Abstract

Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang berkembang dengan pesat, ternyata tidak diimbangi dengan kesadaran dalam beragama dan berbudaya. Metode pada kajian ini adalah kajian literatur yang membahas gagasan tentang Literasi Sains Berbasis Nilai Islam dan Budaya Indonesia (LSIB). Artikel ini mendiskusikan tentang (1) Bagaimana model literasi sains berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dan Budaya Indonesia? (2) Bagaimana Literasi Sains dapat berkontribusi terhadap kesadaran beragama (Islam) dan berbudaya Indonesia?; dan (3) Adakah isu terkait tentang literasi sains, Nilai-nilai Islam, dan Budaya Indonesia? Dari kajian yang telah dilakukan, model LSIB yang digagas menggunakan pendekatan integrasi interdisipliner dengan KNOW/BE/DO Bridge sebagai konsep penghubung antara literasi sains, nilai-nilai Islam, dan Nilai-nilai Budaya yang dalam praktiknya dapat ditransfer melalui pendidikan (pengalaman belajar) yang berorientasi pada nilai-nilai.Development of Physics Learning Devices Based on Critical Thinking Skills in Problem-Based LearningCommunity involvement in science and technology are rapidly developing was not matched by the religious and cultural awareness. The method in this study is a literature review that discusses the idea of Scientific Literacy based on Islamic and Indonesian Cultural values (SLIC). This article discusses (1) How to model scientific literacy based on Islamic values and culture Indonesia? (2) How can Science Literacy contribute to the awareness of religion (Islam) and Indonesian culture? (3) What is the related issue of scientific literacy, Islamic values, and Indonesian Cultural values? Of the studies that have done, the model LSIB initiated by using an integrated approach interdisciplinary with KNOW / BE / DO Bridge as the concept of a link between science literacy, Islamic values, and the values of culture which in practice can transfer through education (learning experience) that oriented values.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan produk modul digital interaktif berbasis Articulate Studio’13 pada mata pelajaran fisika materi gerak melingkar yang berkualitas dan menarik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan memodifikasi 10 tahapan yang ada menjadi 7 tahapan yaitu; potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Pembatasan tahapan ini dilakukan berdasarkan kebutuhan dan tujuan penelitian itu sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil validasi produk, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa modul digital interaktif berbasis articulate studio’13 pada mata pelajaran fisika materi gerak melingkar diakategorikan sangat layak untuk digunakan. Persentase yang diperoleh dari ahli materi fisika sebesar 84,67%, dari ahli media pembelajaran sebesar 85,56%, dan dari praktisi pendidikan sebesar 84,1 %. Produk tersebut kemudian diujicobakan dalam skala kecil dan diperoleh persentase kemenarikan sebesar 84.4%. Selanjutnya, dalam uji coba skala besar diperoleh persentase kemenarikan sebesar 85,0%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa modul digital interaktif berbasis Articulate Studio’13 pada mata pelajaran fisika materi gerak melingkar dapat digunakan sebagai modul pembelajaran.Articulate Studio’ 13-Based Interactive Digital Module: The Development of Circular Motion Material for The Tenth Grade StudentsThe aims of this research is to produce interactive digital modul based on Articulate Studio '13 on quality and interesting circle motion subject of physics learning. This is Research and Development (R&D) research by modifying 10 stages that exists into 7 stages, they are: potential and problem, information gather, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The limitation of stages is done based on the need and the purpose of the research itself. Based on the result validation product, concludes that digital interactive modul of Articulate Studio'13 on circle motion subject is categorized very eligible to used. The gain percentages are from physics experts are 84,67%, from learning media experts are 85,56%, and from education experts are 84,1%. Then, the product is tested on small scale and gained interesting percentage at 84,4%. Later, on large scale gained interesting percentage at 85,0%. Based on those result, it can be conclude that interactive digital modul based on Articulate Studio'13 on circle motion subject of physics learning can be used as learning modul.

Abstract

This research aims to determine expert opinions on the feasibility of high school physics enrichment modules with 21st-century skills based on ethnopedagogy and determine the product's attractiveness. This research employed R and D research in conjunction with ADDIE development models. The research subjects were senior high school students from MAN 1 Bandar Lampung, SMA Negeri 12 Bandar Lampung, and SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The data collection techniques were questionnaires for expert validation: material expert, media expert, and cultural expert. Then the researchers also distributed student questionnaires. The findings of this study are as follows: 1) the final product met the excellent criteria, 2) the product's attractiveness met the excellent criteria, and 3) the teachers’ responses indicated that the product belonged to the excellent criteria. As a physics learning product, the high school physics enrichment modules with 21st-century skills based on ethnopedagogy were appropriate and attractive to use. It is suggested that further researchers develop learning material other than local Lampung culture and traditional Lampung games so that the physics concepts will differ.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of integrated LKPD Islamic values on problem-based learning on students' scientific literacy. The research method used was an experimental pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. Data is analyzed by using normalized gain (N-Gain) and Effect Size. Furthermore, the data were tested statistically on the value of the pretest and posttest of students by carrying out the normality, homogeneity, and T-test (paired sample test) using the SPSS 18 program. The average N-gain value obtained was 0.45% and in the medium category. The results of statistical tests show a significance level of 0.00 less than α = 0.05 (sign less than 0.05) which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted there are differences. The results of this study indicate that with integrated LKPD Islamic values in problem-based learning are able to enhance students' scientific literacy skills in aspects of competence and knowledge in the material of environmental pollution in SMP Negeri 1 Kotaagung Tiimur.Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas LKPD terintegrasi nilai Islami pada pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap literasi sains peserta didik. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimenpre experimental design denganone group pretest-postest design. Data dianalis dengan menggunkan gain ternormalisasi (N-Gain) dan Effect Size. Selanjutnya data di uji statistik terhadap nilai pretest dan posttest peserta didik dengan melakukan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan Uji-T (paired sample test) dengan menggunakan program spss 18. Hasil rata-rata nilai N-gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,45 % dan berada dalam kategori sedang. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,00 lebih kecil dari  = 0,05 (sign kurang dari 0,05) yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima terdapat perbedaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dengan LKPD terintegrasi nilai Islami dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada aspek kompetensi dan pengetahuan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan di SMP Negeri 1 Kotaagung Tiimur.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to get an overview of the implementation of cognitive conflict approaches based on experimental methods on mastery of concepts and critical thinking skills. Quasi Experimental Design research design. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence of the implementation of cognitive conflict assessment on mastery of concepts and critical thinking skills with an average value of critical thinking skills 77.33 and mastery of concepts 77.66. While the effect of verification practicum on critical thinking skills and mastery of the concept of learning outcomes has less significant qualifications with the average value of critical thinking skills 69.32 and mastery of concepts 71.10. From the results of the t-test obtained critical sign critical thinking skills less than 0.05 that is with a value of 0.000 less than 0.05 and mastery of the concept of 0.000 more than 0.05 then H_1 is accepted. The implications of the results of this study are very important for teachers to apply the cognitive conflict approach based on the experimental method. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan gambaran implementasi pendekatan konflik kognitif berbasis metode eksperimen terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis.Desain penelitianQuasi Experimental Design.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa terdapat pengaruhpositif daan signifikan dari implementasi pendektan konflik kognitif terhadap penguasaan konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis 77,33 dan penguasaan konsep 77,66. Sedangkan pengaruh praktikum verifikasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penguasaan konsep hasil belajar memiliki kualifikasi kurang signifikan dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis 69,32 dan penguasaan konsep 71,10. Dari hasil uji-t diperoleh kemampuan berpikir kritis kritis sign kurang dari 0,05 yaitu dengan nilai 0.000 kurang dari 0.05 dan penguasaan konsep 0.000 lebih dari 0.05 maka  diterima.Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah sangat penting bagi guru untuk menerapkan pendekatan konflik kognitif berbasis metode eksperimen.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quantum teaching learning model type TANDUR on student learning outcomes. The study population were students of class IX SMP Negeri 5 Pringsewu. Sample consisted of one class of experiments (IX-2) and one control class (IX-1). Pretest results were analyzed by the test for normality and homogeneity test. Based on test results obtained normality and homogeneity of all classes of normal distribution and homogeneous. Based on the results of t-test analysis obtained t = 4,678 and ttable = 2,028 so thitung ≥ Ttable. Effect size of 1,16 is obtained into the major categories. This shows that the average results of experimental class learning better than the control class for thitung more than TTable. The results showed that the enforceability of quantum teaching learning model type TANDUR on learning activities affect the results of students of class IX SMP Negeri 5 Pringsewu the academic year 2016/2017.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran quantum teaching tipe TANDUR terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Pringsewu. Sample penelitian terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen (IX-2) dan satu kelas kontrol (IX-1). Hasil pretest dianalisa dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas didapatkan semua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t didapatkan thitung = 4,678 dan ttable= 2,028 sehingga thitung ttable. Effect size yang diperoleh sebesar 1,16 masuk dalam katagori besar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa  rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelas kontrol karena thitunglebih dari ttable. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran quantum teaching tipe TANDUR pada kegiatan belajar mengajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Pringsewu tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop interactive multimedia using construct 2 on the topic of temperature and heat. The research method used is Research and Development (R and D) which adopted the development of Borg and Gall. Based on the results of the validation from the content experts, the results obtained were 81% in the very good category, and the media experts gave a score of 94% for the very good category, and the results of the teacher’s response obtained a percentage score of 77% in the good category. Then interactive multimedia was tested through two stages, small group trials and field trials. The average results obtained were 83.6% for small group trials, and the results of field trials in three schools were 85%, 84%, and 84%, and the average was 85.7% in the very good category. So, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia is feasible and good for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the problem based learning model on the problem solving ability of high school students. This research is a quasy experimental research with the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Ulubelu. The effect size hypothesis test is used to obtain the results of the effectiveness of the PBL model on students’ problem solving abilities. The result of the effect size hypothesis test showed the value of 0.68 in the moderate category. So it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model is effective for improving the problem-solving ability of high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the guided inquiry learning model on scientific reasoning abilities in students with high self-efficacy, moderate self-efficacy, and low self-efficacy categories. The method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type. The population was all of tenth-grade IPA (Natural Science) students. The samples taken were class XI IPA 1 and class XI IPA 2, determined with the simple random sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of description items to measure scientific reasoning ability and twenty Likert scale questionnaire items to measure student self-efficacy. The hypothesis test was conducted using the ANCOVA (Analysis of Covariance) test. Based on the hypothesis test result, the guided inquiry learning model influences students' scientific reasoning abilities with high self-efficacy, moderate self-efficacy, and low self-efficacy categories. The results of this research have several important implications for the development of educational practices, especially in science learning.

Abstract

The PID controller's optimized tuning improves the control system's functionality. This work presented the tuning of the PID/FOPID controller by the conventional Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) method and the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. The PID controller is the most popular in the industry because it is simple to implement, has good computing ability, and provides a robust system. These methods are implemented on the DC servomotor system to optimize the transient responses like rise time (??), settling time (??), and peak overshoot (??) to get a better result. The PID controller tuned by the conventional ZN method gives a longer settling time, a longer rise time, and a higher peak overshoot. The PSO algorithm is utilized to overcome the significant overshoot and considerable settling time obtained in the conventional Ziegler-Nichols method. Analyzing and comparing the MATLAB simulation results, it is observed that PSO algorithms provide a better-optimized response over the ZN method with FOPID controller in respect of less rise time (?? =0.0392 sec.), less settling time (??=0.0605 sec.) and peak overshoot (??=1.92 percent). The results obtained by the proposed controller provide better reliability and better response.
