Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Brand Image and Price on Purchase Decisions by Shopee consumers in Bandung City, both partially and simultaneously. The sampling method in this research is using descriptive quantitative methods. Sampling with probability sampling method with the type of simple random sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire instrument as many as 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. Tests in this study using SPSS 25. Hypothesis testing in this study using t test and f test. The coefficient of determination (R2) obtained from the brand image and price variables on purchasing decisions is 0.792 (79.2%). The results of multiple linear regression indicate that brand image has an effect of 0.377 (37. 7%) on purchasing decisions and prices has an effect of 0.409 (40.9%) on purchasing decisions. It can be said that from the t test and f test, brand image and price have a significant partial effect on purchasing decisions and brand image and price together have a significant simultaneous effect on purchasing decisions on Shopee.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the relationship between employee empowerment and service quality improvement. The approach used is a quantitative descriptive approach. The research population is culinary companies in the city of Makassar. Data were collected using a survey with the technique of determining the company as the sample is the convenience sampling technique. A total of 120 questionnaires were circulated to be filled out by the owner, manager or at least the supervisor level. A total of 97 questionnaires were returned and after being checked, were declared complete for analysis. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and then tested for validity and reliability. Valid and reliable indicators of employee empowerment and service quality are then tested with classical assumptions to ensure that the data found can be processed parametrically, namely correlation and regression analysis for hypothesis testing. The results of the correlation analysis show that there is a strong correlation between employee empowerment and service quality improvement and the results of the hypothesis test state that employee empowerment has a significant effect on improving service quality. The implication of this research is that continuous empowerment of employees needs to be done so that the quality of service is getting better. It is recommended that further research be carried out in other business.

Abstract

Non-communicable diseases are diseases whose incidence continues to increase with age. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is a relationship between family support for elderly self-management and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) at the PKM Rangkasbitung Banten Elderly Posyandu. This research used a cross sectional design with a sampling number of 71 respondents, sampling using a total sampling technique. The results obtained were that the majority of respondents were women 41 (57.7%) and the ages of the respondents were mostly young elderly (60-69 years), namely 40 (56.3%) and the majority of respondents suffered from hypertension 51 (71.8%). Of the 42 (59.2%) respondents who received high support, 39 (92.9%) had high self-management and 3 (7.1%%) respondents who received low family support. The results of the chi square analysis obtained a p value of 0.000 (p<0.05) with an odds ratio value of 18.42, this shows that there is a significant relationship between family support and self-management of the elderly and PTM at PKM Rangkasbitung Banten. It is expected that health workers and their families can provide support and motivation to the elderly to improve their health status, especially in improving self-management of the PTD disease they suffer from.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of knowledge management practices on the human resources development within culinary Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Makassar, providing empirical insights into how the strategic acquisition, sharing, and application of knowledge can foster enhanced employee capabilities and organizational resilience. This research explores the specific mechanisms through which knowledge management initiatives, such as formal training programs, informal learning networks, and technological platforms, contribute to the upskilling and reskilling of the workforce in this dynamic sector. Using organizational learning approach, knowledge management and human resource development indicators were developed.  Data from this study obtained from questionnaires distributed directly to owner or manager of culinary SMEs in Makassar. Multiple regression was applied to analyze the data. The finding of this research show that knowledge management consists of knowledge development, knowledge sharing/distribution and utilization of knowledge were simultaneously have positive significant influence the development of human resources. The results offer practical insights, including policy recommendations for improving human resource development in culinary SMEs.
