Abstract

Tulisan ini ingin menjelaskan Determinisme teknologi dan eksesnya terhadap Manusia. Menusia yang menciptakan teknologi lewat penemuan dan penciptaan, ternyata justru berbanding terbalik. Teknologi yang diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan persoalan manusia, justru kita manusia terpengaruh oleh ketergantungan terhadap teknologi. Bayangkan saja, bila manusia tidak punya telpon genggam. Seperti apa manusia itu di era sekarang?. Namun demikian realitanya, bagimana ketergantungan bahkan sampai tingkat kecanduan manusia pada perangkat cerdas itu tidak bisa kita dilepaskan. Bagimana joget-joget viral di tiktok yang dilakukan oleh suku pedalaman di Afrika misalnya. Oleh karena itu, penulis akan membedah melalui tulisan ini bagimana berbagai pandangan ahli terkait determinisme teknologi dan dampaknya terhadap manusia

Abstract

This paper is to explain how the fusion of social movements and new media produces new social movements. The author himself raised how the #R4bia movement in Egypt and around the world as a form of protest and solidarity with the leader of the Egyptian state President Morsi (2012-2013) was overthrown by Abdul Fattah as-Sisi in a military coup in June 2013. The #R4bia symbol became a trending topic on various social platforms. media. technology is not historically a value-free entity. When a technology product interacts with the user community, the technology product undergoes an adjustment process, in which society gives meaning based on various values. There is a reciprocal relationship and a dialectical dynamic in the process of social construction that is built.

Abstract

McDonalization in the world created a new concept of a new modernization style of Popular Culture. The representation built by McDonald's then changed the capitalization system of the fast-food industry to one that prioritizes time and cost efficiency and offers the prestige of higher consumer class values through a sign system and the formation of a structure in a new service culture at McDonald's. Through a literature review viewed from the perspective of Ritzer's social definition paradigm and Giddens's Modernity, it can be explained that McDonald's makes a mass culture system at the global level for fast food restaurants and a modern system of product services. Meanwhile, McDonald's seems to be simulating a sign and icon that attracts consumers' attention to focus on the goal of forming a higher consumption society with the aim of supporting a smooth capitalization system in the culture industry.Keywords: Modernity; Ritzer; Gidden; Modern Culture Abstract McDonalisasi di dunia menciptakan sebuah konsep baru tentang Budaya Populer baru ala modernisasi. Representasi yang dibangun McDonald kemudian merubah sistem kapitalisasi industri makanan cepat saji menajdi yang mengutamakan efisiensi waktu dan biaya serta menawarkan prestise nilai kelas konsumen yang lebih tinggi melalui sistem tanda dan pembentukan struktur pada budaya pelayanan baru di McDonald. Melalui kajian literatur dilihat dari perspektif paradigma definisi sosial Ritzer dan Modernitas Giddens, dapat dijelaskan bahwa McDonald menjadikan sistem budaya massa ditingkat global untuk resto cepat saji dan sistem modern dari layanan produknya. Adapun McDonald terlihat mensimulasikan sebuah tanda dan icon yang menarik perhatian konsumen untuk menitik beratkan pada tujuan membentuk masyarakat konsumsi yang lebih tinggi dengan tujuan mendukung lancarnya sistem kapitalisasi di industri budaya.Keywords: Modernitas; Ritzer, Gidden; Budaya Modern

Abstract

The development of new media provides convenience in communicating and conveying the message, thus leading directly into a meeting without limited space, time and distance, users can easily participate in social interaction. Political parties take advantage of the development of new media in order to disseminate and political information to the public in order to obtain a good image. The Justice and Prosperous Party or sometime called PKS utilizing twitter as a social media in order to convey the message of political socialization through the official account DPP @PKSejahtera to 159.500 followers. This research is about the relationship of political socialization messages relations in social media twitter with the image of PKS. (Study: Political Socialization PKS through @PKSejahtera account). Purpose of this study is 1) how much the relationship of political socialization messages in social media Twitter with the image of PKS. This research method uses a quantitative approach. These results indicate that there is a relationship between socialization message via twitter to the image. The highest relationship found in the relationship of political socialization message with variable perception in the indicator 's political image.Keywords : Political Socialization Messages, Prosperous Justice Party, Twitter, Image.

Abstract

Abstract. This paper aims to analyze the media in the intrigue of political interests in determining the commissioners and leadership ranks of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) by the Minister of BUMN, Erick Tohir, was colored by the paradigm of State company management which was fundamentally overhauled but full of the stigma that favored the political elite in power. This was built by Tempo magazine in two editions, which both reported on the steps and actions of Erick Thohir in reshuffling the leadership ranks in BUMN. The theory of media reality construction is used in this study to dissect the construction of media coverage and the method used, namely framing analysis with Pan and Kosicki framing analysis models to analyze the structure of the text on Tempo magazine news in terms of media ideology and political economy interests. It was found that Tempo emphasized facts through news frames which always emphasized that the reshuffle of the leadership in BUMN had become a political matter. There was the involvement of parties close to Erick Thohir and entrusting personal or figures close to Jokowi to occupy the ranks of commissioners and directors in Indonesia. BUMN.Keyword: Erick Thohir, News Framing, Political Imagery, SOE Officials Reshuffle Abstrak.Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis media dalam intrik kepentingan politik dalam penetapan komisaris dan jajaran pimpinan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) oleh Menteri BUMN, Erick Tohir, diwarnai dengan paradigma pengelolaan perusahaan negara yang dirombak secara fundamental. namun penuh dengan stigma yang berpihak pada elit politik yang berkuasa. Hal itu dibangun majalah Tempo dalam dua edisi, yang sama-sama memberitakan langkah dan tindakan Erick Thohir dalam perombakan jajaran pimpinan di BUMN. Teori konstruksi realitas media digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk membedah konstruksi pemberitaan media dan metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis framing dengan model analisis framing Pan dan Kosicki untuk menganalisis struktur teks berita majalah Tempo ditinjau dari ideologi media dan kepentingan ekonomi politik. Ditemukan Tempo menekankan fakta melalui bingkai berita yang selalu menekankan bahwa perombakan pimpinan di BUMN sudah menjadi urusan politik. Ada keterlibatan pihak dekat Erick Thohir dan menitipkan pribadi atau tokoh dekat Jokowi untuk menduduki jajaran komisaris dan direksi di Indonesia. Abstract

Social media have become an integral element of modern life. Internet accessibility has boosted the public's engagement in computer-controlled official and informal activities. However, many information sources contain unsupported, inaccurate, and erroneous material. In this circumstance, media literacy is a significant phenomenon in developing and non-developing nations. Due to the misuse of social media and lack of media literacy in Bangladesh, some unexpected communal acts of violence happened during the past decade. This study intends to emphasize, from a Bangladeshi viewpoint, the significance of media literacy in reducing rumors, misinformation, disinformation, and fake news. Using descriptive research methodologies, more than forty secondary data sources from Bengali, English, Russian, Indonesian, and Turkish literature, such as research papers, reports, news stories, publications, books, and theses, have been examined. In order to combat misinformation, rumors, fake news, and yellow journalism in developing nations like Bangladesh, where literacy rates are still low, it is imperative to increase media literacy levels. In this regard, governments and non-governmental groups should work collaboratively to fix the deficiencies in this process.

Abstract

The Empowerment of Women Farmers Groups (KWT) encourages the formation of self-helpcooperatives. The hope is that the socialization of self-help cooperatives can be a means to helpease the economic burden that has been felt by farmers while waiting for the harvest to arrive.Farmers in Rajaiyang village usually depend on middlemen by borrowing money first, or byborrowing capital from moneylenders to meet their daily needs. A similar reality also occurs whenstarting the planting season. KWT and the Association of Farmers Groups (Gapoktan) inRajaiyang Village depend on moneylenders and middlemen, to meet their supply needs for seedsand fertilizers. This background makes Gapoktan and KWT the target of socializing the formationof self-help cooperatives accompanied by local village heads. It is hoped that the socialization ofthe formation of this self-supporting cooperative can be a pilot project for empowering womenfarmers in dealing with the very concerning problem of debt and credit. So that the existence ofcooperatives can help farmer groups financially in meeting their daily needs. In addition,socialization of the formation of self-help cooperatives among farmers is also expected to increaseagricultural productivity and economic independence of farmers in Rajaiyang village, IndramayuRegency.

Abstract

Training in entrepreneurship, social media usage, and information technology is required to boost youth creativity and innovation in the digital age. The aim of this community service is to raise awareness of the importance of increasing product value and developing digital marketing strategies for products. The method is socialization, training in the production of innovative products, and digital marketing skills. The results of the program can be seen in the raise in youth entrepreneurship, the value of products, and digital marketing. The participants can use processed milkfish and seaweed to create creative products that will raise its value. Additionally, youth in Pabean Udik Village have use of online marketing tools to promote their creative products.

Abstract

Recent decade, the podcast has become one of the new media platforms that have become a trend in society. Podcasts are becoming increasingly popular, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. At a time when people are forced to social distancing, some people want to build their creativity easily and cheaply, and efficiently on various podcast platforms. Podcasts are mostly only known among urban communities, while among fostered children such as those in orphanages, they are so common and unknown. This community service aims to introduce podcasts through training for orphanage. The results obtained by fostered students at the Media Kasih Islamic Foundation Orphanage are so enthusiastic in learning about podcasts and making podcasts for their respective activities that they build their creativity.
