Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan subsistem pendidikan yang secara konkrit mendukung penyiapan siswa untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Busa Kerja Khusus (BKK) adalah sebuah komponen utama untuk mengukur keberhasilan pendidikan di SMK, karena BKK berperan dalam mengoptimalkan pemerataan lulusan SMK dan menjadi sumber informasi bagi pencari kerja. Aplikasi sistem informasi BKK berbasis website ini terdiri dari, pengumpulan data alumni, yang dimonitoring oleh operator BKK, memberi lowongan pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan dan mendaftarkan lamaran pekerjaan oleh alumni atau siswa.. Pengembangan aplikasi sistem informasi Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK) pada SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Tujuan aplikasi ini untuk mempermudah SMK Negeri 2 padang dalam mengelola data dan mempermudah alumni untuk mencari lowongan untuk melamar pekerjaan. Pengelolaan yang sedang berjalan saat ini mengalami berbagai kendala, yaitu Sekolah kesulitan untuk mengumpulkan data alumni, pelayanan BKK di SMK belum efektif, karena masih mengunakan cara manual untuk mengumpulkan data alumni serta penyaluran lulusan SMK N 2 Padang ke dunia kerja belum maksimal. Maka dirancanglah suatu aplikasi sistem informasi Bursa Kerja Khusus (BKK) berbasis website. Metode pengembangan aplikasi sistem informasi ini menggunakan metode waterfall dengan UML, framework codeneigter 3, dan MySQL sebagai alat untuk mengembangka aplikasi BKK pada SMK N 2 Padang. Aplikasi Sistem informasi Bursa Kerja Khusus ini diharapkan membantu Sekolah SMK Negeri 2 dalam mengelola data alumni dan mempermudah alumni untuk mencari lowongan pekerjaan.

Abstract

Observasi awal ditemukan overlap kanal khususnya pada BLOK ELKA dan BLOK MESIN Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh overlap ditinjau dari parameter QoS (Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay dan Jitter) pada subjek penelitian. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, melalui pengukuran throughput, packet loss, delay dan jitter menggunakan wireshark, kemudian hasil pengukurannya dibandingkan dengan standar TIPHON/ITU-T. Penelitian menggunakan 2 jaringan WLAN yaitu wifi@unp dan @wifi.id. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa overlap kanal (Co-Channel Interference) frekuensi 2.4GHz sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas transmisi data. Dapat dilihat dari hasil pengukuran parameter QoS (throughput, packet loss, delay, jitter) di BLOK ELKA dan BLOK MESIN dalam kondisi overlap (Co-Channel Interference) sangat berpengaruh terhadap nilai pameter QoS pada setiap titik pengukuran. Besar pengaruh overlap ditinjau dari parameter yang paling berpengaruh adalah delay dan jitter. Nilai delay wifi@unp dan @wifi.id BLOK ELKA yang paling jelek pada TP3 @wifi.id sebesar 493,99ms. Nilai delay wifi@unp dan @wifi.id BLOK MESIN paling jelek pada TP3 jaringan @wifi.id sebesar 481,67ms, berdasarkan standar THIPON/ITU-T digolongkan jelek/buruk. Nilai jitter wifi@unp dan @wifi.id BLOK ELKA paling jelek pada TP3 @wifi.id sebesar 499,8ms, nilai jitter wifi@unp dan @wifi.id BLOK MESIN paling jelek pada TP3 @wifi.id sebesar 480,67ms, berdasarkan THIPON/ITU-T digolongkan jelek/buruk.Kata kunci: Kanal Overlap, Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay, Jitter  Based on initial observations, kanal overlap was found, especially in the BLOK ELKA and the BLOK MESIN, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of overlap in terms of QoS parameters (Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay and Jitter) on research subjects. The research method is descriptive quantitative, by measuring throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter using wireshark, then the measurement results are compared with the TIPHON/ITU-T standard. The study uses 2 WLAN networks namely wifi@unp and @wifi.id. The results of the analysis show that the channel overlap (Co-Channel Interference) of the 2.4GHz frequency greatly influences the quality of data transmission. It can be seen from the measurement results of the QoS parameters (throughput, packet loss, delay, jitter) in the BLOK ELKA and BLOK MESIN under overlapping conditions (Co-Channel Interference) that greatly affect the value of the QoS parameters at each measurement point. The amount of overlap in terms of the most influential parameters is delay and jitter. The worst delay value for wifi@unp and @wifi.id BLOK ELKA on TP3 @wifi.id is 493.99ms. The worst delay values for wifi@unp and @wifi.id BLOK MESIN on the @wifi.id network TP3 were 481.67ms, based on the THIPON/ITU-T standard, they were classified as bad/bad. The worst jitter values for wifi@unp and @wifi.id BLOK ELKA on TP3 @wifi.id were 499.8ms, the jitter values for wifi@unp and @wifi.id BLOK MESIN were the worst on TP3 @wifi.id of 480.67ms, based on THIPON/ITU-T it is classified as bad/bad.Keywords: Kanal Overlap, Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay, Jitter

Abstract

Era globalisasi membawa banyak perubahan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Dalam era ini, media pembelajaran memegang peran penting dalam menunjang proses belajar mengajar. Pada revolusi 4.0 hampir semua bidang berangsur berpindah ke digitalisasi. Perubahan ini memerlukan kesiapan untuk menghadapi di masa depan. Tantangan dan peluang revolusi 4.0 berdampak juga pada aspek pendidikan untuk lebih berinovasi serta diimbangi dengan empat keterampilan abad 21 yaitu keterampilan kreatifitas, berfikir kritis, komunikasi dan kolaborasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Pada metode ini diterapkan enam tahap, yaitu concept (pengonsepan), design (perancangan), material collecting (pengumpulan bahan), assembly (pembuatan), testing (pengujian), dan distribution (pendistribusian). Merancang media pembelajaran interaktif berupa Aplikasi Android dengan konten pembelajaran pengenalan alat ukur jaringan sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran di Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran (ATP), Capaian Pembelajaran dan Tujuan Pembelajaran yang diterapkan di kelas X TKJ dengan teknologi Marker Augmented Reality sehingga dapat diakses melalui smartphone. Membangun Aplikasi media interaktif sehingga mudah digunakan oleh siswa dan sebagai pendamping buku ajar oleh guru. Dapat mengimplementasikan teknologi Augmented Reality pada media pembelajaran untuk mata pelajaran Dasar-dasar Teknik Jaringan Komputer dan Telekomunikasi (DTJKT).Kata kunci : Augmented Reality, Alat Ukur, MDLC, DTJKT Globalization has led to widespread changes in various life aspects, including education. Learning media's significance in facilitating teaching and learning is crucial in this era. The 4.0 revolution has prompted a gradual shift towards digitalization in almost all sectors. Adapting to these changes is essential for future readiness. Revolution 4.0's challenges and opportunities also impact education, emphasizing innovation and balance with 21st-century skills: creativity, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. The design employs the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) through six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The aim is to create interactive Android learning media, specifically an application introducing network measuring tools. This aligns with the Learning Objectives Flow (ATP), Learning Outcomes, and Learning Objectives for 10th-grade TKJ students. Augmented Reality Marker technology enables smartphone access. The interactive app serves as both a student-friendly learning tool and a teacher's companion, potentially integrating Augmented Reality technology for teaching Fundamentals of Computer Networking and Telecommunications Engineering (DTJKT).Keywords: Augmented Reality, Measuring Instruments, MDLC, DTJKT

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of students, teachers and school principals regarding the entrepreneurship-based management model that is planned to be implemented at SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang and to find out their hopes regarding increasing students' interest in entrepreneurship. Qualitative research with a case study approach. Data sources were obtained through observation and interviews with students, teachers and principals of SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang. The entrepreneurship-based management model is believed to be able to create a learning environment that is conducive to the development of an entrepreneurial spirit. However, commitment and support from all stakeholders is needed, including improving facilities, to achieve the goal of increasing students' interest in entrepreneurship. Implementing a comprehensive entrepreneurship-based management model along with strengthening infrastructure support can motivate students' interest in entrepreneurship at SMK Negeri 1 Lembah Melintang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Network Simulator terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI Pada Mata Pelajaran Konsentrasi Keahlian TJKT. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TJKT SMK N 1 Batusangkar tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 34 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh.Pada penelitian ini siswa kelas XI TJKT dibagi kedalam dua group yaitu group kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah masing-masing 17 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa pretest – posttest,observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TJKT pada group satu yang menggunakan media network simulator lebih baik dibandingkan dari pada group dua tanpa media network simulator . Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan pada hasil rata-rata posttest untuk group satu adalah sebesar 82.72 sedangkan rata-rata posttest untuk group dua adalah sebesar 75.37. Dari hasil uji independent sample test didapatkan nilai sig.(2 tailed) pada posttest kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol adalah sebesar 0.023 dengan taraf signifikan 5% sehingga 0.049 < 0.05, hal ini berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berbunyi : ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan network simulator terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI TJKT SMK N 1 Batusangkar.

Abstract

This research aims to create an educational environment integrated with technology through the implementation of educational technology, particularly by managing and storing digital learning device documents known as repositories. The developed Repository System aims to optimize storage management for learning device documents within an educational institution. A case study was conducted at a Vocational High School (SMK). The management and storage system for learning device documents was developed using the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) method, adopting an adaptive and flexible agile approach. The repository system also applies data compression technology to optimize the storage capacity of learning device documents. Based on the results of the data compression testing, the developed system proved to be suitable, achieving an average storage efficiency of 40.04% for each uploaded file. This research contributes practical insights into the implementation of a repository system in an educational environment, particularly in Vocational High Schools, with a focus on curriculum transitions and the efficiency of managing learning device documents.

Abstract

E-commerce has become a dominant trend in buying and selling transactions; however, the Atlanta Sport Store still relies on a manual approach to managing data, marketing, product sales, and generating sales reports. To address this challenge, we propose an innovative e-commerce platform design for the Atlanta Sport Store. The development methodology involved the waterfall method and Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The programming stack includes PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database management system (DBMS), and XAMPP as the web server, with coding performed through browsers such as Google Chrome. The primary objective of this design is to create an effective e-commerce site, facilitating customers to find information and make product purchase transactions while simplifying store management activities. This e-commerce design not only addresses online sales needs but also optimizes inventory management, transaction reporting, and financial reporting for store owners. This study makes a significant contribution to optimizing business operations through the implementation of an integrated e-commerce solution, opening up opportunities for increased efficiency and competitiveness in the retail sector.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a desktop application for Monitoring Ships and storing data from the Automatic Identification System (AIS) utilizing Realtek Software Defined Radio (RTL-SDR) and Raspberry Pi devices. The development method employed is the waterfall model, using Python and PyQt as the main programming languages. Black-box testing was conducted on the application, covering aspects such as decoding AIS messages, real-time monitoring, historical data storage, and statistical analysis of the data. The test results indicate that the application successfully addresses challenges faced by the simple AIS receiver, achieving the research objectives by accurately decoding AIS messages, monitoring ship journeys in real-time, storing AIS data as historical data, and presenting informative statistical data. Despite some lag, especially on the Raspberry Pi device, the application contributes positively with improved accuracy and functionality. Further evaluation, technological updates, and integration with other devices are expected to enhance the application's performance. The use of Python and PyQt provides a foundation for further development to enhance the quality of ship navigation systems. It is recommended to involve the decoding of other AIS message types in future research and to consider building a ship journey simulation system for an interactive user experience.

Abstract

The Web-Based Student Violation Point Information System (SIMPONIS) was developed to enhance the efficiency and transparency of recording and monitoring student violations at SMA Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir. This system is designed to replace the previous manual method, which was prone to errors, data duplication, and delays in handling violations. Through SIMPONIS, guidance counselors can record and monitor student violation points in real-time and provide accurate reports to students and parents. The system integrates an Early Warning Feature that alerts users when a student’s violation points reach a critical threshold, allowing for corrective actions to be taken promptly. The system was tested using the black box method, ensuring that all functions operate as expected. The test results show that SIMPONIS provides an effective solution for managing student violation data, increases parent involvement in monitoring their children, and simplifies the administrative tasks of guidance counselors. Therefore, this system has the potential to be implemented more broadly in other educational institutions.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has transformed home security by enabling automated remote monitoring and control systems. This study presents an IoT-enabled smart fence prototype that utilizes the NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller and the Blynk application to provide secure, efficient remote gate operations. The system allows users to remotely open, close, and lock gates via mobile devices, addressing the limitations of traditional manual methods. Core components include ultrasonic sensors for real-time obstacle detection, relays, and motors, all integrated into a robust hardware-software framework. Testing revealed consistent system responses within two seconds under stable network conditions, with accurate obstacle detection ensuring the safety zone is maintained. Despite network stability challenges, the system is practical, user-friendly, and scalable for residential security applications. Future improvements could incorporate dual connectivity options to enhance network resilience and advanced sensor calibration to improve reliability across varied environments. This cost-effective prototype demonstrates significant potential for modern smart home security applications and future advancements.
