Abstract

Chronic energy deficiencies often occur and attack women of childbearing age. this illustrates insufficient energy and protein intake and it can result in health and unbalanced nutritional patterns. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between diet and educational history with the incidence of chronic energy deficiency in women of childbearing age in Gunturu Village, Herlang District, Bulukumba, Province of South Sulawesi. This research was conducted in 2019 with a total sample of 359 people,  the design of this study was cross sectional study, data collection through interviews using questionnaires and direct observation, data of Chronic energy deficiencies obtained through LiLA measurements, consumption patterns obtained through interviews using the FFQ Form, and it was analyzed statistically with the chi square test. The result shown that the eating patterns of most respondents were in the good category and did not experience KEK. While the majority of respondents with less eating patterns did not experience KEK. Respondents who had never attended school, respondents had completed elementary / junior high / high school education, and respondents who graduated from tertiary institutions mostly did not experience KEK. The absence of a statistically significant relationship between diet and education was likely to be influenced by the proportion of WUS who experience a lower KEK that was 45 people than WUS who did not experience KEK as many as 314 people. Abstract

The description of community behavior in utilizing existing health service facilities in their area can be seen from the success rate of the Posyandu program, namely the coverage of weighing children under five at the Posyandu. This study aims to examine that nutrition education interventions through community nutrition classes can increase the scope of integrated health care (posyandu) performance (D/S, N/D) in Bulukumba Regency, Indonesia. This research design is quasi-experimental. The samples in this study were mothers of children under five who were in the intervention area (n=107) and control (n=113). The intervention group was given nutrition education through community nutrition class activities, while the control group was given counseling. The results showed that there were changes in the intervention group in the form of increased knowledge of mothers of children under five, increased parenting patterns of mothers of children under five, increased levels of community participation, and increased body weight of toddlers compared to the intervention group. control group. Community nutrition classes at posyandu can be used as a model in increasing the level of community participation in posyandu because there are changes in both knowledges, child care patterns, the number of visits at posyandu (D/S), and the number of toddlers who experience weight gain from the previous month's weighing (N/D) for increased significantly.

Abstract

Menarche pada remaja wanita adalah salah satu tanda kematangan fisik dan seksual. Berbagai studi melaporkan bahwa faktor gizi memiliki peran penting terjadinya menarche pada remaja putri. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi dengan usia menarche pada remaja putri SMP Negeri 10 Bulukumba, Kecamatan Ujungloe, Kabupaten Bulukumba. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumal 74 orang (total sampling) yaitu seluruh siswi yang telah mengalami menarche. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan responden dengan status gizi baik dengan usia menarche normal sebanyak 43,75% dan responden dengan usia menarche tidak normal sebanyak 56,25%. Sedangkan responden dengan status gizi kurang dengan usia menarche tidak normal sebanyak 84,62% dan responden dengan usia menarche normal hanya 15,38%. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan status gizi dengan usia Menarche pada Remaja Puteri SMPN 10 Bulukumba Kecamatan Ujung Loe Kabupaten Bulukumba (Pv=0,020; OR=4,28). Status gizi merupakan faktor yang signifikan terkait dengan usia menarche. Remaja putri dengan status gizi yang baik akan mengalami waktu pubertas secara normal, sehingga terjadi menstruasi secara normal dan tanpa gangguan.

Abstract

One of the important elements of development that needs attention is social and economic development for women. The role of women in the development of the Islamic economic sector is now very significant. This has had many positive impacts on both sharia economic growth and the Indonesian economy in general. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the economic empowerment program in empowered women learning groups (KBPB) which is a CSR program of PT. Pertamina Marketing Operation Region VII, Ujung Tanah District, Makassar City. This research uses descriptive quantitative research, with a total sample of 30 respondents. The results showed that 70% of respondents were able to start SME businesses independently after participating in the KBPB program, and 30% had not been able to develop their businesses independently. Based on the perceived changes that 50% of participants were able to develop productive activities in the economic field, 40% strongly agreed that after participating in the program participants were able to self-actualize, and 40% strongly agreed that they were able to collaborate with others to form a business after joining the KBPB program.

Abstract

Background: JKN (National Health Insurance) is one of the government's efforts to improve public health status by requiring all Indonesians to become JKN members.Objective:This research aims to determine whether the determinant factor of fee payments has an effect on the compliance of Independent JKN participants in paying the fees.Method: A quantitative research with an analytic-observational approach and a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study was all the Independent JKN participants in Biringkanya sub-district, Makassar. The samples in this study were 52 families that were selected by using accidental sampling technique and the data collection method was carried out by using an online questionnaire via Google form.Result: The results of this study indicate there is an effect of the respondent's income (0.001), increase in contributions (0.005), the deadline for payment of contributions (0.011) on the compliance of JKN Mandiri participants in paying BPJS Health contributions, and there is no effect of education (0.723), employment (0.138) and contribution payment procedures (0.656) to the compliance of JKN Mandiri participants to pay BPJS Health contributions in the Biringkanaya sub-district, Makassar City in 2020.Conclusion:Adjusting the amount of fees, adding time limits and in-depth socialization to the community are some alternatives that can be used by providers, in this case by Health BPJS in increasing compliance to pay Health BPJS fees.

Abstract

Background:The Balanced Scorecard can translate organizational and strategic vision and mission into the operational goals and measure the performance for four different perspectivesObjective:The study was aimed at finding out the overview of performance measurement using the Balanced Scorecard method at Faisal Islamic Hospital of Makassar.Method: The study was descriptive quantitative research involving 11869 patients/families of patients as research population and 403 employees as the samples gathered using a Stratified Random Sampling technique. The collected data were then analyzed univariately.Result:The results of the study revealed that on the costumers’ perspective, the customers’ acquisition was the only indicator showing the unfavorable result decreased by 4.64%. In the financial perspective, the ROI indicator and effectiveness ratio had decreased by 18.96% and 59.6%, both indicators were stated to be less good. In the Internal Business perspective in terms of service quality the BOR and ALOS ratio were said to be less good. From the perspective of Learning and Growth it was very good where all indicators were in accordance with the standards. The four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard were very influential on the hospital’s performance.Conclusion:By improving the costumers’ acquisition, the hospital income would increase as well.

Abstract

Background: Food management system is a series of activities ranging from menu planning to food distribution to consumers to achieve optimal status. There are 23 Islamic boarding schools in Makassar City with 7,600 students consisting of 4,006 female students and 3594 male students.Objective:This study aims to determine the implementation of food at the Darul Aman Islamic Boarding School in Makassar.Method: This research is a research qualitative with an approach descriptive using primary and secondary data. Determination of informants using purposive sampling method consisting of 3 key informants and 8 regular informants. Data were collected by in-depth interviews and processed using content analysis after which triangulation was carried out.Result: Based on interviews and observations, it was found that the annual expenditure budget planning was 230 / month. SAOP foodstuff procurement, an acceptance process that includes inspection or research based on details of daily orders or invoices. The storage of food ingredients uses the FIFO method, the process of preparing food ingredients includes standard recipes and equipment preparation. Processing of food ingredients based on ingredients ordered by the head of the kitchen without a menu cycle. The distribution of food uses a combination of centralized-decentralized systems.Conclusion: The implementation of hygiene and sanitation in the process of organizing food has not been maximized, starting from preparation to distribution is not following Permenkes No. 1204 / Menkes / SK / X / 2004 and Health Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 942 / Menkes / SK / 2003. It is recommended that foundations and pesantren pay more attention to the completeness of equipment and materials in the kitchen, as well as hygiene and sanitation so that food administration runs optimally

Abstract

The National Health Insurance is a program launched by the Indonesian government since 2004 with the issuance of National Law No.40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System (SJSN) which mandates that social security is mandatory for all residents including National Health Insurance through a National Security Administration. Social as manager of the Health Insurance system. In Indonesia, data shows that in 2019 BPJS Kesehatan participants were 221,580,743 out of 267.6 million people in Indonesia.This research was conducted to determine the factors related to the level of JKN participation in the PBPU category in Paselloreng Village. This research is a quantitative study with an observational analytic approach with a cross sectional study design and a sample size of 204 respondents who were taken by means of Accidential Sampling.The results of the study using the chi square test showed that the factors associated with the JKN participation in the category of Non-Wage Workers were Knowledge (p-value = 0,000), income (p-value = 0.001), Number of Family Members (p-value = 0.024), Perception (p-value = 0,000) and motivation (p-value = 0,000), while the variable not related to JKN participation in the category of Non-Wage Workers in Paselloreng Village is Last Education (p-value = 0.187), Occupation (p-value = 0.760 , and distance of access to BPJS Health services (p-value = 0.097). Suggestions from this study are expected for the government and society to pay more attention to the things that cause the lack of public participation in JKN such as difficult access to services, equal distribution of contribution assistance. inaccurate, inadequate information, and encouragement for the public to participate in JKN.Keywords: Healthcare BPJS, JKN, Non-Wage Workers, Independent Participants, Non- Participants

Abstract

Abstrak: Keterlibatan masyarakat dalam menentukan status gizi balita melalui kader posyandu masih terbatas pada penimbangan berat badan dan pencatatan dalam Kartu Menuju Sehat (KMS). Hasil penimbangan dianalisis oleh petugas gizi dari puskesmas sehingga kader belum secara mandiri menilai status gizi balita di posyandu. Tujuan pendampingan adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada kelompok desa sehat di Desa Ujung Bulu Kecamatan Rumbia Kabupaten Jeneponto sebanyak 10 orang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi pendampingan, pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas, pendampingan, pemantauan, dan pemetaan status gizi balita. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kelompok desa sehat telah mampu mengumpulkan data antropometri anak balita (100%) dengan adanya peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam pemantauan dan pemetaan status gizi (85%) oleh kelompok desa sehat melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan. Dari Kegiatan pendampingan, diperoleh gambaran hasil penilaian dan pemetaan status gizi anak balita di desa yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan pemerintah setempat untuk melakukan intervensi baik upaya pencegahan maupun penanganan terhadap permasalah gizi balita. Kegiatan dari pelatihan dan pendampingan diharapkan dapat diaplikasikan pada kegiatan rutin penimbangan balita di posyandu.Abstract: Community involvement in determining the nutritional status of children under five through posyandu cadres is still limited to weighing and recording in the Card of Towards Health (KMS). The results of the weighing were analyzed by nutrition officers from the puskesmas so that the cadres were not yet independent in assessing the nutritional status of children under five at the posyandu. The purpose of the mentoring is to provide training and assistance to healthy village groups in Ujung Bulu Village, Rumbia District, Jeneponto Regency that are 10 peoples. The methods used are mentoring socialization, capacity building training, mentoring, monitoring, and mapping the nutritional status of children under five. The results show that the healthy village group has been able to collect anthropometric data for children under five (100%) with an increase in the abilities and skills (85%) of the healthy village group through training and mentoring. From the mentoring activities, a description of the nutritional results and mapping of the nutritional status of children under five in the village was obtained which could be used as a reference for the local government to intervene in both prevention and treatment of under-five problems. The activities from the training and mentoring are expected to be applied to the routine weighing of toddlers at the posyandu.

Abstract

Wasting merupakan kondisi kekurangan gizi akut pada balita hal ini ditandai dengan berat badan balita tidak sebanding dengan tinggi badan atau nilai z-score <-2 SD (Standart deviasi). Prevalensi Kejadian wasting dan severely wasting di indonesia berdasarkan hasil Riskesdas Tahun 2018 mencapai 10,2% dan sebesar 7,1% di Tahun 2021, Hal ini masih menjadi permasalahan gizi di indonesia karena belum mencapai target RPJMN Tahun 2020-2024 yaitu 7%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara asupan zat gizi makro terhadap kejadian wasting pada balita usia 0-59 bulan di kecamatan polombangkeng utara kabupaten takalar tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah balita usia 0-59 bulan di kecamatan polombangkeng utara dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 146 balita. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu probability sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi-square menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara asupan energi terhadap kejadian wasting dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), terdapat hubungan antara asupan karbohidrat terhadap kejadian wasting dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), terdapat hubungan antara asupan protein terhadap kejadian wasting dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000 (<0,05) dan terdapat hubungan antara asupan lemak terhadap kejadian wasting dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,010 (<0,05). Permasalahan wasting pada balita dapat dicegah dan diatasi melalui pemenuhan asupan zat gizi makanan terhadap balita selain itu juga bisa dengan melakukan intervensi pemberian makanan tambahan.
