Abstract

This research to explain the topic of managing and improving the learning quality of educators and education staff in an Islamic education institution management. This research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive method. The results of the research show that there are categories or stages in the management of education management and educational staff, namely; (1) Coaching and Development, (2) Promotion and Transfer, (3) Dismissal, (4) Compensation, and (5) Assessment. In improving the quality of learning, teachers as educators have a very important position and strategy in developing the potential of students. In the teacher is the glory and safety of the nation's future by instilling the basic values ​​of the ancestors as the ideals of National Education in forming a person who is physically and mentally prosperous. To increase the professionalism of educators in learning, it is improved through ways of attending upgrading, attending educational courses. conducting visits to other schools or comparative studies, increasing reading, establishing relationships with student guardians, increasing the use of methods, improving materials, as well as improving facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using gadgets on emotional intelligence and morals of students during the Covid 19 period at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan. The research method used is the Quantitative Research Method. The population of this study were students of class VII, VIII and class IX, which consisted of 76 students. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The results showed: (1) There is an influence between Gadget Use and Emotional Intelligence because the value of tcount > ttable is 2.514 > 1.99167. Likewise in the F test (Simultaneous) on the variable Gadget Use with Emotional Intelligence it was found that Fcount = 6.321 and with a significance level of 0.014 <0.05. (2) There is an influence between the use of gadgets and morals because the value of tcount > ttable is 9.087 > 1.99167. Furthermore, in the F test (Simultaneous) on the variable Use of Gadgets with Morals, it was found that Fcount = 82.571 and with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05. (3) Based on the results of the analysis in this study by testing the hypothesis using the t test and f test, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of Gadgets on the Emotional Intelligence and Morals of students during the Covid 19 period at SMP IT Nurul Ilmi Medan. This can be seen from the t test between Gadget Use and Emotional Intelligence with a tcount > ttable, namely 2.514 > 1.99167. Likewise in the t test between Gadget Use and Morals with a value of tcount > ttable, namely 9.087 > 1.99167. Likewise in the F test (Simultaneous) on the variable Use of Gadgets with Emotional Intelligence it was found that Fcount = 6.321 and with a significance level of 0.014 <0.05 and then in the F test (Simultaneous) on the variable Use of Gadgets with Morals it was found that Fcount = 82.571 and with a significance level of 0.001 <0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted to examine how efforts to improve education quality management at SMP PAB 10 Medan Estate. Efforts to improve to achieve quality education do not only fulfill the input and output aspects, but what is more important are the process aspects, what is meant is decision making, program management, institutional management processes, teaching and learning processes and monitoring and evaluation processes, provided that the process teaching and learning has the highest level of importance compared to other processes. One of the educational problems faced by the Indonesian nation today is the low quality of education at every level and educational unit, especially higher education. Various efforts have been made to improve the quality of national education, including through various trainings and improving the competence of lecturers, procuring books and media, improving educational facilities and infrastructure, and improving the quality of campus management. However, various indicators of the quality of education have not shown significant improvement. Some tertiary institutions, especially in big cities, have shown encouraging improvements in the quality of education, but most are still apprehensive. The quality of education are two terms that come from quality and education, meaning that they refer to the quality of products produced by educational institutions or schools. That is, it can be identified from the number of students who have achievements, both academic and other achievements, as well as graduates relevant to the goals.

Abstract

Learning management is a process of managing, which includes planning, organizing, controlling (directing), and evaluating activities related to the process of teaching students by including various factors in it, in order to achieve educational goals and seek to improve the quality of education. Quality education is education that is able to produce graduates with good morals. And to produce students who have good morals, good learning management is also needed. This study aims to determine the application of learning management to improve the quality of education. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The method used to collect data is through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations are used to obtain data or descriptions of geographical locations, facilities and infrastructure, the condition of teachers and students. Interviews were used to obtain data about learning management. Documentation is used to obtain data on historical reviews and organizational structures. The process of data analysis in this study used an interactive model analysis which consisted of: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it was shown that: 1. The learning management process went well, with the implementation of learning in accordance with proper planning and organization. has been determined. 2. The quality standards of education that are applied continue to increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) Kordinasi antar pengelola sekolah dalam meingkatkan mutu manajemen melalui mekanisme pembiayaan pendidikan di MTs Se Kecamatan Sei Suka Kabupaten Batu Bara. 2) Mekanisme Penetapan Pembiayaan Pendidikan di MTs Se Kecamatan Sei Suka Kabupaten Batu Bara. 3) Pengelolaan Alokasi Pembiayaan Pendidikan di MTs Se Kecamatan Sei Suka Kabupaten Batu Bara. 4) Pelaporan Pembiayaan Pendidikan di MTs Se Kecamatan Sei Suka Kabupaten Batu Bara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Kemudian, data dianalisis melalui teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa (1) Dalam sebuah lembaga pendidikan semua pengelola harus saling berkordinasi baik itu kepala sekolah, yayasan, komite sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, bahkan juga siswa.; (2) Kedua sekolah dalam mekanisme penetapan pembiayaan pendidikan dilakukan dengan cara mengadakan rapat, agar tidak ada menjadi salah paham, terutama untuk sekolah MTs Surya AgungTanjung Gading, sekolah ini mengadakan rapat dengan semua pengelola untuk menetapkan pembiayaan pendidikan terutama masalah iuran sekolah (SPP) (3) Pengelolaan dana bos kedua MTs dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah disepakati. (4) Pelaporan diawasi oleh kepala sekolah dan pihak yayasan dan seluruh stakeholder terkait

Abstract

Penelitian ini disusun guna melihat implementasi manajemen pendidikan dalam penerapan merdeka belajar kampus merdeka serta bagaimana tantangan implementasi kurikulum tersebut pada fakultas ilmu tarbiyah dan keguruan UIN Sumatera Utara. Masa kini perubahan berlangsung begitu cepat  mengikuti arus globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi yang sangat pesat. Oleh sebab itu pendidikan mempunyai peran yang sangat penting guna menyiapkan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang mempunyai berbagai macam keterampilan guna bisa menghadapi tuntutan hidup yang selalu dinamis. Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka hadir guna menjawab serta meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan dari perguruan tinggi umum dan perguruan tinggi Islam khususnya di FITK UINSU berupa soft skill maupun hard skill agar bisa menyesuaikan kebutuhan zaman. Pada penelitian ini jenis penelitian yang digunakan, yakni dengan penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode dokumentasi. Implementasi Manajemen Kurikulum MBKM meliputi empat kebijakan utama yaitu: kemudahan pembukaan program studi baru, perubahan sistem akreditasi perguruan tinggi, kemudahan perguruan tinggi menjadi badan hukum, dan hak belajar tiga semester di luar program studi.Kegiatan pembelajaran di luar program studi dan diluar perguruan tinggi meliputi magang, proyek di desa, mengajar di sekolah atau madrasah, pertukaran pelajar, penelitian, kewirausahaan, proyek independen, dan proyek kemanusiaan. Secara garis besar pengembangan kurikulum terdapat tiga tahapan, yakni tahap perancangan kurikulum, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Manajemen Kurikulum, Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, FITK UINSU

Abstract

Improving the quality of education cannot be separated from the quality of human resources owned. Therefore, Educational Institutions must also be thus able to meet the needs of human resources both in quantity and quality by increasing educational resources to supply human resource needs in accordance with the demands and improving the local education process by developing the necessary elements and supporting elements. Improving quality learning needs to use strategies that can be applied by each institution by taking into account the characteristics of the institution. With quality human resources, it is expected that educational institutions will become institutions that are able to effectively face future challenge. Quality standards for the learning process must also be established, in the sense that management needs to apply quality standards for the learning process that are expected to be effective to optimize the learning process and to produce appropriate outputs, namely mastering these quality standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan observasi mengenai Pemimpin memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam menentukan maju mundurnya sebuah lembaga pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, Pemimpin bertanggung jawab atas penyelenggaraan kegiatan pendidikan, administrasi sekolah, pembinaan tenaga kependidikan lainnya, dan pendaya gunaan serta pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menyatakan bahwa peningkatan profesionalisme pada level satuan pendidikan merupakan tanggung jawab langsung dari kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin dan manajer sekolah. Karena itu, organisasi penjaminan profesionalisme pendidik pada satuan pendidikan berada langsung di bawah tanggung jawab kepala sekolah.

Abstract

Dengan adanya Inovasi pembelajaran di era digital ini tentunya sangatlah berguna dan bermanfaat khususnya bagi dunia pendidikan di dalam pembelajaran. Dalam perkembangan di era digital ini maka interaksi yang terjadi antara Pendidik dengan peserta didik juga terdapat perbedaan dari yang sebelumnya yang mana saat ini proses interaksi pembelajaran mulai bergeser menjadi interaksi pembelajaran digital. Kehadiran inovasi dalam pembelajaran membawa manfaat yang signifikan bagi siswa, guru, dan sistem pendidikan pada umumnya. Inovasi membuka peluang baru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, memberikan pengalaman yang lebih menarik dan relevan, serta membantu siswa berkembang untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Tujuan dari artikel ini untuk mengkaji mengenai pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran, salah satu inovasi di dalam pembelajaran adalah platform pembelajaran online, literasi digital dan penggunaan video pembelajaran juga mengkaji mengenai permasalahan atau tantangan yang dihadapi di dalam pengimplementasian inovasi pembelajaran yang disebabkan oleh perkembangan teknologi dalam pendidikan di era digital dan memberikan solusi bagi tantangan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dan observasi dari wawancara dan observasi yang telah dilakukan peneliti menunjukkan bahwasanya Inovasi pendidikan di era digital memberi dampak yang besar terhadap perubahan sistem belajar mengajar, seperti adanya inovasi dalam strategi pengajaran dan metode serta model pembelajaran. Desain pembelajaran digital dikembangkan dengan menerapkan prinsip kemandirian, keluwesan, kekinian, dan kesesuaian dengan tingkat kebutuhan. Peserta didik harus mampu dan mau mempersiapkan diri dalam menghadapi era Digitalisasi agar nantinya tidak ketinggalan dan kalah bersaing dengan yang lainnya. Dengan begitu maka dapat tercapainya tujuan pendidikan.

Abstract

Exemplary leadership is a crucial factor in a leader's success. As a leader, the school principal plays a significant role in setting an example for teachers. However, whether this aspiration has been fulfilled remains an area that requires further research. This study explores the ethical leadership of school principals who serve as role models. The research approach adopted for this scientific article is a literature review involving data collection, reading, and managing research materials from various sources. The study's findings highlight leaders' pivotal role in shaping ethical behaviour and fostering an ethical climate within organizations. The leader's strategic approach to promoting ethical conduct becomes integral to the overall organizational strategy. In this context, the ethical mindset of managers revolves around three core concepts: leading by example through concrete actions, utilizing rewards and discipline, and actively communicating about ethics and values.In conclusion, one of the critical responsibilities of a leader is to cultivate a positive ethical climate within the organization. The ethical climate represents the perception of organizational members, leaders, and subordinates concerning the organization's adherence to ethical principles and the prevailing internal environment. Further research in this area can shed more light on the impact of exemplary leadership on organizational ethics.
