Abstract

Sekolah vokasi yang dikelola oleh Yayasan Pendidikan Kaliasin Surabaya– Surabaya yang secara khusus memberikan perhatian pada insan difabel agar memiliki bekal keterampilan terkadang merasa tertinggal dengan pengembangan inovasi yang terus berkembang. Berbagai keterampilan baru yang ada semestinya juga dapat dirasakan oleh insan difabel sebagai alternatif bekal yang kemungkinan menjadi passion insan difabel. Kendala yang dihadapi saat melatih dan membimbing insan difabel mengakibatkan tidak banyak insan non difabel yang mau melatih.Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini secara spesifik disesuaikan dengan pelaku yang akan menerima manfaat, dalam hal ini adalah insan difabel. Setelah dilakukan pelatihan, pendampingan dan pemberdayaan terhadap insan disabilitas oleh tim pelaksana maka dapat disimpulkan: 1) .Pada saat pelatihan terjadinya kolaborasi yang baik antara insan disabel dengan tim pelaksana sehingga transfer pengetahuan mudah diterima sehingga proses laminasi untuk menyatukan komponen kursi dan meja dapat berjalan dengan lancar. 2).Pada tahap memproduksi ulang, terlihat insan disabel melakukan dengan semangat dan dapat melakukan dengan baik walaupun harus tetap diberi pengarahan agar dapat dilakukan dengan benar. 3.Pemberdayaan merupakan tantangan tersendiri dan yang paling berat, karena harus melawan kurangnya kepercayaan diri, dan belum terbiasa bekerja.Kata Kunci:Difabel,keterampilan,produksi kursi,produksi meja.

Abstract

Menulis merupakan salah satu modal yang sudah selayaknya dimiliki oleh para pebisnis atau pengusaha awal. Keterampilan menulis sangat penting bagi para perintis usaha sendiri. Salah satu keuntungan keterampilan menulis adalah adanya kemampuan menuangkan ide atau gagasannya dalam bentuk tulisan sehingga ketika orang bisa berbicara maka dirinya sendiri itu mampu menyampaikan gagasan/idenya dalam bentuk tulisan. Dalam pelatihan menulis ini, semua peserta melalui tahap-tahap berikut ini, yaitu 1) persiapan, 2) menyusun outline, 3) menulis sesuai outline menjadi sebuah draft, 4) merevisi. Suasana pelatihan dibuat sedemikian rupa agar para peserta kerasan dan menemukan cara belajarnya sendiri. Target pelatihan menulis ini adalah para peserta mampu menyusun company profile dan proposal dan keduanya tercapai.Kata kunci: menulis, outline, company profile, proposal AbstractWriting is one of the skills that any businessperson or young entrepreneur should have. It is a very important skill for self-employed entrepreneurs. One of the advantages of writing skill is the ability to express ideas in written form so that even when they are unable to speak directly to each other, they will still able to convey their ideas in written form. In this writing workshop, all participants went through the following stages, namely 1) writing preparation, 2) outlining, 3) turning the outline into a draft, 4) revising. The training atmosphere is made in such a way that the participants might feel at home and find their own way of learning. The goal of this writing workshop is that the participants would be able to compile a good company profile and a good business proposal.Keywords: writing, outline, company profile, proposal

Abstract

This research was made to identify the effect of Marketing Capability, Customer Engagement, Customer Perception toward Purchase Intention on Bihun Jagung “Padamu” Products in Surabaya. This research was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 75 respondents who knew the corn vermicelli “Padamu” product. The analysis technique used in this study is quantitative with a non- probability sampling method that is purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that Marketing Capability, Customer Engagement, Customer Perception have a strong influence toward Purchase intention

Abstract

This community service activity is a continuation of 2022, the Paedagogia SLB Vocational School which is managed by the Kaliasin Education Foundation in Surabaya which specifically pays attention to people with disabilities so that they have skills. After training, mentoring and empowering people with disabilities, there has been good collaboration between people with disabilities and the implementing team so that the transfer of knowledge is easy to accept so that the lamination process to unite the chair and table components can run smoothly until the finished product, namely chairs and tables. In the next stage, mentoring is carried out for teachers to calculate the cost of chair and table products as a basis for determining the selling price. Cost of production consists of three types of costs: 1) Direct raw materials 2) Direct labor 3) Factory overhead costs. The results of the calculation of the three cost components show that the cost of production for one chair or one table is IDR 359,805 and the shipping costs are borne by the seller. Meanwhile, the selling price depends on the desired profit.

Abstract

Surabaya has a community called "Pedagang Kue", in Kampung Kue precisely in the densely populated residential area, Rungkut Lor II, Rungkut District. The presence of the community of cake traders in the community originated from people's desire to obtain a better economic level, by making the cake village to economic activity, every morning, 65 cake sellers, mostly mothers, have sold various kinds of traditional cakes in front of their homes, but their efforts are still carried out individually and are not well organized, so the impact has not been seen significantly. So it is necessary to open a network with outside parties, among others, with the Daram Cendika Catholic University Community Service Team.The team makes programs that are currently needed, among others: Making SOPs so that work is more efficient, consistent and minimizes mistakes, simple bookkeeping in addition to being needed to know business development as well necessary instill understanding of the need for financial separation for business and personal needs costs. The public at large needs to know about the existence of a cake trader in a cake village, so we need a means of promotion that is by making brochures and katolok which aim to support the promotion tools that already existed before. The last program as a form of concern for the current situation is the corona virus outbreak, so the team and the residents of the cake village built a series of disinfecting sprinkle spray so that no residents were affected by the virus.

Abstract

Surabaya City government implements article 34 paragraph 1 CONSTITUTION 1945 with Food program, which is given to the underprivileged community. The food Program started in 2012, the number of food recipients in 2019 has reached 35,414 people. Details, elderly and pre-elderly 20,000 people, orphans, orphans and orphans as many as 6,000 children, as well as a disability of 9,414 people. In Kelurahan Gebang Putih There are 84 food recipients who all consist of the elderly. The food program is very helpful to the elderly to fulfill the needs of primary food, but as good as the program, still leave some issues, among others: the food served is less liked by the recipient because of the physical condition and age, many places to eat the edges are broken and often disappear and food sanitation is less hyginical. To solve the problem: it should be often conducted a meeting between the Dinsos and a food provider who is directly faced with the recipient of the meal so that all issues will be quickly addressed according to the authority.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to explore the kenaf fiber. From secondary data and interviews conducted with the Center for Fiber and Sweetener Plants (Balittas). Kenaf fiber from stems is the mainstay of exports. Indonesia has been exporting kenaf to Japan since 2010. The material being exported is Sterilized Kenaf Core Dry Kenaf. Even though kenaf is a plant commodity, the health certificate issued by the Agricultural Quarantine is a Health Certificate/HC. Based on data from the IQFAST automation system in the Surabaya Agricultural Quarantine work area, kenaf exports in 2019 until the first week of August were 76 tons or equivalent to Rp. 554 million. This has reached 88.8% of total exports in 2018 which reached 85.5 tons. According to IQFAST data, the export of Sterilized Kenaf Core Dry Kenaf during the first half of 2020 has been carried out 2 times with a total volume of 13,080 tons worth more than Rp. 9.53 billion rupiah to Japan Keywords: export, kenaf, raw materials, various industries

Abstract

This assessment was carried out when SLB Pedagogia Maospati students in Magetan Regency practiced skills in making table and chair components using plywood lamination techniques. Training is carried out in seven stages of the production process. Twelve male and female students with three disabilities, namely mental impairment, hearing impairment and physical impairment. The training method is carried out on practice, by carrying out work examples and practicing them directly by students. After the training is complete, an assessment is carried out on students for each stage that has been trained. Assessment is carried out in two methods, namely: 1) qualitative by writing down what activities students can carry out; 2) Quantitatively, students will be assessed for their abilities on an assessment scale that has a range of Not Capable with a score of 1, and Very Capable with a score of 7. The aim of this assessment is to group students in the existing production process. This is intended so that students have the ability and can develop it into a production process that can be carried out. The conclusion of the implementation of Community Service resulted in eight Faktors that influenced SLB students to accept the knowledge transfer provided by the UKDC PkM Team in 2023.

Abstract

The opportunity to practice, try and be independent is the right of all human beings. In reality, there are still human beings who find it difficult to get the opportunity to practice and develop themselves with the new skills that exist. Opportunities to get training are sometimes not considered for people with disabilities. Physical, mental and intellectual limitations become a barrier to be equal with non-disabled people. Activity limitations are not an excuse not to study and practice. Human ability has a tendency to understand a skill that is given the right method and the right practical understanding. Easy understanding, innovation in implementation methods is a solution for people with disabilities. Ability does not appear suddenly but requires assistance. The implementation of training activities for people with disabilities carried out by the community service team at SLB Paedagogia Surabaya provided a positive stimulus. The formation of an understanding of how easy it is to make a bench that has aesthetic, functional and economic value. Through the technique of lamination of plywood on curved moldings, the students understand one of the carpentry techniques. With a pedagogic approach, the application of the lamination technique by simplifying the production stage makes it easy for students with disabilities. Inherent assistance that is carried out for students with disabilities is a means of transferring knowledge.
