Abstract

Various factors can influence students' academic achievement, such as mental problems, motivation, parental role or support, and so on. This research was carried out with the aim of empirically testing the influence of parental support and achievement motivation on students' academic achievement in Islamic boarding school-based vocational high schools. The research was conducted at Darut Tauhid Bangil Pasuruan Vocational School, East Java. The population was all class XII students at Darut Tauhid Vocational School who lived in the boarding school, and the Saturated Sampling method was used. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and documentation. The research results show that motivation has a significant positive effect on student academic achievement, and parental support has a significant positive effect on student academic achievement. Motivation and parental support simultaneously influence students' academic achievement in Islamic boarding school-based vocational schools with an influence of 53.7%. Based on these results, we recommend that further research be conducted in public schools, where students can freely take tutoring or study guidance, so that future researchers can use other variables, such as the influence of tutoring or study guidance, friends in the surrounding environment and so on._____________________________________________________________Berbagai faktor dapat mempengaruhi prestasi akademik siswa seperti masalah mental, motivasi, peran atau dukungan orangtua, dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini dilakuan dengan tujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh dukungan orang tua dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi akademik siswa di sekolah menengah kejuruan berbasis pondok pesantren. Penelitian dilakukan di SMKS Darut Tauhid Bangil Pasuruan, Jawa Timur. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMK Darut Tauhid yang tingal di pondok, dan digunakan metode Sampling Jenuh. Teknik pegumpulan data yaitu angket, dan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik siswa, dan dukungan orangtua berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap prestasi akademik siswa. Motivasi dan dukungan orangtua secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap prestasi akademik siswa di SMK berbasis pondok pesantren dengan pengaruh sebesar  53,7 %. Berdasarkan hasil ini, kami merekomendasikan agar penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan di sekolah umum, dimana para siswa dapat secara bebas mengkuti les atau bimbingan belajar, sehingga peneliti selanjutnya dapat menggunakan variabel lainnya, seperti pengaruh les atau bimbingan belajar, teman di lingkungan sekitar dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis mobile dengan visualisasi 3D dalam pembelajaran. Pengaruh tersebut ditinjau dari peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena masih kurangnya pemahaman terhadap materi abstrak dalam pengenalan alat jaringan komputer. Oleh karena itu diperlukan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran yaitu media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa studi literatur dan metode eliminali PICO untuk menentukan inklusi dan ekslusi artike. Sumber literatur yang digunakan berasal dari portal pengindeks Google Scholar, Sinta, Garuda dan lain-lain. Peneliti mendapatkan 11 referensi terkait tujuan penelitian mulai tahun 2020 hingga 2023. Hasil studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan augmented reality dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, meningkatkan minat belajar, meningkatkan hasil belajar dan meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Memahami konsep memainkan peran penting dalam proses belajar. Cara model pembelajaran diterapkan dapat mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman siswa tentang konsep. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah (1) untuk mengeksplorasi interaksi antara tingkat aktivitas dan pemahaman konsep dengan menerapkan dua model pembelajaran yang berbeda; (2) untuk mengungkapkan signifikansi perbedaan dalam memahami konsep antara kelas belajar aktif dan penerapan dua model belajar berbeda; dan (3) untuk menyelidiki perbedaan-perbedaan utama dalam pemahasan konseptual antara kelas aktivitas tinggi dan aktivitas rendah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran campuran berbasis masalah. Prasyarat dan pengujian hipotetis dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman konsep di kelas aktivitas tinggi dan kelas aktivitas rendah, ketika pembelajaran hibrida PBL berbasis STEAM diterapkan, mencapai tingkat pengertian konseptual yang moderat. Pemahaman konceptual di kelas kegiatan tinggi, ketika belajar berbasis PBL dalam pemodelan STEAM diimplementasikan, mencapai level pemahasan konsep moderat, sedangkan tingkat pemahami yang tinggi terjadi dalam pembelajaran aktif dengan penerapan model pembelajaran PBL berdasarkan STEAM yang mendapatkan nilai rata-rata yang rendah karena pemahami konsep yang tidak mencukupi

Abstract

This research delves into the issue of inadequate pedagogical proficiency among vocational high school (SMK) teacher candidates, primarily stemming from the constrained timeframe of educational internships, typically spanning a mere two months. As an option, this study suggests the implementation of an Asistensi Mengajar (AM) initiative within the framework of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Program (MBKM), extending over a semester’s duration. Employing a literature review methodology, the research highlights that the brevity of conventional two-month internships poses a significant impediment to the development of pedagogical acumen among SMK teacher candidates. The proposed option entails an AM program under MBKM, engaging students in bolstering literacy, numeracy, technological adaptability, and school administration skills. The emphasis is laid on the pivotal role of pedagogical competence in ensuring efficacious and dynamic learning processes. A comprehensive grasp of the constituents of pedagogical competence, encompassing sub-competencies and corresponding indicators, is deemed indispensable. Prior studies have evidenced a positive correlation between heightened pedagogical competence and learning efficacy. It is recommended that AM-MBKM programs be extended to students, affording them opportunities to partake in collaborative learning endeavors under the tutelage of teachers and mentoring lecturers within formal educational settings.DOI: 10.17977/jps.v12i22024p057

Abstract

Advances in technology go hand in hand with innovation in the industry, so teachers must prepare students to satisfy industry needs. Teacher apprenticeship is a program that must be implemented in order to improve teacher competence. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a multicase study type. Research on Islamic Vocational School 1 Blitar City and Veterans Vocational School 1 Tulungagung. Based on the findings, the implementation of teacher apprenticeship cannot be separated from the collaboration that exists between SMK and industry. The cooperation includes planning, implementation, evaluation and certification. Teacher internships can be carried out because schools provide support to teachers and industry which always provide opportunities. Obstacles in the implementation of teacher internships exist in the implementation time which must adjust the teacher's teaching hours, so that the implementation time is limited or waiting for holidays.

Abstract

In the implementation of partnerships between SMK and industry so far, there are still problems such as the link and match between SMK and the industrial business world which has not yet led to the formation of a synergistic partnership. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the study of partnership patterns between SMK and PT Advantage SCM. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a multi-case study. The location of this research is at SMK Negeri 1 Doko and SMK Yosonegoro Magetan. The results showed that the planning of the partnership pattern between SMK and PT Advantage SCM was by conducting an MoU and synchronizing the curriculum. Then require teachers and students to take part in internships. Furthermore, the process of collaborating with the graduate distribution program by placing students in banks throughout Indonesia that work with PT Advantage. Supporting factors are adequate facilities and infrastructure and enthusiasm and motivation from the school and industry. The impact of the implementation of the partnership pattern is that students become more enthusiastic and confident, SMK saves on practical costs and is more trusted by the community, and industrial business world can reduce costs for recruitment.

Abstract

A teacher is required to be able to develop competence and update the latest information technology. One form of technology update that can be done by teachers is participating in training programs.. This research uses a qualitative approach by carrying out the type of case study research. The results showed that training planning can be done in several stages. The first stage is the administrative and scheme preparation stage carried out by the committee together with representatives from PT Daihatsu East Java. The implementation of training begins with the socialization of the industrial curriculum, in this program teachers are introduced to industrial competencies which are used as material for curriculum alignment. The next training is the assessment of prospective competency test assessors. The process of becoming a competency test assessor involves several important stages. Prospective assessors must take part in training and examinations organized by PT Daihatsu in the Pintar Bersama Daihatsu (PBD) program. The final result of the assessment of prospective assessors is proven by an assessor certificate that can be used to guarantee the quality of student graduation when conducting competency tests at school.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji dampak kemauan mengakses layanan bimbingan dan konseling terhadap pilihan karier siswa SMK berbasis pesantren. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di SMKS Darut Tauhid Bangil Pasuruan. Sampel siswa diambil melalui pemilihan sampel acak dan dibentuk Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Layanan bimbingan karier berperan untuk: membantu siswa dalam mengenal, mempersiapkan, dan merencanakan karier; membantu siswa untuk mengambil keputusan dalam perencanaan karier; dan membantu siswa memperoleh pengetahuan, sikap, dan ketrampilan dalam pekerjaan. 2) Siswa yang aktif mengakses layanan bimbingan karier sudah memiliki pilihan karier yang jelas, memiliki informasi terkait karier yang baik dan memiliki perencanaan karier yang bagu. 3) Siswa yang tidak aktif mengakses layanan bimbingan karier belum memiliki pilihan karier yang pasti, kurang memiliki informasi terkait karier yang akan mereka ambil dan belum memiliki perencanaan karier yang jelas. Abstract

This research developed a multifunctional machine to improve farm efficiency in Tulungagung, East Java, by combining grass chopper and corn grinder functions in a single device. The machine was tested at three rotational speeds (low, medium, high) and with three materials for chopping (Elephant Grass, Corn Stalks, Sugarcane Tops), as well as three sieve sizes (2mm, 4mm, 6mm) for grinding corn. The results showed that higher rotational speeds and larger sieve diameters increased output production. At high speed, the 6mm sieve produced up to 1385 kg of ground corn. This machine increases time and labor efficiency in feed preparation while reducing production costs through its multifunctional use. This innovation offers a practical solution for farmers in processing livestock feed, enhancing farm productivity and sustainability.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the welfare of corn farmers and poultry farmers in Tempursari Village by providing appropriate technology in the form of a corn grinding machine. The main problem faced is the high price of animal feed, especially corn grits. Through observations and interviews, it was found that farmers and ranchers did not have the knowledge and access to corn milling technology. The service activities include training on the use of the grinding machine, demonstrations, and the handover of the machine to farmer groups. Evaluation results show that this machine can increase the efficiency of feed production, reduce production costs, and increase the added value of corn. The active participation of the community in the training shows their high enthusiasm for this new technology. In conclusion, this service program has successfully provided an effective solution to the problems faced by the people of Tempursari Village. The presence of the corn grinding machine is expected to increase the income of farmers and ranchers and contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in the area
