Abstract

The research was conducted about dirt pig compost with variation of composition, Toksicity of it was detected by influence to Growth Of Lombok Rawit ( Capsicum Frutescens). The composition of it is I ( pig dirt 40%, hay 40%, dregs know 18%, dolomit 20%), II ( pig dirt 60%, hay 22%, dregs know 13%, dolomit 2%), and III ( pig dirt 70%, hay 13%, dregs know 15%, dolomit 2%). Growth of microorganism in compost process cover two phase that is ferment phase and maturation Process of composting with composition of III ( pig dirt 70%, hay 13%, dregs know 15%, dolomit 2%) owning best quality. That shown from speed of maturation time posed at stability of temperature and pH reached at period six week, influence to growth of lombok rawit ( Capsicum Frutescens) tried give best level of growth that seen amount of leaf more than composition I and II.

Abstract

The research about biodegradation of dodecyl benzene sulfonat ( DBS) has been conducted by using bacterium of sediment of Tebe River in Denpasar. Goals of research were to determine curve of growth bacterium in DBS media and its ability to degradation of DBS. Determination of research consist of exponential phase of bacterium, measurement of volatyl suspended solid (VSS), biologycal oxygen demand (BOD), and biodegradation rate of DBS. Isolate that isolation from Tebe River of Denpasar was seed in DBS media (1g of DBS ;1,5g of NPK ; and 0,2 g of MgSO4.7 H2O to dissolved in 1 L aquadest) with control of growth by measurement of VSS during 12 hours. Active mud that seeding was used to treat of waste water with DBS content. Counted 200 ml active mud in exponential phase, enhanced by 800 ml of waste with DBS content. Measure value of BOD and DBS content, and analysis its rate of decrease. Result of the research indicate that exponential phase of bacterium at an hour of eight with value of VSS equal to 1421,73 mg /l. During treatment of waste, value of BOD and DBS has decreased from initial. Rate of BOD decrease happened to 3 days that following equation is y = - 0,167 X + 3,932 with rate of decrease is 0,167 mg /l. Rate of degradation of DBS quickly, is indicated to 3 days by following fast equation is y = - 0,306X + 6,714 with rate of degrade equal to 0,306 mg /l.

Abstract

Sludge of waste treatment represent main problem of processing chemically because needing special handling. Processing of this mud cost money which quite a lot, at least 50% from expense of processing of waste water needed to to overcome yielded mud, as a result most in Indonesia this direct mud thrown to river or piled up. Treatment of sludge was composting with inoculate microorganism from several of sediment and soil. Phase of seeding was conducted by addition of NPK and other micro-nutrient in 3 L of basin. Growth of microorganism was measured of each every 2 day during one week with measuring value of biomass till reach price 2000 mg / L. Active mud as product inoculated to composting process of organic material with sludge. All active mud result of seed into each place of that is Place of A : active mud of river sediment of Badung, Place of B : active mud of moat sediment, place of C : active mud of fertile land, Place of D : without addition of active mud as control. Change of fastest physical happened at sample with addition of active mud from fertile land. Degradation of rate of C organic and highest total N happened at sample with addition from active mud of moat, while highest available K happened at sample with addition from active mud of fertile land. Rate of N highest total obtained by sample with addition from active mud of River of Badung and from fertile land. Product of composting process were fulfill SNI (19-7030-2004) for the parameter of physical that is temperature, color and odour

Abstract

AbstractResearch about treatment of waste water power plant operation of PT Indonesia Power atDenpasar with the flotation and activated sludge method has been carried out. The objectiveof research is determine optimum treatment time in flotation and activated sludge todecrease oil and COD content of wastewater. In the flotation stage, 8 liters of waste waterpower plant operation of PT Indonesia Power aerated by aerators for 60 minutes. After theflotation treatment waste water treated by activated sludge method for 24 hours. Theresults of research showed that the time of treatment in the 60th minute the flotation processcapable to reduce the oil contents reach 450 mg/L with the treatment effectiveness of 97,92%.At the time of treatment in the 24 hours, the activated sludge process has been able toreduce the oil content reach 0 mg/L with treatment effectiveness is 100% and reduce CODvalue reach 27,63 mg/L with the treatment effectiveness of 70,59%. Oil content and CODvalue obtained from are effluent of flotation and activated sludge below Class III WaterQuality according to PerGub Bali Number 8 in 2007 (1 mg/L and 50 mg/L respectively).

Abstract

Active mud represent process processing of biology by aerobic by using system ofsuspended growth. Microorganism staying in form of suspended referred also solidsuspended liquor mixed ( SSLM), work by fastening organic substrate later thenelaborating it with enzyme of exocelluler so that become its dissolve. Process resolving ofcompounds of organic, microorganism get the source of and carbon of energy. Mudsuspended conducted by 1 g follow the example of Mud or sediment thinned withphysiological condensation ( 8,5 NaCl g / L) and dissolve up to 10-4 ,or can be conductedby taking 0,5 g of sediment into tube reaction of containing 4,5 physiological saltcondensation then shake to get homogeneous suspended. suspended and disseminated bycontaining solder cup on specific media, and then incubation at temperature 270C during24 - 48 hour. Obtained by isolate of RPH1,RPH2, PP, SBDG and STT. During process ofseeding measured parameters, there are VSS and COD that measured base on timeduring treatment. Its process was result RPH2 isolate that showing higher growth ofmicrobiologist activity then another. Result of the research showing that VSS and CODhas highest during treatment.
