Abstract

Abstrak : His study aims to examine the effect of time projection techniques on academic procrastination of students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang and to determine the differences in academic procrastination of students in school before and after the time projection technique. Jeneis this research is a quantitative research with an experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. So that from these differences, can know the effect of time projection techniques on academic procrastination. The measuring instrument used in this study is the student academic procrastination measurement scale which consists of 56 items before being validated, and after validity there are 31 valid items with validity of 0.3610 and reliability of 0.882. The subject of this study amounted to 8 people selected through the results of non probability sampling techniques at SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang that were identified as having academic procrastination of students in the very high and high categories. Data processing that has been done can be concluded as follows: student academic procrastination before the projection technique when there are three people classified as very high and five people classified as high category. After being given the projection technique when there is a change in academic procrastination of students in one person is classified as moderate and seven people are classified as low categories. Time projection techniques have a significant positive effect on academic procrastination.Key Words : Time Projection Technique, Academic Procrastination

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out the effect of group counseling servicetoward students’ physical self-concept at the experiment group. The methodology of thisresearch is real-experimental method with control group experiment. The sample of thisresearch was 20 students of X MIA Senior High School 2 Pekanbaru. The result of thisresearch is to find out the difference between post test at the experiment group and posttest at the control group, the researcher used SPSS program with Mann Whitneyformula and got the result Z = -2.734 with sig. (2-tailed) is 0.006. Because of the valueof sig. (2-tailed) 0.006 < 0.05, therefore, it can be concluded that “there is a significantdifference between post test of students’ physical self-concept at the experiment groupand post test of students’ physical self-concept at the control group” and for thecontribution of group counseling service toward students’ physical self-concept is13.6%.Keywords: Group Counseling Service, Physical Self-Concept

Abstract

Abstract : Communication is very important for students as a bridge for searching and understanding information. In reality, not all students can communicate effectively. It is characterized by the emergence of communication anxiety symptoms, such as nervous, shaky, and scared. As a result, it will be difficult for students to handle the depressing situations so that students can’t develop the knowledge that they got well. Furthermore, they will be assumed as passive students. The objective of this research was: 1) to describe students’ communication anxiety before Group Counseling was applied. 2) to describe the process of Group Counseling implementation to reduce students’ communication anxiety. 3) to describe students’ communication anxiety after Group Counseling was applied. 4) to identify students’ communication anxiety differentiation before and after Group Counseling was applied. 5) to identify the effect of group counseling on communication anxiety reduction. This research was pre-experimental research with one-group pre-test post-test desaign. The subject of this research was 30 students who have communication anxiety. Correlational test hypothesis of this research was rejected because the result the data analysis indicates that rcount was smaller than rtable (0,314 < 0,361). It showed that there was no significant positive effect of Group Counseling on students’ communication anxiety reduction. The scale of the effect on interpretation table was on low level (9,8%). In contrary, regression test hypothesis of this research was accepted because the result the data analysis indicates that tcount was bigger than ttable (7,385<2,000). In conclusion, it showed that there was asignificant effect of Group Counseling on students’ communication anxiety reduction.Keyword : Group Counseling, Anxiety Communication

Abstract: This study entitled "The Use of Social Media and Student Motivation in SMK LABOR BINAAN FKIP UNRI PEKANBARU". Data from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemenkominfo) in its website (kominfo.com) year (2015) revealed internet users in Indonesia currently reach 63 million people. Of these, 95% use the internet to access social networks. The purpose of research: 1) To know the use of social media among students at SMK LABOR BINAAN FKIP UNRI PEKANBARU. 2) to know the motivation of student learning using social media at SMK LABOR BINAAN FKIP UNRI PEKANBARU. Research sample 140 people.Quantitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques are questionnaires. Technique of data analysis percentage. The results of research using social media 100% of students access social media every day. Time spent> 3hrs / day, 3hrs / hour, 2hours / day, <1hr / day. Type of social media that is widely used Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Line, Youtube, Twitter, BBM. the condition of accessing social media when gathering with friends, when time is empty, before sleep, waking, and when eating. In general, social media students use to find entertainment. The use of social media in general is in the low category. Motivation to learn the highest awards in learning. Student learning motivation using social media in general is in the medium category. Recommendations: 1) to teachers and parents of students to give more attention to students who use social media so that students' learning motivation is not low. 2) For other researchers interested in researching this subject it is advisable to undertake more detailed research or to add appropriate variables related to counseling guidance.Key Words: Social media, Motivation learning

Abstract

Abstract : One of the efforts made in selected courses and career prospects was good and in accordance with the ability of self. That was the way to prepared and plan a career, found out information about the types of courses and career prospects inorder not to get confused in taking the decision to choose courses in college. Therefore, the researchers felt the needed to develop a material about the career prospects of the various courses of study at colleges that was expected to be used by teachers for guidance and counseling gave to students. This material was prepared used methods of research and development (R & D). The purpose of this research was 1) Establishment of career prospects material of various courses in college that was suitable for students of second grade class IPA 3 at SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. 2) To determine the quality ofmaterial the career prospects of various courses in colleges produced. This material was validated by the supervisor I, II lecturers, teachers, guidance and counseling, as well as 42 students of class XI IPA 3 SMAN 2 Mine. This material was tested to the student with the allocation of time of 4 hours of lessons (4 x 45 '). This material consists of a definition of career prospects, aspects of career maturity, career planning, career planning measures, Career Pathways, and the types of courses in college and career prospects. The results of the development of this material indicates the quality of thematerial produced is in the category of "Very Good", with the acquisition of a score of 4.3 for the entire aspect of the assessment.Keywords : Improving of guidance materials counseling , career prospects science, engineeringand natural sciences

Abstract

Abstract : The title of this research is "Compilation Of Matter Emotional Intelligence” Class X SMA N 5 Pekanbaru AcademicYear 2013/2014". This study aims at the formulation of matter on Emotional intelligence necessary for high school students in terms of the clarity of the material, the material systematics, image support, and the adequacy of the material. Before the researchers gave the material to students, researchers first showed the results of the material to the supervisor I and II, one of the lecturers BK, teachers and tutors where researchers do research peers as much as 6 people. After passing through many revisions along with the suggestions by the experts further provides materials researchers Emotional Intelligence in schools where the researcher is doing, in providing this material as much as 3x the meeting where after researchers provide teaching materials and student materials given Emotional Intelligence of the material provided. From the values given by the experts and the students gain calculation results for material gain clarity aspect value of 4.6 which includes categories Very clear, systematic aspects of the material to obtain the value of 4.1 which includes categories Systematic, to support aspects of the image to get the value 3,9 A category that includes, for the renewal of the material aspects of obtaining the value of 4,2 which includes the category of Recently, to obtain material sufficiency aspect value of 4.4 which includes the category of Most Complete, whereas for all aspects of assessment materials indicate that the materials developed already meet the criteria expected by the acquisition value of 4.24 which includes the category of Very Good.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence MaterialWISUDA OKTOBER

Abstract: The existence of a child's behavior that we can see like cool and less responsive to parents well, the principally it’s happend because the teenagers are at the phase of conflict storm and stress, i thing they prefer the prejudices and emotions at anyone and the parents themselves, for them, the right thing just from theirs. Therefore, the researchers to develop an expected material that can be used by counseling teachers to give to students. This material is prepared using methods of research and development (R & D) The research to 1) To improve material of the quality interaction in the family. 2) To determine the quality of material produced. This material is validated by the supervisor 1&2, counselor, as well as 19 students. This material is tested to the student with the allocation of 3-hour lessons (3 x 45 '). This material consists of the role and functions of the family, the theories of approach in communication, the characteristics of quality communication in family, factors that affect the quality of the interaction and how to create a quality of communication. Abstract

Abstract : This study aimed to describe the self-confidence of students before given exercises speech, to find out how the process of service delivery, to find a picture after a given practice speech, differences in the confidence of students before with after practice speech and to see the difference in the confidence of students in the experimental group with the control group as well as the influence of mastery of content services with speech exercises. These research subjects Class X High School n 14 Pekanbaru totaling 60 students. The results of this study are given practice a speech before the confidence of the students were low category (50%). Service delivery process is done four times. After the implementation of speech exercises self-confidence of students at the high category (57%), this proves that there are significant differences between the self-confidence of students before and after the speech exercises. Then to see the differences in the experimental group and control group then used the formula Independent sample t test in SPSS with the t = 5.846 with sig (2-tailed) of 0.000. Because the value sig (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.005, it can be concluded "there is a difference between the students' confidence in the experimental group and control group. As for the contribution of services to the exercise mastery of content addressed to the increased confidence of students that is equal to 57%.Key Words : Service Content overs, speech training, self-confidence of students

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop the use of social media to improve self efficacy materials class X SLTA/MA equel, and description of its feasibility in terms of aspects of clarity, systematics, image support, freshness, completeness of the material, and video or games support . This research using methods of research and development ( R & D ). Data analysis techniques using data validity. The source of the data obtained from the supervisor 1 and 2, 3 teachers guidance and counseling MAN 2 MODEL Pekanbaru, as well as 27 students of class X MIA 1 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. This material is tested to the student with the allocation of a 3-hour lessons ( 3 x 45 ' ). This material consists of a sense of self-efficacy, the sources of self-efficacy, understanding social media, the social media revolution , and the benefits of social media. The results of the development of this material indicates the quality of the material produced in the category " Good " , with the acquisition of a score of 3.53 for the entire aspect of the assessment.Keywords : guidence and counseling , the use of social media, improve self efficacy

Abstract

Abstract: this study aims to determine the effect of individual counseling on the stress level of non-drug users in the prisons of Pekanbaru children, the research method used is the experimental research which is analyzed by qualitative research subject taken using sampling purposive as 5 non-drug boys in non-drug cases in prison of citizens of Pekanbaru residents the research is pre-test post-test one group design, which is done twice before being given treatment or treatment and after being given treatment post (post-test) with one subject group. This research is conducted by providing individualized counseling services that have been modified 5 times meeting. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of individual counseling on the stress level of non-drug target boys in Pekanbaru prisons based on the results of questionnaire analysis and observations made by researchers. Before the counseling process ends 2 people assisted men non-drug cases in prisons of Pekanbaru children declared drop out.Key Words: Individual counseling, stress levels, Prison Cildren.
