pembelajaran bilangan di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka, dengan mengkaji dan mendeskripsikan temuan dari 13 artikel jurnal nasional terakreditasi yang membahas pembelajaran bilangan pada jenjang sekolah dasar di Indonesia. Artikel yang dianalisis dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelusuran jurnal di mesin pencari ilmiah menggunakan kata kunci yang relevan, dan informasi dari masing-masing artikel diklasifikasikan berdasarkan media yang digunakan, serta hasil pembelajaran yang dicapai. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti Math Bilbul, Mathopoly, PowerPoint interaktif, Wordwall, chatbot, animasi, dan game edukatif secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan, motivasi belajar, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi inovatif berbasis teknologi merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dan relevan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bilangan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep persamaan garis lurus kerap menjadi tantangan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika, khususnya di tingkat Sekolah Dasar hingga menengah pertama. Rendahnya keterlibatan siswa, keterbatasan media visual, serta metode pembelajaran yang cenderung bersifat konvensional menjadi faktor utama terhambatnya penguasaan materi ini. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran media pembelajaran inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi persamaan garis lurus. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan systematic literature review, peneliti menganalisis delapan artikel ilmiah dari berbagai jurnal terakreditasi yang membahas penggunaan media seperti Canva, e-modul berbasis Android, video animasi, dan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang interaktif, visual, dan kontekstual mampu menjembatani kesenjangan antara bentuk aljabar dan representasi grafis, serta mendorong peningkatan motivasi, rasa percaya diri, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi media inovatif dalam pembelajaran matematika sangat penting untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan, serta relevan dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan peserta didik.

Abstract

The problem in learning flat shapes in elementary schools is that students' understanding of abstract geometric concepts is still lacking and students' learning motivation is weak. This research aims to analyze literature that examines the role of video media in increasing students' understanding and learning motivation, especially regarding the concept of plane shapes. The method used is a bibliographic review, collection and analysis of research published in the last 10 years. Selected studies were analyzed based on study aims, methods, population, results, and implications. The results of the literature review show that video learning media can increase students' understanding of the concept of plane figures and increase learning motivation. Learning videos provide clear and interactive visuals that help students better understand abstract concepts. The conclusion of this research is that video media has great potential to improve learning about forms of planning in elementary schools, but its implementation requires careful planning and adequate technical support. Apart from that, it is also important to train teachers to use video media to increase their effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Geoboard terhadap pemahaman konsep bangun datar pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 28 siswa kelas IV C sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang belajar menggunakan media Geoboard dan 25 siswa kelas IV A sebagai kelompok kontrol yang belajar menggunakan media PowerPoint, yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai berjumlah 8 soal untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep siswa. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji t menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media Geoboard terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun datar siswa sekolah dasar.
