Abstract

The digital era presents challenges as well as opportunities for business actors, especially Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Accelerating the adoption of digital technology-based payment systems is an urgent need so that MSMEs are able to compete and improve transaction efficiency. This Community Service (PKM) activity was carried out in Cendoro Village, Tuban Regency, with the aim of providing assistance to MSME actors through the implementation of a QRIS-based digital payment system. The method of implementing PKM consists of three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In the preparation stage, needs are identified and socialization of QRIS benefits are carried out. The implementation stage includes technical training on the use of QRIS as well as direct assistance in the implementation of non-cash transactions. The evaluation stage was carried out to measure the level of understanding and application of QRIS by participants. The results of the activity showed that participants understood the concept of digital payment and were able to apply QRIS in daily transactions. In addition, this activity encourages an increase in the adoption of QRIS which has an impact on efficiency, transaction security, expansion of market access, and local economic growth. The main obstacles faced include limited technological knowledge, uneven internet access, and operational costs. Thus, this PKM contributes to strengthening digital literacy and supporting technology-based economic transformation in Cendoro Village, Tuban Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the basic concept of musyarakah contract according to sharia principles and its implementation in the accounting practices of Islamic financial institutions, especially based on Sharia Financial Accounting Standard (PSAK) No. 106. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach, examining the theoretical basis of literature sources and implementation reports in several Islamic financial institutions. The results show that the application of musyarakah contracts in accounting requires separate recording of assets and liabilities arising, measurement of musyarakah investments at the fair value of non-cash assets delivered, and transparent recognition of profit-sharing income and expenses. Although the basic principles are clearly defined in shariah, challenges in accounting implementation often arise related to transparency issues, difficulties in business feasibility analysis, and the diversity of musyarakah products (e.g., mutanaqisah or declining musyarakah). Alignment between sharia concepts and accounting standards (PSAK 106) is essential to ensure fair and transparent practices. A deep understanding by practitioners of Islamic Financial Institutions is required to ensure sharia compliance and accountable presentation of financial statements.

Abstract

Photothermoelectric (PTE) conversion integrates photothermal and thermoelectric effects, where light irradiation generates a temperature gradient that induces voltage through the Seebeck effect. This study examines the influence of annealing treatment on the structural, morphological, and optical properties of ZnO/SiO₂/Si thin films for PTE applications. ZnO films were synthesized on SiO₂/Si substrates modified via a hydrothermal process, with samples prepared under two conditions: without annealing and with annealing at 700, 1000, and 1100°C. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed that the unannealed sample had low crystallinity and small grain size, while annealed samples exhibited improved crystallinity and grain growth consistent with the wurtzite ZnO phase. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM-EDX) revealed that annealing transformed irregular, porous structures into more compact and uniform grains, with elemental composition approaching the stoichiometric Zn:O ratio. UV–Vis spectroscopy indicated that annealing broadened the absorption range (330–1100 nm) and reduced defect-related absorption. The enhanced crystallinity and optical absorption imply improved photothermal and thermoelectric potential. Overall, optimizing annealing temperature effectively enhances the light–heat–electricity conversion capability of ZnO/SiO₂/Si thin films for photothermoelectric device applications.

Abstract

The high volume of fishery waste often poses an environmental burden if not managed appropriately. Conversely, the circular economy concept offers sustainable solutions aligned with Maqasid Shariah principles in environmental preservation (Hifz al-Alam). This study aims to educate and implement the processing of fish waste into high-quality animal feed that meets halal standards (halalan thayyiban). This research employs a qualitative approach using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method. The stages include socializing the concept of Sharia circular economy, technical training on waste processing, and nutritional content testing of the feed. The findings indicate an 80% increase in community understanding regarding the economic value of waste. Technically, the fish waste processing successfully produced an alternative animal feed with high protein content, free from najis (impurity) through a purification process according to Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). This education proves that the integration of circular economy and Sharia principles not only reduces environmental impact but also creates sustainable economic added value for local communities.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Islamic business ethics principles in the field of distribution in Indonesia, focusing on how values such as justice, honesty, trustworthiness, and transparency can address various distribution challenges. Distribution is a crucial element in the economic chain; however, in Indonesia, geographical challenges, infrastructure disparities, and monopolistic practices often hinder efficiency and fairness in the delivery of goods and services. This study also seeks to provide strategic recommendations for creating more equitable and sustainable distribution systems aligned with Islamic values. The method employed in this study is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were gathered through literature analysis from books, scientific journals, articles, and other documents relevant to the topic of distribution from the perspective of Islamic business ethics. The analysis identified relevant Islamic ethical principles, such as the prohibition of hoarding (ihtikar), monopolies, and consumer exploitation, as well as how these principles can enhance efficiency and fairness in distribution. The findings indicate that the application of Islamic business ethics in distribution can serve as a strategic solution to address access disparities, foster transparency, and promote sustainability. These principles not only support inclusive economic growth but also strengthen consumer trust, thereby contributing to equitable welfare distribution across Indonesia.

Abstract

The low level of Islamic financial literacy among madrasah students remains a challenge in fostering financial behavior aligned with Islamic values. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ understanding and practical skills in managing personal finances based on Islamic financial principles through an Islamic Religious Education approach. The program was implemented using participatory methods, including interactive lectures, group discussions, financial planning workshops, case-based learning, simulations, and mentoring activities integrating Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh muamalah), ethical consumption, budgeting, saving habits, and the fundamentals of Islamic financial transactions. Program evaluation employed pre-test and post-test assessments, participatory observation, and participant satisfaction questionnaires to measure knowledge acquisition and behavioral changes. The findings demonstrated significant improvements in students’ understanding of Islamic financial literacy, their ability to develop simple financial plans, and their commitment to practicing Islamic financial behavior, including prudent spending, avoiding riba (usury), cultivating saving habits, and strengthening social responsibility through zakat, infaq, and sadaqah. The program also encouraged teachers to integrate Islamic financial literacy into Islamic Religious Education learning activities. These results imply that integrating Islamic economics with Islamic Religious Education provides an effective and sustainable model for promoting Islamic financial literacy and nurturing financially responsible Muslim students.
