Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of the Independent Curriculum and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia with a focus on the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. The Independent Curriculum is an educational initiative that gives schools and teachers freedom to develop curricula and learning methods to improve the quality of education. SDGs, on the other hand, are global programs aimed at achieving sustainable development throughout the world. The research method used is a qualitative approach by collecting data from various literary sources, including books, articles, documentation, magazines and newspapers. The research results show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum consists of three stages: Independent Learning, Independent Change, and Independent Sharing. PAI teachers face challenges in understanding the SDGs and integrating them into the PAI curriculum. However, they also have the opportunity to link religious values ​​with SDGs principles in learning. This research concludes that PAI teachers have a key role in achieving sustainable development goals by integrating religious values ​​with SDGs principles. By collaborating with pioneer schools that have successfully adopted the Independent Curriculum, PAI teachers can become important agents of change in efforts to realize the SDGs program in Indonesia.

Abstract

To achieve success, every educational institution requires good management. One way is to make management arrangements, so that the process of developing Islamic culture can take place effec-tively and efficiently. This study aims to analyze planning, organizing, driving and supervising management in SMA Pesat Bogor City. This paper is a qualitative research that conducts in-depth observations at the Pesat High School in Bogor City. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results obtained show that man-agement and planning activities started with deliberations held with the vice principal and teachers to design the RKT and RKJM; organizing in the form of dividing tasks and roles with school mem-bers; mobilization carried out in the form of motivation and guidance to produce Islamic culture including in fostering morals, worship, and Islamic learning content; and supervision in the form of follow-up with rewards and punishments.

Abstract

The tradition of reading Barzanji's poems in Cianjur District seems to be decreasing and decreasing. The causal factors include 1) the lack of socialization and training from Barzanji speakers towards the younger generation, 2) the lack of interest and attention from the younger generation to learn the recitation of Barzanji's poems, 3) the absence of a specific institution to deepen Islamic cultural art in terms of this is the preservation of the tradition of reading Barzanji's poetry, 4) the rapid flow of infiltration of non-Islamic culture towards the Muslim community so that the Muslim community knows and applies non-Islamic cultures more than the Islamic culture itself. Furthermore, the author conveys that this research will describe the results of data analysis on the meaning and values ​​of Moral Education in the tradition of reading Barzanji's Poems in the community of Cianjur Regency. This method is descriptive. An effort to preserve the Barzanji tradition in the community of Cianjur Regency includes: 1) Improving the learning and training process for the Barzanji Tradition at Majlis Ta'lim and Islamic boarding schools so that the Barzanji tradition can be passed down from generation to generation, 2) Organizing a Barzanji festival periodically with involving religious institutions and schools, especially during religious holidays, 3) making or incorporating Barzanji poetry into teaching materials in Islamic Religious Education or Indonesian language subjects in schools from elementary to tertiary level, 4 ) Carrying out intensive outreach regarding the historicity and meaning of Barzanji's poetry to the wider community both in urban and rural areas.

Abstract

Islamic education is one of the important pillars in shaping the character and personality of students. However, to achieve optimal quality of education, a systematic and effective managerial approach is needed. Total Quality Management (TQM) is one approach that can be applied in Islamic education to improve the quality of education and customer satisfaction, which in this context are students, parents, and the community. This journal examines the application of TQM principles in Islamic education to improve the quality of learning and ensure the achievement of customer satisfaction with an approach based on continuous improvement, process management, and the involvement of all parties. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method that refers to library data and interview results. This study intends to understand the situation about what happened to the research subjects. This method aims to describe or explain in full the occurrence of various phenomena studied. The results of this study indicate that. The improvements that Al-Munawwaroh Middle School implements are consistent and ongoing improvements in each school year. The way to find out what customers want is by working with the school committee to become a mediator or convey messages or hopes from the community to the school.

Abstract

Problems of learning activities in educational institutions are influenced by several factors including the use of teaching materials, conventional learning methods, and low student interest in learning. The learning process that feels boring makes it difficult for students to receive the material presented, because the learning only focuses on information from one side (Teacher Center). In addition, the world of education today has the development of information and communication technology that has a very large influence, including on digital learning sources that are easy to access. Therefore, the learning system becomes easier with the existence of digital-based learning modules that can be accessed anywhere and anytime and become teaching materials in explaining learning materials. This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing a flipbook-based PAI module on the material of believing in Allah and His Messenger for grade IV in elementary schools. This study is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research and development with the ADDIE model consisting of five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research data sources consist of the results of observations and interviews and questionnaires with experts, principals, Islamic Religious Education teachers and students. Meanwhile, statistical data were obtained from the results of questionnaires from experts, practitioners and students analyzed using a Likert scale. The results of this study obtained a flipbook-based PAI module on the material of faith in Allah and His Messenger for grade IV with decent and very good results, based on suggestions/input and assessments from experts and practitioners. Thus, the flipbook-based PAI module can be used as teaching materials for teachers and students in the learning process at school.

Abstract

This article discusses the Islamic education administration management system, because administration has a very important role in achieving the goals of educational institutions. The success of education is not only determined by the vision and mission that has been formulated by the educational institution, but this success is determined by the ability and appropriateness of the administration in its management of education. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative through a literature review approach (library research). Data sources in this research are reports, news, articles and other documents relevant to the topic of discussion. The data collection technique involves searching for various data sources such as books, journals, and research that has been carried out. In this research, researchers collected data using books, journals, and research on Islamic education administration management. The data analysis technique in this research uses the content analysis method (Content Analysis) through inductive and deductive approaches. The technique in this research aims to analyze the meanings contained in all ideas related to management systems in Islamic education administration.

Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan terdapat beberapa faktor yang menentukan, mulai dari kurikulum, materi, metode, pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, peserta didik, sarana, prasarana, dan sebagainya. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan prestasi peserta didik, diperlukan adanya perencanaan, diantaranya adalah perencanaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan. Sarana dan prasarana merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan prestasi peserta didik. Sarana dan prasarana sebaiknya disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan sejalan dengan visi dan misi lembaga pendidikan itu sendiri. Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang perencanaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan Islami. Hal ini perlu dilakukan agar sarana dan prasarana yang disiapkan lembaga pendidikan sejalan dengan nilai-nilai agama Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan diperlukan adanya sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, meliputi perencanaan, tujuan dan manfaat, perinsip perencanaan, prosedur, klasifikasi, pengadaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan. Pengadaan sarana dan prasaran yang direncanakan akan menghasilkan sarana dan prasarana yang baik dan tepat guna, sehingga proses belajar mengajar akan berhasil dengan dukungan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes in the Al-Qur’an Hadits subject at MI Azzein Bogor, as well as the suboptimal use of instructional models that enhance student participation and comprehension. The objective of the study is to examine the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model on improving the Al-Qur’an Hadits learning outcomes of fourth-grade students. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 50 students divided into two classes: the experimental class (IV-A) and the control class (IV-B), each comprising 25 students. Data were collected through a 30-item multiple-choice test administered as both pretest and posttest. The analysis showed a significant improvement in the experimental class, with the average pretest score increasing from 79.79 to 87.20 in the posttest, and a p-value of 0.00023 (< 0.05). In contrast, the control class, which used conventional teaching methods, showed an insignificant improvement, with the average score rising from 74.56 to 77.76 and a p-value of 0.137 (> 0.05). These findings indicate that the TSTS model has a positive and significant impact on students’ learning outcomes. The main conclusion of this research is that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model is effective in enhancing student achievement in Al-Qur’an Hadits. The study recommends that teachers adopt the TSTS model as a cooperative learning alternative capable of improving conceptual understanding, learning engagement, and students’ social character through interactive and collaborative classroom practices.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the use of the environment as a medium that can improve teacher competence in teaching and develop creativity and independence of teachers in managing learning. This study uses qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The object of this research is the teacher and student partner school consisting of four MIS at the foot of Mount Salak, Taman Sari District, Bogor. The results of the study show the role of universities in pedagogical improvement and teacher learning planning, school communication media as learning media can increase positive values, naturalistic intelligence, and student entrepreneurial skills by further improving the environment. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan lingkungan alam sebagai media yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengajar serta mengembangkan kreativitas dan kemandirian guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Objek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa sekolah mitra yang terdiri dari empat MIS di kaki Gunung Salak Kecamatan Taman Sari Kabupaten Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peran perguruan tinggi dalam peningkatan pedagogik dan perencanaan pembelajaran guru, pemanfaatan kebun sekolah sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan nilai positif, kecerdasan naturalistik, dan keterampilan entrepreneur siswa dengan lebih menghargai lingkungan.
