Abstract

Research on student learning outcomes of class VII MTs. Miftahul Ulum Karang Bayat Sumber Baru for the 2019/2020 school year with 42 respondents from 125 students who were taken by stratified random sampling. The method used in this study is a test method with a Quasi Experimental Design.Students who are used as subjects in the research sample, have the same ability, because b Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation oth classes get the same science material. The experimental class uses the Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) learning model and the control class uses the conventional method. It is known from the results of data analysis calculations that the use of the Reading Concept Map Connection Discussion Evaluation (RCCDE) learning model can affect learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the results of the ANOVA test scores which obtain Sig 0.000 < 0.05 (0.050). From the analysis of the data above, it is continued with the paired samples test. the results of the calculation of this analysis obtained a value of Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in student learning outcomes between the pre-test of the experimental class and the post-test of the experimental class. Abstract

Abstract, this research aims to reveal students' cognitive abilities and collaboration skills by studying marine macroinvertebrates at Bama Beach, Baluran National Park, using the RCCDE learning model. The type of research is quasi-experimental, one group design. The independent variable of this research is the RCCDE learning model, and the dependent variables are cognitive ability and collaboration skills. Cognitive ability is measured with a test after the learning activities, using 25 multiple-choice questions, each scoring 4 points for a correct answer and 0 points for an incorrect answer. Collaboration skills are measured using observation, employing an observation sheet adapted from Greenstein, 2012. The data from this research were analyzed using MANOVA with the help of SPSS v25. The results of the simultaneous influence analysis between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills obtained a significance value of 0.000 (>0.05), which means there is a simultaneous influence between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills. The results of the partial influence analysis between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills obtained a significance value of 0.000 (>0.05). Thus, there is a simultaneous influence between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities and collaborative skills and a partial influence between the RCCDE model on cognitive abilities. There is a partial influence between the RCCDE model on collaborative skills. This research informs that there is a significant influence on the learning of marine macroinvertebrates at Bama Beach, Indonesia, using the RCCDE model on students' cognitive abilities and collaboration skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan karakter peserta didik Sekolah Dasar menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek, yaitu penguraian sampah dapur, kotoran ternak, sekam, abu sekam, dan dolomit yang diaktifkan menggunakan Suplemen Organik Tanaman (SOT). Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kulalitatif, menggunakan metode observasi. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Jember, berjumlah 25 anak. Instrumen yang digunakan adopsi dari dimensi profil pelajar Pancasila Kemendikbudristek, meliputi: 1) dimensi beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berahlak mulia, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu akhlak kepada manusia, akhlak kepada alam, akhlak bernegara; 2) dimensi berkebhinekaan global, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati, yaitu berkeadilan sosial; 3) dimensi bergotong royong, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu kolaborasi dan kepedulian; 4) dimensi mandiri, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu pemahaman diri dan situasi yang dihadapi dan regulasi diri; 5) dimensi bernalar kritis, dengan kunci elemen yang diamati yaitu memperoleh dan memproses informasi dan gagasan dan menganalisis dan mengevaluasi penalaran dan prosedurnya; 6) dimensi kreatif. Hasil penelitian menginformasikan bahwa karakter profil pelajar Pancasila peserta didik dapat diekpresikan melalui pembelajaran PjBL.AbstractThis research aims to reveal the character of elementary school students using a project-based learning model, namely the decomposition of kitchen waste, livestock manure, husk ash and dolomite which is activated using Plant Organic Supplements (SOT). This type of research is descriptive qualitative, using observation methods. The research sample was grade 5 students at State Elementary Schools in Jember. The instruments used were adopted from the Kemendikbudristek's Pancasila student profile dimensions, including 1) the dimensions of faith, devotion to God Almighty, and kind character, with the key elements observed, namely morals towards humans, morals towards nature, morals toward states; 2) dimensions of global diversity, with the key elements observed, namely social justice; 3) the dimension of mutual cooperation, with the key elements observed, namely collaboration and concern; 4) independent dimension, with key elements observed, namely understanding of oneself and the situation at hand and self-regulation; 5) critical reasoning dimensions, with key elements observed, namely obtaining and processing information and ideas; and analyze and evaluate the reasoning and procedures; 6) creative dimension. The research results inform that Pancasila students, student profile character can be expressed through project-based-learning learning.

Abstract

Media audio visual merupakan media cetak berbasis visual yang berfungsi menyajikan materi pembelajaran dalam bentuk audio dan gambar dengan ukuran cukup besar yang digantung pada suatu penyangga dengan konten didalamnya dapat berupa audio, gambar, dan teks sesuai dengan materi yang akan disampaikan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan dan kesamaan dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya, sehingga dapat menghasilkan kekurangan dan kelebihan dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya.  Penelitian merupakan penelitian Research and Develoment (R&D), menggunakan metode PLOMP yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: 1) Analisis; 2) Desain dan pengembangan prototipe; dan 3) Evaluasi. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan data kuantitatif yang berasal dari lembar validasi dan angket kepraktisan serta data kualitatif yang berupa komentar atau saran. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu validator ahli materi dan ahli media, guru dan 6 peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil uji kevalidan dengan presentase rata-rata hasil validasi materi sebesar 80% dengan kategori valid dan presentase rata-rata validasi media 82,5% kategori valid. Hasil uji kepraktisan kepada respon guru dengan presentase rata-rata 90,22% kategori sangat praktis dan presentase rata-rata respon siswa 94,44% kategori sangat praktis dan valid.rdasarkan hasil validasi diatas bahwa audio visual sangat praktis dan dapat digunakan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa audio visual yang dikembangkan sangat praktis dan dapat diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran IPA di jenjang MTs.

Abstract

Pendidikan mangalami perkembangan mengikuti kemajuan zaman, sehingga penguasaan terhadap keterampilan abad 21 yang salah satunya adalah critical thinking penting untuk dimiliki siswa, sedangkan pembelajaran di sekolah tempat observasi menginformasikan bahwa pembelajaran masih menggunakan model yang kurang memotivasi siswa dalam mengembangkan ketrampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir ktritis siswa melalui perapan model pembelajaran Reading, Concept Map, Connection, Discussion, Evaluation (RCCDE). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah prosentase dan uji Paired Samples Test. Hasil analisis prosentase kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dari kegiatan pra siklus adalah 44,53 %, siklus pertama adalah 58,59 %, dan siklus kedua 78,79 %. Hasil analisis T Test diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai T hitung > T tabel, pada kegiatan pra siklus dan siklus pertama memiliki T hitung 8,72 > 2,00 kemudian dari siklus pertama dan siklus kedua memiliki nilai T hitung 14,09 > 2,00. Kesimpilan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran RCCDE dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile (PSP) character is an important element in forming an excellent and integrity-filled generation of Indonesians, because this research has only been done very little. The objective of this research should be to analyze the influence of PjBL learning on the PSP  character and the dimensions of cooperation, critical thinking, and creativity through the local wisdom of the Hylocereus sp. plant. The type of research is quasi-experimental, with a two-treatment group design. The independent variable uses PjBL learning, and the dependent variable is PSP in biology learning, including practical training in making Bokashi and maintaining dragon fruit plants. The population in this study was students of SMP Negeri 2 Pesanggaran, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, Indonesia. The research sample consists of students undertaking a local wisdom project, 30 students in group A and 30 students in group B, for a total of 60 people. Instrument research is an observation sheet of the PSP character adapted from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. The data obtained were analyzed using multivariate analysis, namely MANOVA. The research results indicate a simultaneous effect of the PjBL learning model on the PSP character and a partial effect on the dimensions of cooperation, critical thinking, and creativity (sig < 0.05). Thus, local wisdom-based projects have proven to be an effective strategy in supporting the achievement of the PSP character and efforts for the sustainability of natural resources. Integration of local wisdom into learning can be an innovative strategy to support the sustainability of natural resources while forming students with integrity by Pancasila values.

Abstract

Waste is a material that cannot be reused and has no utility value. This service aims to prevent the accumulation of waste that can cause environmental pollution, uncleanliness and unhealthy in the campus area. One alternative solution to the waste problem is to use the ecobrick technique. This service method uses Participatory Action Research (PAR), through to know, to understand, to plan, to action, to reflection (5T). The results of this service activity are transforming plastic waste using the ecobrick technique into an aesthetic photo spot through recycling plastic waste to facilitate the instagenic era for students who like to update stories on social media such as TikTok, Instagram (IG), and other popular social media. Therefore, the transformation service activity regarding waste that is changed using the ecobrick technique is very beneficial in various segments, students who like to take photos, the beauty of the environment, and can provide a solution to the accumulation of inorganic waste.

Abstract

Masker medis bekas pakai sudah terkontaminasi berbagai kuman akan mengakibatkan terjadinya pencemaran dan mengganggu kesehatan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendaur ulang sampah menjadi sesuatu yang bernilai, seperti pot bunga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Rancangan percobaan menggunakan persentase perbandingan antara masker bekas pakai dan semen putih sebanyak 5 varian. Hasil penelitian kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa masker medis bekas yang dicampur dengan semen putih dan dicetak menjadi pot bunga, pada perbandingan persentase komposisi masker 40% dan semen 60% secara visual sangat bagus, daya tahannya kokoh, strukturnya kuat, potongan masker dan semen menempel sempurna dan tidak mudah retak. Hasil analisis Chi-Square Test diperoleh nilai p 0,007 pada formula 5, nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari α. Hasil inovasi masker medis bekas pakai menjadi pot bunga, yang layak adalah pada formula 3 dan formula 5. Pot tersebut layak secara visual, ketahanan dan kekuatan struktur.

Abstract

Garbage, mainly plastic, in Jember Regency needs to be appropriately managed; many are found in rivers and scattered in gardens. This research aims to realize the character of students who care about the environment; research is carried out using projects. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) adapting the development model from Plomp through 3 stages, namely: 1) analysis); 2) design and develop prototypes; 3) evaluate. In the analysis phase, observations were made at TPSS and TPSA, and distributing environmental care character questionnaires were sent to 23 students. At the design and development prototype stage, a project is carried out to realize the character of caring for the environment through recycling waste into valuable products. At the evaluation stage, questionnaires were distributed about environmental care characters to 23 students, and product evaluation, namely writing the manuscript of the project that had been carried out. The results of TPSS and TPSA observations around the PTS campus in Jember, the average relative value was 9.47, which was in the less category. In contrast, students' environmental care character values before project implementation obtained an average score of 40.41, below expectations. The evaluation results at the design and development stages, namely recycling waste into valuable products, obtained an average of 81.67 in the category of exceeding expectations. The results of the product evaluation, namely the character value after carrying out project activities, obtained a character value of 77.04 which is in the excellent category while recycling waste into valuable products that have been written into manuscripts with an average value of 79.46 is in the excellent category. These results indicate that project-based learning is suitable for realizing the character values of students caring about the environment

Abstract

Peserta didik mengalami kesulitan untuk mempelajari materi Invetebrata terutama Ophiuroidea karena media yang diterapkan guru masih konvensional, sehingga dibutuhkan suatu media variatif untuk meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengembangkan media E-Booklet materi Ophiuroidea. Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan ialah penelitian pengembangan model Plom, terdiri dari tahap analisis, rancangan dan pengembangan purwarupa dan evaluasi. Uji coba kelayakan produk dengan uji validasi dan uji kepraktisan. Data dianalisis menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Uji validasi materi diperoleh kriteria sangat valid dengan nilai 81,3 %, sedangkan uji validasi media memperoleh kriteria sangat valid dengan nilai 83,5%. Uji kepraktisan memperoleh 92,5% berdasarkan respon Guru dan 88,06 % dari respon peserta didik. Nilai tersebut masuk dalam kriteria sangat praktis. E-Booklet yang dikembangkan dapat disimpulkan layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.
