Abstract

Sejak diberlakukan Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) digabung dengan mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dengan nama mata pelajaran IPAS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial).  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar menggunakan model cooperative learning dengan teknik TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pola control group pre-test-post-test design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. Tekhnik analisa data menggunakan rumus uji statistik t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar IPAS siswa  kelas IV materi wujud zat dan perubahannya antara pembelajaran menggunakan model Cooperative Learning dengan teknik TSTS dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Adanya perbedaan beda hasil pre-test dan post-test pada kedua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen sebesar 20,18 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 10,28 menunjukkan  bahwa hasil belajar IPAS materi wujud zat dan perubahannya yang diajar menggunakan model Cooperative Learning dengan teknik TSTS lebih baik dari pada yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar IPAS yang menggunakan Model cooperative learning dengan Teknik TSTS (Two Stay Two Stray) dan pembelajaran konvensional pada siswa Kelas IV SDN Bumianyar II Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools often faces challenges in increasing student engagement and understanding. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the effectiveness of using Scratch as an Innovative Learning Media to Enhance Indonesian Language Comprehension among Elementary School Students. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 50 fifth-grade students divided into two groups: an experimental group using Scratch and a control group using conventional learning methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure students' Indonesian language literacy and were analysed using t-tests. The results showed that the experimental group experienced significant improvement in Indonesian language comprehension compared to the control group, with a post-test significance value of 0.000. These findings indicated that using Scratch as a learning medium could enhance student engagement and understanding of Indonesian. The implications of this study suggested that integrating Scratch-based technology could be implemented as an innovative approach to Indonesian language learning, improving the quality of education and providing an effective alternative for language learning in elementary schools. Further research should expand the sample size and duration to explore the long-term impact of technology use in language learning.

Abstract

Pemerataan pendidikan merupakan permasalahan yang dialami bertahun-tahun silam dan bahkan sampai saat ini rasanya masih belum teratasi. Kondisi ini juga terjadi di Kota Pamekasan Madura, tepatnya di Yayasan Al-Djauhari yang terletak di Desa Tampojung Tenggina Kecamatan Waru Pamekasan. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan wawasan guru terkait lesson study learning community dan keterampilan mereka dalam mengelola pembelajaran berbasis lesson study. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari dua program yaitu workshop lesson study dan yang kedua yakni implementasi lesson study dalam pembelajaran. Mitra kegiatan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu Yayasan Al-Djauhari dan mitra sasaran yaitu melibatkan tiga sekolah di bawah naungan Yayasan Al-Djauhari antara lain SMP Islam Darul Ulum, SMP Islam Al-Hidayah, dan SMP Maarif 11 Pamekasan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian: 1) Terjadi peningkatan rerata wawasan guru terkait lesson study sebesar 60 poin; 2) guru secara kolaboratif mampu melaksanakan lesson study dengan baik.

Abstract

The government system in Indonesia, village/ward, is the lowest organizational unit of Government. The rural population is the essential capital of development. Batu Putih Kenek is a village area with a population that is classified as not too dense; through the latest data obtained from the village office and the results of interviews with the head and village officials obtained data on the population of Batu Putih Kenek Village, namely 2,965 people with details through gender, namely by population male = 1,390 people and female population = 1,573. The method used is the Palricipal Rural Alpralization (PRAl) which is simply the PRAl method is defined as a method in the process of capitalizing on malsyalralkalt by maintaining the awareness of active palsipalsial malsyalralkalt. Even though the library has a significant and strategic role as a partner in supporting the national goal, namely educating the nation's life, the allocation of funds for library development still needs to be improved.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in IPAS learning for Phase B in grade IV at SDN Gedugan II. The Merdeka Curriculum provides students with opportunities to engage in various extracurricular learning activities designed to optimally develop their concepts and competencies. Data for this research were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of relevant documents. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to understand the existing conditions and practices within the educational setting of SDN Gedugan II. The findings of the study indicate that most teachers have successfully implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in IPAS learning for Phase B in grade IV, although there are challenges in its implementation that need to be addressed to enhance the quality of learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan matematika, khususnya pada materi bangun datar, sering kali dianggap sulit oleh siswa di sekolah dasar. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak dalam matematika, yang memerlukan pendekatan yang lebih konkret dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan media puzzle wooden terhadap hasil belajar matematika bangun datar pada siswa fase A di SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah desain eksperimen dengan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media puzzle wooden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar matematika bangun datar pada siswa yang menggunakan media puzzle wooden dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakannya. Media ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika tetapi juga memperkuat keterampilan spasial dan logika siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat menarik perhatian siswa dan membantu mereka memahami materi yang sulit, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran matematika di tingkat pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan penggunaan media puzzle wooden sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar di berbagai mata pelajaran yang berhubungan dengan konsep geometri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila values in the formation of disciplined character of fourth grade students at SDN Pakandangan Barat II and to identify the challenges and strategies implemented by the school. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study, with data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Pancasila values are implemented through daily habits, teacher role models, and extracurricular programs. However, the main obstacles faced are students' lack of understanding of Pancasila values, minimal parental involvement, and the influence of the less conducive outside school environment. To overcome these challenges, the school implemented a reward and punishment strategy, strengthened the role of teachers as role models, and increased parental involvement in the formation of students' disciplined character. This study recommends closer synergy between schools, families, and the social environment in instilling Pancasila values in order to form a strong and sustainable disciplined character in elementary school students. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Big Book terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN Ambunten Tengah II. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis Pre Eksperimental dengan tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas I SDN Ambunten Tengah II yang berjumlah 19 siswa, terdiri dari 14 laki-laki dan 5 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan membaca permulaan dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji hipotesis Paired Sample T-Test dengan bantuan SPSS 29 for Windows. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dengan nilai signifikansi pretest 0,302 > 0,05 dan posttest 0,233 > 0,05. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai probabilitas (Sig) 0,001 ≤ 0,05 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media Big Book terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 69,84 meningkat menjadi 81,53 pada posttest dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 17%. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Big Book berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SDN Ambunten Tengah II.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in each algebraic reasoning indicator in solving generating function problems after implementing the M-APOS approach based on the lesson study learning community. This type of research is classroom action research with a qualitative approach. The lesson study stages are similar to classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects were 23 odd-semester STKIP PGRI Sumenep mathematics education study program students who had passed the prerequisite courses. The research instrument is a problem-solving task related to the generating function and a lesson study observation sheet. Data were analysed using qualitative descriptive analysis by describing the percentage of data obtained by indicators of algebraic reasoning based on the results of observations of the implementation of lesson study and problem-solving tasks. The increase in algebraic reasoning in the indicators of pattern finding, pattern discovery, and generalization, respectively, amounted to 56.17%, 52.73%, and 49.32%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop tolerance attitudes and language skills among elementary school students through the use of folktales as contextual and meaningful learning resources. The research is grounded in the need for instructional practices that integrate character education with language competence development in ways that are culturally relevant to students. A mixed methods sequential explanatory design was employed combining quantitative data to measure improvements in tolerance and language abilities and qualitative data to clarify findings through exploration of students learning experiences when engaging with folktales. The results indicate an increase in students comprehension storytelling ability and interpretation of texts as well as the development of tolerant behaviors including cooperation appreciation of differences and empathy building. Folktales provided a learning environment closely related to students cultural backgrounds and served as a medium for internalizing cultural values that enrich classroom social interactions. This study confirms that integrating folktales into language learning is an effective strategy for enhancing language skills while fostering tolerance among elementary school students. Keywords: Folktales1, Tolerance2, Language Skills3, Elementary Students4 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun sikap toleransi dan keterampilan berbahasa peserta didik sekolah dasar melalui pemanfaatan cerita rakyat sebagai sumber pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan bermakna. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari kebutuhan pembelajaran yang mampu mengintegrasikan nilai karakter dan pengembangan kompetensi bahasa secara seimbang serta relevan dengan lingkungan budaya peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan pendekatan sequential explanatory yang memadukan data kuantitatif untuk mengukur peningkatan sikap toleransi dan keterampilan berbahasa dan data kualitatif untuk memperjelas temuan melalui eksplorasi pengalaman belajar siswa selama menggunakan cerita rakyat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan memahami, menceritakan, dan menafsirkan teks serta perkembangan kecenderungan perilaku toleran seperti kemampuan bekerja sama, menghargai perbedaan, dan membangun empati. Cerita rakyat terbukti memberikan ruang pembelajaran yang dekat dengan kehidupan siswa serta menjadi media internalisasi nilai budaya yang memperkaya interaksi sosial di kelas. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi cerita rakyat dalam pembelajaran bahasa merupakan strategi efektif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi bahasa sekaligus menumbuhkan karakter toleransi pada peserta didik sekolah dasar.
