Abstract

This study seeks to explore the key factors that influence the likelihood of domestic tourists revisiting Banjar Hot Springs in Buleleng Regency. The primary variables under examination include service quality and destination image, with tourist satisfaction serving as a mediating factor and trust functioning as a moderating variable. Data was collected from 200 domestic respondents, and analysis was performed using Smart-PLS 3. The findings reveal that while service quality significantly influences satisfaction, it has a negative effect on revisit intention. Destination image is found to have a substantial impact on both satisfaction and revisit intention. Furthermore, tourist satisfaction positively influences revisit intention. Satisfaction also plays a key mediating role, enhancing the relationship between both service quality and destination image with revisit intention. Trust emerges as a pure moderator in the link between satisfaction and revisit intention, indicating its important role in strengthening the relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) examine the implementation of the audiovisual-based Group Investigation learning model in Geography subjects, and (2) analyze the effects of the audiovisual-based Group Investigation model on students' learning outcomes in Geography at SMA Negeri 5 Denpasar. This research employs a quasi-experimental method with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The study involves two classes: (1) Class X.2 (experimental class) which received the audiovisual-based Group Investigation learning model, and (2) Class X.1 (control class) which used the conventional learning model. Data were collected using observation instruments and students' learning outcome tests, and were analyzed using Liliefors, Levene's, and t-tests. The results of the study indicate that:(1) The implementation of the audiovisual-based Group Investigation learning model significantly improved students' learning outcomes, as evidenced by the comparison of results between the control and experimental classes,(2) The audiovisual-based Group Investigation model implemented by teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Denpasar proved to have a significant impact on students' learning outcomes. The experimental class showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes compared to the control class. The findings of this study demonstrate a significant enhancement in the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class. Therefore, the audiovisual-based Group Investigation learning model is effective in improving students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the application of the outdoor study method containing local wisdom assisted by the quizizz media in geography learning and (2) the effect of the outdoor study method containing local wisdom assisted by the Quizizz media on students' learning interest. This study employs a quasi-experimental design featuring a non-equivalent control group.  The sample for the class was randomly selected among equivalent class pairs, designating class X1 as the experimental group and class X6 as the control group.  Data was gathered by observation, testing, and documentation procedures, followed by analysis utilizing quantitative descriptive approaches and inferential analysis via the t-test.  The research results indicated that: (1) The average value of the application of the outdoor study method assisted by the quizizz media containing local wisdom in the experimental class was 96.87 and in the control class was 90.62 and (2) Based on the data tested, it resulted in the Sig value, (2-tailed) of the results of students' learning interest getting results of 0.003 <0.05. The research findings indicate that the outdoor study technique, facilitated by Quizizz media, serves as a more dynamic resource for high school geography educators to enhance student engagement in learning.

Abstract

The concept of ecotourism presents a suitable approach to tourism management in Bali, given its abundant natural attractions. One such attraction is the Banjar Bhuana Sari Waterfall in Wanagiri Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. This study aims to identify and analyze the potential of this natural site for ecotourism development by examining three key aspects: (1) the tourism potential of the site, (2) the level of community participation, and (3) the contribution of tourism to the local area. Data was collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature review. The data were then analyzed using a rating or scoring system to classify each indicator. The findings reveal that Banjar Bhuana Sari Waterfall possesses substantial potential for ecotourism development. High levels of community participation play a significant role in maintaining the site’s sustainability. However, while the natural environment is generally well-preserved, further improvement is needed regarding tourism facilities and infrastructure. Additionally, the economic and social contributions of tourism to the local community, although present, require enhancement to ensure a more impactful and sustainable tourism model. Overall, the research highlights the importance of strengthening both environmental management and tourism benefits to support the long-term development of ecotourism at Banjar Bhuana Sari Waterfall.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas rendahnya hasil belajar geografi siswa yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran dan belum optimalnya penerapan gaya belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa SMA Negeri 3 Singaraja berdasarkan gaya belajar mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media Quizizz meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan, terutama dalam mengakomodasi berbagai gaya belajar. Quizizz mampu mengakomodasi berbagai gaya belajar siswa melalui fitur-fitur yang sesuai dengan karakteristik masing-masing gaya belajar, seperti gaya belajar visual yang terakomodasi melalui tampilan menarik dan pemanfaatan fitur pilihan ganda, isian singkat, serta essai; gaya belajar kinestetik yang didukung dengan fitur jawaban menggambar atau penggunaan mode kertas saat menjawab kuis; serta gaya belajar auditori yang difasilitasi melalui fitur audio dan video untuk menyampaikan soal maupun jawaban. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media Quizizz mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi siswa secara signifikan dibandingkan yang tanpa menggunakan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan saran bagi guru, sekolah, dan pengembang media untuk mendukung penggunaan media interaktif dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap minat belajar dan kompetensi pengetahuan Geografi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Busungbiu. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dan minimnya partisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran Geografi akibat dominasi metode ceramah yang monoton. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental design) dengan melibatkan dua kelas, yakni kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model TGT dan kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup observasi, tes, angket, dan wawancara, dengan analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TGT memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat belajar dan kompetensi pengetahuan siswa. Elemen permainan edukatif dan kerja sama tim dalam model TGT mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan kompetitif secara sehat. Secara simultan, model ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan aspek kognitif dan afektif siswa, serta direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran inovatif di mata pelajaran Geografi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of interactive learning media based on Quantum Learning using the Quizizz application in Geography lessons for grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. This research is of the R&D type, adapting the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research are one Geography teacher and 34 students from class XI-4 at SMA Negeri 1 Seririt. Research data was collected through expert validation, teacher and student responses, pretest, and posttest. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods. The research results are as follows: (1) the validity of the media has an average score of 81.23 (very suitable), (2) the practicality of the media has an average score of 91.65 (very practical), and (3) the effectiveness of the media shows a high average N-Gain score of 0.74 (73.75%). Therefore, the interactive learning media based on Quantum Learning assisted by the Quizizz application is deemed valid, practical, and effective as a learning tool for Geography that supports the improvement of concept understanding among Grade XI-4 students.

Abstract

Kabupaten Buleleng, sebagai destinasi wisata bahari yang terletak di pesisir utara Pulau Bali, memiliki potensi besar untuk menarik minat wisatawan dengan keindahan pesisirannya yang memukau dan beragam aktivitas laut yang ditawarkannya. Namun, untuk meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan, penting untuk memperbaiki citra destinasi melalui pengembangan produk wisata yang menarik, pelayanan berkualitas, promosi efektif, dan pelestarian lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini mengeksplorasi kondisi, potensi, tantangan, dan peluang ekowisata bahari di Kabupaten Buleleng melalui tinjauan literatur dan penelitian sebelumnya. Ekowisata bahari merupakan bentuk pariwisata yang bertujuan untuk melestarikan sumber daya alam dan budaya secara berkelanjutan, dengan fokus pada konservasi lingkungan, pendidikan, manfaat bagi masyarakat lokal, dan pemeliharaan budaya. Berbagai destinasi wisata bahari di Buleleng, seperti konservasi terumbu karang, pantai pasir putih, penangkaran penyu, watching dolphin, air sanih, dan budidaya mutiara, menunjukkan upaya konkret dalam mengimplementasikan prinsip-prinsip ekowisata. Strategi untuk meningkatkan citra destinasi Buleleng sebagai ekowisata bahari meliputi pengembangan produk wisata, kualitas layanan, promosi, kerjasama dengan pihak terkait, dan pelestarian lingkungan. Dengan demikian, pelestarian bahari dan pesisir di Buleleng bukan hanya memberikan manfaat ekonomi, tetapi juga membangun citra positif destinasi yang berkelanjutan untuk menarik wisatawan yang peduli terhadap lingkungan
