Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tentang tindakan pencegahan kerusakan pada koleksi manuskrip yang dimiliki Musium Sri Baduga. Pendokumentasian dengan upaya untuk melestarikan nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam manuskrip. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskpriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui 3 metode yaitu studi pustaka, interview dan observasi. Pengamatan yang akan dilakukan selain pemahaman dalam konteks budaya juga melihat pada aspek teknis yaitu penyimpanan dengan suhu dan kelembaban udara yang tepat, pelaksanaan perawatan yang sesuai dengan budaya yang dianut, maka keberadaan manuskrip dapat dipertahankan dan dihindarkan dari kerusakan. Selain itu tindakan alih bentuk ke media digital juga dilakukan untuk menghindarkan kerusakan fisik koleksi manuskrip, walaupun isi manuskrip tetap dapat dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai keperluan. Nilai guna manuskrip dari pendokumentasian ini tidak hanya bersifat informatif, historis dan edukatif, tetapi lebih banyak bernuansa budaya karena memang tujuan dari pendokumentasian ini lebih banyak diarahkan untuk tujuan pengembangan budaya dalam hal pengenalan masyarakat terhadap pemahaman nilai guna manuskrip sebagai aset dan warisan yang tidak ternilai. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan informan sebanyak sepuluh orang yang bekerja di museum, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa penyimpanan dengan suhu dan kelembaban udara yang tepat serta fumigasi yang teratur, maka keberadaan manuskrip dapat dipertahankan dan dihindarkan dari kerusakan. Abstract

This study examines the Kaulinan Budak Lembur (Sundanesse village children traditional games) preservation model in Sindangkerta District of Cipatujah Tasikmalaya. With qualitative methods and techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation, focus group discussions, and the literature study,thes study aims to identify the type of game, the values contained in the game, and the preservation of the children games in Sindangkerta District of Cipatujah Tasikmalaya. Respondents in this study are managers of Saung Budaya Tatar KarangCipatujah and village community leaders of Sindangkerta. The results of this research show that there are twelve type of games that is preserved by Sindangkerta community. Every game has a life values applied by the mutual love, mutual teaching, and mutual care (silih asih, silih asah, dan silih asuh). The values in the game are togetherness, leadership, honesty, tolerance, moderation, etc.

Abstract

Introduction. The teachers at Kelompok Belajar Islam Terpadu (KBIT) Sukamukti village have used picture storybooks from the Library of Sukamukti village and reading them in a story telling session to their students. Two of this activities as a basic in the pre-reading activity to early childhood, so that the purpose this reaserch is to understand how the teachers use the picture storybooks, reading technique, and storytelling. Data Collection Method. This paper used a qualitative perspective with phenomenology by using observations, interviews, focus group discussions, and literature study. Analysis Data. Data from interviews were transcribed for further analysis Results and Discussion. The teachers at KBIT Sukamukti village used the picture of storybooks with fables. The teachers also discussed plot, animal activities, themes and morality based on the story. The language in the story is easy to understand by the children, book illustrations explain the reality of the character in the forest. Activities read aloud by introducing the identity of the book used, and storytelling activities through self-assement, stories, sounds, expressions, gestures, and other abilities. Conclusion. The teachers read and tell stories to educate young children in alphabet, vocabularies, and creativity. This helps early children in the process of learning pre-reading.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang kontruksi makna para pegiat perpustakaan jalanan dilakukan di Perpustakaan Jalanan yang ada di Kota Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna diri pegiat perpustakaan jalanan, motif pendirian Perpustakaan Jalanan Bandung, dan pengalaman mengelola Perpustakaan Jalanan Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil Penelitian ini menemukan adanya tiga makna pegiat perpustakaan jalanan yaitu penyedia ruang alternatif, penyegar pikiran dan menjadi seorang manusia baru. Motif tujuan didirikannya Perpustakaan Jalanan Bandung ialah mempermudah akses informasi bagi semua orang dan membuat tempat baca alternatif. Kendala dalam mengelola Perpustakaan Jalanan Bandung ialah pemukulan oleh tentara, persepsi negatif tentang perpustakaan jalanan, kredibilitas buku masih dipertanyakan dan buku-buku sering hilang.ABSTRACTResearch on the construction of meaning of street library activists conducted in the Library Street in Bandung. The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning of self-campaigning street librarian, the motive of Bandung Street Library establishment, and experience of managing the Bandung Street Library. The research method used is qualitative with phenomenology approach. The results of this study found the three meanings of street library activists are alternative space providers, refreshment of mind and become a new human being. Motif establishment of Bandung Street Library is divided into two motives of reason and motive purpose. The motive for the purpose of the establishment of Bandung Street Library is to make it easier to access information for everyone and make alternative reading places. Constraints in managing the Bandung Street Library is beating by soldiers, negative perceptions about street libraries, the credibility of books is still questionable and books are often lost.

Abstract

This research was aimed to find the construction of self involvement meaning and the motive in information literacy movement, it was also to explore the experience of information literating and communicating from individuals that were involved in Komunitas Literer Bandung. Apart from participation observation and literature studies, data was gained from series of deep interviews with 15 individuals involved in Komunitas Literer Bandung that were divided into three groups, which are initiators and owners, organizers, and the members of Tobucil N Klabs, Rumah Buku/Kineruku, Zoe Cafe and Library, Potluck Coffee Bar and Library, and Ultimus.   The result of the research indicated that individuals involved in Komunitas Literer Bandung have constructed several meanings of self involvement, where motivation and hope were the aspects that urge their involvement. Establishing, developing and taking advantage of homy information literating places; making spesific literation activities; and having unique information literation regulations were their way of information literating. Furthermore, they established and developed kinship communication and partnership communication, through interpersonal communication, small-group communication, and online commmunication. This research also found that individuals involved in Komunitas Literer Bandung not only absorbed knowledge, but also expressed themselves, by becoming a part of the community, to build and construct knowledge  as a process of becoming a literate society; smart, critical and etical independent life-long learners.

Abstract

 ABSTRAKPengabdian Kepada Masyarakat 2016 ini berjudul Pelatihan Literasi Informasi  Media Pembelajaran Bagi Guru PAUD di Kecamatan Tanjungsari. Kegiatan Pelatihan literasi  media ini  bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan dan memberikan pengetahuan terbaru tentang pemanfaatan media sebagai sumber belajar bagi para guru dan siswa,   terutama bagi guru yang harus membuat sebuah kegiatan pengajaran kepada siswanya. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan bekerja sama  dengan Pihak UPTD Dinas Pendidikan Kecamatan Cicalengka Kabupaten Bandung. Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yaitu pada  tanggal 1 September 2016. Materi utama yang disampaikan dalam pelatihan ini yakni  literasi media dan langkah-langkah membangun literasi media.  Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan  simulasi. Hasil yang dicapai menujukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dari seluruh peserta.Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang dilaksanakan.Jumlah peserta mencapai target, dengan animo peserta cukup tinggi menghasilkan diskusi mengalir dan simulasi dilaksanakan dengan sangat antusias. Dari hasil refleksi kegiatan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa peserta memahami dan mampu membuat rancangan pembelajaran berbasis literasi media.  ABSTRACT This 2016 Community Services is entitled Learning Media Information Literacy Training for Teachers of PAUD in District Cicalengka. Media literacy training activities aim to broaden and provide the latest knowledge about the use of media as a source of learning for teachers and students, especially for teachers who have to make teachingactivities for their students. The community service activities were carried out in collaboration with the UPTD (Department of Education of Subdistrict) Bandung District of Cicalengka. The Community Services Activity was conducted on 1 September 2016. The main materials presented were the media literacy training and steps to build media literacy. The methods used were lectures, discussions, and simulation. The result showed an increase in knowledge and skills of all participants. This was shown from the results of pretest and posttest conducted. The number of participants achieving the target, with the participants' high interest had generated discussion flowed, and simulations were carried out with great enthusiasm. From the results of  activities reflection, it was concluded that participants understood and were able to create media literacy based learning design.

Abstract

The process of sharing knowledge in the 'hajat lembur' tradition requires knowledge management to support the continuity of the tradition. The research aimed to discover the steps of sharing knowledge on 'hajat lembur' traditions. The method used a qualitative case study approach. Data collection was through interviews, discussions, observations, and literature studies. The data validity test process used data triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis was performed descriptively through the stages of reduction, presentation, and concluding. The data source consisted of six people: two community and religious leaders, three people managing Saung Budaya Tatarkarang, and one government official. Results showed knowledge sharing activities in the process of 'hajat lembur' tradition is a form of gratitude as well as a medium in building human relations with humans, humans with nature, and humans with God, consisted of four stages: socialization, internalization, combination, and externalization. Socialization is in the form of village elders' information delivery about the concept of 'hirup anu hurip' by creating a harmony of life among people, between humans with nature, and humans with their gods. Internalization process, received knowledge is processed and stored in the memory of each individual. Combination process, each member of the community reconfigures explicit knowledge by sorting, classifying, and developing. Externalization, the knowledge in one's mind is conveyed to others by certain media. In conclusion, the Tatarkarang community keep a harmony of life through relations with humans, humans with nature, and humans with God.

Abstract

Character education implementation must be integrated with various life activities. Storytelling activities can be a medium for character education, both at school and outside school. This is in line with the benefits of storytelling, namely to sharpen the imagination and thought, instill values and ethics, and improve vocabulary.  This study aimed to find out the steps of storytelling as a character learning strategy. The research method used was a qualitative case study approach. The collecting data process was through interviews, discussions, observations, and literature studies. Validity and reliability tests were through the process of data triangulation and source triangulation. Consideration of choosing this method was the research data nature, which could maintain the object integrity. This means that data relating to research was comprehended as an integrated whole. Descriptive data analysis was through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Data sources in the study amounted to 7 people, consisting of community and religious leaders (3 people), manager of the ‘Saung Budaya Tatarkarang’ community reading park (2 people), and the education office (2 people). The results showed that storytelling activities at ‘Saung Budaya Tatarkarang’ were able to build children's character at the stages of socialization and internalization. This occurred due to the implementation of storytelling activities through the stages of setting goals and theme of the story, the form of storytelling, materials and tools, the design steps of storytelling activities, and the design of storytelling activities assessment. These five steps are carried out in stages in each event.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to disscussed about knowledge sharing behavior of multi language in fakta bahasa community located in Bogor. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative method with case study approach. The data collection was done by in-depth interviews, observation, and literature. The informans are 5 members of fakta bahasa community and 2 members of the others community in Bogor. Informans choosen by purposive sampling. The result showed that norms and value in community based on rights and obligations of community’s members to share the knowledge in the language club, the method to shared the knowledge in community through the weekly discussion called clubbing, the members collaborated knowlededge has been owned with the new knowledge and use in daily activities, and social network formed by similarity interest of the language and connected by social media.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskusikan tentang pengetahuan perilaku berbagi dengan multi bahasa di komunitas Fakta Bahasa yang terletak di Bogor. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan menggunakan literatur. Informan terdiri dari 5 anggota komunitas Fakta Bahasa dan 2 anggota komunitas lain di Bogor. Informan dipilih berdasarkan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa norma-norma dan nilai dalam komunitas berdasarkan hak dan kewajiban anggota komunitas untuk berbagi pengetahuan dalam klub bahasa, metode untuk berbagi pengetahuan dalam masyarakat melalui diskusi mingguan yang disebut clubbing, anggota komunitas berbagi pengetahuan yang telah dimiliki dengan pengetahuan baru dan digunakan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, dan jaringan sosial yang dibentuk oleh kepentingan kesamaan bahasa dan terhubung dengan media sosial.

Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the information literacy of rural communities on society empowerment at Cikancung Sub-District, Bandung Regency. Particularly the research was aimed to find out the information literacy level of the rural communities on planning, implementing, utilization and evaluating program. Mixed methods was used in the research, while data was gained from questioner, focus group discussion, interview, observation and literature studies. First benefit of the research was an evaluation form of implementation goverment policy. Second benefit was that the form could be useful input for the government of Bandung Regency, especially for BKPPP in implementing food self-sufficient village program. The result of the research indicated that the information literacy level of the rural communities on planning, implementing, utilization, and evaluating program was positive. It meant that the rural communities were already literate. The result was based on statistical calculation, which showed that median value less than score value, and the score value less than quartil value III. So that it could be concluded that the rural communities were already literate towards the government program of society empowerment.Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Literasi Informasi Masyarakat Pedesaan  dalam Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat  Di Kecamatan Cikancung  Kabupaten Bandung. Dengan menggunakan metode  gabungan mixed methods dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket, wawancara, FGD, observasi, dan studi pustaka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  tingkat Literasi  masyarakat  pedesaan pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengambilan manfaat, dan evaluasi program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Manfaat penelitian ini yakni sebagai bentuk evaluasi program terutama terhadap implementasi kebijakan pemerintah. Selain itu, Sebagai masukan bagi pemerintah Kabupaten Bandung terutama Badan Ketahanan Pangan dan Pelaksana Penyuluhan (BKPPP) Kabupaten Bandung dalam mengiplementasikan program desa mandiri pangan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat  literasi masyarakat pedesaan baik pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengambilan manfaat, dan  evaluasi  program pemberdayaan dapat dikategorikan positif artinya masyarakat sudah literat. Hal ini didasarkan pada hasil perhitungan statistik  yang menggambarkan  bahwa nilai median lebih kecil dari nilai skor dan nilai skor lebih kecil dari nilai kuartil III. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Masyarakat Di Kecamatan Cikancung  Kabupaten Bandung sudah literat terhadap program pemberdayaan masyarakat.
