Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX MTs Ali Maksum Krapyak Yogyakarta, berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrumen angket untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar dan instrumen tes tertulis berbentuk uraian berjumlah 4 soal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis penelitian survey dan teknik korelasional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial berupa uji normalitas berupa one-sample Shapiro-Wilk dan analisis non-parametrik menggunakan spearman’s rho untuk melakukan analisis korelasi dan mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel motivasi belajar siswa dan variabel kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa dengan banyaknya siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar sedang yaitu 85% dan tinggi yaitu 15%, namun tidak ada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berfikir kritis tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar yang tinggi tidak serta merta meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.. Banyak faktor lain yang lebih berpengaruh, seperti pemahaman konsep pada diri siswa, model pembelajaran dan pendekatan guru, memperbanyak latihan soal serta metode pembelajaran yang digunakan.

Abstract

The low achievement of student’s mathematics learning is a problem that must be considered and resolved. The teacher’s role in improving student achievement is very necessary. One of factors that influence student achievement is the selection of learning models. This study aims to determine an increase in student achievement after the implementation of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research with Pre-Experimental Design typye One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Determination of the sample using saturated sampling technique. Subject of this research is all eighth graders in SMP AL Hikmah Balongrejo. Data collection techniques used are interviews, validation questionnaire, and learning outcomes test. While the research instrument uses learning outcomes test, namely pretest and posttest. Data analysis technique use validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogenity test, and paired sample t-test. Results showed significant level 0,000 > 0,05. It can be concluded that there is a difference in learning achievement (cognitive) between before and after the implementation of CORE learning model. Based on a review of the average student learning outcomes at the pretest and posttest, it was concluded that there was an increase in learning achievement after the implementation of the CORE learning model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan pengelolaan kelas yang berhasil untuk milenial, serta mengetahui strategi guru dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir. Dengan hasil bahwa pengkondisian kelas bagi generasi milenial rata-rata lebih dominan tergantung kepada guru bagaimana memanajemen kelas dan mengkondisikan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research: systematic literature review. Dari beberapa penelitian yang berhasil di review masalah utama terletak dalam mempersiapkan, memperagakan, dan mengelola hasil dalam proses maupun hasil akhir untuk evaluasi dirinya ketika mengajar. Namun yang perlu digaris bawahi juga adalah guru harus memahami model belajar problem based learning, karena generasi millenial yang sangat kritis, dan menyukai debat maka dengan strategi diskusi, presentasi, debat kelompok di kelas efektif dalam menggugah minat belajarnya.

Abstract

Abstract:Student worksheets are one of the printed teaching materials in the form of sheets containing tasks that must be done by students to support the achievement of success in learning activities. This research is research on developing contextual-based student worksheets to facilitate the critical thinking ability of Madrasah Tsanawiyah students on statistical material. The 4-D development model, define, design, develop, and disseminate is used in this study. Four experts, namely as media experts and at the same time as material experts, became validators of the developed student worksheets. The formula used to calculate the validity coefficient is the Aiken Value Formula. The quality of the developed student worksheets was declared valid by the expert validators related to the material with the average value of each aspect of 0.98. Meanwhile, expert validators related to media stated that they were valid with an average value of 0.97.Abstrak:Lembar kerja peserta didik merupakan salah satu bahan ajar cetak yang berisi tugas-tugas yang harus dikerjakan oleh peserta didik untuk mendukung tercapainya keberhasilan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis kontekstual untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik Madrasah Tsanawiyah pada materi statistika. Model pengembangan 4-D, define, design, develop, dan disseminate digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Empat orang ahli yaitu sebagai ahli media dan sekaligus juga sebagai ahli materi menjadi validator lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan. Formula yang digunakan untuk menghitung koefisien validitas adalah Formula Nilai Aiken. Kualitas lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid oleh validator ahli terkait materi dengan rata-rata nilai setiap aspek adalah 0,98. Sementara itu, validator ahli terkait media menyatakan valid dengan rata-rata nilai adalah 0,97.

Abstract

Parents complain that the online learning method using gadgets as a means of learning for children is difficult to understand and use. The purpose of the study is to describe information about parents' perceptions of the use of gadgets as a means of learning for early childhood in the city of Palembang. The research method uses quantitative research methods with a survey approach, which is addressed to parents by providing a statement using a google form questionnaire instrument. The research population is all parents who have chilhood early in the city of Palembang. While the research sample selected using a purposive sampling technique was 50 parents with the criteria of parents sending their children to PAUD Palembang City and carrying out partly face-to-face learning and partly online learning. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that 38% of parents were able to use and teach their children while studying at home using the WhatsApp and Google Classroom applications, 26% of parents were able to use and teach their children while studying at home using the YouTube, Google and Social Media applications, 20% respondents who can use and teach their children when studying at home with educational game applications in gadgets, and 16% of parents who can use and teach their children while studying at home with zoom and google meet applications. Basically, parents can use gadgets as a means of learning for their children, but in certain applications such as zoom and google meet, parents still have difficulty using the application and when parents help their children learn online. So that parents prefer and easily use applications such as whatsapp and google classroom for children's online learning media at home.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the level of fine motor skills at the age of five to six years. The population in this study were students in group B with a total of 55 students, group B1 with 28 students, and B2 with 22 students. The research design used a survey method. The data collection technique was carried out by testing the flexibility of hand movements and tests of eye and hand coordination. The results of the research show the percentages which include very well developed (BSB) 5%, category developing according to expectations (BSH) 20%, category starting to develop (MB) 40%, and category not yet developed (BB) 25%. Fine motor skills in group B1 with the percentage of BSB 4.35%, BSH 26.09%, MB 34.78%, and BB 26.09%. While the B2 group with a percentage of BSB 9.68%, BSH 25.81%, MB 32.26%, and BB 25.81. For this reason, the conclusions from the results of research at Pertiwi Kindergarten 26-13 Bogares Kidul in both groups to improve fine motor skills using the calligraphy method are said to be starting to develop.

Abstract

Kemampuan kognitif anak merupakan salah satu aspek perkembangan yang perlu diberikan stimulasi oleh guru dengan menggunakan kreativitasnya selama pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kreativitas guru terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Azzahra Way Jepara Lampung Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok kelas sejumlah 15 anak usia 5-6 tahun dan guru usia 5-6 tahun. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan tes kemampuan kognitif anak dari hasil kreativitas guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas data menggunakan Kolmogorov smirnov dan Uji prasyarat menggunakan paired sample T-test melalui aplikasi SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh kreativitas guru terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak. Hasil uji hipotesis analisis paired sample T-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,0010,005, maka hipotesis diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh kreativitas guru terhadap kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Azzahra.

Abstract

Based on ministry of health strategic planning in 2015-2019, there were 80 % mothers who brought their toddlers to integrated health post in 2019. In 2020, just 55%, at Sambau Public Health Centre, there were 20,3% mothers who brought their toddlers to weigh body weight and immunizations because in March Covid-19 began to spread in Batam. The research purpose was to find out the relationship of maternal knowledge and the role of cadres against the mother’s participation in the activities of integrated health post for toddles in covid-19 pandemic. It was quantitative research. The population was toddlers’ mother at Sambau Public Health Centre. It was conducted in October 2020 – February 2021. Data collected by using questionnaire via google form link to implement large-scale restrictions inCovid-19 pandemic. The research result showed that active cadres were 17,2%, mothers’ participation in the activities of integrated health post were 85%. Based on chi-square test, p value (0,034) < α (0,05). It can be concluded that there was a relationship of maternal knowledge and mother’s participation in the activities of integrated health post for toddles in Covid-19 pandemic and there was no relationship of cadres’ role in the activities of integrated health post for toddles in covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, public health centre can improve activities of integrated health post in facing Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Problem-based learning in the context of mathematics learning is a math learning strategies in the classroom with activities solve mathematical problems so that students can construct mathematical knowledge by himself. In connection with the efforts to achieve the learning objectives of mathematics through problem-based learning, of course, requires students to use the potential optimally. Meanwhile, to create mathematical learning process with the use of students' potential optimally, then the emotional intelligence of the students need to be a concern. Emotional considerations in mathematics learning in particular may be a bit much help in receiving math, in the middle of contention that still believed by most students, that math is a difficult subject. Thus, the presence of emotional intelligence can be seen as aspects to consider, it can even be used as the basis for follow-problem-based learning process well so that the achievement of mathematics learning in their entirety.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the increase in students' ability to think creatively in advocacy learning by using open-ended problems. This type of research is an experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study were 72 students taken using random sampling techniques. The variables in this study are learning models, mathematical creative thinking abilities, and general mathematics abilities. The instruments used in this study were creative thinking tests and general mathematics tests. Data analysis techniques used in this study are statistical inference using the Mann-Whitney test and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that students who were treated with an advocacy approach by presenting open-ended problems improved their mathematical creative thinking abilities better when compared with conventional learning.
