Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad 21 (4C) dan kemampuan High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Oleh karena itu, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis sangat penting dikuasai siswa. Sedangkan, berdasarkan laporan TIMSS tahun 2015 dan 2013 ditemukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Indonesia masih rendah didukung data UNBK 2019 dan beberapa penelitian. Padahal, upaya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis gencar dilakukan pemerintah melalui pengembangan Kurikulum. Artikel ini berupa hasil penelitian dengan tujuan menganalisis ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa ditinjau dari sisi afektif Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif-komparatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 105 orang siswa kelas XI salah satu SMAN di Yogyakarta. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes, sedangkan data SRL diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang signifikan antara siswa dengan kategori SRL rendah, sedang, dan tinggi; 2) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang signifikan ditinjau dari dimensi SRL, yaitu motivation; time management; self-testing; dan using academic resources. Penelitian ini merupakan dasar acuan untuk mengungkap keterkaitan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan kemampuan SRL siswa.Critical thinking skills is one of the skills in the 21st century (4C) also one of the High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) abilities. Thus, students need to master mathematical critical thinking skills. However, based on TIMSS reports in 2015 and 2013 supported by the data from UNBK 2019 and several studies, it was found that Indonesian students' critical thinking skills are still low. The efforts in improving critical thinking skills have been done intensively by the government through the development of the Curriculum. This article is a research result that aims to analyze whether there are differences in students' mathematical critical thinking skills reviewed from affective side of  Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive method. The sample of this study were 105 eleventh grade students in one public high school in Yogyakarta. The results showed: 1) there is a significant difference in mathematical critical thinking skills between students with low, medium, and high SRL categories. 2) there is a significant difference in students' mathematical critical thinking skills reviewed from the SRL dimension, which are motivation; time management; self-testing; and using academic resources. Penelitian merupakan dasar acuan untuk mengungkap keterkaitan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan kemampuan SRL siswa.

Abstract

Study of meta-analysis by selecting the random effect model was employed to investigate and examine students’ education level predicted as one of the causative factors of the heterogeneity of mathematical critical thinking ability (MCTA) through problem-based learning (PBL). Search engines such as Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar were used to find thirty journal or proceeding articles published in 2011 – 2021 and indexed by Scopus, Sinta, and Web of Science. The Z and Q Cochrane test were used to analyze the data. The results revealed that education level was one of the significant factors causing the heterogeneity of students’ MCTA through PBL. Therefore, mathematics teachers or lecturers should minimize the gap by improving the learning quality through PBL in education level in which students’ MCTA was still low.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis data kemampuan menghafal Alquran yang datanya diperoleh dari hasil ujian tahfizh menggunakan sebuah instrumen tes, dan digunakan model regresi terpotong. Dilihat dari pembatasan nilai pada variabel dependennya dan variabel independennya hanya akan diobservasi jika variabel dependennya diobservasi, analisis yang digunakan adalah distribusi normal terpotong atas bawah. Model regresi untuk data ini, nilai-nilai variabel dependennya berupa q Yi r dimana data yang diobservasi berada diantara titik q yang merupakan batas bawah yaitu nilai 44 dan titik r merupakan batas atas yaitu nilai 96 dari data dependen yang diobservasi.  Metode yang digunakan untuk menaksir parameter dalam model adalah metode kemungkinan maksimum dengan menggunakan bantuan iteratif Newton Raphson. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menentukan model regresi linear dan model regresi untuk data terpotong atas bawah, kemudian uji asumsi normalitas serta uji koefisien secara parsial model regresi untuk data berdistribusi normal terpotong atas bawah. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu model regresi yang menggambarkan hubungan antara nilai ujian tahfizh, nilai tahsin, dan nilai akhir.

Abstract

Metode yang digunakan untuk perencanaan produksi dan pengendalian persediaan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kombinasi metode Material Requirement Planning dan Mixed Integer Linear Programing untuk bahan yang diproduksi. Sedangkan, untuk bahan baku menggunakan metode MRP dengan lotsizing Algoritma Wagner Within. Selain itu pada penelitian ini dilakukan juga proses peramalan data permintaan dengan metode exponential smoothing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah supaya dicapai sistem serta jadwal produksi dan persediaan tepat waktu, jumlah, dan harga. Untuk mengefektifkan waktu, dilakukan konstruksi program aplikasi peramalan serta perencanan produksi dan pengendalian persediaan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman R. Hasil konstruksi program aplikasi peramalan serta perencanaan produksi dan pengendalian persediaan berupa web.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the problem of student’s critical thinking skill. The purpose of this study are: 1) to investigate whether students who undertake mathematics learning with Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) approach have higher improvement in critical thinking skill compared to those who undertake learning with conventional; 2) to investigate students’ mathematical disposition towards mathematics learning under Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) approach. This study used quasi-experimental methods, while the population were all students of 8th grade of SMP Negeri 2 Cimahi, Academic Year 2012/2013. The test and non-test instruments were deployed in this study. The kind of test instruments used in this research was essay based on indicator of critical thinking skill and non-test instruments were in the forms of questionnaire, observation sheet, and students’ daily jounal. The results of this study show that: 1) students who undertake mathematics learning with Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) approach have higher improvement in critical thinking skill compared to those who undertake mathematics learning with conventional approach; 2) students’ enhancement on mathematical disposition towards mathematics learning under Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) approach is relatively good.Keyword: Critical thinking skill, Model-Eliciting Activities (MEAs) approach, mathematical disposition.

Abstract

The progress or decline of a company is influenced by the productivity of the workers. The pension program is one of the programs that can guarantee the welfare of employees. This study aims to implement the Cox Ingersoll Ross (CIR) model in approximating interest rates and using them to determine normal pension contributions. In order to be able to describe the actual situation, namely the interest rate which is the basis for determining pension contributions is fluctuating, the CIR model was chosen. The method used in actuarial calculations in this study is the Projected Unit Credit method. Based on the calculations, the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value is 6.45%. This suggests that the pattern of forecasted interest rates and market rates move in much the same way. In addition, the results show that the calculation of normal contributions using the CIR model tends to be larger than using a constant interest rate. The forecast results can help reduce risks in the future.Keywords: Cox Ingersoll Ross (CIR), Normal Cost, Pension, Projected Unit Credit (PUC). AbstrakKemajuan atau kemunduran dari perusahaan dipengaruhi oleh produktivitas para pekerja. Program pensiun merupakan salah satu program yang dapat menjamin kesejahteraan pegawai. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan model Cox Ingersoll Ross (CIR) dalam mengaproksimasi tingkat suku bunga dan menggunakannya dalam menentukan iuran normal pensiun. Supaya dapat menggambarkan keadaan yang sebenarnya, yaitu tingkat suku bunga yang menjadi dasar penentuan iuran pensiun bersifat fluktuatif maka dipilih model CIR. Metode yang digunakan dalam perhitungan aktuaria adalah metode Projected Unit Credit (PUC). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh nilai Mean Absolut Percentage Error (MAPE) 6,45%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pola perkiraan suku bunga dan suku bunga pasar bergerak dengan cara yang hampir sama. Berdasarkan metode PUC, perhitungan iuran normal dengan model CIR cenderung lebih besar dibandingkan dengan menggunakan tingkat bunga konstan. Hasil perkiraan tersebut dapat membantu mengurangi risiko di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

The ability that students must have is the ability of mathematical representation. This research aims to determine if eighth-grade students at Al-Qona'ah Islamic Junior High School improve their mathematical representation skills after using the Edpuzzle application to learn how to construct polyhedrons. It was a quantitative research design using the Quasi Experiment research method with control and experimental classes. This research's population comprised 60 students (23 males and 37 females). After conducting research, it was determined that students' mathematical representation abilities did not improve with the aid of the Edpuzzle application on the polyhedron due to the need for more learning support facilities when utilizing the Edpuzzle application. This research is supported by the t-test, which yielded t-count < t-table or -29.2936 < -1.67155 so that H0 is accepted. The results of the n-gain calculation yielded a total n-gain score of 0.03, or the n-gain was low, indicating was no progress in learning using the Edpuzzle application on the polyhedron. This study did not have an impact on increasing students' mathematical representation.

Abstract

Interactive media is something that is important to be developed in order to improve students' mathematical understanding abilities. One of the learning media used is scratch. Scratch-assisted learning media on rank numbers material is made to make it easier for students to understand concepts and to increase student interest in learning, by studying it is expected to be able to give birth to creative students in making learning media based on scratch animation. The research design used in this research is the research design of 4D model development (Four D Models). This includes 4 stages, namely the definition, design, development and dissemination stages, which the researcher then simplifies by changing from four stages (4D) to three stages (3D), namely: defining, designing and developing.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many mistakes made by students in solving problem-solving questions. The purpose of this research was conducted to see the causes of student errors in solving problem-solving questions based on kastolan error analysis theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The instrumented object in this study involved 4 students of class XI MIA 5. The sample selection technique uses purposive sampling. The instruments used in this study were tests and interviews.The test results were obtained from a problem-solving ability test through creative problem-solving learning on linear programming material. Based on the results of the many errors found in the indicator, presenting mathematical situations in various ways and knowing the differences, and developing the concepts that have been studied. The types of errors that students have made in answering the problem included conceptual error, procedural error, and technical error

Abstract

This study is about analysis by creating a Nelson-Aalen curve and determining differences in the curve between categories of each risk factor for Type II Diabetes Mellitus. The analysis method used is the Nelson-Aalen method which is used to create a curve by calculating the cumulative hazard value first and then followed by calculating survival odds, and the Weighted Log Rank Test is used to determine the difference in the curve. The data used was the medical record data of inpatients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus at the Sayang Public Hospital of Cianjur Regency. The result obtained is that the Nelson-Aalen curve shows decreased characteristics, namely the longer the patient is treated, the patient's chances of recovery will be smaller. In other words, the patient's chances of returning home in a state of recovery will be even greater. Furthermore, the test results showed that there was no difference in the case of survival in the factors of age, hypertension, current blood sugar levels, and diabetic legs, while gender factors and balanced diet patterns showed a difference in the chance of survival, which means that both factors affect the chances of survival of Type II Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Sayang Public Hospital of Cianjur Regency.Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Nelson-Aalen, Survival Analysis, Weighted Log Rank Test. AbstrakPada penelitian ini disajikan analisa ketahanan hidup dengan membuat kurva Nelson-Aalen dan menentukan perbedaan kurva antar kategori dari setiap faktor risiko Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode Nelson-Aalen yang digunakan untuk membuat kurva ketahanan hidup dengan menghitung nilai hazard kumulatif terlebih dahulu lalu dilanjutkan dengan menghitung peluang ketahanan hidup. Weighted Log Rank Test digunakan untuk menentukan perbedaan kurva. Data yang digunakan adalah data rekam medis pasien rawat inap penderita Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II di RSUD Sayang Cianjur. Diperoleh hasil bahwa kurva Nelson-Aalen menunjukkan karakteristik yang menurun, yaitu semakin lama pasien dirawat maka peluang pasien untuk belum mengalami kesembuhan akan semakin kecil. Dengan kata lain, peluang pasien untuk pulang dalam keadaan telah mengalami kesembuhan akan semakin besar. Selanjutnya, hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan peluang ketahanan hidup pada faktor usia, hipertensi, kadar gula darah sewaktu, dan kaki diabetik, sedangkan faktor jenis kelamin dan pola diet seimbang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan peluang ketahanan hidup, yang artinya kedua faktor tersebut memengaruhi peluang ketahanan hidup pasien Diabetes Mellitus Tipe II di RSUD Sayang Kabupaten Cianjur.
