Abstract

Along with the development of internet technology, recipes can easily be obtained from various sources, such as websites, mobile applications, and social media. The variety of recipes that available in various media still have one disadvantage: it can not accommodate user preferences. In this kind of problem, the role of a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed by people who actively cook using recipes in daily cooking activities. DSS recommendations for recipes can be built by using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) algorithm. The variables chosen as criteria for recipe recommendations are duration of cooking, level of complexity, and calories. The ranking consistency test aims to see if there is a ranking reversal (the first ranking is swapped with the latest ranking) when there is a change in the number of recipes (alternatives). The purpose of this research is to find out the reliability of the SAW algorithm in the issue of recipe recommendations. The ranking consistency test result shows consistency of 100% and there is no rank reversal (last recommendation becomes first recommendation) for this case.

Abstract

The Iqro’ has been proven as an effective method to improve literacy for reading Hijaiyah letters which are the fundamental skill for reading the Qur’an. The Iqro method relies on a mentor to evaluate the accuracy of the student’s pronunciation of the Hijaiyah letters. With the advancement of mobile technology, many mobile apps are available to assist the learning process. However, the existing solution that is available on the market only provides a one-way learning experience where users only focus on enhancing vocabulary, writing, and reading ability with a simple true-false assessment. Although enhancing the vocabulary and reading ability is important, training the correct Makhraj (Arabic pronunciation) is also essential in fundamental Hijaiyah learning. This paper presents the feasibility investigation of the usage of the pitch, volume, and rhythm as the more comprehensive audio assessment parameters in the voice recognition module to evaluate the student's ability to pronounce the Hijaiyah letter in an m-learning implementation. Instead of just presenting the true-false output, the proposed method will calculate the Makhraj correctness in the range 0 to 100. Experimental results with 10 respondents show that the sample correlation coefficient using Pearson between a manual assessment by Ustaz and the application result for Iqro’ level 1 is 0.51 which means this approach is acceptable for future implementation.

Abstract

Dimensi tiga terdiri atas elemen panjang, lebar dan tinggi yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan bentuk bangun ruang. Namun, kesulitan dalam mendeskripsikan bentuk dapat menjadi kendala bagi siswa dalam memahami materi dimensi tiga. Hal ini disebabkan kemampuan visualisasi siswa yang kurang. Apalagi belum diimbangi dengan pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran. Dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut diperlukan media pembelajaran digital untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi dimensi tiga. Menggunakan aplikasi ini, pengguna dapat membaca materi, mengerjakan latihan, mengerjakan kuis, dan mengukur pemahaman materi secara mandiri. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan Android Studio dengan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall. Pengembangan dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi dan pengujian. Kebutuhan fungsional diuji menggunakan black-box testing, sedangkan kebutuhan non-fungsional diuji menggunakan compatibility testing dan usability testing. Black-Box Testing menghasilkan validitas 100%. Compatibility testing dilakukan menggunakan fitur Test Lab Firebase, menghasilkan 6 versi android dapat menjalankan aplikasi dengan baik pada versi minimum 7.0 (Nougat) dan versi maksimum 10 (Android Q). Usability testing dilakukan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS), diperoleh nilai SUS sebesar 87.5. Interpretasi yang diperoleh adalah Grade A+ dengan adjective Best Imagineable dan termasuk dalam kategori dapat diterima. AbstractThe third dimension consists of length, width and height which are used to describe three-dimensional shapes. However, difficulties in describing three-dimensional shapes can be an obstacle for students in understanding three-dimensional material. This is due to the student’s lack of visualization skills. Moreover, it has not been matched by the use of technology as a learning medium. In overcoming this problem, digital learning media is needed to increase student interest in learning and understanding of three-dimensional material. Using this application, users can read the material, do exercises, take quizzes, and measure understanding of the material independently. This application was built using Android Studio with the Waterfall software development life cycle. Development starts from requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing. Functional requirements are tested using black-box testing, while non-functional requirements are tested using compatibility testing and usability testing. Black-Box Testing yields 100% validity. Compatibility testing is carried out using the Firebase Test Lab feature, resulting in 6 android versions running the application well on a minimum version 7.0 (Nougat) and a maximum version 10 (Android Q). Usability testing was performed using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method, and the SUS value was 87.5. The interpretation obtained is Grade A + with the Adjective Best Imagineable and is included in the acceptable category.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID 19 membuat industri pada sektor properti dan perumahan mengalamani tekanan yang besar. Salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang property adalah PT. Karya Propertindo Utama dengan produk Perumahan Balimbingan Permai. Permasalahan yang dialami Balimbingan Permai adalah dari data penjualan tahunan terdapat peningkatan jumlah batal beli rumah yang signifikan dimana pembeli yang tertarik untuk membeli tidak dapat melakukan survey lokasi secara langsung dikarenakan terbatasnya akses ke lokasi perumahan akibat kondisi pandemi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dikembangkan sebuah aplikasi tur interaktif berbasis virtual reality untuk perumahan Balimbingan Permai. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sebuah aplikasi yang fitur utamanya adalah untuk mengelola dan menampilkan semua katalog jenis dan detail dari unit rumah dengan teknologi Virtual Reality sehingga bisa digunakan sebagai solusi alternatif bagi calon pembeli yang tidak bisa melakukan survey lokasi dengan keterbatasn waktu maupun jarak. Hasil pengujian usability menggunakan SUPR-Qm yang dilakukan kepada 5 responden didapatkan hasil bahwa untuk aplikasi pengguna didapatkan skor nilai 82% (excellent). Aplikasi untuk admin mendapatkan nilai usability sebesar 91,3% (best imaginable) yang berarti bahwa aplikasi dapat dengan baik berjalan dan mudah dipahami oleh pengguna. Pengujian compatibility menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat dijalankan pada sistem operasi Android dengan versi 6.0 sampai dengan 11 sehingga dapat mengakomodasi hampir semua skenario pada perangkat Android yang digunakan pengguna. AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has put the industry in the property and housing sectors under great pressure. One of the companies engaged in property is PT. Karya Propertindo Utama with Balimbingan Permai Regency products. The problem experienced by Balimbingan Permai is that from annual sales data there is a significant increase in the number of canceled house purchases where buyers who are interested in buying cannot conduct site surveys directly due to limited access to housing locations due to pandemic conditions. Based on these problems, an interactive virtual reality-based tour application for Balimbingan Permai housing was developed. The main feature of the proposed app is to manage and display all types and details of the house unit catalog in Virtual Reality so that it can be used as an alternative solution for prospective buyers who cannot conduct direct site surveys due to limited time and distance issue. The usability testing results on a total of 20 respondents showed that the application for users received a usability value response of 82%, which was included in the excellent category. The admin side application gets a usability value of 91.3% which falls into a Best Imaginable adjective rating which means that users can accept the application. Compatibility testing shows that the application can run properly when accommodating almost all usage scenarios on Android versions 6.0 to 9.0

Abstract

Jurusan Teknik Pengairan Universitas Brawijaya (UB) merupakan salah satu jurusan yang berada Fakultas Teknik Universitas Brawijaya. Jurusan ini memiliki website dengan alamat www.pengairan.ub.ac.id yang digunakan sebagai media informasi kepada sivitas akademika. Namun, website tersebut tidak menyediakan informasi yang terbaru. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan pihak jurusan, ditemukan permasalahan bahwa para operator memiliki sedikit pengetahuan dan ketidakkemampuan dalam mengelola website jurusan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam mengelola website menjadi solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Metode pelatihan yang sesuai dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah yang dikombinasikan dengan metode demonstrasi. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada 20-22 September 2021 dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 16 orang. Hasil pelatihan yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dosen dan tenaga kependidikan Jurusan Pengairan dalam memanfaatkan website jurusan untuk memberikan informasi akademik pada program studi di Jurusan Teknik Pengairan UB.Department of Irrigation Engineering is one of the departments in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Brawijaya. This department has a website with the address www.pengairan.ub.ac.id, a medium of information for academics. However, the website needs to provide updated information. Based on the results of interviews with the department, it was found that the operators needed more knowledge and were unable to manage the department's website. Therefore, training and mentoring activities in managing websites are the solutions to this problem. The appropriate training method for this activity is the lecture combined with the demonstration method. This training activity was held on 20-22 September 2021 with 16 participants. The training results can improve the knowledge and skills of Lecturers and Educational Staff of the Department of Irrigation in utilizing the department's website to provide academic information on study programs in the Department of Irrigation Engineering UB.

Abstract

In many situations, ophthalmologists prescribe glasses and contact lenses as a treatment method for Myopia. The other way to cure myopia is by performing Lasik surgery or using advanced tools which takes a large amount of financial effort. Dr. William Horatio Bates proposed a promising method to cure myopia with an eye exercise approach, providing opportunities to enhance the availability of low-cost eye treatment that is not easily achievable with surgery and other expensive approaches. However, many myopia patients are still unaware of this method and have no idea how to use it in their daily lives. The rapid growth of virtual reality (VR) technology has shown that this technology offers an affordable and effective solution to provide better health services. This paper expands the result of an initial experiment aimed to validate the utilization of mobile VR technology to enhance the possibility of the Bates method implementation as a low-cost daily eye exercise tool. A direct diary study with 14 participants was carried out to explicitly investigate the feasibility of the proposed app. The result reveals that the proposed app could assist people with myopia when doing eye exercises and the result is quite promising in reducing the refractive levels with 0.13 diopter on average within 5 weeks period.

Abstract

In App Purchase System is one of Google Play's features that allows developers to sell additional contents on applications that available on Google Play. But the In App Purchase System has its shortcomings, it can be hacked by VirtualSwindler system. LuckyPatcher is an example of VirtualSwindler system that able to manipulate signature verification process and save unauthentic purchase data into the local device system. The combination of 3 security methods, Server Side Verification, Verification Bypass Detection, dan Obfuscator, successfuly secure the In App Purchase system of a Weather Information App from the attacks of LuckyPatcher with 100% of accuracies . Verification Bypass Detection will determine wether the verification process is authentic or not. Server Side Verification will check the authenticity of saved purchase data without the worries of being manipulated by the compromised In App Purchase system. Obsfucator can keep the saved data secure from unauthentic modifications.

Abstract

The common treatment for the myopia is by using the glasses, the other ways to cure this problem is doing lasiik surgery, but it takes large amount of financial so only people who have good financial can do this solution. The bates method which have found by Dr. William Horatio Bates 100 years ago was easy and can be used by everyone to cure myopia. The bates method has implemented to an application which using virtual reality technology, this implementation have a purpose to train eyebrow muscle eye easily and independently. The using of gyroscope sensor in smartphone and google vr sdk support eyebrow muscle eye training on bates method. The simulation in this training using the green pointer which move based on training technique. The user using this application in period 30 days and 5-10 minutes training duration each day. The measurement of myopia scale done on the first day and 5 times in period 30 days with interval 6 day using in-app features. The result of effectiveness testing for 12 respondent show the avarage decrease of myopia scale is 0.22D. This result come near with the result of Hildeth's research in 1947 that show result 0.25D. This successfull testing show that virtual reality implementation is effective with bates method.

Abstract

Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) is a matter that must be studied and even memorized for people engaged in their field, such as police, law enforcement officials, judges, lawyers or persons associated with the trial. KUHP is a book in which it consists of dozens of chapters and hundreds of chapters with a total of 569 articles, so that with a thick book it will become very inefficient and practical if it must be brought and also if you want to find related chapters that must open the page one by one manual. Based on these conditions in this study developed applications using synonym recognition and cosine similarity methods. Synonym recognition is a technique used to recognize words with different writing but has the same meaning. The cosine similarity method is used to calculate the similarity or closeness of the chapter documents with the query. The performance of the system is indicated by the results of the tests on each threshold variation of 5, 10 and 15, with optimal performance is at threshold 15 which has f.measure value of 0.404.

Abstract

One of the factors which can keep a company to running theirs smoothly is the ability to maintain customer loyalty. On a new company, maintaining loyalty is not easy to do because there are several factors that must be addressed. There is a tranportation company that succeeds in maintaining loyalty which is always use business support technology that is intended to focus on the responsibilities of each fleet of drivers. This technology is beneficial for the cost efficiency that customers can feel. Therefore, the case study in this study is on a company that still has employee performance problems that is Taptopick company that serves laundry on-demand in Jakarta. The problem is the difficulty of monitoring the work performed by employees which can causing some problems such as spend too much times of order pickup process which can result in customer disappointment. Based on this problem, this study will design and build a vehicle tracking application which can installed in various operation systems owned by couriers by utilizing cross-platform technology with portable class library method. The results of this research are the list of functional and non-functional requirements of the application, designs models and explanation of how this is implemented. Then for usability testing of the implementation in building the Vehicle Tracking Application was obtained satisfactory results with an average above the standard that is 83,33.
