Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian karakterisasi campuran zeolit alam dan abu boiler kelapa sawit sebagai bahan pengisi termoplastik LDPE. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ukuran kristal, struktur kristal serta kandungan bahan pengisi termoplastik LDPE dengan karakterisasi XRD dan pengaruh pengisi terhadap kekuatan mekanik nanokomposit. Dalam penelitian ini proses pengolahan zeolit alam dan abu boiler kelapa sawit diolah menjadi nanokomposit menggunakan alat Planetary Ballmil PM Retsch, bentuk zeolit alam yang masih bongkahan dihancurkan, kemudian dibalmil selama 1 jam dengan kecepatan 250 rpm, kedua pengisi diayak dengan ukuran 200 mesh. Dilakukan proses pemurnian zeolit alam dengan HCl 2M, untuk abu boiler kelapa sawit NaOH 2,5M dan dikeringkan pada suhu 100 0C selama 2 jam. Selanjutnya dibalmil selama 15 jam dengan kecepatan 400 rpm, kemudian dikarakterisasi dengan XRD. Zeolit alam dan abu boiler kelapa sawit dicampurkan dengan variasi perbandingan berat 30/70, 40/60, 50/50, 60/40, 70/30 dari % berat pengisi untuk mengisi LDPE dengan menggunakan kompatibilizer (PE-g-MA). Setiap variasi dimasukkan kedalam internal mixer agar pencampuran lebih homogen dengan kecepatan 60 rpm pada suhu 150 0C selama 10 menit dengan komposisi LDPE 88 %, bahan pengisi 10% dan PE-g-MA 2% berat. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil analisis XRD ukuran diameter kristal rata-rata zeolit alam sekitar 44,46 nm sedangkan ukuran abu boiler 100,7 nm. Kandungan yang dominan dari zeolit alam SiO2 quartz dan cristobalite dan abu boiler SiO2 dan Al2Si2O5(OH)4. Hasil uji mekanik diperoleh nilai kekuatan tarik meningkat pada variasi 70/30 sebesar 9,16 MPa. Kata kunci: Zeolit alam, Abu Boiler, nanokomposit, XRD dan uji mekanik

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini membuat nanokomposit campuran HDPE dengan kompatibilizer PE-g-MA (2%) berat dan tanpa PE-g-MA dengan bahan pengisi Nanopartikel Fe3O4 (magnetit) yang telah berhasil dipreparasi dengan komposisi (2, 4, 6, 8) % berat. Metode pembuatan nanokomposit menggunakan internal mixer Laboplastomil dengan laju 60 rpm selama 10 menit pada suhu 150o C dengan masing-masing variasi % berat bahan pengisi. Kemudian dilakukan penekan panas (hot press) dan penekan dingin (cold press) untuk pemotongan dengan dumbbell pemotong standar JIS K 6781 dan kemudian  dilakukan uji tarik. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh sifat mekanik dengan nilai terbaik untuk kekuatan tarik yaitu tanpa menggunakan PE-g-MA, sedangkan untuk perpanjangan putus diperoleh nilai terbaik pada komposisi nanokomposit dengan menggunakan PE-g-MA dan Modulus Young’s dengan nilai terbaik tanpa menggunakan PE-g-MA.Kata kunci : Nanopartikel Fe3O4, termoplastik HDPE, sifat mekanik

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pengolahan dan karakterisasi zeolit alam dan abu sekam padi sebagai bahan pengisi termoplastik High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ukuran dan fase-fase yang terkandung didalam pengisi, serta mengetahui pengaruh pengisi terhadap kekuatan mekanik komposit. Metode yang dilakukan dengan cara menggiling zeolit alam dan abu sekam padi menggunakan Ball Mill. Selanjutnya mengaktivasi zeolit alam dengan HCL 2M dan abu sekam padi dengan NaOH 2,5M. Hasil pengolahan ini dikarakterisasi dengan XRD untuk menentukan ukuran serta fase partikel. Zeolit alam dan abu sekam padi dikombinasikan dengan perbandingan persen berat (70/30, 60/40, 50/50, 40/60, 30/70) dari % berat pengisi untuk mengisi HDPE dengan menggunakan kompatibilizer (PE-g-MA). Hasil analisis pengolahan abu sekam padi diperoleh ukuran 53,12 nm dengan fase dominan SiO2 (Cristobalite). Untuk zeolit alam diperoleh ukuran 44,46 nm dengan fase dominan Al2CaO8Si2 (Anorthite). Untuk karakterisasi komposit, diperoleh kekuatan tarik, perpanjangan putus dan modulus elastis terbesar pada kombinasi zeolit alam dan abu sekam padi  60/40 yang mana memperoleh peningkatan signifikan dibanding HDPE murni.   Kata kunci : HDPE, zeolit alam, abu sekam padi, PE-g-MA, analisis XRD, analisis mekanik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat nanokomposit Termoplastik Elastomer (TPE) serta mengetahui sifat mekanik dari nanokomposit TPE. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara nanopartikel abu boiler kelapa sawit (ABKS) dicampur dengan HDPE dan kompon karet dengan variasi komposisi ABKS (0,2,4,6,8) %wt menggunakan alat internal mixer Laboplastomil dengan laju 60 rpm selama 10 menit pada suhu 1300C. Kemudian dilakukan penekan panas (hot press) dan penekan dingin (cold press) untuk pemotongan dengan dumbbel pemotong standar JIS K 6781 dan kemudian dilakukan uji mekanik dengan alat Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Dari hasil analisis diperoleh sifat mekanik pada kekuatan tarik mengalami penurunan dengan bertambahnya nanopartikel ABKS. Dan terjadi peningkatan modulus elastisitas dengan bertambahnya nanopartikel ABKS, demikian juga pada perpanjangan putus.Kata Kunci : ABKS,Termoplastik elastomer, sifat mekanik

Abstract

During the industrial revolution, the quality of education improved, and this was reflected in competent and professional teachers. Teacher professional competence can be achieved by combining personal, scientific, technological, social, and spiritual skills.. This study aims at assessing prospective teachers' professional abilities in developing lesson plans that are integrated with the Project Based Learning and TPACK models in Microteaching course. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study research design by involving 10 prospective elementary school teachers enrolled in sixth semester. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out qualitatively, comprising data reduction, verification, and conclusions. The findings obtained revealed that the professional competence of prospective elementary school teachers was adequate but could be improved. According to the interviews, they were able to develop a scientific mindset in preparing lesson plans with subject mastery based on basic competencies and learning objectives. In fact, four participants were able to develop lesson plans using project-based learning models. In the analysis process, it was also found that these prospective elementary school teachers were able to integrate TPACK, meaning they knew how to link material with the use of technology and were able to teach it in simulation activities carried out in class. However, some of them still struggled to make project-based learning plans, especially in designing projects relevant to teaching materials. Overall, it can be concluded that the professional competence of prospective teacher students was adequate but could be improved, particularly in their capacity to design projects relevant to the material and learning objectives in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is research and development. The ADDIE development model consists of 5 stages, namely: (1) analyze, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. The research was carried out in Min 1 Medan City. The research subjects were 20 class IV students, consisting of 11 female students and 9 male students. The object in the research ispowtoon based animated video. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are analysis of the feasibility of Powtoon based animated videos and analysis of the effectiveness of Powtoon based animation. Based on the results of material validation with a percentage of 91.68% it is categorized as feasible. Meanwhile, the media validation results were 93.49% with a decent percentage.The results of the pretest and posttest trials that were carried out using Powtoon based animated videos showed an increase in student learning outcomes. This is known from The results of the pretest were 17 students who did not complete and 3 students who completed with a percentage of 85%. Meanwhile, the results of the posttest were not as many as 1 student and 19 students who completed it with a percentage of 82%.

Abstract

This research aims to develop e-module based on the Socratic method. This research is research and development. This research uses the ADDIE development model, including analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. This research only reached the implementation stage. The research was carried out inMIS AL Hidayah Sidomulyo.The research subjects were 20 class V students, consisting of 9 male students and 11 female students. The research object is an e-module based on the Socratic method to improve student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are: (a) e-module analysis based on the Socratic method; (b) the effectiveness of e-modules based on the Socratic method. Based on validation results by media experts with a percentage of 94.85%, it is categorized as very feasible. The results of validation by material with a percentage of 94.65% are categorized as very feasible. Meanwhile, validation results by language with a percentage of 89.75% are categorized as very feasible. The results of the pretest trial were with a percentage of 45% with 3 students who completed it and 17 students who did not complete it. Meanwhile, the posttest trial had a percentage of 83.5% with 19 students who completed and 1 student who did not complete.It can be concluded that the e-module based on the Socratic method is feasible and effective to use.

Abstract

Pentingnya pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika sehingga mampu melahirkan siswa yang berpikir kritis, kreatif, produktif, belajar mandiri, bertanggungjawab, bisa bekerjasama, mencari dan memanfaatkan informasi, serta siap menghadapi perubahan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan metode penemuan terbimbing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah disain Pretest-Posttes Control Group Design. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik sebagai berikut: (1) data yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep siswa dikumpulkan dengan melalui tes (pretes dan postes); (2) data yang berkaitan dengan sikap siswa dalam belajar matematika sebagai akibat pembelajaran metode penemuan dikumpulkan melalui angket skala sikap dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data statistik yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Statistik inferensial digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep dan pemecahan masalah siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran matematika dengan metode penemuan terbimbing lebih baik. Siswa yang belajar dengan metode penemuan terbimbing menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, maka pembelajaran matematika dengan metode penemuan terbimbing dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to design e-module based on problem based learning in work and energy materials. This research method uses Research and Development (R&D) with ADDIE model that are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The research population was students in SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Pinem Class X Science. The data instruments used in this research consisted of validation questionnaires for material expert, media expert, teacher, and student responses questionnaires. The effectiveness quality of the e-module is seen from the pretest and posttest results with N-gain of 0.78 in the high category which shows that the class had increase learning outcomes in the high category. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the e-modules based on problem based learning on work and energy materials are valid and effective.

Abstract

 This study aims to knowing the validity, practicality, effectiveness, and optimization of students' understanding of concepts after using e-modules based on contextual on harmonious motion materials. The subjects in this research were students of class X MIA 1 & X MIA 2 in SMA Negeri 10 Medan. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model. The data collection instruments is consisted of validation questionnaires, teacher and students response questionnaires as well as pretests and posttests of concept understanding abilities. The data analysis techniques are quantitative and qualitative. The results of this study gets very valid criteria with an average score of material experts getting 92.96%, and media experts getting 93.40%, learning experts at 96.48%, the teacher's response with 94.79% and 95.02% student response included in the practical criteria, the effectiveness with an n-gain of 0.71 in the high category, and the understanding of students' concepts by the hypothesis of the calculation tcount is 2,364 while the ttable is 1,799, it was stated that Ha was accepted. So it can be concluded that e-modules based on contextual on harmonious motion materials are valid, practical, effective, and can optimize the understanding of student concepts
