Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada perkuliahan laboratorium fisika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan desain one group pretest - postest yang dilaksanakan di semester V B pendidikan fisika FKIP Untan tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode purpossive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes awal dan tes akhir untuk hasil belajar, lembar observasi untuk mengamati keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, angket untuk menggali respon mahasiswa terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata N-gain 0,67 kategori tinggi. Mahasiswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada perkuliahan laboratorium fisika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar  mahasiswa. Kata kunci : pembelajaran berbasis proyek, laboratorium fisika Abstract: This study aimed to acquire data about the implementation of project-based learning on physics laboratory course. Quasi-experiment with one group pretest-posttest method was used in this research that involved students who took physics laboratory course selected with purposive sampling. The instruments were designed to elicit data; pretest and posttest used for students’ achievement, observation sheet used for learning activities, and questionnaire was for students’ response of the implementation of the learning. The results show that the N-gain is 0,67 (high level). In addition, students provided positive response for the learning implemented. Thus, this learning can enhance students’ achievement. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of multirepresentasi to reduce the number of students who make mistakes in solving Newton law problem in class X SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. The research design is one group pretest-posttest design and research instrument using a limited description test each consisting of 4 items. The sample numbered 29 students with intact group sampling technique (whole group). The results showed that there was an average decrease in the percentage of the number of students who were wrong in solving the problem by 43.50% with the level of moderate effectiveness. Multirepresentation teaching can be used as an alternative to re-educate learners who make mistakes in solving limited description problems especially on Newton's legal material. Keywords: Multirepresentation, Number of Learners Who Make Mistakes and Newton's Law.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is designed to explore the misconceptions of the students of SD Negeri 12 Pinoh Utara on the concepts of the nature of light. Individual Demonstration Interview (IDI) technique in Dayak Kebahant language was used to explore the misconceptions of nine elementary school students of class V. The data were analyzed qualitatively by comparing the students' conceptions and the conception of the scientist to obtain students' misconceptions. The results showed that students had misconceptions about the material nature of light. Students assumed that light could propagate straight because there was light, light could penetrate a transparent object when it was made of a thin material, when light came from a less dense medium to a closer medium away from the normal line and the sun was yellow. Students tend to express their concepts based on concrete things. The results of the research are useful in conducting the learning process. It is advisable to conduct further research in exploring students' misconceptions with appropriate methods.Keywords: Misconceptions, Individual Demonstration Interview Technique, Dayak Kebahant Language

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of giving learning materials to remediate students' misconceptions on straight-moving material change regularly in class X SMAK Abdi Wacana Pontianak. The method used is pre experimental Design with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The sample used in this study amounted to 24 students of SMAK Abdi Wacana Pontianak academic year 2017/2018 who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used is a multiple choice test with an open reason consisting of 10 questions. The results showed that the average percentage of students who experienced misconceptions decreased by 30%. McNemar test results obtained on average 2 Calculate (12.3) ˃ χ2Table (3.84) for db = 1 and α = 5% so that there was a significant conceptual change after remediation using the Wondering Learning Model - Exploring- Explaining Assisted Media Technology Information and Communication. The result of the effect size is obtained, which is 3.9 (high category). The results of this study are expected to be used as an alternative remediation activity for students who have learning difficulties  Keywords:  Wondering - exploring- explaining, information and communication technology, straight motion.

Abstract

Abstract This study is aimed to find out whether there is an increase of students' science processes skill and student achievement through inquiry model in sub-material changes in the form of substance class VII in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The method used in this research is experimental method with Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group-Pretest-Posttest Design. The population is the students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak which consists of seven classes. The sampling technique used is intac group. Thus the sample of this study was conducted on 28 students of class VII in one SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The tool of data collection of this research includes the test of description questions for student learning achievement and student worksheets of science process skills for student performance test. The result of this research shows that there is an improvement of students' science process skill and student learning achievement through inquiry model in sub-material changes in the form substance (P-Value <0,05).Keywords: Process sains skill, learning achievement, inquiry model

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi wujud zat di kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik intact group, jumlah sampel sebanyak 70 siswa yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VII D sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa essay. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 73.28, sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol sebesar 64.25. Dibuktikan hasil uji Independent Samples T Test  dengan taraf signifikan α=5% menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa  yang menggunakan model problem based learning dengan siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Effect Size yang diperoleh sebesar 0.59 dengan kategori sedang dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 22.24%, artinya model problem based learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci : Model Problem Based Learning, Hasil Belajar, Wujud Zat Abstrack: The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of model problem based learning to word students learning out come on states of water material in SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. The result shown that, students were used model Problem Based Learning have higher result 73.28 compared conventional class 64.25. Based on the t test with significance level α = 5% indicated there were differences between students that taught by using model problem based learning with students that taught by using conventional learning model. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada materi gerak lurus di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ketapang. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 1 kali pertemuan. Alat pengumpul data meliputi tes hasil belajar danlembar observasi pembelajaran .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 52,42 dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 22,58%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 62,74 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 64,51%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan contextual teaching and learningdapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pada materi gerak lurus di kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ketapang Kata kunci: Pendekatan contextual teaching and learning, hasil belajar, Gerak lurus Abstract: This classroom action research is aimed to improve students achievement through the implementations of contextual teaching and learning approach on material in the straight motion the class VII students of junior high school 1 Ketapang. This research consists of two cycles, each of cycles consist once meetings. Learning observations sheet and the result of students test are the tool of data collection. The result of research shows the improvement of students achievement. On the first cycle, the students average score is 52,42 with the percentage of achievement is 22,58%, meanwhile on the second cycle, the average score is 62,74 with the percentage of success is 64,51 It can be concluded that the learning through contextual teaching and learningapproach can increase the students achievement on material in the straight motion of the class VII students of junior high school 1 Ketapang. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa materi getaran dan gelombang kelas VIII di SMPN 17 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment rancangan The Non-Randomized Control Group. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes essay berjumlah 7 soal. Rata-rata pemahaman konsep awal dan akhir siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 7.84 dan 72.5 sedangkan kontrol adalah 7.59 dan 50.41. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikan α = 5% menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil pemahaman konsep akhir siswa yang menggunakan model discovery learning dengan yang mengunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Effect Size diperoleh sebesar 1.28 dengan kategori tinggi, artinya model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep akhir siswa materi getaran dan gelombang. Kata Kunci:   Model Discovery learning, Pemahaman Konsep, Getaran dan Gelombang Abstract: The purpose of this research was to know the influence of discovery learning model to students' understanding the concept of material vibrations and waves on grade VIII SMPN 17 Pontianak. The forms of this research was a Quasi Experimental with The Non-Randomized Control Group design. The sample of this research are VIII D as experiment class and VIII F as the control class. The average understanding concept of beginning and finaly outcomes of students in experiment class is 7.84 and 72.5 while in control class is 7.59 and 50.41. Abstract

AbstractThis research aim to  know the effect of applying cooperative learning  model by student team achievement  method toward   student’s learning result on   expansion in 7th  grade  of SMP N 22 Pontianak.  The research method is quasi experimental design with the nonequivalent control group design .  the sample determined by intact group method ang obtained VII B class which has 30 student as Experiment class and VII D class which also has 30 student as control class.  The average score of  experiment class (56,51) and control class (24,90). Based on U-Man Whitney test ,the significant value is 0,00<0,05 , then  Ha accepted. There are differences between  the student who learn using STAD than who student teached by conventional teaching method.  The value of effect size is 1.24 which indicate  that STAD method was  effective applied on expansion matter 7th grade  of SMP N 22 Pontianak.   Keyword: Cooperative Learning by STAD, Learning Resul

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan rasa ingin tahu dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) pada materi tekanan zat cair di SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII H di SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari  37 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, angket dan tes. Adapun peningkatan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 9 % dari 84 % menjadi 93 % dan peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik yang mencapai KKM dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebesar 3 % dari 81 % menjadi 84 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran SQ4R dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik pada materi tekanan zat cair. Kata kunci : Rasa ingin tahu, SQ4R Abstract: This study aims to improve learning outcomes and curiosity by using learning methods Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) on the pressure of liquid material at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which consists of two cycles. Subjects in this study were the students of class VIII H at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015 which consists of 37 learners. The data collecting were using observation sheets, questionnaires and tests. The increase in the curiosity of students from the first cycle to the second cycle is equal to 9% from 84% to 93% and the increasing of learning outcomes thoroughness of students who reach KKM from the first cycle to the second cycle is equal to 3% from 81% to 84%. Based on the results of this study indicate that SQ4R learning methods to improve learning outcomes and curiosity of students in the pressure of the liquid material. Keywords: Curiosity, SQ4R
