Abstract

Morals as an element in Islamic Education and Character subjects in the Independent Curriculum have continuous learning outcomes and teaching materials from primary to secondary education levels. However, moral crises such as student brawls, bullying, and so on, are still widespread in the school environment. It is hoped that the moral elements in Islamic Education and Characteristics can be a solution to this problem. This research aims to map learning outcomes and teaching materials for moral elements in the Independent Curriculum. The focus of the study includes morals towards Allah SWT, fellow humans and oneself, to ensure continuity between learning outcomes and teaching materials with student development and Islamic teachings about morals. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods on curriculum documents and PAI and Budi Pekerti textbooks in the Merdeka Curriculum version. The results of the research produced a comprehensive mapping of learning outcomes and PAI teaching materials and moral elements in the Independent Curriculum which are in line with student development and the values ​​of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dalam meningkatkan pemahaman keberagamaan siswa di SMA IT As-Syifa Boarding School Wanareja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan guru, siswa, dan kepala sekolah, observasi, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode talaqqi (pengajaran langsung) dan kajian tafsir terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif siswa terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Selain itu, metode ini juga berkontribusi signifikan dalam mengembangkan sikap religius siswa (dimensi afektif) dan menguatkan pengamalan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (dimensi psikomotorik). Integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, seperti penggunaan aplikasi Al-Qur’an digital, turut memperkaya pengalaman belajar dan meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Meskipun demikian, tantangan terkait keterbatasan akses teknologi dan kebutuhan dukungan tambahan bagi siswa baru yang belum terbiasa dengan metode intensif ini tetap menjadi isu yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teori dan praktik pembelajaran Al-Qur’an, khususnya di lingkungan pendidikan berbasis boarding school, serta memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam merancang metode yang efektif dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman.Kata Kunci: metode pembelajaran Al-Qur’an, pemahaman keberagamaan, talaqqi, tafsir, teknologi, boarding school.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the process of fostering student morals and analyze its impact and factors in shaping student character. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation with teachers and students related to the implementation of the study of Akhlak Lil Banin and secondary data through journals, e-books, and others that support the research. This research analyzes data through steps that include, such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification to ensure the validity of the findings. To validate the data, this research uses triangulation techniques. The results show that the method of moral development through advice, exemplary, habituation, and targhib and tarhib has a positive impact in shaping manners, respect for parents and teachers, and increasing the discipline of worship. School, family, and community environmental factors play a role in the success of this coaching, with student interest and motivation being internal factors that support it. Thus, moral development through the study of Akhlak Lil Banin effectively shapes student character and is relevant to be applied in education to form a generation with noble character

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the process of character development through character-building initiatives, guidance programs, and the diversity of students at SMA Pribadi Bandung Bilingual School, along with the implications for Islamic Education (PAI) instruction within the institution. The main research question addressed in this study is: How are the character building programs, guidance programs, and student diversity implemented at SMA Pribadi Bandung, and how does the Islamic character building model at SMA Pribadi Bandung contribute to the development of a golden generation? The research method employed is qualitative with a best-practice case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis followed the latest Miles and Huberman model, which includes data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The research findings indicate that the character building programs, guidance programs, and student diversity at SMA Pribadi Bandung Bilingual School have been implemented excellently, comprehensively, and thoroughly. These programs are not only designed to shape the character of students but also that of teachers and staff who participate in these programs. The presence of a dedicated committee along with the character building programs significantly impacts the essence of PAI learning, making it more relevant and meaningful for students as it closely relates to their experiences and understanding of Islamic character. This study aims to act as an impetus or a benchmark for other educational institutions to prioritize character-building initiatives within their frameworks. It highlights the understanding that schools function not solely as venues for knowledge dissemination but also as critical environments for character development.

Abstract

Pada periode sebelum tahun 1920, banyak berdiri organisasi organisasi-organisasi kepemudaan di Indonesia, berdirinya organisasi kepemudaan ini diawali oleh Tri Koro Dharmo pada 1915 yang kemudian akan merubah namanya menjadi Jong Java. Pendirian Jong Java akan menginspirasi berdirinya organisasi pemuda di daerah lain seperti Sumatera, Ambon, Minahasa, dan sebagainya. Organisasi kepemudaan pada masa itu masih bersifat kedaerahan, hingga pada 1924 Jong Islamieten Bond dibentuk atas gagasan dari Raden Sjamsoeridjal yang sebelumnya merupakan ketua Jong Java. Jong Islamieten Bond memberikan warna baru dalam pergerakan pemuda Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, Metode ini melibatkan analisis naratif, penelusuran pola, dan interpretasi terhadap data yang diperoleh dari observasi dan bahan tertulis. Penelitian ini ditempuh dengan pengumpulan sumber sejarah yang akan digunakan, kemudian penulis menganalisis data yang terdapat dalam sumber dan mengumpulkan data yang selaras dengan judul penelitian yang penulis angkat, setelah data tersebut dikumpulkan penulis menuangkannya dalam bentuk deskriptif.

Abstract

Seeking knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim, both men and women, including children with special needs, without exception. Children with special needs who have limitations should also learn because the current phenomenon is that there are still many children with special needs who do not get the opportunity to receive education. Therefore, this research aims to see how Islam views the obligation to study for children with special needs. The method used in this research is a qualitative method, which will produce some descriptive data. The data collection technique used is a literature study where the sources obtained come from books, journals, articles, and the al-Quran and Hadith. This research shows that by learning, children with special needs can continue their lives as independent human beings and become servants of Allah who are devout and have noble character.

Abstract

This study examines the Islamic legal perspective on online game transactions through the Steam platform, focusing on aspects of ownership, content, legality, and benefits. The research method uses a qualitative approach based on literature studies that analyze secondary data from various sources. The results of the study show that Muhammadiyah, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), and Persatuan Islam (Persis) have different but complementary views. Muhammadiyah emphasizes the importance of clarity of ownership and understanding of the terms of service, NU prioritizes transparency and moral supervision, while Persis is critical of the potential for losses due to limited property rights. These three organizations agree that transactions must be in accordance with sharia principles, the legality of the platform must comply with Islamic rules, and game content must reflect moral and religious values. In addition, Steam is considered to have positive educational and entertainment benefits if used wisely and supervised. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of the legality of transactions on digital platforms from an Islamic perspective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai perkembangan bank modern di Turki Utsmani antara tahun 1847-1923. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dan teknik penelitian studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima bank yang memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian Turki Utsmani yakni Banque de Constantinople, Ottoman Bank, Banque Imperiale Ottomane (BIO), Bank Ziraat, dan Deutsche Bank. Sejak tahun 1847 hingga 1923, bank-bank di Turki Utsmani memiliki peran yang beragam mulai bank umum, bank sentral, investor fasilitas umum, pembantu pembentukan lembaga pembayaran utang luar negeri (OPDA), bantuan kredit petani dan lain sebagainya. Selain itu melalui perbankan, Turki Utsmani juga memungkinkan untuk negara-negara Eropa lainnya untuk kerja sama perekonomian internasional.

Abstract

This article contains a discussion of the history of the spread of Islam through wayang art that developed in Nusantara. The writing of this article aims to explain the early arrival of Islam to Nusantara, the origin of wayang as a medium for the spread of Islam, to the role of wayang in the spread of Islam. In the preparation of this article, the author uses the literature study method to find and collect various relevant sources. Regarding wayang art, there are various Islamic religious values that can be found from wayang. The use of wayang as a medium for spreading Islam is thought to be inseparable from the initial position of wayang as an artistic performance used to spread religious, philosophical, and ethical teachings to humans. In addition, at that time wayang were also very popular with the public. The role of wayang in the spread of Islam is so important and this cannot be separated from the role of Wali Songo. Among them there are Sunan Giri, Sunan Kalijaga, and Sunan Bonang who preach using modified wayang as their medium. Both in terms of form and wayang stories have been adapted to Islamic teachings. When wayang has been adapted to Islamic teachings, people continue to like the art of wayang performed and can accept Islamic teachings easily. Keywords: Spread of Islam, Wali Songo, Wayang.

Abstract

The Qur'anic Literacy Eradication Training through the LITERAT Learning Model aims to enhance the capacity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in systematically assessing and teaching Qur'anic literacy. The training involved 50 teachers in Bandung Regency and was conducted as an interactive workshop combining theoretical presentations, simulations, and hands-on practice. The LITERAT model—which consists of seven stages: Listening, Identification, Treatment, Explanation, Reading, Assessment, and Testing—equips participants with the ability to categorize students' Qur'anic reading skills into five levels: TPD1, TPD2, TD, TT, and TM. Before the training, most participants could only make general distinctions between "fluent" and "non-fluent" students in reading the Qur'an. After completing the training, participants reported the ability to apply classification indicators in a more measurable and structured manner. Pre-test results showed an average participant score of 61.5, which increased to 83.2 in the post-test. The majority of participants demonstrated improvement in the accuracy of student assessment classifications. Additionally, the majority of participants stated that the training was highly beneficial. The training strengthened participants' understanding of the LITERAT model and improved their pedagogical and evaluative competencies in Qur'anic instruction. This intervention significantly contributes to empowering teachers as objective, data-driven evaluators of religious literacy.
