DEVELOPING ESP TEXTBOOK FOR CULINARY SKILLS PROGRAM OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL USING TASK-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING Novitasari Novitasari; Joko Nurkamto; Diah Kristiana

This research aims at developing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) textbook to fulfil the studentsâ€™ need toward the material at vocational high school using Task-based Language Teaching (TBLT). It was conducted to investigate (1) the quality of the existing course book used in vocational high school, (2) the development of the ESP textbook using TBLT in vocational high school in Pacitan, East Java. The research design used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) proposed by Borg and Gall. This study was oriented to the product development in the form of procedural model and was conducted in two main phases namely (1) exploration phase and (2) product development phase. The exploration phase revealed: (1) the description of the existing course book used in vocational high school and (2) the need analysis of the ESP learning material. While the product development phase explained; (1) the description of the draft of ESP textbook, (2) the result of the trial of the draft, and (3) the final draft of ESP textbook. The data in the exploration stage were collected through conducting document analysis, and having interview. It was carried out to reveal the quality of existing course book used at vocational high school and the learnerâ€™s need toward material. The findings show that the course book used at the vocational high school students contains general English material and it is less specific to be used for the students of culinary skill program. Hence, the findings imply the ESP textbook was needed to be developed by considering the need of the teacher and the students. The ESP textbook was developed by considering some aspects. It contains theoretical theories of ESP and TBLT. Then, it was validated and reviewed by some experts on English language teaching and implemented in class. Through conducting observation, distributing questionnaire, and having focus group discussion that involved the researcher, the teacher, the expert and the students, the draft was revised to be the final draft of ESP textbook. Therefore, after going through the stages, it could be said that the draft is feasible to be applied as supplementary material to teach students of culinary skills program in vocational high school.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Melalui Penerapan Strategi Reading Guide dikolaborasikan dengan Index Card Match dalam proses pembelajaran PKn pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 5 Karanganyar Kabupaten Karanganyar tahun ajaran 2010/2011. Sebelum diberi tindakan motivasi siswa sangat kurang, meski guru telah memberikan pembelajaran tukar kartu namun belum berhasil. Solusi yang ditawarkan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah peneraan strategi pembelajaran Reading Guide dikolaborasikan dengan Index Card Match. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas, kepala sekolah, seluruh siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 5 Karanganyar Kabupaten Karanganyar yang berjumlah 40 dan peneliti itu sendiri. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui informen atau nara sumber, tempat dan peristiwa berlangsungnya aktifitas pembelajaran dan dokumen atau arsip. Pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini terdapat empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Penelitian tindakan ini diharapkan penerapan strategi pembelajaran Reading Guide dikolaborasikan dengan Index Card Match motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran pada siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 5 Karanganyar Kabupaten Karanganyar dapat meningkat minimal 75% dari jumlah keseluruhan 40 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat Motivasi belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran PKn di kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 5 Karanganyar Kabupaten Karanganyar Tahun 2010/2011, yaitu dari siswa yang termotivasi, siwa yang memiliki dorongan untuk belajar, dan siswa yang senang mengikuti pembelajaran sebanyak 14 siswa (35%). Setelah dilakukan tindakan yang disepakati yaitu melalui penerapan strategi Reading Guide dikolaborasikan dengan Index Card Match dalam proses pembelajaran PKn diperoleh hasil yaitu pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 27 siswa (67,50%). Setelah dilakukan tindakan yang direvisi pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 35 siswa (87,50%). Hasil penelitian ini sudah memenuhi indikator kinerja.

This study aims to determine the characteristics of consumers and consumer perceptions in making decisions about purchasing traditional food of Bogor, figure out the purchase decisions of traditional food of Bogor, find the correlation between characteristics and perceptions of consumers in decision-making of Bogor traditional food. Tourists who visited Bogor became the populations of this research. The samples are100 people using the Probability Sampling technique: Stratified random sampling. The results showed that the characteristics of consumers were dominated by women with an average age of 23-28 years, with Diploma / Bachelor education, with an average monthly income of Rp. 3,000,000-Rp. 4,000,000 and working as a private employee. Consumer perception in purchasing decisions of traditional food of Bogor showed the "upper" category because the average score obtained from the product quality indicator is 4.14, service quality is 3.85, prices is 3.88 and brands is 4.20 (scale 1 to 5). The decision to purchase a Bogor traditional food shows an average score with "agree” in category on each indicators about purchasing stability in a product of 3.98, the goal of buying a product of 3.81, information processing for up to purchase of 3.95, provide recommendations to others amounting to 3.46 (scale 1 to 5). There is no significant correlation between the characteristics of consumers with purchasing decision making with a correlation level of -0.024 (negative) means the the relationship between the two variables is opposing direction. The results of the analysis of the relationship between consumer perception variables with purchasing decision making showed a significant relationship with a correlation level of 0.360 (positive) with a high degree of correlation, so that the relationship between the two variables is unidirectional.Keywords: Consumer Perception, Consumer Behavior, Purchasing Decision Maker.

This study aims to describe the correlation between the sub-subjects of thermochemistry based on the value of the correlation coefficient and the correlation between sub-subjects of thermochemistry based on the average value (mean) of the test results. This research is a descriptive research that uses a quantitative approach and is included in the type of correlational research. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya, SMA Negeri 2 Palangka Raya, and SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya for the 2018/2019 academic year with a total of 514 students. The data used in the form of data on students' ability to the concept of thermochemistry which is indicated by the achievement of indicators. The data was collected through a test using multiple choice questions (TKT) as many as 32 questions. Student ability test data in the form of answers were analyzed using correlation and descriptive methods. The results showed that the order of presentation of the thermochemical sub-topic based on the correlation coefficient values, namely: (1) bond energy (ENIKA), (2) heat and reaction enthalpy change (KPER), (3) thermochemical equation (PETER), (4) standard enthalpy changes for various reactions (PESBR), and (5) determination of reaction enthalpy changes (PENER). The order of presentation above is different from the order based on the syllabus.

The Influence of Online Customer Reviews and Online Customer Ratings on Purchasing Decision in the Tokopedia Marketplace”, Thesis of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, University of Singaperbangsa Karawang.The purpose of this study is to find out, analyse, and explain the description of each variable, the magnitude of the relationship between Online Customer Reviews and Online Customer Ratings on the Tokopedia Marketplace, and the amount of influence partially and simultaneously Online Customer Reviews and Online Customer Ratings on Purchasing Decision in the Tokopedia Marketplace. By using quantitative methods and using descriptive analysis and verification. The analysis tool used is path analysis (path analysis). Samples taken were 125 respondents. Data collection techniques used are literature and field data collection by distributing questionnaires online. The results showed that Online Customer Reviews and Online Customer Ratings have a strong relationship. As well as Online Customer Reviews and Online Customer Ratings have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decision.

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the legal protection of victims of sexual intercourse in the criminal justice process against residents who experience mild mental retardation. The approach method used is empirical juridical lemphasizes obtaining legal knowledge empirically by going directly to the object with the theory of intentionality and will towards the problem under study. The results of the study that the application of legal protection for victims of the crime of sexual intercourse in the criminal justice process for victims of crime, especially victims of mild mental retardation/intellectual disability, to get protection in the form of granting victims' rights. The existence of compensation in the form of compensation, restitution and rehabilitation provided by the perpetrator to the victim considering the impact caused by the perpetrator's actions, physical, social, and psychological impacts. Although the defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for 7 (seven) years and 6 (six) months. The sentence handed down to the perpetrator is not commensurate with the suffering experienced by the victim.

ABSTRACT The lack of knowledge about transaction bookkeeping and the preparation of financial reports according to standards makes the level of MSME tax compliance in Bogor Regency is still relatively low. The existence of these problems made the group of lecturers in the field of Accounting expertise at the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ) try to contribute in terms of education and assistance to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) group of Bogor Regency in the form of training programs and assistance in preparing financial reports with MSEI standards (Micro Small Entities and Intermediate). This training activity aims to provide MSME actors with knowledge and skills in bookkeeping using the Accurate Lite application as an effort to improve MSME tax compliance. The training method uses case study methods and work instructions, where training materials are given in the form of cases and trainees carry out bookkeeping practices directly in the Accurate Lite application based on work instructions from tutors. As a result of the training activities, there was an increase in knowledge of accounting and taxation as well as an increase in the skills of the trainees in recording business transactions and compiling financial reports. Furthermore, it is hoped that the MSME players participating in the training can consistently do bookkeeping using the Accurate Lite application anywhere, anytime, not limited by space and time, because Accurate Lite can be downloaded on the device of each training participant. The conclusion of the activity is that the training activities that have been carried out have been able to improve participants' accounting literacy so that participants can manage their business finances better in an effort to improve their tax compliance. Masalah umum terkait dengan kajian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning untuk meningkatkan motivasi hasil belajar dalam pelajaran IPA SD. Model pembelajaran discovery learning adalah model pembelajaran yang meningkatkan pada kontruktivisme, tentang pentingnya proses pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa dan guru dapat aktiv dalam proses pembelajaran. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran di kelas guna meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran IPA. Pada pengambilan metode pembelajaran discovery learning dapat membuat siswa lebih aktif, kreatif, memiliki rasa ingin tahu dalam melakukan percobaan, banyaknya pertanyaan yang diajukan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dengan penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada pembelajaran IPA SD menunjukan adaya peningkatan pada minat belajar dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA SD.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pemasaran PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil. Penelitian dilakukan delapan bulan mulai Februari 2022. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data wawancara, obesrvasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi pemasaran PT Borobudur Oto Mobil pada kuadran I sehingga strategi agresif yang diterapkan yaitu: memanfaat peluang untuk meningkatkan loyalitas konsumen, menjaga agar kualitas mobil terjamin, memperkuat jaringan pemasaran, meningkatkan kerjasama dengan mitra, menjaga stabilitas keuangan perusahaan, memperluas pangsa pasar dengan meningkatkan promosi di berbagai media secara offline dan online. PT Borobudur Oto Mobil disarankan untuk meningkatkan kerjasama dengan perusahaan otomotif dengan membuat kontrak secara tertulis untuk menjaga stabilitas harga, meningkatkan kualitas produk sehingga mampu memenangkan persaingan, memperluas jaringan pemasaran dengan melakukan pemasaran secara online di berbagai media social dan e-commerce.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Political Cost, and Litigation Risk Against Accounting Conservatism. The population of this study is all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 - 2018. Samples selected by use purposive sampling and get 63 companies based on criteria. This research uses multiple linear regression model. The results of this study indicate that the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Political Cost, and Litigation Risk influences Accounting Conservatism. The adoption of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) has a negative effect on Accounting Conservatism. Political Cost has a positive effect on Accounting conservatism. Political Cost has a positive effect on Accounting Conservatism.Keywords: IFRS, Political Costs, Litigation Risk, Accounting Conservatism.
