Abstract

The presence of hawkers is an important factor because it is related to food intake for students. Activities at school have taken up a considerable amount of time in daily activities, including eating activities. In general, school children, in addition to consuming food at home, also have the habit of buying snacks at school. Abstract

Kelelahan (fatigue) merupakan suatu keluhan yang paling umum terjadi pada masyarakat dan pada populasi pekerja. Kelelahan kerja sangat mempengaruhi seseorang sehingga dapat menurunkan konsentrasi kinerja pekerja dan menurunnya konsentrasi kerja pekerja. Kelelahan kerja adalah melemahnya kondisi fisik seorang pekerja yang disebabkan karena faktor pekerja dan lingkungan kerjanya. Faktor penyebab kelelahan kerja diantaranya adalah beban kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja dengan kelelahan kerja pada wanita karier yang memiliki anak balita di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mandai Kabupaten Maros Tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain pendekatan cros sectional. Jumalah sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 98 responden pada wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mandai Kabupaten Maros. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik random sampling. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji bivariat dengan uji hubungan chi square. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara beban kerja fisik (p = 0,000 < 0,05), beban kerja mental (p = 0,002 < =0,05) dengan kelelahan kerja. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja fisik dan beban kerja mental dengan kelelahan kerja. Diharapkan kepada peneliti selanjutnya sebaiknya dapat meneliti atau menambah variabel-variabel yang dapat berhubungan atau mempengaruhi tingkat kelelahan kerja.

Abstract

Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengolah potensi lokal sebagai kearifan lokal setiap daerah, memiliki sumber daya alam yang tersedia. Khususnya masyarakat yang bermukim di daerah pedalaman, sangat tertinggal akan informasi kesehatan.   Desa Buki adalah salah satu desa di Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar bearada di pedalaman perbukitan kaya dengan tumbuhan kelapa. Desa ini merupakan penghasil kopra terbanyak di Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar. Salah satu budaya minuman leluhur adalah air kelapa muda yang diolah menjadi minuman jus  bernilai ekonomi. Selain itu buah kelapa muda dan air kelapa dapat diolah menjadi variasi lain yaitu yoghurt.Berdasarkan survey penelitian kami  melihat kondisi masyarakat banyak menderita gangguan pencernaan yaitu diare. Oleh karena itu sangat bagus memanfaatkan potensi lokal desa dalam hal ini air kelapa/buah kelapa muda menjadi yoghurt. Kelapa diketahui bersifat anti-bakteri, anti-virus,  dan juga berperan dalam mengendalikan kolesterol jahat dalam darah dan kesehatan jantung.. Dengan demikian dilaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengolah limbah air kelapa/kelapa muda menjadi yogurt sebagai solusi dari pencegahan penyakit diare.Dari hasil kesepakatan bersama mitra dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, partisipasi menjadi lebih fleksibel, sehingga mitra terlibat secara langsung khusunya dalam demonstrasi pengolahan coconut. Pelaksanaan diterapkan secara onsite dengan menggunakan peralatan sesuai protokol kesehatan secara ketat. Kegiatan meliputi tahapan-tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi serta keberlanjutan program.Hasil pree dan pos test menjelaskan ada peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang manfaat air kelapa yaitu 15% pengetahuan cara memuat yogurt berbahan air kelapa/kelapa muda, dan 85% keinginan membuka usaha  serta motivasi masyarakat membuat yogurt air kelapa/kelapa muda yang akan di jadikan produk lokal berbentuk Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM)

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem due to lack of nutritional intake in the long term, resulting in impaired growth in children. Stunting is also one of the causes of stunted children's height, so it is lower than children their age. This study aims to determine the socioeconomic level of stunting mothers. The quantitative research design of this study sample was 27 stunting mothers and the sampling method used total sampling. This type of research uses a descriptive method by collecting information from respondents by asking several survey questions. The results in this study are that the majority of stunting mothers are aged 20-29 years as many as 19 people (70.4%), the majority of stunting baduta mothers' education is SMK (51.9%), the majority of stunting baduta mothers' jobs are IRT as many as 25 people (92.6%). It can be concluded that a mother's educational history affects children's growth and development, family income affects the incidence of stunting and mother's work affects the occurrence of stunting in children. It is expected that mothers need to increase knowledge about nutritional status in feeding children.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Masalah kesehatan yang terkait pada lansia adalah anemia, sebuah studi menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi anemia lansia pada penelitian tersebut adalah 73,5% dengan proporsi yang terdiri dari 68% anemia ringan, 62,7% anemia normochomic dan normocitari. Madu mengandung lebih dari 200 komponen dan merupakan salah satu bahan pangan yang bergizi lengkap. Madu merupakan bahan pangan yang kaya glukosa dan fruktosa alami. Bahan lain yang terkandung dalam madu adalah asam amino, enzim, vitamin, protein, asam organik, flavonoid dan komponen fenolik lainnya. Madu juga kaya komponen antioksidan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan pola konsumsi madu dengan kadar hemoglobin pada lansia. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis peneltian observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bangges I Kabupaten Majene. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 183 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu Random Sampling dengan Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Chi square. Hasil: Pola konsumsi madu mempunyai hubungan secara signifikan terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada lansia dengan nilai (Pvalue 0.000). Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara pola konsumsi madu dengan kadar hemoglobin pada lansia. Objective: To determine the relationship between honey consumption patterns and hemoglobin levels in the elderly. Method: This study used a quantitative descriptive research design. This research uses analytical observational research with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were all elderly people in the Bangges I Health Center Working Area of Majene Regency. The number of samples in this study were 183 people. The sampling technique in this study was Random Sampling with the statistical test used was the Chi square test. Results: Honey consumption patterns have a significant relationship to hemoglobin levels in the elderly with a value of (Pvalue 0.000). Conclusion: There is an association between honey consumption patterns and hemoglobin levels in the elderly.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Frekuensi kejadian stunting pada masyarakat Mandar di kabupaten Majene Sulawesi Barat masih tinggi. Faktor utama penyebab stunting adalah buruknya asupan gizi sejak periode awal pertumbuhanan perkembangan janin hingga anak berusia dua tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kejadian stunting yang tinggi terjadi karena faktor pola makan, penyakit infeksi, pola asuh, dan pengetahuan ibu balita stunting. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana etnografi stunting pada etnis Mandar di kabupaten Majene Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi yang berupaya memahami aspek budaya melalui serangkaian pengamatan dan interpretasi perilaku manusia. Secara khusus, studi etnografi difokuskan pada perilaku budaya terhadap kejadian stunting. Hasil: Stunting disebabkan karena pola makan, penyakit infeksi, pola asuh dan pengetahuan ibu balita stunting. Kesimpulan: Masyarakat Mandar di Majene sudah memahami setiap aspek kejadian stunting pada anak di bawah lima tahun. Namun, mereka masih memiliki kepercayaan makanan yang dilarang dikonsumsi ibu hamil, pemberian teh dan kopi pada anak balita, pemberian MP-ASI dini, dan pengetahuan ibu balita stunting. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan holistik untuk mengurangi frekuensi kejadian stunting. ABSTRACT Background: The frequency of stunting in Mandar people in Majene district, West Sulawesi is still high. The main factor causing stunting is poor nutritional intake from the early period of fetal development until the child is two years old. The results showed that the high incidence of stunting occurred due to dietary factors, infectious diseases, parenting, and knowledge of mothers of stunted toddlers. Objective: To find out how the ethnography of stunting in Mandar ethnicity in Majene district, West Sulawesi province. Method: This research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach that seeks to understand cultural aspects through a series of observations and interpretations of human behavior. Specifically, the ethnographic study focused on cultural behavior towards the incidence of stunting. Results: Stunting is caused by diet, infectious diseases, parenting and knowledge of mothers of stunted toddlers. Conclusion: The Mandarese community in Majene has understood every aspect of stunting in children under five years old. However, they still have beliefs about foods that are prohibited for pregnant women, giving tea and coffee to children under five, early complementary feeding, and knowledge of mothers of stunted children under five. Therefore, a holistic approach is needed to reduce the frequency of stunting.

Abstract

Background: Mothers’ knowledge and attitudes are important factors influencing the success of exclusive breastfeeding. This study aims to analyze the relationship between mothers' attitudes and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding for children aged 6-24 months in the working area of Mandai Health Center, Maros Regency.Method: The method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The study population comprises all mothers with children aged 6-24 months, totaling 87 individuals. The sample was determined using the total population sampling technique, thus the sample size is 87. The data analysis included both univariate and bivariate analyses.Result: The results showed that 75.9% of the mothers had a good attitude, 17.2% had a moderate attitude, and 6.9% had a poor attitude. Statistical tests revealed a significant relationship between mothers' attitudes and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding for children aged 6-24 months in the Mandai Health Center area (p = 0.000). The study concludes that there is a significant relationship between mothers' attitudes and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding in the Mandai Health Center working area. It is recommended that mothers maintain a positive attitude by requiring prospective and new mothers to read materials on the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Peningkatan kualitas  pelayanan  kesehatan  dapat  dilakukan  dari  berbagai  aspek  pelayanan seperti  peningkatan  kualitas  fasilitas  kesehatan,  peningkatan kualitas  profesionalisme  sumber  daya manusia  dan  peningkatan  kualitas  manajemen  rumah  sakit.  Pelayanan yang  berkualitas  harus  dijaga dengan  melakukan  pengukuran  secara  berkala  agar  diketahui  kelemahan  dan  kekurangan  dari  jasa pelayanan  yang  diberikan,  dan  dibuat  tindak  lanjut  sesuai  prioritas  permasalahannya. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis karakteristik pasien rawat inap terhadap pelayanan mahasiswa profesi pendidikan dokter (MPPD) di bagian Ilmu Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Ibnu Sina Makassar. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Data dikumpulkan dari 214 responden melalui kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Ibnu Sina Makassar pada bulan Januari 2025. Hasil: Mayoritas pasien merasa pelayanan sesuai terhadap kecepatan dan penampilan pelayanan MPPD. Kecepatan pelayanan dinilai memadai dengan 66,4% pasien merasa sesuai terhadap pemeriksaan yang cepat. Meskipun penampilan mendapatkan tingkat pelayanan yang lebih rendah dibanding aspek lain, keseluruhan tingkat pelayanan ini mencapai 68,9%. Kesimpulan: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan MPPD berupa kecepatan dan penampilan dinilai sudah sesuai dengan pelayanan yang diinginkan oleh pasien. Penelitian ini memberikan masukan penting bagi peningkatan kualitas layanan MPPD, terutama pada aspek pelayanan cepat dan komunikasi. ABSTRACT Background: Improving the quality of health services can be done from various aspects of services such as improving the quality of health facilities, improving the quality of human resource professionalism and improving the quality of hospital management. Quality services must be maintained by conducting regular measurements to identify weaknesses and deficiencies in the services provided, and follow-up actions are made according to the priority of the problem. Objective: To analyze the characteristics of inpatients in relation to the services of professional medical education students (MPPD) in the Internal Medicine Department of Ibnu Sina Hospital, Makassar. Method: This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional research design. Data were collected from 214 respondents through a questionnaire. This study was conducted at Ibnu Sina Hospital Makassar in January 2025. Results: The majority of patients felt that the service was appropriate to the speed and appearance of MPPD services. The speed of service was considered adequate with 66.4% of patients feeling appropriate to the fast examination. Although appearance received a lower level of service than other aspects, the overall level of service reached 68.9%. Conclusion: The study shows that MPPD services in the form of speed and appearance are considered to be in accordance with the services desired by patients. This study provides important input for improving the quality of MPPD services, especially in the aspects of fast service and communication.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the degenerative diseases that is widely experienced by the community and can even cause death. The older a person is, the greater the risk of experiencing hypertension. Many factors cause hypertension in the elderly, including psychological factors. Psychological factors that older adults with hypertension can cause are anxiety. So, the purpose of this study is the relationship between family support and anxiety levels in the elderly (elderly) with hypertension at the Kassi Kassi Health Center, Makassar City, in 2022. This type of research is observational analytic with a cross-sectional study design approach and a sampling technique. This study used the accidental sampling technique; the sample was 128 people. Data was taken using a univariate and bivariate analysis questionnaire with the chi-square test. The results of this study indicate a relationship between emotional support and anxiety levels in older adults with hypertension (p=0.000), there is no relationship between instrumental support and anxiety levels in older adults with hypertension (p=0.179), there is a relationship between information support and anxiety levels in older adults with hypertension (p=0.000), there is a relationship between appreciation support and anxiety levels in older adults with hypertension (p=0.000).
