Abstract

The Tourism and Culture Office of Pariaman City designed a planning program with several stages, namely content creation, platform determination, program implementation, monitoring and the final stage of evaluating. This planning is carried out to maximize tourism-related information and promotions through media that are considered quite effective, so as to have an influence on the number of tourists visiting both on a national and international scale. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the effectiveness of social media accounts can be a medium for fulfilling information and promoting tourism. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The research population is Instagram followers @pariaman.tourism and a sample of 366 respondents. The results of the research on the effectiveness of communication on the Instagram account @pariaman.tourism seen from the theory of communication effectiveness according to Hardjana which consists of six indicators, obtained a value of 3.30 which is included in the very effective scale range. Thus, the Instagram account @pariaman.tourism is a very effective medium in conveying information and promotions about tourism in the city of Pariaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh pemasaran digital, keunggulan bersaing, dan financial self-efficacy sebagai variabel moderasi dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja pemasaran pada sektor UMKM produk olahan ikan patin di Desa Koto Mesjid, Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 50 responden pelaku bisnis dan pengolahan data menggunakan teknik statistik Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pemasaran digital marketing tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran, keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran, variabel financial self-efficacy berpengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran, variabel financial self-efficacy tidak memoderasi pengaruh digital marketing terhadap kinerja pemasaran, variabel financial self-efficacy tidak memoderasi pengaruh keunggulan bersaing terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Masih ada beberapa faktor atau variabel lain yang mempengaruhi variabel kinerja pemasaran baik secara pengaruh langsung maupun moderasi.

Abstract

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Pekanbaru Panam faces challamges in increasing the active participan of non-wage wokers (BPU), through an integrated marketing communications carried out to acquire new participanst and maintain active participation. This study uses a Qualitative method with a case study. The object of the study is to examine integrated marketing communications activities and the subject of the study are employees who are tasked with marketing the BPU program. Data were obtained through interviewa, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques though recuction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that implementation of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan marketing communications includes core elements such as direct sales and management as the main account, as well as supporting elements such as advertising, publis realtions and social media. The integration of these elements creates an effevtive synergy in expanding social security protection for the BPU segment.

Abstract

This research analyzes the communication experiences of women in top management positions at PT. Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR), with a focus on the role of communication, challenges and its impact on the organization. Using a phenomenological approach, this research explores the motives behind career women's decisions, namely parental encouragement, determination, opportunity, as well as proof, economics and social status. The research results show that women's interpretation of leaders includes aspects of being nurturing, wise, and inspiring, with self-concepts divided into three categories: tough, ambitious, and friendly. Their communication experiences are divided into two categories, namely pleasant communication obtained from family, community and work support, and unpleasant communication due to busyness which reduces time with family. This research provides insight into the contribution of women in leadership in the oil and gas sector and the importance of effective and collaborative communication in facing challenges..

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy carried out by the Meranti Islands Regency Youth Sports and Tourism Service (DISPORAPAR) in promoting the Water War Festival (Cian Cui) after the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling involving festival managers, participants and visitors. The research results show that DISPORAPAR's marketing communication strategy uses the promotional mix concept within the Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) framework. Although not all elements of IMC are implemented, strategies that include advertising through print media, promotions through banners, social media, mass media, public relations activities, and organizing events have been proven to increase the number of tourist visits. The main challenges faced are budget and infrastructure limitations. This research recommends improving infrastructure and optimizing digital marketing strategies to introduce the festival to a wider audience

Abstract

Masyarakat Kampung Bali di Desa Jambai Makmur Kecamatan Kandis memiliki sebuah tradisi unik yakni ritual yadnya sesa yang dilakukan setiap hari selesai memasak di pagi hari dan sebelum menikmati makanan tersebut. Upaya menganalisis makna interpretasi dalam ritual yadnya sesa merupakan tujuan utama dari penelitian ini. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi secara langsung, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Riset ini menemukan bahwa makna interpretasi ritual yadnya sesa berhubungan dengan tindakan komunikasi pada individu pelaku ritual yadnya sesa saat melaksanakan ritual yadnya sesa. Tindakan tersebut meliputi tindakan terbuka dan tindakan tertutup. Tindakan tertutup meliputi motivasi pelaku ritual yadnya sesa yakni sebagai wujud rasa syukur atas nikmat yang telah diberikan Tuhan kepada manusia dengan perasaan bahagia dalam menjalankan kewajiban sebagaia warisan dari para leluhur. Tindakan terbuka yakni ekspresi wajah yang ditampilkan pelaku ritual yadnya sesa pada saat pelaksanaan tradisi yaitu dengan ekspresi wajah bahagia dan penuh senyuman.

Abstract

Kecamatan Dayun di Kabupaten Siak memiliki potensi wisata yang signifikan, dikenal dengan nama wisata embung. Peningkatan kualitas pemandu wisata merupakan hal yang urgen guna mengoptimalkan potensi wisata. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi pemandu wisata, Pokdarwis di Kecamatan Dayun melalui pelatihan yang komprehensif. Memperkenalkan teknik-teknik promosi wisata yang inovatif dan efektif. Metode Pelaksanaan, Analisis Kebutuhan, Mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan melalui wawancara dengan pemandu wisata lokal yang tergabung dalam Pokdarwis dan stakeholder dalam hal ini pemerintah, pelaku umkm.Menyusun materi pelatihan yang mencakup sejarah, budaya, teknik bercerita (storytelling), pelayanan prima, sapta pesona, komunikasi efektif, serta penggunaan teknologi dalam promosi wisata. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode partisipatif yang melibatkan simulasi, roleplay, dan studi kasus. Evaluasi dan Pendampingan, Melakukan evaluasi dan simulasi terhadap pemandu wisata yang telah mengikuti pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pemahaman pemandu wisata mengenai komunikasi efektif dan dipraktekkan. Terbentuknya pemandu wisata yang memiliki pengetahuan mendalam tentang destinasi lokal serta keterampilan komunikasi yang baik. Promosi Wisata yang efektif dapat meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Kecamatan Dayun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Kabupaten Bengkalis dalam pemberdayaan UMKM melalui pengolahan sagu sebagai pangan alternatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dinas Ketahanan Pangan Kabupaten Bengkalis menerapkan empat tahap strategi komunikasi oleh Hafied Cangara yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Dalam perencanaan menentukan sasaran komunikasi yakni UMKM olahan sagu, pesan komunikasi dilakukan berkolaborasi dengan lintas sektor terkait, kemudian menetapkan komunikator yang memiliki daya tarik dan berkredibilitas serta pemilihan media secara langsung dan online. Dalam pelaksanaan dilakukan pembinaan, pelatihan UMKM, dan kegiatan perlombaan seperti Pekan Sagu Nusantara. Dalam evaluasi dilakukan pemilihan komunikator yang memiliki minat dan kredibilitas yang baik dalam pemberdayaan UMKM, membantu UMKM membangun branding usaha yang baik serta membantu UMKM mengoptimalkan bahan baku sagu yang ada untuk diolah. Tahap pelaporan terdiri dari laporan lisan dan tertulis.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the symbolic meanings embedded in the Tetomeh ritual and how these symbols are constructed and interpreted by the people of Sintong Village through social interaction. The symbolic interactionism theory is used to examine both verbal and nonverbal communication within the ritual, including chants, prayers, and bodily expressions performed by the shaman as an intermediary between humans and supernatural entities. A qualitative research method with a communication ethnography approach is applied, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the symbols in the Tetomeh ritual function not only as tools for healing but also as a medium for cultural transmission that reinforces the relationship between humans, nature, and the spiritual realm. This ritual plays a significant role in preserving traditional values and strengthening social bonds within the Sintong Village community.

Abstract

This study discusses the hedonistic lifestyle among students of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru, characterized by a tendency to prioritize pleasure in daily life. The purpose of this study is to reveal the meaning of a hedonistic lifestyle from the perspective of past motives (because motive) and future motives (in order to motive). The research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Informants were selected purposively, and data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis involved data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested through prolonged engagement and triangulation. The findings show that the hedonistic lifestyle arises from past experiences, such as a lack of recognition in social environments. This motivates students to seek acknowledgment and popularity through a consumptive lifestyle. Additionally, hedonism is seen as a way to achieve higher social status and an ideal standard of living as portrayed by influencers, and as preparation for attaining their dream careers.
