Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyakat dalam menggunakan computer dalam dunia kerja baik disekolah mapun perkantoran. Langkah-langkah atau metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah: Menentukan tentukan tujuan pelatihan, Menentukan jenis pelatihan, Menentukan konten pelatihan: Microsoft Office (Word, excel dan powerpoint), Merencanakan jadwal pelatihan, Menyiapkan materi pelatihan, Melakukan kegaitan pelataihan dan evaluasi. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini dapat memberikan manfaat besar bagi individu dan organisasi, seperti meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan kinerja, serta mengurangi kesalahan dan meningkatkan kualitas pekerjaan. Selain itu, pelatihan Microsoft Office juga dapat membantu peserta untuk meningkatkan peluang karir mereka dan menjadi lebih kompetitif di pasar kerja. Dari pelatihan yang dilakukan terlihat bahwa peserta sudah memahami dan mampu menggunakan Microsoft office dengan baik

Abstract

Publication of scientific work is mandatory for teachers seeking promotion as a requirement to enhance their professionalism. Citing scientific works is crucial in every publication. However, many teachers often encounter difficulties in finding and managing references to be used in research publications. The objective of the Community Engagement Activity is to assist teachers in effectively and efficiently searching for references and organizing the sources to be used as references in their publications. Mendeley, as a reference management application, plays a significant role in improving the ability to write academic papers by providing features that facilitate reference searching and publication writing. The training is conducted through lectures, discussions, and practical exercises. The initial stage involves introducing the Mendeley application and installing it on participants' laptops. Participants are also taught how to collect references in Mendeley for later use in academic writing and how to apply Mendeley in the writing process. The outcome of this engagement is that teachers in West Lombok Regency can effectively master the use of the Mendeley application, thereby supporting their academic writing activities. With these skills, teachers will find it easier to search for references and streamline the process of creating automatic bibliographies

Abstract

Students with disabilities are special students who have equal opportunities to be independent and able to develop themselves. Through learning and increasing creativity and innovation, students with disabilities will be able to compete and contribute to progress and development of self-ability in the community environment. The rapid development of technology requires children to learn from an early age. The first step to foster children's interest in learning about technology is to create technology-based learning media. Therefore community service is carried out with the aim that students with disabilities can learn about technology and can create a work that is used as a medium for learning about technology. The PkM method used is the experimental method. The result of the PkM that has been implemented is that students can enthusiastically learn about technology such as making led circuits and water pump circuits. Six deaf students were able to successfully make LED circuits and water pump circuits for a miniature garden.

Abstract

The opening of the service port on the Mikrotik router provides an opening for hackers to enter the Mikrotik service to access the router illegally. This research aimed to close certain ports that are gaps for hackers and uses port knocking and telegram bots. The Telegram bot was used as a message notification to managers in real-time to provide information that occurs when the vulnerability scanning process is carried out to find and map weaknesses in the network system. Searching for weaknesses also includes looking for open router service ports such as ports 22, 23, 80, and 8291. This research used the Network Development Life Cycle method, which started from analysis design and prototype simulation to implementation. The research results after testing were able to secure local network service ports against vulnerability scanners on routers using the port knocking method, and testing attack schemes carried out from each scheme could run well on the router’s local network and obtain notifications via telegram bots in real time to administrators. This research contributes to administrators’ ability to secure networks so irresponsible people do not easily infiltrate them.

Abstract

In the world of beauty service business, the increasingly competitive competition encourages entrepreneurs to improve the quality of their services and products so they can compete in the market. Salon Bricela, a beauty salon specifically for women, offers various types of grooming services to attract consumers. However, with the emergence of many salons and spas in the city of Mataram, Bricela Salon needs to find a different way to promote its products and increase its presence. One of the solutions chosen is to make promotional videos that use cinematic techniques to attract consumer interest. The purpose of this thesis is to make a promotional video that introduces Salon Bricela's Spa care products that are not well known in the wider community. The result of this research is a promotional video using Cinematic Techniques as a Media for Digital Promotion which displays the types of treatments and beauty products used in the Bricela salon. It is hoped that by using this technique, the promotional video for Bricela Salon will become more attractive and easily understood by consumers, so it can increase the existence of Bricela Salon in the city of Mataram.

Abstract

Pengolahan nilai siswa merupakan salah satu bagian dari kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) di sekolah dan memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam proses belajar mengajar yang merupakan alat untuk mengukur prestasi siswa. Dengan pengolahan dan pengelolaan yang baik maka pengolahan data nilai akan menjadi lebih mudah, cepat dan akurat. Permasalahannya, selama ini pengolahan nilai siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMPN) 6 Janapria masih dilakukan secara manual dan kesulitan dalam menghitung rata-rata nilai siswa serta pencatatan nilai di rapor ditulis dengan tangan sehingga potensi kesalahan penulisan sangat besar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membuat sistem pengolahan rapor siswa secara online (berbasis web). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi adalah Waterfall dan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah implementasi aplikasi pengelolaan nilai rapor siswa online yang dapat memudahkan guru dan wali kelas dalam mengelola nilai serta kemudahan akses informasi nilai siswa di SMPN 6 Janapria. Implikasi kegiatan ini adalah memudahkan guru dalam pengelolaan nilai rapor siswa, meminimalkan kesalahan tulis rapor siswa, dan memudahkan dalam menghitung rata-rata nilai siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to improve teachers' writing skills through the application of Classroom Action Research Training (PTK). This activity is in collaboration with the West Lombok School Principals Group (MKKS) and the Basic Education Quality Improvement Agency (BPMPD) (CLUSTER VI Lingsar District). The training organized involves a series of structured activities designed to improve teacher skills in Compiling and creating research reports Classroom actions which are further amended in the form of research articles. By involving teachers as agents of change, this dedication has succeeded in creating a dynamic and responsive learning environment. In addition, teachers have developed skills of analysis, reflection, and adjustment of their learning practices. Thus, the conclusion of this service confirms that the teachers who participated in the PTK training have been able to understand all the material presented and create a positive impact to develop themselves in the learning process that is inseparable from the implementation of classroom action research (PTK) in the classroom.

Abstract

In the era of technology which is developing rapidly in all fields, the learning process in the 3T Region, especially Sidratul Munthaha Yapis Wamena Papua Vocational School, still carries out a conventional learning process. This means that some students and teachers are not optimal in recognizing and implementing technology in the field of education. E-learning has developed and been applied in various schools. However, this convenience is not yet fully felt by students and teachers in Wamena Papua. The aim of this research is to design web-based e-learning and test the service level of the e-learning system using the black box method. The design method used is the waterfall method with stages of analysis, design, coding and testing. Testing was carried out using the black box method. The research results show that there are five interface displays for e-learning that have been designed, consisting of the homepage display, login page, classroom creation form, material posting form, and attendance display. Based on the results of black box testing, it proves that the e-learning system can be used according to the expected function. However, there are several notes on the design of this e-learning from media experts, including: the need to provide validation of assignment descriptions, automate assignment publication times, provide information on assignment collection pages, and automate assignment upload times.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development and testing of a microprocessor-based Overcurrent Relay (OCR) with the implementation of fuzzy logic control for adaptive setting of TMS values. OCR is a crucial component in the electricity protection system which aims to detect and respond to disturbances due to excessive current, preventing damage to electrical equipment. The aim of this research is to test the feasibility and performance of microprocessor-based OCR with fuzzy logic control in setting TMS values, and compare it with the international standard IEC 60255. The method used in this research is the implementation of the Sugeno type fuzzy logic algorithm on the Atmega 328P microcontroller. This algorithm is used to control the TMS value based on the rotating frequency of the detected overcurrent. The results of this research are a characterization of the OCR response to variations in streaming current and different PS settings. The lowest TOp deviation was observed at higher PS settings, with the best performance in the IDMT OCR type. The use of fuzzy logic control is able to increase the OCR response to overcurrent disturbances, although under normal conditions it sometimes results in a longer TOp. The conclusion of this research is that microprocessor-based OCR with fuzzy logic control can provide protection performance that is adaptive and responsive to dynamic operational environmental conditions. This implementation has the potential to increase the efficiency and leakage of the electricity protection system

Abstract

Internet of Think (IoT) is emerging as a big issue on the internet, it is expected that billions of objects will be equipped with various types of sensors connected to the internet through networks as well as technology support such as embedded sensors and actualization. This study aims to design and analyze the application of a prototype door locking system via the internet using Arduino Uno based on Android. This research uses the SDLC method in designing and developing a prototype door lock system over the internet using Arduino Uno based on Android. There are 3 stages of the SDLC method used in this research, namely Requirements Analysis, System Design, and System Implementation. The input from this system is in the form of on and off commands from smartphones that are sent to thingspeak as a server service and will be continued to Arduino devices that have been connected to a solenoid doorlock. If the door is opened, the magnetic sensor switch will send the information back to Thingspeak and continue to the smartphone as feedback. The results of the tests that have been carried out are that the average time required for lock = 4.36 seconds and unlock = 5.30 seconds, while the average sensor test time required to send sensor data with conditions Open = 12.33 seconds and Closed = 12.43 seconds. The delay time depends on the condition of the network connected to the system.
