Abstract

This research aims to produce an independent curriculum e-module based on project-based learning with character in parallelogram materials that can achieve a level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE development model. The instruments used to collect data are expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and post tests. Based on the results of the first study, material validation and media validation with an overall average score of 91.92% with very valid criteria. Second, the practicality value is seen from the teacher response questionnaire and the student response questionnaire with an overall average score of 89.58% which shows very practical criteria. As for the third, the effectiveness of the media developed was obtained from the results of the student's post test. For the results of class completeness (%)≥70, a score of 65.39% was obtained so that the level of effectiveness of the e-module was effective.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the comparison of the Discovery Learning model with Problem Based Learning on the learning outcomes assisted by LKPD in the Merdeka Curriculum with Algebra Form Material. This research was carried out on September 24 2024 at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. This design involved 2 classes studied, namely the Discovery Learning learning model applied in the experimental class, namely class VII E, and the Problem Based Learning learning model applied in the control class, namely class VII C. The population in this study was class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap in the academic year. 2023/2024, totaling 182 students. In this research, the method used was a quantitative experimental method, with a quasi-experimental research design, post test only control group design. Based on the research conducted, the average score for the experimental class was 73.97 and the control class was 70.58. Based on calculations that Z_count=-0.0034 and Z_table=1.96. Because Z_count< Z_table, namely -0.0034<1.69, then H_0 is accepted, which means H_1 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is no difference in student learning outcomes taught using the Discovery Learning learning model and the Problem Based Learning learning model in algebra form material in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of the PBL and STAD models with a differentiated approach in the independent curriculum to the mathematical comprehension ability of high school students. The type of research used is an experimental method with a quantitative approach and a form of quasi-experimental design research, while the research used is a post test only control design. The population in this study is all students of grade XII of SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap which consists of 2 classes, namely class A and class B. The sampling technique used in this study is the Saturated Sampling technique, where all populations in this study are used as samples. The sample in this study is class A as a control class and class B as an experimental class. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is no difference between the PBL and STAD learning models with the differentiated approach of grade XII students of SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Kakap

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis powtoon terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi SPLDV kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Kayan Hulu. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (R&D) model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahapan define, design, development, dan dissemination. Namun, penelitian ini hanya menerapkan tahapan define, design, dan development tanpa melanjutkan ke tahap dissemination. Subjek pengembangan produk pada penelitian ini adalah validator ahli media yaitu satu orang dosen pendidikan teknologi dan informasi, satu orang dosen pendidikan matematika dan satu orang guru mata pelajaran matematika, ahli materi yaitu dua orang dosen pendidikan matematikan dan satu orang guru mata pelajaran matematika, serta subjek uji coba produk adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 5 Kayan Hulu dengan 25 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dengan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi dan angket respon, serta teknik pengukuran berupa tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh maka kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah video pembelajaaran yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi diperoleh kevalidan dengan persentase sebesar 87,89% dengan kriteria sangat valid; kepraktisan diperoleh dari angket repson guru dan respon siswa dengan persentase sebesar 92,89% dengan kriteria sangat praktis; dan keefektifan diukur dari hasil tes siswa memperoleh persentase 68% efektif

Abstract

This study aims to produce H5P-based instructional media incorporating heuristic strategies that achieve validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities on algebraic expressions in Grade VII at SMPN 10 Sungai Kakap. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research subjects consisted of 23 seventh-grade students. The instruments used in this study included expert validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and a post-test. The results showed that the validity level of the instructional media, based on expert assessments, obtained an average percentage of 86.67%, categorized as very valid. The practicality level, based on teacher and student response questionnaires, obtained an average percentage of 91.25%, categorized as very practical. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the media based on students’ post-test results showed a classical completeness rate of 85.71%, categorized as effective. Thus, the H5P-based instructional media with heuristic strategies is declared feasible and effective for use in the mathematics learning process.

Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini terletak pada rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Sedangkan pemecahan masalah matematika merupakan bagian terpenting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Untuk memahami matematika dasar diperlukan suatu kemampuan memecahkan masalah dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pembelajaran matematika itu sendiri. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka diperlukan alur peta pikir guru dalam menstruktur kemampuan pemecahan masalahnya sehingga dapat tersampaikan dengan baik kepada siswanya sendiri. Berdasarkan sifat peta pikir yang menunjukkan grafik hubungan antara materi dan jika ada materi prasyarat, sistem pembelajaran berbasis komputer (prototipe) yang dirancang diharapkan mampu menjadi adaptif dan mengarahkan pembelajaran matematika dasar sesuai dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah setiap siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) mengetahui pengembangan rancangan prototype sistem pembelajaran matematika dasar berbasis mind mapping kemampuan pemecahan masalah guru kelas sekolah dasar, 2) mengetahui karakteristik karakteristik mind mapping kemampuan pemecahan masalah guru kelas sekolah dasar dalam penerapannya di pembelajaran matematika dasar. Metode dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan rancangan model 4D Thiagarajan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) setelah melihat hasil nilai kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan, Prototype Sistem Pembelajaran Matematika Dasar Berbasis Mind Mapping Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah yang dikembangkan sudah layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di kelas; 2) karakteristik mind mapping kemampuan pemecahan masalah guru kelas sekolah dasar dalam penerapannya di pembelajaran matematika dasar sudah sesuai dengan mind mapping kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sekolah dasar dimana ditunjukkan dengan hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berada pada kategori 80,39% siswa tuntas secara klasikal dari keseluruhan 51 siswa yang mengerjakan soal posttest.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how students' mathematical problem-solving ability is based on self-confidence in the material of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System. This study uses a qualitative method in the form of case study research. The subjects of this study are 2 students who have low, medium, and high self-confidence. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The data collection techniques in this study use measurement techniques, direct communication techniques, and indirect communication techniques. Data analysis techniques by describing the results of student answers and categorizing the level of student self-confidence. The average results of the self-confidence group were high with mathematical problem-solving skills in questions 1, 3 and 5 with an average of 8.5, problem number 2 with an average of 6.5, number 4 with an average of 7, and an average total score of 39 with an average score of 70.91. The average results of the self-confidence group were moderate with mathematical problem-solving skills in question number 1 with an average of 10, questions number 2 and 3 with an average of 8.5, number 4 with an average of 9, number 5 with an average of 5.5, and an average total score of 41.5 with an average score of 75.45. The average result of the self-confidence group was low with mathematical problem-solving skills in question number 1 with an average of 7, question number 2, question number 3, question number 4, question number 5 with a total score of 27 with a score of 49.09

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of learning and student responses to animated film learning media on mathematical representation skills. The method used is development research with the ADDIE model (Analysis-Design-Development-Implement-Evaluate). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu with research subjects being 26 students in grade VIII. The instruments used were validation sheets, response questionnaires, and representative ability tests. Data analysis in this study was validity, effectiveness, and practicality. Based on the results of the study, the validity of the media and materials reached an average of 82.97% with very valid criteria, practicality reached an average of 81.80%, and effectiveness reached 76.92%. From the results of the study, it was concluded that animation-based learning media is feasible to be developed and has met the criteria for validity, practicality, and effectiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how to produce an Android-based character calculator application on the ability to understand concepts in arithmetic sequences and series material for high school students that reaches the level of validity, practicality and. The method used in this research is the Research & Development method with the Borg and Gall model research design which consists of 7 stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision. The subjects in this research were 31 students in class XI Science at SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. This research uses indirect communication techniques and measurements with data collection tools in the form of validation sheets, questionnaires and test questions. The first research result, namely the validity, obtained from the material and media expert validation value of 89.77% with very valid criteria, the second, namely the practicality obtained from teacher and student questionnaires with a percentage of 96.64% with very valid criteria, while the practicality value was obtained from The posttest score is 83.87% of the KKM score of 76 so it is included in the very effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that the Android-based character calculator application media for the ability to understand concepts in arithmetic sequences and series material for high school students is classified as effective to use.

Abstract

This research is represented through digital teaching with online learning simulations used by SMK teachers in learning mathematical logic that has not improved students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This study aims to describe the feasibility, attractiveness, and effectiveness of the PhET simulation-based mathematical logic e-module in improving students' mathematical reasoning abilities. This research method is the R and D. The research subjects were students of SMK Koperasi Pontianak majoring in Multimedia. Research data were collected using indirect communication techniques and measurements with data collection tools in the form of expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and test questions. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the e-module of mathematical logic with PhET simulation at the valid criterion, very interesting and effective. The results of this study can be implemented in the process of learning mathematical logic digitally through PhET simulation learning to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities.Penelitian ini direpresentasikan melalui bahan ajar digital dengan simulasi pembelajaran online yang digunakan oleh guru SMK dalam pembelajaran logika matematika belum meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan, kemenarikan dan keefektifan dari e-modul logika matematika berbasis PhET simulation dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode R and D. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMK Koperasi Pontianak tepatnya jurusan Multimedia. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dan pengukuran dengan alat pengumpul data berupa lembar validasi ahli, angket respon siswa dan guru serta soal tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul logika matematika dengan PhET simulation pada tingkat kriteria valid, sangat menarik dan efektif untuk menyelesaikan kesulitan pada siswa khususnya pada materi logika matematika. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diimplementasikan pada proses pembelajaran logika matematika secara digital serta melalui simulasi pembelajaran PhET simulation untuk lebih meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa.
