Abstract

Abstract : Data Statistics Kominfo on 2016 shows that internet usage most by individual that is for open site social media as much as 73 , 3 %. Based on the phenomenon And also several of them have been captured acces the social media where the learning process. Based on phenomenon the researchers interested for do research with the title of " Use of Social Media and Habit Learn Student ". The purpose this research are : 1) to know the using social media among students, 2) to know the learning habits from students in using social media. The type quantitative descriptive. Population in the research were are students of social media users. Sample with random sampling technique are 82 samples. And the instrument in this research is questioner with likert scale. The result from this research showing that the highest duration of social media usage is 4-5 hours everyday. The most common type social media is facebook. The highest social media usage activity is for entertainment. The result of research showed a third of students whose using social media still concentrate or focusing during lesson. Based on results research recommended to the BK teacher in order to be able guide students for wise in using social media . Next to person old expected could give supervision to her children in using social media. And to social media users are expected more utilizing social media as needs cognitive or information of a nature positive .Key Words : Social Media, Study Habit

Abstract

Abstract: One of the problems that occur on adolescents at school is bullying.Bullying is something that should not occur due to the fact that one of bullying impacts is thedecreasing of students’ achievement at school and caused bad relationship in friendship.Therefore, its necessary to develop material services to be the material on Adolescentbullying behavior, and it sis expected to be applied by guidance and counseling teachers to beshared to their students. The objectives of this research are (1) to arrange the material onadolescent bullying behavior based on the clarity, the systematic, the supporting pictures, theinstruments, the novelty of material, and the supporting of game and video, (2) to know thematerial quality of adolescent bullying behavior. The material is arranged by using researchand development method, then it is experimented to the students with the time allocated is 4lesson hours (4 x 45’). This material is validated by first and second guidance lectures,guidance and counseling teachers,and the students of SMA 2 Pekanbaru. The materialsconsist of definition of bullying, adolescent time, the factors that influence bullying, thecomponents and the characteristics of bullying, the place where bullying take place, thenegative impact of bullying, and the strategies to inhibit bullying. The result of the materialdevelopment is the arrangement a self-adjustment module with the material quality is in“Very Good” category with the score obtained 4.34 for the whole aspects of assessment.Keywords: Guidance and counseling, Bullying behavior, Senior High School

Abstract

Abstract: Not optimal achievement of early adolescent development tasks at school. Therefore, researchers feel the need to examine the task of student development. The formulation of the problem in this research are: 1) how the achievement of the students 'overall development task 2) how to describe the achievement of the students' developmental achievement 3) how to describe the achievement of female students. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of achievement of early adolescent developmental tasks. The method used in this research is using descriptive quantitative. To collect data about the achievement of developmental tasks used inventory instrument development task Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI.2003).Keywords: Early Teen Development Tasks

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the description of students' self-confidence before and after being given a Role Playing technique, differences in students' confidence before and after being given a Role Playing technique and to increase students' self-confidence through group guidance. The research method used is a quantitative method with the type of pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest research. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru with low self-confidence, amounting to 7 people. The instruments of data collection used were questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the Non Parametric statistical technique using the Wilcoxon Test and the Spearman Rank Test. The results showed students 'confidence before being given role playing techniques through group guidance were mostly in the low category of 100% and after being given role playing techniques through group guidance students' self-confidence experienced an increase namely in the high category of 71, 40% and in the medium category 28.60%. Based on the Wilcoxon Test there are significant differences in student self-confidence before and after being given role playing techniques through group guidance with a significance value of 0.018 <α 0.05. Based on the Spearman Rank Test, it can be concluded that the relationship between role playing techniques through group guidance and student confidence is in the high category of 0.746 or 56%. Next to find out the detemination coefficient as follows: (rs) 2 = (0.746) 2 = 0.556. This means that the influence of role playin techniques through group guidance services to improve student self-confidence is 56% while 44% is influenced by other factors that originate in students and from the student environmentKey Words: Role Playing, Self Confidence,Group Guidance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance services on the readiness to return to the community for the child assisted children non-drug cases in pekanbaru children’s correctional institution. The research method used is pre experimental method using The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design pattern. The method used in group guidance is the technique of giving information. The subjects of this research is 7 children inmates non drug cases. This research was conducted by providing group guidance services for 5 meetings. The analysis used is Wilcoxon test and Rank Spearman test. The results showed that there was a difference in the level of readiness to return to the community before it was given group counseling service (Asymp sign was obtained at 0.018 where 0.018 <0.05 = significant). And there is also a significant effect of group counseling services on the readiness to return to the community (obtained Asymp Sign at 0.034 where 0.034 <0.05 = significant).Keyword : The Readiness to Return to the Community, Group Guidance, Children Inmates

Abstract

Abstract : In daily life, people always use their thinking power to solve the problems they face. The problem is solved with positive thinking. Therefore, the researcher feels the need to develop a material about Positive Thinking Ability of Student are expected to be used by guidance and counselling teachers to be taught to their students. This material is prepared using research and development (R & D) method. The purpose of this study is 1) The creation of material Positive Thinking Skills Stident viewed from clarity, systematics, images supported, upgrades, completeeness of material, and video/games. 2) To know the quality of material produced. This material is validated by leacturers 1 & 2, counselling teachers and 35 students of State Junior High School 13 Pekanbaru. This material is tested to students with allocation tie 3 hours lesson (4 x 40’). This material consists of understanding and Positive Thinking Theory, The Benefit of Positive Thinking, The Reality of Positive Thinking, How to Grow Positive Thoughts, How to Get Someone Applying the Concept of Positive Thinking in Life, and How to Grow positive Thinking Ability. The results of this material development show that the quality of the material produced is in the “Good” category, with a score of 4,08 for all aspects of the assessment.Keyword : Material Development, Ability, Positive Thinking

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims: 1) To determine the students' level overviewassertivity isolated before being given guidance services. 2) To know the description ofthe implementation process of group guidance to the increasing assertiveness ofstudents isolated in the experimental group. 3) To know the description assertivityincrease student isolated after the giving of guidance services group in the experimentalgroup. 4) To determine differences in the level of assertiveness of students isolatedbefore and after the implementation of guidance services group in the experimentalgroup. 5) To know the description of differences in levels of assertiveness isolatedstudents in the control group. 6) To know the effect of group counseling services to theincreasing assertiveness of students isolated. 7) To know the differences in the level ofassertiveness of students between the experimental group and the control group. Themethod used is an experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design.Subjek were students of class XI IPS SMA 2Tambang numbered 30 people students.Data technique were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test were performed with SPSS 16 isobtained Z = -2.840 and Asymp , Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.005. Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed)<0.05 (0.005 <0.05) Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means there is asignificant difference to the increasing assertiveness of students before to after the givengroup counseling services. And then coefficient Spearman correlation test through SPSS16 is obtained r2 = 0.437. Furthermore, the magnitude of the effect of group counselingservices to the increasing assertiveness of students isolated amounted to 43.7%.Keyword : group counseling services, assertivity

Abstract

Abstract : Based on preliminary observations conducted on students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru encountered phenomenon of gadget use among students has reached 90%, this has been troubling parents because many students are busy with gadgets so less time off and lack of communication with people around. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of gadget, and to know the picture of self-adaptation of students. The type of research used in this study is the type of descriptive quantitative research. Based on the results of the research, the use of gadgets in terms of duration of the use of gadgets most often use gadgets more than 10 hours a day, from the aspect of the purpose of use of gadgets most often use gadgets for shopping online, the influence of gadgets on the physical most often experienced by students is back pain due too long to bow. Adjustment in terms of the ability to control the highest emotional highs is able to express a sense of happiness in front of a friend. The aspect of overcoming the psychological mechanism is to tell the truth. Aspects are able to overcome frustration, avoid saying harshly. Rational and self-directed consideration is to ask a friend when he finds a difficult problem. The aspect of having the highest learning ability is to collect tasks on time. The aspect of making use of the experience of the past of the highest is preparing future plans and on the aspect of being objective and realistic the highest is being able to overcome limitations.Keywords: Gadget Use, Self-Adjustment

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research are 1) to analyze personal problems of male and female students, 2) to analyze emotional problems of male and female students, 3) to analyze learning problems, 4) to analyze family problem of male and female students, 5) to analyze social problems of male and female students, 6) to analyze the problems that experienced by male and female students in general, 7) to analyze the category of the students’ problems in general. The mean of collecting data is questioner. The using of this questioner is in order to obtain data regarding the preference of students’ problems based on personal, emotional, learning, family and social aspects. The subject of this research is all of the students of Junior High School Number 1 Kampar Subdistrict class VII and VIII that consist of 0f 200 students. Sampling is determined by applying total sampling, that all of the population members become the samples. The result shows that male students have more personal problems than female students do, the problem is “ feel being superiors in class “, 2) Male students experienced emotional problems more that female students do, the problem is “ feel nothing problem if their teachers get angry “, 3) Female students experienced learning problems more that male students do, the problem is “ feel afraid of parents’ anger if the get low achievements”, 4) Male students have more family problems than female students do, the problem is “Discussing the problems of children and parents on a certain days”, 5) Male students have more social problem than female students, the problem is “ other students look down upon them “, 6) The general problems experienced by male and female students are personal, emotional and learning problems, 7) In general, the problem that experienced by students is in few category.Keywords: students’ problems

Abstract

Abstract: The study is aimed at 1) finding out the description of personal problems experienced by male and female students; 2) finding out the description of emotional problems experienced by male and female students; 3) finding out the description of learning problems experienced by male and female students; 4) finding out the description of familial problems experienced by male and female students; 5) finding out the description of social problems experienced by male and female students; 6) finding out the description of the problems experienced by male and female students dealing with personal, emotional, learning, familial, and social aspects; 7) finding out the description of overall students' problems. The data dealing with student problem preferences based on personal, emotional, learning, familial, and social aspects were collected by using questionnaire. The subjects of the research are 216 8th Grade students of Kampar Timur State Islamic Junior High School whose choise were based on sex. The sampling technique is the total one. The research results showed that: 1) 70 moderate category male students (67%) and 79 moderate category female students (70%) experienced personal problems namely self confidence. 2) 70 moderate category male students (67%) and 73 moderate category female students (65%) experienced emotional problems namely sadness. 3) 73 moderate category male students (70%) experienced learning motivation and 93 moderate category female students (83%) experienced learning achievement problems. 4) 66 low category male students (63%) and 60 low category female students (54%) experienced familial problems namely relationship with parents. 5) 75 low category male students (72%) experienced social problems namely relationship with teachers and female students and 78 low category female students (70%) experienced social problems namely relationship with peer group. 6) The problems of personal, emotional, learning, familial, and social aspects experienced by male and female students are about learning motivation and they are still in moderate category. 7) In general, the problems experienced by male students and female students which are categorized high are emotional i.e. 16% dealing with sadness.Keywords: Problems of Students
