Abstract

This research addresses the challenge of optimizing rule creation for palm oil production at PT Tapiana Nadenggan. It deals with the complexity of diverse agricultural variables, environmental factors, and the dynamic nature of palm oil production. The existing problem lies in the limitations of conventional decision tree models—J48, reduced error pruning (REP), and random—in capturing the nuanced relationships within the intricate palm oil production system. The study introduces hybrid decision tree models—specifically J48-REP, REP-Random, and Random-J48—to address this challenge via combination scenarios. This approach aims to refine and update the rule creation process, enabling the recognition of nuanced performance processes within the selected decision tree combinations. To comprehensively tackle this challenge and problem, the study employs Tsukamoto’s fuzzy inference system (FIS) for a sophisticated performance comparison. Despite the complexity, intriguing results emerge after the forecasting process, with the standalone J48 decision tree achieving 85.70% accuracy and the combined J48-REP excelling at 93.87%. This highlights the potential of decision tree combinations in overcoming the complexities inherent in forecasting palm oil production, contributing valuable insights for informed decision-making in the industry.

Abstract

Coconut shells and rice husks as alternative raw materials to reduce the use of inorganic energy, from the results of previous research, rice husks have a low calorific value, so to increase the calorific value it is necessary to add other materials that have a better calorific value, other alternatives as The support is coconut shell. The research method was carried out using experimental testing, starting with the burning process to become charcoal, the process of refining the material (mesh), the molding process, and the drying process, the briquette lab test process. In the mixing process, the adhesive material is bran adhesive with a concentration of 1.3. The aim of this test was to analyze the calorific value, water content and amount of ash contained in the briquettes. The research results showed that the calorific value of rice bran husks was 4375.42 Calories/gram, air content 23.43%, dust content 33.79%, and for rice husk coconut shell the calorific value is 5925.96 calories/gram, water content 19.4%, dust content 18.3%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem plumbing pada gedung sekolah bertingkat 3 di Tagulandang Sulawesi Utara dengan fokus pada efisiensi dan keberlanjutan. Perancangan sistem mencakup distribusi air bersih, pembuangan air kotor, dan penanganan air hujan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan air, desain jaringan pipa, dan simulasi performa sistem. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan air bersih untuk gedung sekolah tersebut adalah sekitar 161,64 m3 per hari. Distribusi air bersih dirancang menggunakan pipa berdiameter 1,5 inci untuk memastikan aliran yang cukup ke seluruh lantai. Sistem pembuangan air kotor menggunakan pipa berdiameter 2 inci untuk memastikan pembuangan yang efektif dan menghindari penyumbatan. Jumlah unit beban alat plambing seluruh gedung ini adalah 45 Buah, Jumlah pemakaian air puncak untuk gedung secara keseluruhan adalah 112.25 liter/menit. Perancangan ini juga mempertimbangkan penggunaan teknologi hemat air, seperti keran otomatis dan toilet dengan dual flush, untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan air. Simulasi performa sistem menunjukkan bahwa desain ini dapat mengurangi penggunaan air hingga 20% dibandingkan dengan sistem konvensional. Dengan demikian, diharapkan sistem plumbing yang dirancang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan gedung sekolah bertingkat 3 di Tagulandang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi potensi daya listrik dari turbin Archimedes screw yang diaplikasikan di Sungai Ciasihan, Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa turbin ini memiliki efisiensi yang sangat tinggi pada sudut kemiringan 30 derajat dan 35 derajat, dengan efisiensi masing-masing mencapai 96,8% dan 98,8%. Efisiensi yang tinggi ini memungkinkan turbin untuk menghasilkan daya listrik yang signifikan, yaitu 27,036 kW pada sudut 30 derajat dan 27,594 kW pada sudut 35 derajat. Desain turbin Archimedes screw yang sederhana namun efisien juga menunjukkan fleksibilitas dan adaptabilitas yang baik terhadap variasi kondisi aliran air di sungai. Dengan berbagai sudut kemiringan dan parameter desain yang dapat disesuaikan, turbin ini mampu mencapai performa optimal. Selain itu, variasi jumlah ulir dan pitch turbin memungkinkan penyesuaian lebih lanjut untuk mengoptimalkan produksi listrik sesuai dengan karakteristik aliran Sungai Ciasihan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa turbin Archimedes screw dapat memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap kebutuhan energi listrik setempat, menjadikannya pilihan yang layak dan efisien untuk aplikasi di sungai dengan karakteristik serupa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menganalisis kinerja mesin pemarut kelapa listrik AC. Mesin ini dilengkapi dengan pisau parut berdiameter 60 mm yang berputar dengan kecepatan 700 rpm. Bahan poros yang digunakan adalah baja karbon S35C dengan tegangan geser (σ) sebesar 52 kg/mm. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memarut sebuah kelapa dengan tebal rata-rata 14 mm dan massa rata-rata 0,40 kg adalah 39 detik. Kapasitas ini menunjukkan bahwa mesin pemarut kelapa yang dirancang mampu bekerja dengan efisien dan memenuhi kebutuhan industri dalam skala besar. Studi ini juga merekomendasikan beberapa perbaikan untuk meningkatkan performa dan umur pakai mesin pemarut kelapa. Abstract

This research was conducted because of complaints from several parents regarding the BSM decision at SDN Kalanganyar ABC, however there were several students who were less well off because the choice of BSM was still subjective. SDN Kalanganyar ABC always holds activities related to BSM admissions once a year. It is hoped that this activity can also provide benefits for students who are poor but have excellent grades so they can carry out activities without being burdened by financial needs. In reality, there are still many students who do not receive BSM, even though according to the requirements, these students should be entitled to receive BSM. Therefore, there is a very irrational subjectivity in the ongoing elections. To overcome this problem, researchers tried to develop an application that applies the Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) method, namely a method that makes decisions based on a rational compromise of criteria. These criteria include student reports, parents' income, academic achievement, dependents, home conditions, parents' relatives, and activity. From the results of the analysis and application of the VIKOR decision support system, subjective results were obtained for students whose evaluation standards and final decisions were lower than several other students, but the school provided BSM recommendations. To prevent the recurrence of this incident, VIKOR was able to answer objective findings with results of 76.57% with subjective findings of 23.43% in the previous system.

Abstract

Usaha budidaya tambak ikan bandeng dilihat secara teoritis dapat memberikan prospek sisi ekonomi yang lebih menjanjikan, karena mengingat ikan bandeng hingga saat ini tetap menjadi komoditas budidaya ikan yang paling banyak diproduksi dan juga dikonsumsi di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data dari KKP, pada tahun 2014 yang lalu, produksi bandeng Indonesia tercatat sebesar 600.000 ton. Sementara pada tahun 2015 ditargetkan produksi bandeng bisa naik menjadi 800.000 ton.dari hasil pelatihan yang sudah dilakukan menghasilkan Teknologi yang telah diterapkan berupa teknologi pengolahan produk olahan ikan bandeng menjadi bandeng presto dan bandeng isi pada kelompok mitra. produk bandeng presto dan bandeng isi yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengabdian, sudah cukup baik dan mempunyai potensi untuk pengembangan usaha produk olahan ikan bandeng , dan mengaktifkan masyarakat untuk mengembangkan penganekaragaman produk olahan ikan bandeng menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomi dengan memahami teknologi yang telah diberikan dalam penyuluhan, pelatihan serta pendampingan

Abstract

The election of the BEM President is a hereditary tradition at XYZ University every year. This election was carried out to find a leader who has a firm personality and broad insight. As the number of students at XYZ University increased, we doubled the election using the Weighted Product (WP) method with the conditions that we had determined with the campus. So we are sure that this method will produce the leaders we expect, and also in this way the campus automatically saves budget for voting or direct elections. The WP method which is quantitative in decision making, the WP method uses multiplication to link attribute ratings, where the rating of each attribute must be raised to the first power of the attribute weight in question. By applying the WP method to decision support system, then implementing it into a ranking system, it will produce students who deserve to become BEM in the next period. There is a WP method at XYZ University in order to get a BEM President who meets the criteria we set. Where the existing criteria consist of TPA criteria, Liveliness, Commitment, GPA, Absent, and Age. After calculating using the WP method, it was found that the strongest student who deserved to be president of BEM was Siti Munawaroh who was ranked first. The results of the recommended method by conducting a questionnaire to the BEM management by producing an accuracy of 0.01356.

Abstract

Violence against children in Indonesia has increased significantly. Data on the number of sexual violence cases from the Ministry of PPA shows that the number of victims of violence against children is increasing continuously from 2020 - 2023. This takes the form of physical, sexual violence, emotional abuse or neglect of children. The impact of violence on children is very detrimental to children's development, both physically and psychologically. One of the triggers for increasing violence against children is easy access to information through digital media. In the era of digitalization, children get information easily, by using cellphone communication facilities. This service was carried out for students at SDN Ciketing Udik 3 Bantar Gebang, Bekasi City to strengthen their understanding of forms of bullying violence, especially among children at school. The method is by means of presentation, discussion/consultation, and pre-test & post-test. The result of this activity was an increase in the aspects of knowledge, understanding and application of bullying among students at SDN Ciketing Udik 3. Bantar Gebang, Bekasi City. However, aspects of understanding and implementing bullying still need to be improved to prevent them from becoming victims of bullying.
